2) Wow! Can't figure out about the link to Joe's video. If you go to his account, it should be up, there. But Twitter is not allowing me to paste it in above. Go figure, eh? So again, here's Joe's account where the video is posted: @joekent16jan19
3) Now, and with no further ado for the moment, here is a long-form interview I had the honor to record with Joe a few days ago. More on the interview will follow, below, but here it is for your viewing pleasure:
4) Also before diving in, allow me to introduce @vladlemets. He's the co-founder and chairman of Veterans For America First. He opens and closes out our interview, and was the guiding light behind its creation.
5) As the leader of Veterans For America First, @vladlemets has a vision of veteran leaders rising across America, and he's doing more to make that happen than just about anyone I know. If you check out the website, you'll see all VFAF.org's endorsements.
6) In the coming tweets, we'll follow @joekent16jan19's message carefully. The interview is built upon 10 segments. They are the 10-Planks of the #MAGA Movement, as documented in @KateScopelliti's and my book:
7) Here are the 10 Planks. Much to my surprise, @joekent16jan19 decided to work through each one of them, and in order.
8) The 10 Planks are not mine or @KateScopelliti's creation. We simply followed them from Trump's very last rally of 2016, the early morning of 8 November before the polls opened. You can isolate them for yourself if you're interested, here:
9) When we wrote our book in 2018, we hoped to affect the midterm elections, and we surely failed in that. But, @KateScopelliti and I had another goal. We felt that the #MAGA Message needed to be documented. If you read our book, you'll see we lay our rationale out clearly.
10) As you watch our interview, you'll see that @joekent16jan19 understood every one of those 10 points, and often far better than I have until now. I am NOT exaggerating. You'll note times when I'm simply flabbergasted with the power of Joe's thinking.
11) I promise, you'll feel it. There is no shield against the sense of being, not merely impressed, but more like IMPRESSED, or MASSIVELY IMPRESSED with Joe. I won't give any spoilers here, those are to come below, which I'll explain in a moment...
12) I can tell you that no matter how up to speed you may already be on America, on the America First Movement, you'll at least be hugely inspired by Joe's message. But if you're like me, you're going to be both blown away and tremendously instructed.
13) Okay, enough of me gushing. If you don't want spoilers from the interview, you need to watch it in its entirety (edited versions will be forthcoming soon...) before reading on here. It's the fastest two hours I've ever viewed, no kidding.
14) I'm going to take a short break, first, now. Then, the slow slog will commence, and this may take me a day or two to complete. I'm going to watch the interview again, but this time with far more detailed eye. As I pull nuggets out, I'll come back here with time stamps.
15) You are forewarned. Spoilers coming. Really, go watch it yourself first! And be ready to plunge your thinking about America, and America First down to depths you most likely have not yet imagined.
I'll be back in a bit...
16) The first point comes from @vladlemets' opening. 11 tours of duty, @joekent16jan19 completed 11 tours. Those of us who never wore the uniform can't even begin to imagine one tour, let alone 11. As you listen to the interview, you'll hear just how important that is. Amazing.
17) At not quite 5:00 in, Joe makes a the surprising decision I mentioned above. We're going to do all 10 Planks, and do them in order. I honestly thought we'd have 15 or 20 minutes. I had NO idea Joe would chose to cover them all.
18) I had to play and replay the first minute of segment 1 - from 4:55 to just about 6:00 - several times. Joe's definition of and passion for the Forgotten Americans simply moves my soul. I don't think a better definition has been expressed.
19) I'm at 6:36 and Joe has just identified "the Ruling Class." He instantly characterizes how there is NO DIFFERENCE between the elites of the Republican and Democrat parties. Note that. Not only will we hear more in this interview about it, it's going to be pivotal for America.
20) I come back in at 8:17, and Joe's clarity simply has me riveted.
21) At 9:35 Joe starts discussing how the Ruling Class has had to crack down on the Forgotten Americans. Stick tight to that chain in his thinking and message. It's profound.
22) At 10:00 we get that the Ruling Class is running scared. They know they can't win elections anymore, and so they have to steal them. Joe has one of the strongest voices on Election Integrity in America.
23) At 11:00 Joe and I both skim over a complex point, rapidly. Joe is talking about how you can ask the average American questions about all these points, and you'll get answers in agreement...as long as you do NOT call it #MAGA. I have to talk about that a bit here...
24) I didn't follow them back in 2016 when they accurately called Trump's election, but the Trafalgar Group is a fantastic polling outfit, and I don't say that about many, as you know! Well, back then, they pioneered something called Social Bias Polling.
25) They discovered that many would NOT say they would vote for Trump, themselves, but they WOULD guess that their neighbor might. Can't linger here any longer, but boy do we have work to do in America over this. Now back to our interview...
26) As we end segment 1, coming up on 13:00, I joyfully gave, and Joe joyfully accepted this definition of the Forgotten American:
A = Politician
B = Citizen Who Wants Stuff
C = Citizen Who Will Pay For Said Stuff
A & B never feel the need to remember C when writing laws.
27) I believe I'll pause now for today and come back tomorrow, picking up with segment 2, just after 13:00. Funny, I didn't think I'd enjoy sharing my study like this, but I do! I suspect, however, that it is the student's joy at the teacher's instruction that informs that.
2 July 2020 #JoeKent4Congress Analysis ends - just for today - at #27. I will post today's work as a PDF over at Telegram, where you should come join us to discuss!
2) Honestly, I was dreading the fact that I KNEW I'd have to watch, start, stop, and time stamp, @joekent16jan19's deep wisdom and incredible knowledge and vision for America. But then, the second magic moment happened. I documented this yesterday, here:
3) The first magic moment was the interview itself, of course. I knew almost nothing about Joe before. Moment by moment, he simply had me at the edge of my seat, if not falling off it completely. That is what leads to the second bit of magic. It's worthy of actual study.
Follow them. Listen to them. Serve and support them as they have served and supported us. We need them in ways we have not yet understood.
2) Your first step is to go, right now, and follow @SandhillsKen right here at Twitter. Ken is a LtCol Ret. Army, right Ken? He led his warriors on the field as Special Operations commands. I can’t get him to tell me any more than that. I’ve tried.
3) @SandhillsKen does both lead a local movement and has an outstanding website. When you go there, and I’ll give you some screenshots below, you want to subscribe and donate. Here’s his site:
Imagine if you will, a nation where babies are safe within the womb. Where murdering babies is the most terrible act, and one simply never done. Where the miracle of life is sacred.
2) @shestokas has taught me to believe in such progress. He points out to me that once slavery was enshrined in law, with all the majesty that law imparts. Evil and contrary to every aspect of our creed as a people, it existed lawfully until it was make illegal.
3) We may argue over the morality of contraception. Many reject it. I do not. But I do reject every form of abortion, to include the day after pill. Murder by pill is still murder. And yes, with great agony, I have accepted the term "murder," as the only one appropriate.
I considered (and then rejected) the idea of entitling today's analysis like so:
Rights, Rule Of Law, Life, Murder
Rejecting the title, we're going right there anyway. The decision to end a life, purposefully, is murder.
2) You may believe me when I tell you, I thought long and hard before I hit "Tweet" above. I know that, for me personally, there is no going back after posting that. For the rest of my life, even if I were to recant, I will always be judged by the above statement. Always.
3) I have granddaughters who may never speak to me again. I will lose business in my coaching practice. While far from the first to use the term "murder" on topic, having done so, I may never take it back. And I am doing so. Abortion is murder. It is not a right.
Of the 15 points made, we’ll analyze points 11 – 15 below…
2) And here are all 15 points:
3) We need to pick up at #10, to understand #11. @shestokas has faced judges, defending churches against unconstitutional closures. I often say to him I just can't imagine what he's experienced. This is another. How can a judge even hear such a case in America?
2) Today’s analysis is going to come in parts. Seriously, the most important thing is action. So please go check out Dan Schultz’s outstanding website. It’s pure genius. Go now. Here it is again!
3) Just a bit of quick history. Dan has been executing and leading this strategy since the early 2000s. He published it as a book at the same time the Tea Party arose in 2010. And he did it again for our midterms in 2018. It’s available free at Kindle.
