1GB of storage costs at least $1M on @ethereum,
at least $500k on @solana — it is just too expensive. @arweave comes to the rescue, with mind blowing $5 per 1GB storage (as of 2022).
So we’ve used #SmartWeave as an optimal technology for @redstone_defi oracle protocol.
But we’ve also met limitations: performance lower than our needs, unclear base protocol definition, and implementation that is difficult to unit test...

Imagine a contract that stores a large amount of data, such as a map with millions of entries.
Even a single entry change requires processing and storing the entirety of data (in json format).
2️⃣ With the increased volume of data, this method of storing contract state does not scale well.
