A few months ago, I got a promotion at #Meta with a $50K raise.

I immediately updated my resume b/c I knew I was worth more than that.

I landed a job at #Google that increased my compensation by over $150K.

Tech is one of the few industries where women and BIPOC can be compensated fairly without going to war with their colleagues and bosses.

That kind of stress will take years off of your life. (Google: Racism as a public health issue.)
So, how did I know that I was worth more?

Know your worth. Then, add tax!

Let's get real. So far, I haven't made any progress towards my top goal of 2022. The year is half way over and I haven't built on the brand that I started here and on Instagram in 2021.

I'm happy to be back.

Here's what I've been up to 👇
Over the past 6 months, I've had quite a few big life changes:
✅ New City (Back home in Philly! Yay!)
✅ New Baby (Coming Soon!)
✅ New Job (Hi Google! Bye Meta!)

The Mental Load (look it up 🔍) has taken it's toll on me during these big life changes!
The mental load is hard to escape!

My husband carries his weight around the house and we outsource things we can't do. But, even with a good system, women still end up bearing more of the "mental load" (Again...Look! It! Up!)
