1/ FiLiA is driven by the passion + dedication of its team.

Our annual event is unfunded and organised by volunteers. In 2019 we measured the Woman-hours that made FiLiA happen ... 8,344! It's more now, as FiLiA has grown.

2/ We took FiLiA out of London to reach more Women and to grow the movement. Our CEO moves every year to hear from and engage local Women.

We gained charitable status.

We started the Friends of FiLiA scheme to support Women to participate in FiLiA.

3/ We've held FiLiA in #London #Manchester #Bradford #Portsmouth

1,350 tickets were sold last year. We anticipate that #FiLiA2022 in #Cardiff will be even bigger

So far Women from 62 countries have made their way to FiLiA to speak.

5/ Many of you will know about the targeted attacks on our Sisters at @VanRapeRelief for protecting Women-only spaces in #Canada

6/ We hadn't heard of the #HagueConvention and were unaware of the implications on Women fleeing #DomesticAbuse

7/ FiLiA stepped forward on sex-based rights by supporting the position of @Womans_Place_UK

Ali, Dani, Katherine, Kiri and Pragna will be tackling betrayal by the left, dangers from the right and the need for an autonomous women’s liberation movement.

8/ We've watched with admiration the tenacity of @fairplaywomen upholding the rights of Women in sport and prisons.

9/ Lesbians from all around the globe have responded to @LabrysLit; a montly book group run by, for, and about Lesbians.

Founder @ClaireShrugged will be joined by @Alliewhowrites @bindelj Julie M and Miriam to celebrate Lesbian culture and community
