First pic is the #GreenwoodParkMall food court. Second pic shows approx. locations of where shooter & Dicken were. Within 15 seconds of shooting started, police say Dicken fired 10 shots, killing suspect. Autopsy shows suspect hit 8x, none of those self-inflicted GSW.
Police say Dicken, who was armed only with a handgun, engaged the shooter from a distance of an estimated 30 yards. Police say he was ‘very proficient’ and ‘tactically sound.’ He had no previous police training, authorities say.
More: Police say Dicken started making his way towards the gunman, motioning for people to leave behind him. The gunman tried to retreat back into the restroom, but was taken down before he had the chance. #Greenwood

#BREAKING: Authorities have issued a correction to the #GreenwoodParkMall shooting timeline. Police say the moment the suspect exited the restroom/began shooting, until he was shot by a 22YO man, was 15 seconds, not 2 minutes. #Update
"The surveillance video shows Sapirman exit the restroom at 5:56:48pm. He was neutralized by Dicken at 5:57:03pm. This error was simply a result of misreading notes during the conference. I feel the need to correct this immediately," said GPD Chief James Ison.
During a press conference, authorities said the suspect fired 24 times and the Good Samaritan, 10. According to the Johnson County Coroner, the autopsy shows the suspect was shot 8 times, none of which were self-inflicted. #Update

Johnson Co. Coroner says the victims include husband and wife, Pedro Pineda, 56, and Rosa Mirian Rivera de Pineda, 37, and Victor Gomez, 30. The victims were killed when a gunman opened fire in the Greenwood Park Mall food court area. @FOX59 @CBS4Indy

Aishia told me this is the last photo she took of her baby “Bree.” She says it was the night before she went to Henry Dinkins house, a person of interest in the case. He has not been charged in her disappearance but is labeled on an Amber Alert as her ‘abductor.’
