#BREAKING: Lawrence Reed, 50, is charged with terrorist attack against a mass transportation system. He’s the suspect accused of dousing a 26-year-old woman with a suspected ignitable liquid and lighting her on fire as she tried to get away on a CTA Blue Line train. @WGNNews Image According to police sources, Reed has been arrested 71 times in Cook County and convicted in 13 of those cases. He was on pretrial release in a case where he’s accused of aggravated battery on an employee at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn. His arrests date back to the mid-90s.

THREAD: Protesters shouted at federal agents near 35th/California in the Brighton Park neighborhood. An armed U.S. citizen, and licensed CCL holder according to LE sources, was shot after DHS says she tried to run over Border Patrol agents. She ended up here after driving away.
At the truck repair shop, workers said the woman parked in their lot & came inside, bleeding profusely w/ multiple gunshot wounds. Staff & a customer tried to stop the bleeding & called for help. They weren’t aware of what happened until federal agents arrived, they said. Image

#BREAKING: Authorities have issued a correction to the #GreenwoodParkMall shooting timeline. Police say the moment the suspect exited the restroom/began shooting, until he was shot by a 22YO man, was 15 seconds, not 2 minutes. #Update "The surveillance video shows Sapirman exit the restroom at 5:56:48pm. He was neutralized by Dicken at 5:57:03pm. This error was simply a result of misreading notes during the conference. I feel the need to correct this immediately," said GPD Chief James Ison.
