In a shocking development that absolutely no one could have seen coming, Democratic Colorado, the group that spent over $4M in the #COSen GOP primary trying unsuccessfully to keep Joe O'Dea out of the general election, was entirely funded by Chuck Schumer's Senate Majority PAC
Senate Majority PAC raised $29M in the month of June, chiefly $13M from its dark money affiliate Majority Forward, $4M from Fred Eychaner, $2.5M from George Soros' Democracy PAC. It disbursed $12.4M to other cmtes, made $1.6M in IEs, and has $65.6M banked.
The DSCC raised $12.57 million in June, burned $7 million on operating expenditures, $1.97 million on legal services, transferred $1.72 million to other committees, and contributed $51.2K each to its candidates in #AZSen, #GASen, #VTSen, and #WASen, ending with $53.5M on hand.
The NRSC raised $9.46 million in June, burned $5.2 million on operating expenditures, made $8.58M in independent expenditures, transferred $207K to affiliates, gave $232.5K to its Senate candidates, $2.37M on legal, and ended with $28.45 million on hand.
The DCCC brought in $17 million in June, burned $11.6M on operating expenditures, $1M on legal, transferred $265.2K to affiliates, contributed $106K to candidates, and ended with $121.5 million on hand.
There was nothing intentional about missing the 2022 ballot. They turned in their signatures too close to the deadline, and the letter from the SoS starting the 30-working day clock for counties to verify the signatures didn't go out until May 19th. elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/ccrov/2022/may…
The 30 working day deadline fell on July 1st, the day after the cutoff for the 2022 ballot. Most counties finished ahead of schedule, but enough didn't to prevent it from having the necessary signatures by close of business on June 30th.
Three new proposed ballot initiatives for the 2022 election were submitted to the California Attorney General's office this evening, each backed by some heavy hitters. oag.ca.gov/initiatives/ac…
The first, the 'Water Infrastructure Funding Act', was submitted by agricultural interests and would direct CA to budget 2% of its annual General Fund Revenue to water projects until 5M acre feet of additional supply are available oag.ca.gov/system/files/i…
The second, the 'Repeal the Death Tax Act', is an initiative from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association that would undo parts of last year's Prop 19 oag.ca.gov/system/files/i…
SurveyUSA polled six of the leading Republicans and one of the 9 rando Democrats on the ballot, and you'll never believe what happened next. surveyusa.com/client/PollRep…
Missed this last night...Newsom recall candidate @CaitlynJenner, currently taking a break from the campaign trail to film a reality show in Australia, raised $737,385 for her gubernatorial campaign, burned through $910.2K, and ended July with $21,568 remaining & $156.4K in debt.
Looks like Caitlyn Jenner's biggest expenditures were to WinRed (a large portion of which went towards campaign merch from Ace Specialties), Jamestown Associates (mainly Facebook ads), Fabrizio Lee & Associates for polling, and to Brad Parscale.
Jenner's team has put more effort into selling campaign merch than towards putting her name in contention to be considered for the CA GOP's endorsement.
Mid-year FEC report shows at least some donors have forgiven the Lincoln Project for the pederasty-enabling and the wholesale grifting in the pursuit of generational wealth transgressions, contributing $4.8M to the scandal-plagued group.
While Lincoln Project brought in $4.8M, the operating expenses of $8.5M suggest there might be an incipient panicked rush for the exits, with everyone involved grabbing everything that isn't nailed down on the way out.
Lincoln Project spent $1.37M on non-political media buys, spent $1.12M on its streaming services, and paid over $964K on legal fees and $610K on communication consulting as it struggled to repair its battered reputation.
