@QuickswapDEX maintained its dominance with 382k users, processing 4.52M transactions.
3/ In gaming, @aavegotchi is the biggest gainer after adding 102k users to the #Gotchiverse, up 805% from last quarter.
NFT-based strategy game @Planetix0 grew its user base by 8% to 58k users along with @TheSandboxGame (73% to 36k users) and @ARC8App (89% to 244k users).
4/ In the NFT space, @opensea saw 1.2M new NFT wallets come online #onPolygon in Q2, increasing the total unique active wallets by 47% to 1.5M.
New mints jumped 50% to 66.6M transactions. And while the total dollar value of NFT trades declined 64%, tx volume soared 47% to 122M.
5/ But the most bullish signal, and a sign that the #Polygon ecosystem is building through the bear, comes from developer activity.
The network added on average 1,000 new contract creators a day for a total of 90,514, more than triple the pace of growth in the last quarter.
6/ So, even in the midst of a bear market, there were many exceptional Q2 performers #onPolygon!

1/ Things move fast in Web3. A week can feel like a year, 6 months can feel like an eon.
#Polygon’s @dtyagi takes a look back at the greatest hits of the first half of 2022 (or the extended season of #WAGMIonPolygon) in his latest article.
Here are some of the highlights.🧵
2/ Stats!
Total funds #Polygon invested in hackathon bounties & @gitcoin commitments: $2M
Apps running on Polygon: 19,000+
Average number of monthly transactions: 90M
Cumulative contract creators: 153,000+
Potential creative energy of devs building #onPolygon: Unbounded💜
3/ During the first half of 2022, #Polygon made a concentrated effort to fully support the vision of #Web3 devs everywhere by launching Polygon Guilds, Polygon Academy, @0xPolygonDAO and Polygon Village, as well as setting up WAGMIJobDrops and the Polygon Ecosystem Job Board.
An open forum for a decentralized collective of environmentalists, developers, and entrepreneurs to come together and ensure long-term sustainability across Web3, and beyond.
Avail takes a bold step towards a modular future, where chains specialize and work together for a much more scalable #Web3.
Here’s how it works 👇 [1/6]
#Polygon uses “modularity” to make blockchains better.
That’s a bit abstract. But Avail is a great example of this.
We've seen how scalable blockchains can become when rollups take execution off-chain.
Data availability is the next logical piece to take off-chain.
[2/6]
Before this, every blockchain performed:
1️⃣ Data Availability - reach consensus on transaction (tx) order & ensure txs are available for verification
2️⃣ Execution - run txs & determine state changes
3️⃣ Settlement - final verification and arbitration
Geo is stored on @IPFS, anchored #onPolygon & indexed by @graphprotocol to solve the world's problems in a decentralized way.
[1/5]
Geo is indexed by a subgraph on the @graphprotocol’s decentralized network—which also powers the display of data from live queries from other subgraphs on the network. Users can feed subgraph data into Geo pages, paying $GRT query fees in the process.
[2/5]
IPFS is used to store the content itself and thus resolves the content/proposals/votes connections without posting an overly large amount of information in the smart contract transactions.
