Stonewall's statement after today's judgment is very revealing. 1. It admits to "going above and beyond the legal minimum" for one group. But Public Sector Equality Duty means having "due regard" for ALL protected groups.
Thread. #AllisonBaileyWins stonewall.org.uk/about-us/news/…
2. "Our Diversity Champions programme supports employers to make their workplaces inclusive and supportive of LGBTQ+ employees."
'LGBTQ+' is not a protected characteristic under the Equality Act but employers are advised to be inclusive of an undefined 'Q+' group of people.
Likewise they extend the ban on conversion practices to protect "all LGBTQ+ people." What does this mean? Who does this group include? The proposed government ban on conversion practices never included 'Q+' people.
3. "Leaders within organisations are responsible for the organisational culture and the behaviour of their employees and workers. Stonewall’s resources, support and guidance is just one set of inputs they use to help them.."
The fact is that employers would HAVE to use input from other providers to balance Stonewall's one-sided view of Equality law and who it is meant to serve. But Stonewall presents their version as truth.
In other words: 1. We advise employers to prioritise one group above all others; including those not protected under the Equality Act ('Q+') above those who are (women; lesbian, gay & bi people, protected characteristics 'sex' & 'sexual orientation', not 'gender').
2. It's not our fault if your policies end up being discriminatory, we're just one 'input.' Does Stonewall admit anywhere in its Diversity Champions scheme that its advice is biased towards one group & employers would be well advised to also consult with other protected groups?

Here is the letter from Dr Hilary Cass to the NHS.
"The regional centres should be experienced providers of tertiary paediatric care to ensure a focus
on child health and development, with strong links to mental health services." cass.independent-review.uk/wp-content/upl…
"The centres should have an appropriate multi-professional workforce to enable them to manage
the holistic needs of this population"
"There should also be expertise in safeguarding, support of looked-after children and children who have experienced trauma."

"We do not fully understand the role of adolescent sex hormones in driving the development of both sexuality and gender identity through the early teen years"
"The commitment in the LGBT Action Plan is not for an inquiry into the number of natal girls being referred to the Tavistock – a Government Inquiry in a formalised process with witnesses etc."

"Rather, the commitment is to undertake research into the issues faced by natal girls who transition in their teenage years. The wording in the action plan is:"

We agree. Penny Mordaunt's support for self-ID was apparent in her Ministerial Foreword to the GRA consultation. Notice the framing and 'anchoring' bias - ie respondents are given the 'right' answer before filling in the consultation. #AnyButPenny assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/upl…
GRA reform is framed as stripping away the 'barriers that hold people back, to create equal opportunities.' Why is this necessary? Because 'Trans people continue to face significant barriers to full participation in public life.'
So 'This consultation seeks views on how the Government might make it easier for trans
people to achieve legal recognition.' Difficult to disagree with these aims, it's all wrapped up.

"It is of concern that in Bell v Tavistock [2020] the defendants from GIDS, to the surprise of the court, could give no evidence of ever considering even one of the children referred to the clinic as Gillick incompetent."
One thing we are concerned about in schools is when 'diversity' stokes 'division.'
The teaching of political and ideological views as fact is not the place of schools. This is not education, it is indoctrination. #edutwitter

When schools get adolescents fired up about a social justice issue - particularly one they have already heard a one-sided account of online and in the media - it sets pupils up as either the goodies or the baddies. Righteous anger then justifies bullying. transgendertrend.com/transgender-id…
