Greek civilization is considered the most intellectual in the world; it was here that palmistry, also known as chiromancy, grew & found favour among those who have given us many laws & philosophies that we use today, and whose works are taught in leading institutions.

The study of corpuscles was also taken up by Sir Charles Bell, who, in 1874, demonstrated that each corpuscle contained the end of a nerve fibre, and was in immediate connection with the brain.
#palmistry
Bell also demonstrated that every portion of the brain was in touch with the nerves of the hand and more particularly with the corpuscles found in the tips of the fingers & the lines of the palm.
#palmistry
The detection of criminals by examining their fingerprints is a standard practice used by the police of almost every country, and thousands of criminals have been identified and tracked down through such means.
#palmistry
It’s a well-known fact that if the skin is burned off the hands or removed by acid, within a short period of time the lines will reappear exactly as they were before, as will the ridges or ‘spirals’ in the skin of the inside tips of the fingers and thumb.
#palmistry
Both the hands should be examined together to see if the lines and marks on the two palms agree. Where they do, this adds greater certainty to whatever is indicated by the line or mark.
#palmistry
When something is marked on left hand but not on right, the tendency will exist in subject’s nature but never come to fruition. When the two hands are exactly alike, it denotes that the subject hasn't developed in any way from what heredity or nature has given him.
#palmistry
Remember that we use the left (analytical, logical, & conscious) side of brain more than we do the right (artistic, instinctive & subconscious) side. The nerves cross the body & those from the left hemisphere go to the right hand.
#palmistry
Consequently, it is this hand which denotes the developed or active brain; the left only gives the natural tendencies or inclinations.
#palmistry
Always bear this rule in mind, don't be misled by some “marvelously good line” that appears only on left hand. Such a mark will have no realization unless it also appears on the right.
Good palmistry means looking at both the hands to ..tips coming soon on palmistry

Why is Bhagwan Vishnu called Hari?

Harihi Om.

For many reasons; mainly is because He takes away (performs harana of) pains & sorrow.

He (Naaraayana) is called ‘Hari’ as he destroys sorrow.

-Parama Samhita, Adhyaaya 2, Mantra 99
#SanatanaDharma #SanatanDharma #Sanatani Image
Also because He is the destroyer of the devatas, as per a Smrti shloka quoted by Svaami Vijayeendra Teertha Shripaadagalu, in Shaiva-Sarvasva Khandanam of Nyaayamauktikamaala.

ब्रह्माणमिंद्रं रुद्रं च यमं वरुणमेव च ॥ ८६ ॥

निगृह्य हरते यस्मात्तस्माद्धरिरहोच्यते ।

Being the destroyer who destroys Brahmaa, Indra, Rudra, Yama & Varuna, he is known as ‘Hari’.

-Padma Puraana Uttara Khanda, Adhyaaya 226, Shloka 86

What is Shukra Niti and what to do on a Friday?

Shukracharya: A great knowledgeable person who was respected even by Devas and Saints. He was an expert in Political Science. He founded the Shukra Niti. In his niti he has laid down the following points:
#SanatanaDharma #hinduism https://t.co/syF74bOq87twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

One should never reveal certain things in front of others.

It’s great if you are loved and respected by all, but don’t show it off in front of others- doing so will lower your respect in the eyes of others
#SanatanaDharma #hinduism https://t.co/2pRf0avyqJtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
If you have to face insult at any point in your life, it’s best to keep it to yourself; telling that to everyone you know will make you feel insulted in front of others as well.

Tantra is an abstract religion, it doesn't have a clear definition. Different seekers define it differently, many not even consistent with each other. Tantra, though, is clearly recognized as being very different from the ancient Hindu Vedic tradition.
#SanatanaDharma #Hinduism twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
Before trying to delve into tantrism, it is important to understand that this is not a single coherent system. It is rather a tradition that gradually evolved from an accumulation of practices and rituals, in order to attain the grace of the divine.
#SanatanaDharma #Hinduism twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
The practitioner of tantra uses his own prana or divine energy in order to harness it to the universal prana, thereby attaining his goal. The goal in question could be either spiritual, material or both.

Tantra in Hinduism could be considered to be parallel to the Hindu Vedic tradition. Tantra contains written records of the Agama, which comes in four main parts, as follows:
#SanatanaDharma #Hinduism twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
Jnana or metaphysical knowledge
Yoga or meditative practices
Kriya or ritual practices
Charya or ethical and religious principles of conduct

Most of the staunch Hindu Vedic practitioners, however, consider the Tantras to be anti-Vedic in character and hence, altogether shun both the cult and the practitioners of the same.

Granthi is a Sanskrit term meaning "doubt" or "knot;" more specifically, it denotes "a difficult knot to untie."

Correspondence between Macrocosm and Microcosm
#spirituality #Cosmos twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
The universe consists of a Mahabrahmanda, or grand Cosmos, and of numerous Brihatbrahmanda, or macrocosms evolved from it. As is said by the Nirvana Tantra, all which is in the first is in the second.
#spirituality #Cosmos twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
In the latter are heavenly bodies and beings, which are microcosms reflecting on a minor scale the greater worlds which evolve them. "As above, so below." This mystical maxim of the West is stated in the Vishvasara Tantra as follows:
