In a 1995 ad for Laissez Faire City International Trust Ayn Rand wondered 'what would happen if an underdeveloped host country were to lease an area of 100 sqr miles to 1000 free market libertarians and give them a 50 year free reign to administer the area without Govt rule?'

Liz Truss cited “black-market buccaneers” as role models who managed to create “a lawless place” for free market fundamentalism to thrive. This, Truss and her co-authors arrogantly insisted, represented “the purest level of entrepreneurialism, untouched by law, regulation or tax”

Many people unaware of what charter cities are and often confuse them with UK Govt’s recent rollout of +10 ‘freeports’ around UK. Govt’s website has published x8 maps of the sites, the tiny areas marked red represent actual ports, blue zones surrounding them spanning up to 74km.

Brexit is revealing itself to be something far more insidious and threatening than ‘reclaiming sovereignty and taking back control’, it is more akin to a Libertarian Exit from democracy itself.

Singham's economic simulator models the impact of total deregulation to gain massive investment and commercial growth. This simulator is now a live experiment in corporate fascism without the informed consent of thousands of people whose lives will be turned upside down.

In order for these radical schemes to come to fruition, the libertarian right across the USA, Austria and Australia fomented Brexit and forced it to happen at any cost. This involved hundreds of right wing think tanks shoring up their funds, lobbying Govt via the revolving door.

The sheer magnitude of what is befalling the UK is a multi-pronged and sustained attack on every single aspect of Britain’s economic and political infrastructure, an enforced reset. This is the Tories Brexit 'once in a lifetime window of opportunity.

2007 CATO paper ’The Case for an Activist Judiciary to secure economic liberty’ advocates appointing right wing judges with lifetime tenure, a practice we are very likely to see imported into the UK’s judiciary system once those nasty EU regs are trashed by Truss or Sunak.

This means corporations get to do whatever the hell they want post Brexit. This lines up very neatly with Shanker Singham’s ‘enterprise cities’ project that can now finally be executed in as little as 6 months time as bidding for contracts have been completed by Michael Gove.
