1. I was sitting with a friend in bank. He is the deputy director of the branch. An old lady (Bas Bibi, a 63 year old women) entered his office and offered a card to my friend to check whether her retirement rights are added to her account. My friend checked it and said, “there
2. is no money in your account, your retirement payment isn’t added”. After hearing this, Bas Bibi was about to fell but sat on the couch. We all were looking at her while her tears were making routes on her face. I told her, “Mother, plz don’t cry”. She said, “I have promised my
3. daughter in law and sick daughter to get them fresh fruits and food items. Now, I can’t do it. What am I supposed to tell them. We haven’t eaten last night and didn’t have enough food for the past days. I can’t afford her medicine”. She wanted to continue but cry and tears
4. stopped her. My friends and I cried with her. The room was quite for almost 3 minutes. None talked.
I sent her a food package through @Aseelapp which she has received an hour ago. There are thousands like Bas Bibi sleeping hungry tonight along with their families. We all can
5. make a difference. I personally can’t afford, but I promise your money goes 100% to families like hers. #AfghanWomen are suffering in several ways. #Afghanistan

One year anniversary!
It started with a huge loss and ended with a huge loss for me. In btw I helped more than 450 families with food packages, few with medicine and other stuff. Just today, I provided meals to more than 350 people. Take part by donating: aseelapp.com/en_us/urgent-f…
Packing the food. In my neighborhood more than 200 houses are damaged. People are affected a lot. So much losses incurred. People need help not only with food items but in rebuilding their houses. I will do my part as long as I can. I need your contributions. #Afghanistan
Together with my team, we delivered food to families who were gravely impacted by the flood. I remain hopeful that with your contributions, I will be able to help them more and lessen their pain and grief. Plz donate and share the campaign link with anyone who can help.
Mehrafza, a 16 years old high school student, wanted to become a journalist. Her hopes are vanished. She says, “I am very hopeless. I had so many hopes, but now I feel my future is dark and uncertain. My rights as a human being are taken away.” #LetAfghanGirlsLearn#Afghanistan
Mehrafza has three more sisters who are also school students. Due to the ban on girls education, they cannot go to school and pursue their dreams. Her sisters are very concerned. Among them is a 21 year old who is blind. She used to go to school and learn skills.
Her blind sister is also staying at home. Their father sells fruits & vegetables on a cart in Kabul city. They are a family of 8 persons. The humanitarian crisis has struck them hard. Her father barely earns between 100-200 Afghanis. He has to feed the family, pay the rent,
Update about Hinna:
Henna is back to her home. I visited her last week. She was better than when I first saw her. Her surgery hasn’t been done yet, bec she isn’t ready for it. The doctors conducted check ups and provided her medicine for 6 months. She is taking the medicine.
She may go back to Pakistan in three months for surgery if she has good progress. If not, she will visit Pakistan after six months for check ups and possibility of the surgery. She is very grateful for the support, care and prayers of everyone involved.
She lives in a remote area in Kunar where phones do not work properly, but I manage to talk to her once a week. I send her fresh fruit, juice and other required things on weekly basis. Plz keep her in your prayers. What’s next with the money fundraised?
It was an honor collaborating with @idek2022@EmilyKennedy85@ASEELApp to feed 156 families in #Kunar#Afghanistan. Thank you everyone who contributed in anyway towards this. A big thanks 🙏🙏 to all the donors for their generous and kind donations.
The Feed 150 Families in Kunar fundraising campaign provided food packages to 36 widows and 111 Ultra-Poor Families in Kunar plus six more packages were given to families in distribution site. Overall 1094 individuals were supported of which more than 60% were children.
Here are more photos. Please support our other campaign and help more families during this dire situation. You can start your own campaign with @ASEELApp and support families in #Afghanistan

Dear Fellow Afghans!
I would like to establish a point here. Plz don’t ask anyone for sending you money directly. If you are someone who needs food bec you have lost your job or can’t find work or don’t afford food, request them to buy you a package through @ASEELApp or
Or @zamirfoundation
It’s absolutely unethical to ask someone to send you money directly. You need food, request them to order you a package and only if you know them, have worked with them or there is a prior connection. If you received one package, stop asking for more.
I would also like to recommend to DM me (DMs open 24/7 unless I get a job). I will make sure you get food package only if you are eligible. I can’t provide cash to you (I don’t have it).
Dear Twitter friends, if someone requests you for sending them money, best way is to block
The first package from the “Child and Family Relief Fund” delivered. Heartbreaking to know that recipient has a Masters Degree in International Relations & was a PHD Candidate (ruined dream). He served for years in ANDSF & has worked in Director level. Imagine ordinary #Afghans
In total six packages were delivered to vulnerable families in Kabul. It’s family received Food Package and a child relief package. The family had a baby girl only 4 months old. She is sick and the family could either afford her medicine or their food. Tough choice, right?
“Hello, I am a breadwinner for a family of eight. Before the Taliban came, I was a simple worker. I was providing for myself. I have been unemployed for six months. I went to aid companies. No one provided assistance
I want you to support me if it is a loaf of bread”
