The first package from the “Child and Family Relief Fund” delivered. Heartbreaking to know that recipient has a Masters Degree in International Relations & was a PHD Candidate (ruined dream). He served for years in ANDSF & has worked in Director level. Imagine ordinary #Afghans
In total six packages were delivered to vulnerable families in Kabul. It’s family received Food Package and a child relief package. The family had a baby girl only 4 months old. She is sick and the family could either afford her medicine or their food. Tough choice, right?

Toplet bombs are still the main reason why the Light forces can not intervene directly in the situation on the surface of the planet. Image
The Light forces are now clearing the quantum and subquantum anomaly on the higher mental plane with maximum possible speed and as soon as that is done, they will start clearing the subquantum anomaly on the physical plane, which is the riskiest part of the whole operation.
The most critical timeframe is between now and April 24th.
Accidentally or not so accidentally the cutoff date of April 24th coincides with the end of Kala Sarpa Dosha, a very challenging period in Vedic Jyotish astrology, which ends on April 22:…

1. Save the life of a small girl!
A father of ten children (all females) is about to sell his daughter to save the family from starvation and provide medicine to his other daughter. DM me if you want to help this family. I am not talking about one food package, his need is more.
2. He is a baker and used to bake biscuits and cakes before the fall of the government. His employer (shop) had to let him go because the business wasn’t going well. Now, he can’t find work to support his family. Can we provide him tools to survive?
3. A generous donation can enable him bake & sell and feed his family. Plz DM me for details and if you would like to speak with the family, I can arrange that as well. If you wish to donate, all details about food provision and other arrangements will be provided.

The #Taliban Interior Ministry in a letter, instructed Afghanistan border police, to #prevent_the_evacuation of Afghan citizens by foreign countries.
The ministry's letter states that border control officials are obliged to prevent evacuation operations by the US& NATO countries. Image
When #Taliban's spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid was asked about #evacuation & specifically the above mentioned letter, he said that "we have banned the evacuation process until make sure that what fate awaits #Afghans who are already evacuated. Over 5,000 evacuated Afghans are ...

We know that passing an Afghan Adjustment Act is the best way to advocate for our new #Afghan neighbors that have arrived in the United States…but what IS the Afghan Adjustment Act exactly??

Following the withdrawal from #Afghanistan, 10s of thousands of at-risk #Afghans were evacuated to the U.S. through humanitarian parole. Those individuals must now pursue a more permanent status: either asylum or #SIV status, though both are currently extremely backlogged.
The AAA would allow certain #Afghan evacuees to apply for permanent status after one year of being paroled into the country. It relieves the immediate burden on the #SIV process (18,000 case backlog) and asylum process (1 million case backlog) and prevents #Afghans paroled…

This is an interesting case what Dr Ambedkar writes relating the Indian Muslims of 1920s with #thirdbattleofpanipat & their call for #fourthBattleOfPanipat

'In 1926 there arose a controversy as to who really won the third battle of Panipat, fought in 1761.
It was contended for the Muslims that it was a great victory for them because #AhmadShahAbdali had 1 lakh of soldiers while the Marathas had 4-6 lakhs. The Hindus replied that it was a victory to them—a victory to [the] vanquished—because it stemmed the tide of Muslim invasions.
The Muslims were not prepared to admit defeat at the hands of Hindus, and claimed that they will always prove superior to the Hindus. To prove the eternal superiority of Muslims over Hindus, it was proposed by one Maulana Akbar Shah Khan

Apart from the submarines, here are a few other areas where Australia, under Morrison, has not gone through with their obligations to be ethical and lawful:

We abandoned our ‘staunch Afghan allies’ in their hour of need and wouldn’t even offer them protection visas…

By my not holding ‘war crimes trials’, when the evidence suggests we should, while being a signature to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, we broke our agreement to that body, and the civilians we murdered in Afghanistan
By not honouring our commitments to the various environmental agreements such as ‘Kyoto’ and ‘Paris’ we have failed in our duty to be a leader of ‘climate policy and innovation’ rather than just a reluctant (greedy) follower.

In #Afghanistan after pol leaders fled & soldiers surrendered, #Taliban have talked about an inclusive national #army curently being reorganised. But what hardware/capabilities will they have

They have
-Millions of rounds of ammo
-10s of thousands of guns, radios other hardware
-1000s of MRAPs & Humvees
-Dozens of aircraft
-100s of technicians/operators

@AJEnglish had exclusive access to what #Taliban says is the beginning of its own #AirForce
Military analysts say much of the estimated $88 BILLION firepower built by US in its 20-yr #Afghan war is either obsolete/inoperable. The coalition destroyed large amounts of hardware on its way out.

Now some being rebuilt from scrap and spares.

So, it was "awful" of us to push education for women in #Afghanistan. We should have sought the elimination of the Taliban & the terrorists, and the establishment of a society the #Afghans would support. The results couldn't have been worse for women than Young's approach.
In the end, this comes back to the different approaches I mentioned in the first tweet of my response: 'Ought' implies 'can' on my part, something else on Young's part.
Over 6,000 U.S. service people died in the Afghan debacle, and perhaps as many as 150,000 #Afghanis. Trillions of dollars have been wasted. Perhaps I misread her, but Young doesn't seem to give a shit. The U.S. tried, and failure and its costs are irrelevant. So is the prospect

#Britain has stopped evacuating #Afghans and is now moving to wind down its military presence in Kabul.
The #ISKP attack yesterday was the most lethal attack on #US troops in Afghanistan in a decade, and in 2011 the US was engaged in offensive operations - something that could be called "a war" - which it has not been since 2014.
The casualty figures for the US security presence low, and the benefit - providing key capacities that sustained the Afghan state, which bore the brunt of the fight to keep the jihadists at bay - was very significant. All lost now, for no reason.

#Biden's decision to stick to the Aug 31 deadline is bold -- it raises 2 key risks:

1) We'll be leaving people behind, certainly 1,000s of #Afghans & quite likely, a few Americans in hard-to-reach spots.

2) Other G7/NATO states have been rebuffed again by #Biden -- more anger.
"#Biden's decision to pull out troops was backed by most Americans, 53%-38%. But almost two-thirds, 62%, disapproved of the way his administration has handled that withdrawal."

Overall approval rating now 41%.

Today is the day the #US will decide if it is going to evacuate everyone, or stick to #Biden's self-imposed deadline in #Afghanistan.
This messaging from the State Department about the #Taliban having pledged to allow #Afghans who helped us leave the country even after the #US military departs is either criminally naïve or a horribly cynical way of consigning thousands of people to death
The Pentagon messaging matches up with that of the State Department: very much looks like the #US is preparing the ground to leave #Afghans it owes a duty to behind, but to pretend there's some kind of process or agreement to get them out

There's lots of first-hand accounts of this from recent days -- intensifying over time. For now, the window's closing/closed for #Afghans, as the U.S. & others prioritize their citizens' evacuation.

This was all inevitable given the tight timeline, and it'll worsen too.
More than any other aspect of the #Afghanistan withdrawal, this is what should have been 100% avoidable.

And as @RepAdamSchiff has just stated, the IC *did* warn of a swift #Taliban victory -- this was *not* an intelligence failure, it was a political/decision-making one.
@RepAdamSchiff The #Taliban aren't stupid; they know the U.S. (& #NATO allies) are under pressure -- #Taliban fighters have significantly increased their intimidation of Afghans outside #HKIA - countless reports of beating, whipping & even gunfire.

And they're blocking known meeting points.

I am going to share some findings of @NamaKadrie about the history of the Hazaras in this thread. This may help you in understanding the current situation in Afghanistan a bit better.
1. "In analysing the history of #Afghanistan, scholars and historians often assessed the independence and autonomy of a given region based on their ability to resist an imposition of tax. Paying levies was therefore the way power-relations and supremacy was understood.
2. "In this sense, the #Hazarajat as a whole was what scholars often deemed as a “semi-independent” region. By 1891, aside from #Uruzgan, every other region (14 districts) of the #Hazarajat paid taxes to Abdur Rahman Khan.
