Däremot ser vi tydliga tecken på att ryssarna drar sig tillbaka till bättre försvarsställningar. Man lämnar helt enkelt frivilligt försvarsställningar på de öppna markerna och drar sig in mot något samhälle

Med andra ord så håller man på och överger offensivstrategin. En annan orsak till detta är också att ryssarna omfördelar sina resurser och Kherson Oblast är mera viktigt för dem, varvid östfronten får mindre av allt.
