via @nytimes. Good job @charlie_savage 1/ There is no DIJ rule not to continue investigations. Only informal political rule at DOJ to take no official action likely to go public close that could affect election. (Even “60” days is not clear rule.” nytimes.com/2022/09/04/us/…
2/ But anyone who still tries to defend on any basis what @Comey did doesn’t know or care about facts. Someone like @Comey or his minions who give false narrative defense.
3/ Comey had no right ever - ever - to hold press conference or send out letter to congress without AG or DAG permission. Period. No answer to that 100% rule.
4/ offering his public opinion of evidence without an indictment - as in @HillaryClinton was “extremely careless” on emails was and remains a firing offense.
5/ apart from Comey being wrong on the faces - he finally was forced to admit at congressional hearing in Sept 2016 not one of 33,000 @HillaryClinton emails was properly labeled “classified” at any level. Not one
6/ the only one out of 33,000 he pointed to has “confidential”
in the middle of a para. @Comey admitted to Pa Rep. Matt in public hearing that was not properly labeled.
7/on Oct 31, 2016, when Comey letter went public, @HillaryClinton wd’ve won big. See 538: fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-c…
No doubt she wd’ve won Pa, Wisc, and Mich and election (gap in all 3 was 14k/14m votes)=election
8/ Finally time for mainstream media to stop comparing @HillaryClinton emails handling with Trump taking conspicuously labeled top secret docs to Mar a Lago. No comparison at all. Those are the facts.

1) Explaining the negotiations to restart baseball-“...owners are exaggerating their claims about lost revenue because their projections don’t include all revenue sources. They refuse to open books...to prove those claims.” Support @MLB_PLAYERS washingtonpost.com/sports/2020/06…
2) Owners can’t have it both ways. You refuse transparency, yet repudiate deal made in March to pay players pro-rata reductions. I trust fairness of @Max_Scherzer and @whatwouldDOOdo. And @MLB_PLAYERS. So do most fans. Owners—don’t forget ‘94! Owners suffered more than players.
This reaction proves people on Twitter don’t read. The column I wrote specifically defends Hunter Biden and challenges mainstream media to remind all there are no facts suggesting any wrongdoing. It is crazy that so many people posted and never actually read what I wrote.
1 of 2: 1) headline of my piece today in The Hill should have read: “No wrongdoing by Hunter Biden - Trump and Giuliani live on Lies and innuendo, Not Facts.”
@MichaelCohen212 will soon share with #America what he told Mueller and #Congress. For now, remember this...#collusion to lie or to influence others to lie, while threatening those who dare to tell the #truth during an investigation, is called #ObstructionOfJustice. More to come!

A few slides I am using on the road as I talk about my new book “The Unmaking of the President 2016: How FBI Director James Comey Cost Hillary Clinton the Presidency"
How the actions of James Comey and the FBI in the months leading up to the 2016 election constitute an alien intervention with a free, fair, and uncorrupt election and thus prove that Trump’s election was illegitimate. 1/
Thus, his constitutional abuse of power is grounds for immediate initiation of an impeachment investigation and possible removal from office under the 25th amendment due to observable mental impairments. 2/
