Alberta Premier Jason Kenney calls Danielle Smith's Alberta sovereignty bill "cockamamie" and a "frontal attack on the rule of law" that would turn Alberta into a "banana republic".
Adds it would be the "no more pipelines law" - because then BC can ignore federal jurisdiction.
Kenney says he criticized the proposal a year ago and that this isn't about the leadership race.
Says he won't "become spineless and silent" over a policy he claims attacks Alberta's economy.
Kenney asked about Danielle Smith's specific statements about the Sovereignty Act.
Says he is not responding to those comments, and he isn't even paying attention to what leadership candidates are saying.
But adds original Sovereignty Act proposal is "catastrophically stupid."
