Delhi's Saket court will hear a case pertaining to a plea seeking restoration of 27 Hindu and Jain temples inside the historical Qutub Minar complex.

Applicant: I'm lawful owner of this property right from that. In 1947 I was 3 years old. I was a minor child. After the government former in 1947, it encroachment on the area without considering my right.

Court: question is not about your Ownership. Lis before the court is not about deciding the ownership of the property.

Maan leta hoon you are the owner of this land. But how you are necessary to decide the lis?

Applicant: any decision will affect my rights.

Court: Let's presume that the government encroached the land but you have to get yours right settled in the court. This is not the suit for that.

This is a case between the appellate and the respondents.

Applicant: i have approached court with clean hands. After becoming the party i may bring any material to court.

Appellant contests applicant's arguments: He is claiming ownership after 102 years. He must be an adult in 60s, 70s. Why didn't he approach before.

Appellant has sought right to worship. There is no question of possession. The value of the suit property is more than Rs 2 crore so this is not the correct territorial jurisdiction for him (applicant) to approach anyways.

Archeological Survey of India counsel: The applicant has no locus standi. He has not made any submission saying he has right to be impleaded by relying on the judgement which was passed previously by the civil court (under challenge before the present judge). He was not a party.

Applicant: After inheritance I was only a child. When I grew up i moved Allahabad HC as well. When I learnt i have a property in Delhi, i wrote to the governor. I was told it's south district.. there are unauthorised colonies.
