#Breaking Delhi HC directs Zee News, journalist Sudhir Chaudhary to respond to @Shehla_Rashid petition seeking apology from them for airing a news broadcast alleging that she is involved in 'terror funding' and is 'anti-national'.

@Shehla_Rashid has sought modification of the NBDA order that had directed Zee News to take down the broadcast.
She has demanded that an 'unequivocal apology' should be aired at prime-time to mitigate the damage and prejudice caused to her dignity.

Zee news had aired an interview with Rashid's father, to whom she and her mother are estranged, in November 2020 where insinuations were allegedly made against her.
In April this year, News Broadcasters and Digital Association (NBDA)passed an order directing Zee to take down the broadcast from all platforms.
NBDA has informed the court that the broadcast has been taken down.
