I usually agree with much of what #DavidAaronovitch says in his Briefing Room on BBC Radio 4, but not in his latest one on the UK's presumed need for "economic growth".

David is also keen on UK "population growth" through immigration, criticism of which he deems to be RACIST.
I share most of David's liberal views, but not those regarding economic & population growth, which I believe to be insane, i.e. genocidal.

I attempted to engage with him on these issues, but he simply dismissed me as a RACIST.
If I'm right about David's attitude to economic & population growth being genocidal, which I'm pretty sure I am, it is of no small consequence, because his views are pretty much those of Britain's & the West's ruling elites, in journalism, politics & academia.
Academia, or rather, social science academia, is absolutely central, because it is here that our journalists & politicians obtain their university education & where they seek advice & guidance throughout their careers.
It would be great if David were to invite me into his Briefing Room to discuss these issues, but he won't, because, as he has told me, he thinks my "whole schtick is racist".

So, it looks like self-genocide it is going to be.

This is bizarre, & quite Orwellian that so little is made of it in the media, by politicians or academics, & not just in America, but everywhere in the West.

Why? because they are all terrified of being called RACIST, like the authorities in Telford & other English towns.
Anti-racist ideology has turned the West into an Orwellian nightmare.

If we don't get a grip on this soon, it will destroy our civilisation as surely as climate change will if we fail to get a grip on that too.

Both represent failure on the part of the social sciences.

Societies have always been dominated by their elites via a strategy of divide & rule, & although they pretend to be, Western "democracies" are no different. It is just more subtle than in earlier times & in non-democratic countries.

Allow me to explain HOW we're divided & ruled:
I think it was #WinstonChurchill who famously said that British democracy was deeply flawed, but better than any other system yet devised, or words to that effect.

I agree with him, but while he saw it as a reason for maintaining the status quo, I do not.
Churchill wanted to maintain the status quo because it served him personally extremely well, as it does many others.

However, the status quo is inherently unjust, inhuman & - most importantly - unsustainable on our finite, vulnerable & overpopulated planet, SpaceshipEarth.

Colin & others are doing great work in exposing the truth behind gender ideology, but there is another ideology, that of post-racial multiculturalism, DIVERSITY, Inclusion & AntiRacism, which already dominates the West & urgently also needs to be exposed for what it is.
Like gender ideology, it is Orwellian & moral-supremacist, going to the opposite extremes of Nazi ideology of racial purity & supremacy, on which it bases its spurious claims to moral authority & the power that comes with it:

It is based on a misconceived, #NeverAgain, response to the evils of Nazism & its antisemitism, all aspects of which it demonises, rather than trying to understand.

It represents a massive failure of social science academia going back to the end of WW2.

Indeed it is, & although Douglas comes closer to naming the cause than any other mainstream journalist, he is still beating around the bush of the Orwellian IDEOLOGY of post-racial multiculturalism, DIVERSITY, Inclusion & AntiRacism.
It is this ideological commitment to a multi-racial & multicultural society (that has been imposed on Britain & most other western "democracies" by their political, academic & media elites by demonising all opposition to it as RACIST) that is the real cause of this insanity.
Multi-racial & multicultural societies that have been created largely artificially through mass immigration from other continents of people of different race & culture from our own, in pathological overreaction to the evils of Nazism.

This is one of the truest of truisms, & why every civilisation we know of has fallen. It is why our own civilisation is on course to fall.

We are supposed to be united by shared "national identity", but this is clearly NOT the case.
In order to achieve genuine unity in securing our survival & well-being on this, our finite, vulnerable & overpopulated planet, #SpaceshipEarth, we must first recognise & understand our enslavement to #BigBro & #TheMatrix of state & capital.

Most of us in the West recognise the criminal insanity of Putin's war against Ukraine & the lies he uses to justify it, but we shouldn't think ourselves immune to the same kind of madness, because we are not.
The Wests failure to instigate a #SustainabilityRevolution, the existential need for which has been apparent to many of us since the early 1970s, is also criminally insane. Only, we don't have a single Putin figure to blame. The blame is more collective, but focused on academia.
Why academia?

Because we look to academics as authorities in their supposed areas of expertise.

We expect social scientists to be authorities on understanding society, the state, & civilisation, but in truth they are as ignorant as medieval astronomers were of the heavens.
