#Breaking [Delhi riots conspiracy case] Delhi High Court to pronounce tomorrow its judgement in bail appeal of former JNU student Umar Khalid.

The judgement will be pronounced by a Division Bench of Justices Siddharth Mridul and Rajnish Bhatnagar.

Khalid was arrested by Delhi Police in September 2020 and charged with criminal conspiracy, rioting, unlawful assembly as well as several sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
He has remained in jail since then.

The trial court had rejected his bail earlier this month.
After hearing arguments for over 20 days, the Hc reserved its verdict on September 9.

The HC agrees with the trial court's finding that there are some inconsistencies in the statements of some protected witnesses.
But the trial court rightly held that a finding finding has to be given on a cumulative reading of statements of all the witnesses, the HC court said.
