What does the yantra symbolise? What is the meaning of circles, triangles, square, number etc in yantra? How can we invoke yantra?

Yantra literally means a machine. Which consists mostly of geometrical shapes, generates in general Prana the life force.

Yantra (यन्त्र) (Sanskrit) (machine, contraption) is a mystical diagram, mainly from Indian Tantric. They are used for worship of deities in temples or homes; as an aid in meditation; for benefits given by their supposed occult powers based on Hindu astrology & tantric texts. Image
Even Buddhist use, Yantra, they call it Mandala.

The Geometrical shapes and their meanings.

Most common geometrical shapes are:

Triangles
Circles
Square
Pentagram
Hexagons
Octagons
Lotus petals
#Hinduism
#dhanteraswishes Image
The yantra typically has several geometric shapes radiating concentrically from the center, including triangles, circles, hexagons, octagons, and symbolic lotus petals.

We have Five basic elements and their corresponding Five shapes.

Triangles
We have two types of Triangles used widely in Yantras.

Downward Pointing Triangle
Upward Pointing Triangle
Downward pointing one corresponds to Water Element.
Upward pointing corresponds to Fire Element.
#Hinduism
#dhanteraswishes Image
Downward pointing triangles represent feminine aspect of God or Shakti, upward pointing triangles represent masculine aspect such as Shiva.

Circles
In general, Bindu and Air Element is represented by Circle.

Bindu

The central point of traditional yantras have a bindu or point, which represents the main deity associated with the yantra.
#Hinduism
#dhanterasspecial Image
The retinue of the deity is often represented in the geometric parts around the center. The bindu in a yantra may be represented by a dot or small circle, or may remain invisible. It represents the point from which all of creation emanates.

#dhanterasspecial Image
Circle

Many mandalas have 3 concentric circles in center, representing manifestation.

Square
Square shape represents Earth Element.

Many have an outer square or nested squares, representing earth & four directions. Often they include sacred doorways on each side of square. Image
Pentagram

Yantras infrequently use a pentagram. Some yantras of Guhyakali have a pentagram, due to number five being associated with Kali.

Hexagram
Fused shape of upper pointing triangle & lower pointing triangle represents space or Akash element.
#Hinduism

Hexagram

Hexagrams as shown in yantras are two equilateral triangles intertwined, representing the union of male and female aspects of divinity, or Shiva & Shakti.

Octagon

Octagons are also used in yantras, where they represent the eight directions.

Lotus
Lotus symbol in general purifies energy generated by Yantra.

Mandalas & yantras often include lotus petals, which represent purity & transcendence. 8-petaled lotuses are common, but lotuses in yantras can include 2, 4, 8, 10, 12, 16, 24, 32, 100, 1000 or more petals. Image
In general we have two types of Lotus Petals.

Inward oriented
Outward oriented

According to the orientation of the lotus petals the energy traverses inward
or outward.

T" shaped structure

In general a Yantra has “T” Shaped structure at four sides.

Actually T shaped structure maintains the energy and multiplies the energy.
#Hinduism
#DhanterasCelebration Image
That's why we have 1000 pillared Mandapam or hall as well as 16 pillared Mandapam or halls where upon the energies are multiplied according to the number of pillars used as well as the multiplied energies are intact maintained.
#Hinduism
#dhanterasspecial Image
Many Indian temples last over 1000 yrs because of this perseverance of energy.

Whereas modern buildings mostly last 100 to 200 yrs only.

Most of ancient Indian temples have a copper Yantra consecrated under the main deity.

What is Shukra Niti and what to do on a Friday?

Shukracharya: A great knowledgeable person who was respected even by Devas and Saints. He was an expert in Political Science. He founded the Shukra Niti. In his niti he has laid down the following points:
#SanatanaDharma #hinduism https://t.co/syF74bOq87twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

One should never reveal certain things in front of others.

It’s great if you are loved and respected by all, but don’t show it off in front of others- doing so will lower your respect in the eyes of others
#SanatanaDharma #hinduism https://t.co/2pRf0avyqJtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
If you have to face insult at any point in your life, it’s best to keep it to yourself; telling that to everyone you know will make you feel insulted in front of others as well.

Tantra is an abstract religion, it doesn't have a clear definition. Different seekers define it differently, many not even consistent with each other. Tantra, though, is clearly recognized as being very different from the ancient Hindu Vedic tradition.
#SanatanaDharma #Hinduism twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
Before trying to delve into tantrism, it is important to understand that this is not a single coherent system. It is rather a tradition that gradually evolved from an accumulation of practices and rituals, in order to attain the grace of the divine.
#SanatanaDharma #Hinduism twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
The practitioner of tantra uses his own prana or divine energy in order to harness it to the universal prana, thereby attaining his goal. The goal in question could be either spiritual, material or both.

Tantra in Hinduism could be considered to be parallel to the Hindu Vedic tradition. Tantra contains written records of the Agama, which comes in four main parts, as follows:
#SanatanaDharma #Hinduism twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
Jnana or metaphysical knowledge
Yoga or meditative practices
Kriya or ritual practices
Charya or ethical and religious principles of conduct
#SanatanaDharma #Hinduism ImageImage
Most of the staunch Hindu Vedic practitioners, however, consider the Tantras to be anti-Vedic in character and hence, altogether shun both the cult and the practitioners of the same.

Granthi is a Sanskrit term meaning "doubt" or "knot;" more specifically, it denotes "a difficult knot to untie."
#kundalini #yoga twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
The term is found in yogic literature and refers to knotted areas of energy, which can block the flow of prana in the body.

Correspondence between Macrocosm and Microcosm
#spirituality #Cosmos twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
The universe consists of a Mahabrahmanda, or grand Cosmos, and of numerous Brihatbrahmanda, or macrocosms evolved from it. As is said by the Nirvana Tantra, all which is in the first is in the second.
#spirituality #Cosmos twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
In the latter are heavenly bodies and beings, which are microcosms reflecting on a minor scale the greater worlds which evolve them. "As above, so below." This mystical maxim of the West is stated in the Vishvasara Tantra as follows:
