Here in the technical summary @IPCC_CH WG3 report from this April, signed off by all world governments, is the plain truth that meeting even the 2C climate target means the majority of fossil fuel reserves become stranded assets #CarbonBubble

The recently published "Global Registry of Fossil Fuels" by @GlobalEnergyMon @CarbonBubble "shows that producing & combusting the world’s reserves would yield over 3.5 trillion tons of ghg emissions, over 7 times the remaining carbon budget for 1.5C" !!!

@antonioguterres What makes @bbcnickrobinson's comments so reprehensible, is not only that he's flat wrong, but he's heaping scorn & ridicule onto a young protestor fighting for her future based on sound science! It's a form of psychological abuse that @BlancheVerlie labels #GreenhouseGaslighting

What an epic betrayal & deep moral injury!

It's this refusal of governments, corporations & media to take the threat seriously that leads young people to feel such distress & resort to disruption in their desperate attempt to save their futures!
