The two-year-long costly Northern Conflict in Etiopia is set to come to an end today, November 2, 2022, with the conclusion of 8 consecutive days of negotiation which asserts the territorial sovereignty, territorial integrity, and lasting peace for the nation- according to (1/n)

It is reported that the dialogue has successfully concluded with an outcome that respects the national interest in a manner that does not permit foreign interference (2/n)
According to the agreement, the key agenda issues are follows
1. The TPLF agrees to completely disarm. According to the agreement, within thirty days from today (November 2), the TPLF will completely disarm. (3/n)
To implement this decision, the top military leaders of the two sides will hold a joint press briefing, at a convenient place within 24 hours (4/n)
2. Within five days of the signing of the agreement, the military leaders of the two parties will jointly draw up a detailed process of disarmament phases and start the implementation work; (5/n)
3. Within ten days of the meeting of the senior military officers of the two parties, the TPLF will hand over all heavy weaponry to the National Defense Forces; (6/n)
4. Within seven days of the signing of this agreement, the Federal Government will take responsibility/ enter Mekelle and disarm armed entities and collect weaponry in and around the city that has wreaked havoc; (7/n)
5. Within a few short days, the current organizational structure of the TPLF will be dissolved and an interim administration led by the Federal Government will be established. (8/n)
As necessary, the interim administration will include representatives of Tigray's people. However, this will be done in a way that ensures the rule of law; (9/n)
6. The Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) will be deployed on all national borders with neighboring countries to ensure their security and peace. The TPLF accepts the mandate of Ethiopia’s National Defense Forces to ensure law and order in any area of the Tigray region (10/
