#nocode opportunity alert 🚨. 79,000 US organizations use Microsoft Access as their business data or operations management software in 2022. 82% of which are SMEs.
Here is how and why nocoders can make money helping these businesses modernize their internal apps:
Similar to this era of no-code, the late 90s and early 2000s saw a wave of IT consultants and owners building custom internal apps for businesses with little to no code with Access. In 2022, Access apps have the following limitations that modern nocode apps don't:
1. ☁️Not web based, and instead siloed on a desktop environment. As a result, customers or remote employees to access data or provide it (via forms) would be a security no no or require an intricate network setup.
Programmatic SEO websites are a low-cost online business anyone can start #nocode. I built one for craft beer breweries that uses crowdsourced data to generate content: breweriesnearby.com.
Here are the tools I used to build this 👇
1. Webflow - to automatically generate pages from cms data and templates. Many other tools, like Softr, could do the trick, but I am using Webflow because of it's built-in technical SEO and design flexibility.
2. Airtable - as a database and backend. I am using automations to get past some of Airtables missing relational database capabilities (joins, sumifs, etc.)
