In 2015, 'Shraddha murder case' accused #AftabAminPoonawala targeted the BJP with a 'dubious claim' that one of its party workers supposedly dressed up in a burqa and tried to throw beef inside a temple.

At that time, the matter was reported by India news. However, they failed to conclude whether the claim was true or fake.
It said that the images were going viral on Facebook, based on a tweet (that was deleted at the time of reporting).
It noted, "Alt News could not find a single conclusive news report of the incident. The claim which had circulated back then- that the person is a RSS member, could not be verified."

But this did not stop #AftabAminPoonawala from sharing this unverified news in 2015.
After all, such dubious claims are often shared based on one's pre-conceived beliefs.
A quick analysis of his SM activity shows that he had all the traits of an average pseudo liberal.

In March 2016, Aftab was seen trying to trick Hindus into guilt for ‘wasting water’ on Holi.
Although ‘World Water Day’ is observed on March 22, he deliberately shared a post about ‘water scarcity’ on March 24 (coinciding with the Holi festivities of that year).

In October 2015, he shared a post wherein a child was seen holding a poster that read, “This Diwali burst your ego, not crackers.”
#AftabAminPoonawala had exclusively confined his virtue signalling to Hindu festivals.

The murder accused did not leave any opportunity to pretend as a ‘humanist’ on social media.
Be it his token support for LGBTQ+ or ‘women’s rights activism’, Aftab did it all.

On October 3, 2016, the murder accused shared a Buzzfeed article, which taught ways to chop fruits and vegetables like a professional chef.
Just 6 years later, he used the same skills to slaughter his live-in partner.
In a big blow to Bengali culture & heritage, a section of the ancestral home of #RabindranathTagore (also called Jorasanko Thakurbari) has been converted into the office of Trinamool Shikshabandhu Samiti.
Details: (1/n)
The Maharshi Bhawan of the heritage building, where Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay (writer of #VandeMataram) allegedly met Tagore for the first time, has been remodelled.

The walls of the Maharshi Bhawan, which has been witness to the Bengali renaissance, have been painted green in colour.
The shade of doors and window panes, not to forget the flooring, has also been tampered with by the worker’s wing of the ruling party.

Coimbatore, known for its textile mills & automobile industry, has recently been under the spotlight over a blast that took place in the vicinity of Kottai Easwaran Temple.
In this thread, I will draw the timeline of the events and probe into the terror plot. (1/n)
@Saffron_Sn There is a history to it. Let me show you
@Saffron_Sn#Context: There is a womyn named Vidyut who morphed her picture into the disgusting 'Sulli Deals' app to show solidarity with Muslim women. Wtf
She also used to sell oppression soaps (delusional LW theatrics). Vidyut had also sexually objectified women who support PM Modi.
@Saffron_Sn After this womyn tried to pull off the 'Sulli Deals' theatrics, she was lambasted by Suchitra and Sidrah. Sanjukta came out in defence of Vidyut, following which Suchitra asked her to shut up
This has become the bone of contention between the two since January this year.
Rana Ayyub has come up with a new propaganda piece in @washingtonpost wherein she lamented the positive outlook of global powers towards India.
She resorted to lies, half-truths, and surmises and also pleaded with other nations to act against the Indian govt.
My rebuttal: (1/n)
First, she raked up the ‘Karnataka hijab row’ in the hopes of making international readers, who are increasingly concerned about the killings of women in Iran over mandatory hijab, sympathetic to the cause.
She then made a brief reference to the recent split SC verdict on the Karnataka Hijab row, with the false claim that one of the judges ruled about the non-essentiality of hijab in Islam.
In reality, none of the judges decided whether or not hijab was an essential practice. (3/n)
