One thing about Russian trolls, tankies and the hard parts of both Left and Right ideologies is that they are literally stuck on stupid. Encountered a new one yesterday, minor account with few followers but he repeated an oft used reasoning
1. it didn't happen
2. But if it did happen it wasn't a war crime
3. if it was a war crime it was the soldiers fault
4. If it was a war crime it was the unit's fault
5. If it was a war crime its not genocide
6. if it is genocide its not Putin's/Russia's fault
7. You hate Russia
The crime of genocide is listed here ohchr.org/en/instruments…
lets go through the crimes with article and sub part examples. Article 1: Contracting Parties. Russia as the successor state to the USSR was an original signatory to the convention and has been a high contracting party since December 1949. She is bound by the convention.
Article II (a) Killing members of the group. Obviously, this does not include soldiers but does include all classes of protected persons. My example here is the bombing of the Mariupol Theater cnn.com/2022/03/16/eur…
Article II (b) causing serious bodily or mental harm. How to quantify that? Well, ask yourself what kind of mental trauma would you suffer if you had to suddenly run for your life? theguardian.com/world/2022/mar…
Article II (c) (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; What effect do you think the destruction of civil infrastructure like power plants heading into winter is going to do? Blowing dams,
, targeting hospitals and schools? marketwatch.com/story/russian-…
Article II (d) deals with people under the direct control of a government and we don't have enough information yet. This could be a maybe as more information is developed.
Article II (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group. ibtimes.com/un-evidence-ru…
Article III lays out what acts are punishable

(a) Genocide;

(b) Conspiracy to commit genocide;

(c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide;

(d) Attempt to commit genocide;

(e) Complicity in genocide.
Given the articles in II require state actions then III (a) (b), (d) and (e) are de jure facts. So I want to concentrate on (c) direct and public incitement to commit genocide. If you don't follow @JuliaDavisNews go give her a follow and watch her translations with an eye towards
Article III (c) they don't hide it. BTW, nuclear threats fall under (c) as well. Any attempts to deny what Russia is doing are dishonest attempts to make the aggressor look like the victim. #NFAO does not support #Ukraine because we like Nazis, but because we oppose the
Russian version of naziism set loose upon the world. We do not love war, but realize that the only end to the genocide is for the full defeat of Russia and ejection from every inch of Ukrainian soil. We are not Russophobic in the way Southern Whites were racist against blacks,
rather we recognize Russia's history as the world's oldest, biggest and most brutal colonial empire still existing with a history of genocide and aggression. We see clearly that very few Russian's have raised a voice to oppose Russian imperialism, colonialism or genocide.
I have things other than writing these essays and tagging @JohnBoozman, @SenTomCotton, and @RepFrenchHill I could be doing. How many different ways can I ask you to donate to @MriyaAid, @U24_gov_ua, @3xR_team or whatever @Teoyaomiquu is currently fund raising for. I have now
now asked my readers to listen in on, and follow the @MriyaReport well over 200 consecutive times. I do these things, giving up hundreds of hours of my life because what Russia is doing is a genocide. Russia is not a victim but #RussiaisATerroistState Sadly, with the liberation
of Kherson we will see more evidence of genocide in the coming days.Its why Western support is so vital. Millions remain trapped under the Russian heel. Until Ukraine Wins On Ukraine's Terms: Slava Ukraini! #Russiaislosing #UkraineWillWin #ukrainecounteroffensive #UkrainianArmy
@mfa_russia <--- still losing and no one at the G20 likes you, not even China.

Suddenly all these GOP'ers are calling for an audit of US aid to Ukraine. It's like they got marching orders. Now I don't think those orders came from Russia. Unlike the wiggidity wackity libs I remember that Trump was actually really severe on Putin. Toughest pre-Feb 24th
sanctions, blocking Nordstream 2, hitting Assad twice despite Putin threatening grave consequences and then of course turning a Wagner assault on US troops into a bloody burnt smear on the Syrian desert. So this is something new. maybe its just politics, at least I hope it is,
but we can't rule out dark money. So without further ado, I will audit the effectiveness of US aid to Ukraine. 1. The pre-war Russian Army doesn't exist anymore. A more than 100% casualty rate of the initial invasion force, the loss of thousands of tanks and vehicles, expending

What we know for sure: 1. a missile hit Poland killing two people. 2. It's Russia's fault. Poeple can argue if it was a SAM that went off course, or a SAM that was repurposed into a SSM, if it was fired from #Belarus, #Ukraine or #Russia. They can push outlandish theories like
Russia claiming Ukraine did it in order to get NATO involved to help Ukraine stave off an impending defeat (as Ukrainian troops retreat East across the Dnipro in the South and all the way to the Belarus and Russian borders in the North). They can argue about what type of rocket
motor and get into the weeds about enameled metal vs brushed metal vs the angles of bolt holts and setting pins. They can argue that NATO should or shouldn't do this or that. I think NATO should close the skies over Western Ukraine so there is my marker. These are all things that

@ZelenskyyUa went to Kherson, just days after its liberation and boom he makes an appearance when there is a very high likelihood of at least some dead enders and SOF in the city along with deserters and collaborators... Ballsy. Yeah I know he will have good security but still
no security scheme is full proof and he in no way has the resources of the Secret Service. I also know the Kleptogradians will claim its all green screen. You will lilely see infographics that show that this lamp post is actually X tall so Z can't really be there, or look that
face looks similar to this face seen somewhere else etc... Its all copium. At the same time they are denying the photos and videos coming out of Kherson they are alternately celebrating and denying the latest snuff film by the Orchestra. In private they celebrate, in public

Today's essay will be rather like a winding road as there are a lot of little disjointed things to talk about, that I have to weave into a coherent narrative. Russia makes that hard... Lets start with the obvious comedy before winding round to the horror. Ready or not here we go!
First belly laugh, the Ukrianians captured an intact T-62. Not an M or MV but a base model your granddads sweat still stains the interior hull and turret sides T-62
In an age of javelins don't be a tank that should (was) on static display. Where did they even find that thing in running order? If it wasn't in running order (likely) why didn't they give it something? Oh because they can't, no resources + no time = WITAF. LOL and we are

So how many Russian troops got out of Kherson? We probably won't know the truth for a long time if ever. What we do know is that not every Russian sent to that side of the River made it out. Its more likely than not that the Russian's lost thousands of men in the battle for the
Kherson Pocket... and it was a pocket battle. Bridgeheads that don't expand often end up dying. Sometimes defenders with logistics lines dominated by enemy artillery find a way to win. Look at the French with the Sacred Road at Verdun. But usually, interdicted supply lines mean
the defender is going to lose. We will have an idea of just how good or bad the retreat was based on the amount of captured equipment if such is revealed. If far easier to get a man across a river than a truck let alone a tank or SPG. Now just because we don't know, does not

For months now I have been saying the #Ukrainians would use a bite and hold strategy taking bits here and there until the Russian Army collapsed. Ahh, feels good to be right. The Russian's have lost the Battle of Kherson, though mopping up will likely take some days as stragglers
deserters and dead enders get captured, pocketed and annihilated. I always dismissed the idea that Ukraine would launch sweeping blitzkrieg style armored thrusts. That kind of army requires years and a lot of safe space to build, things Ukraine did not have. Ukraine used what she
have and what she was given masterfully. Now granted I am a nobody. Yet my line was the same as retired general officers (western) and even a few Russians. People with actual formal training (I never got past Spc-4 or bachelors) and educations that reach Ph.D level reading if not
