Bakugo Katsuki seethed in anger as he watched his landlord bow repeatedly.

"I'm so sorry Bakugou-san. I know your move in day was supposed to be today. But unfortunately the loft you were approved for was purchased outright!"
"AND YOU'RE JUST TELLING ME THIS NOW?!" Katsuki snapped. After years of blood, sweat and tears at a top university. He got hired for his dream job, teaching at his alma mater, UA High School. The problem was the area was far more expensive than what he could afford.
He sold his car, and took up three part time jobs over the summer in order to afford a decent loft close to the school. He found this one for a practical steal due to the complex having new ownership. He was supposed to move in this weekend, right before the school year began.
"W-well you see sir..." The landlord stuttered. "A very wealthy benefactor urgently purchased this unit this morning! And I have no more units available! I will of course return your deposit!"

"THAT'S HORSESHIT!" Katsuki screamed.
"I'm so sorry! But if you could please vacate the property, the new tenant will be here soon and-"

"DON'T YOU GET IT, YOU IDIOT?! I HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO FUCKING GO!!"
Every other apartment near the school was way over his budget. Even if he received his deposit back that day, the most he would be able to afford was a hotel for the week. He was completely and utterly screwed.

"Is.. everything alright?"
A high pitch voice questioned as he entered the leasing office carrying a suitcase and a small box. He was a smaller guy with large green eyes and curly hair.

"M-M-Midoriya-san!" The leasing agent froze. "This is uh.. um.. if you could please give me a moment!"
"Oh... so this is the benefactor, huh?!" Katsuki glared daggers at the guy. "You think you're so special, huh?!"

"Bakugo-san, please!" The agent whined. "I will have to call the police if you make a scene!"

"Wh-what's going on?" Midoriya fretted.

"You moving in to 7A?!"
Katsuki interrogated.

"Yes?" The smaller blinked.

"You asshole! You think it's fine to just swing your money around and leave hardworking people homeless, huh?! You can have anything you want so buzz off, Deku!"

"D-Deku?!"
"Yeah! Cause you're useless and irritating! Good for nothing but your money!"

"I-I'm sorry!" Deku bowed, in tears. "It wasn't me! My new s-step father bought the place for me! I'm not used to this either! I'm Midoriya Izuku! Please accept my apology!"
"Apologies aren't gonna solve shit, damnit!" Katsuki threw his own box against the wall as he ran his hands in his hair in frustration. "Fucking shit!" He hated the tears that prickled in his eyes. It made him look weak in front of these silver spoon assholes.
"B-Bakugo-san! Please!" The landlord frantically wrote him a check. "Exit the premises at once!"

"Fuck you!" Katsuki ripped the check from his grasp and grabbed his box. "And fuck you too!" He screamed at Deku as he stormed out.

"Sato-san. Who was that?! What's going on?!"
“My apologies Midoriya-San. Yagi-Sama purchased this unit for you so last minute and we had promised to lease the unit to that man today but we of course put your family in high regard and- Midoriya-San?!”

Izuku ran out of the leasing office and chased after Katsuki.
“Bakugo-San!” Izuku called to him, catching up quick much to the blonde’s annoyance.

Katsuki couldn’t get very far because he was sitting at the bus stop in front of the complex like a fucking loser.

“What do you want?!” He growled at him.

“Do you really have nowhere to go?!”
“I don’t want your pity!” Katsuki snapped. “Or a handout! Or a damn check! If ya really want to do something out of the kindness of your heart, you’ll take your money and get your own damn place instead of stealing mine!”

“I…can’t do that!” Izuku sulked.
“I’m so sorry my step father put you in this position, but… I have to live here.” He sniffled. “But I don’t have to live alone! What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.”

“What are you saying?” Katsuki seethed.

“I’m saying the place is very large! Too big for just one person!”
“I can give you the other room! You can even take the large one! I’ll be as quiet as a mouse! You won’t notice me! But please Bakugo-San… take my offer!” Izuku bowed. “Let me make this right!”

If Katsuki was in a position to refuse, he would tell him to fuck off.
He didn’t sign up for an annoying tiny roommate. He worked hard to live on his own, with his dream career. And it was this guy who shoved him out just because he could. And now he wanted him to live with him?! Katsuki wanted to scream at him to go to hell!
But… he wasn’t in a position to refuse.

“Whats the catch?” Katsuki seethed.

“No catch! Really!” Izuku swore. “You don’t even have to pay me rent if you don’t want but…” His lip wobbled. “Living alone can be scary. You’re doing me a favor.”
Katsuki glared at the guy in front of him. He looked so damn young. Maybe it was his first place out of high school and this was all Daddy could get him. He seemed sincere enough. No creepy vibes from him. He seemed like a doormat who was too kind and naive for his own good.
“I’ll pay you rent.” Katsuki relented because, really, what other option did he have? School started in two days! “But at a discount then what I was paying that cheapskate because you owe me!”

“Y-yes! That’s fine with me!” Izuku bowed. “Thank you! You won’t regret it!”
Katsuki felt like he would, but he didn’t have much of a choice now. The two carried their boxes in awkward silence to the unit together.

“What the hell?!” The loft was a lot larger than it was when Katsuki toured it.

“Is there a problem?” Izuku asksd. “Is it not big enough?”
“No… it’s huge!” Katsuki gawked at the spacious living room.

“Oh…Yagi-San did mention something about them knocking down a wall to another unit so I have plenty of room for my collectibles. I hope you don’t mind them! I collect figurines and comics of super heroes!”
Katsuki looked at Izuku in absolute awe. He wasn’t only rich, he was a complete idiot. Why on earth would he move in with a complete stranger when he likely had thousands of dollars worth of merchandise any guy short on their luck would steal?!

“All that space for that box?”
Katsuki blinked.

“Oh no! All of my stuff is being brought later by my drive Iida-San! He’s just collecting the last of the furniture from an outlet nearby. But if it’s not to your taste, I can cancel and we can pick something together!” Izuku offered.
“It’s…fine.” Katsuki sighed. He wasn’t in a place to even think about furniture. He was hoping to use his first paycheck for a bed.

A couple of hours passed by and the pompous driver arrived along with a couple of servants. Whoever Deku was, he was loaded.
To Katsuki’s demise, Izuku lied to his driver and told him that he was the fucking doorman helping him settle in. So he had to spend the next few hours obeying Iida’s instructions like a dog. But he couldn’t complain because… free furniture! They thought of everything.
“Why do you want the guest room to be the larger one?” Iida questioned Izuku.

“I like the view in the smaller one! Really, I prefer it!”

“Very well then. Bakugo-kun! Help us arrange the furniture in the guest room!”

“Iida-San! I told Bakugo-San exactly how I want it set up!”
Izuku informed him. “So please follow HIS instructions!”

Katsuki was overwhelmed. He actually had a bed to sleep in that night. A dresser, a fucking mini couch, and a coffee table. All in his room. Things he thought he wouldn’t get for two or three months.
He felt so damn humiliated for accepting all of this. Deku seemed to take all his wealth for granted even though he wasn’t used to it. After the movers had left, Katsuki walked into the kitchen and stared inside the fully stocked fridge. Wagyu beef. There was wagyu fucking beef!
“Deku! Get in here!” Katsuki called.

“Coming!” Izuku walked out of his room wearing pajamas of the superhero All Might and matching slippers.

“I don’t like this.” Katsuki sighed. “I don’t like accepting things I didn’t earn. I don’t like relying on some stranger I just met!”
“You did earn it!” Izuku protested. “You worked hard, right?! It’s unfair what you had to go through, so… I’m making it fair, Bakugo-San!”

“Katsuki.” Katsuki grumbled under his breath.

“Hm?”

“Bakugo is too damn formal for someone who saved my ass! So just call me Katsuki!”
“Too formal…hmm.. then how about Kacchan?!” Izuku smiled excitedly.

“You’re fucking pushing it!”

“What?! It’s as informal as I can be!”

“What the fuck ever! Call me what you want! The point is… I wanted to thank you! You don’t have to hide in your room like a mouse.”
“Let me make us dinner.” Katsuki offered gratefully. “It’s the least I can do.”

“I’d love that!” Izuku smiled warmly.

Katsuki cooked for the smaller guy who ate his meal happily, raving in detail about all the flavors.
After they were done, Katsuki grabbed two glasses and poured some red wine he found under the cabinet.

“Oh… I think that’s for cooking.” Izuku laughed nervously as Katsuki gave him his glass.

“Yeah, well there wasn’t much else and we should toast. I’ll buy a new bottle later.”
“Um… okay.” Izuku raised the glass. “To our new place!”

“Cheers.” Katsuki clinked their glasses together and chugged his wine. Meanwhile Izuku sniffed it anxiously before taking a small sip.

“This is good.” He blinked.

“Yeah…” Katsuki observed the bottle. “Quality shit.”
Izuku nodded in agreement before drinking a tad bit more.

“It’s hard to swallow. It kind of burns!”

“Not really. This is the smooth stuff. But if you don’t like it, I’ll finish it.” Katsuki shrugged before taking his glass.

“That’s probably for the best. Thank you!”
After cleaning the dishes together, they went to their separate rooms. The next day was a smooth one. Katsuki wasn’t going to lie. Izuku was a pretty great roommate. He was respectful, and while he was a little messy, he did his best to clean up after himself.
His collection was amazing as well. Katsuki wouldn’t tell him but he was a huge fan of All Might himself. He used to only dream about having half the things Izuku kept in pristine condition on the shelves. He babbled and talked a lot which got under his skin but-
-it’s not like that was the worst trait in a roommate. Izuku never pried for details about his life or shared too many about his own. Katsuki didn’t even know what kind of job he had or if he was just a professional rich person.

That night, Izuku offered to cook dinner.
And to Katsuki’s shock, it was a pretty damn good bowl of Katsudon.

“I’m surprised you could cook.” Katsuki scoffed. “I thought you’d have someone do that for you or order takeout all the time.”

“Mom and I cook…M-Mom and I used to cook together all the time. She was amazing.”
“I tried my best to learn from her.” Izuku explained. “I like to cook. It reminds me of home before…well, a bunch of things changed.”

Katsuki could tell he was uncomfortable explaining further so he didn’t pry. “Well… she taught you well. This is fucking amazing.”
“I’m glad you like it!” Izuku beamed.

“Is it alright if I pack the leftovers for work tomorrow?” Katsuki asked him.

“Absolutely Kacchan! I’d be honored! Don’t worry about leaving anything for me, I’ll just buy food at lunch time!”

So this guy did have a job….
They both turned in early that night and Katsuki didn’t get to see him as he rushed out the door early the next day. He needed to be at UA at 6AM so he could make it to the faculty meeting before his very first home room class.

“Bakugo, you got hired as well!”
Uraraka Ochaco, his former classmates greeted him wearing a nurses outfit.

“They threw you a bone, Round Face?!”

“Hey! There’s nothing wrong with nursing!” Uraraka scolded him. “I studied the curriculum for it because I want to help these kids anyway I can!”
“What’d you get hired for, huh? A coach?” She wondered.

“No.” Katsuki grinned victoriously. “I’ll have you know, I’m the homeroom teacher for my very own batch of first years! And I teach an essay writing course!”

“Damnit! How’d you land that?! They said I need more experience”
“The reason I never went with you and everyone on those damn summer vacations is because I was busy interning with the old hag at her elementary school!” Katsuki smirked. “Got me all the experience I needed.”

“Are you two done?” The principal Aizawa Shouta questioned behind them
“S-Sorry!” They both moved out of his way.

“Everyone line up! Let’s get this over with before the first years entrance ceremony!”

The meeting was long and boring and Katsuki just wanted to start his class for the day. He went over making last minute adjustments on his syllabus
Something he forgot to do in the craziness of the past weekend. He finished everything as students filed in. Katsuki couldn’t help but proud as he watched them. He never thought he would follow in his mother’s footsteps and go into teaching.
But he was an annoying kid himself who always got into a trouble. He was angry at the world for seemingly no reason and it was a very patient teacher who helped him get on the right path. Hakamada-Sensei saved his life and future. And Katsuki wanted to do the same for others.
He realized as greeted and welcomed all the new faces that nervously entered his classroom that he never went over his roster. It was something he planned to do over the weekend but given all the chaos, he neglected to do it.
Everyone gossiped and chatted and introduced themselves to each other and Katsuki kept in mind which kids were shyer and kept to themselves. Everyone went to their appropriate desks as the bell rang and Katsuki realized one was empty.

“Alright everyone, it’s time for-”
The door suddenly slammed open and Izuku rushed in wearing a full UA uniform, complete with a sloppily tied tie.

“I’M SO SORRY I’M LATE SENSEI! I-” He looked up and met Katsuki’s eyes whose jaw looked like it was about to drop to the floor. “Huh?”
The two stared at each other, panicking as they realized the predicament they were in.

Izuku frantically pulled out the schedule that was crumbled in his hand at the same time that Katsuki glanced down at his roster.

Katsuki paced back in forth, after his first class of the day. First class of his damn career! He was able to maintain his composure but once the bell rang for the kids to go to their next class, the frustrated teacher asked Izuku to stay behind.

“What the FUCK DEKU?!”
“Kacchan, please calm down!” Izuku put his hands up defensively. “I didn’t know you were a teacher!”

“I’m not just a teacher, Izuku. I’m YOUR teacher. Do you know how fucked I am if Principal Aizawa finds out I’m living under YOUR roof?! Why didn’t you tell me you were a kid?!”
“Um… I wasn’t sure you would accept my offer if you knew.” Izuku grumbled.

“Shit.. I served you alcohol! Goddamnit!” Katsuki kicked a chair. “Now I have to find another place all on top of this already stressful week!”

“You don’t have to!”

“OF COURSE I DO!”
“Please! Stay! Nobody has to know! You walk to and from here, right?! Iida-San picks me up every morning! All my mail gets forwarded to my parents so our addresses don’t match! I won’t tell a soul! So please don’t leave!” Izuku pleaded.

“Deku, if we get found out,”
“It’s not only my career on the line! Your reputation too! We could get accused of all kinds of things! Your grades could be put in jeopardy! Hell, I have to go to Aizawa and explain this right away!”

“NO!” Izuku shrieked, startling Katsuki. “You can’t tell him…”
“He’ll tell my step father and then I’ll get in trouble and then I’ll have to go back and…” He began to hyperventilate, and Katsuki put his hand on his shoulders roughly.

“Hey. Hey hey… it’s alright. Calm down.” Katsuki didn’t know what this kid’s deal was.
But he obviously was here to get away from something.

“I won’t tell him.” Katsuki promised him.

“Thank you.” Izuku sniffled. “I’m sorry for not telling you my age… But can you please think about staying? I don’t want to be alone.”
Katsuki took in the frightened look on his face and thought about everything that happened the past couple of days. If he moved out, Izuku was sure to get in trouble. Even if he kept an eye on him as his teacher. There was something off.

“Fine.” He relented.
“Now wipe your face and get to class.” Katsuki handed him a handkerchief and Izuku nodded gratefully.

“Thank you, Kacchan!”

“It’s Bakugo-Sensei here, you got it?!”

“Y-yes Bakugo-Sensei!” Izuku bowed happily before rushing to his next class. Katsuki sat on his desk, bewildered.
What on earth did he just agree to?

The rest of the day went by smoothly. Katsuki saw Izuku again in his essay writing class and was impressed by what he wrote. But just like in person, he had the tendency to ramble in his writing.
He made sure to grade him fairly but even with a harsher eye, he still got the second highest grade in the class.

When the final bell rang, Katsuki was going to ask Izuku to stay behind when Ochaco burst through his classroom.

“Bakugoooo-kun!!!” She sang.
“Can you not act so casual in front of the damn kids?!” Katsuki seethed.

“Sorry, Bakugo-Sensei.” The nurse teased as kids around them watched and giggled.

“Um… thank you for a good class Sensei!” Izuku bowed. “I will see you… tomorrow.”

“Yes.” Katsuki sighed. “Tomorrow.”
“Who’s that cutie?!” Ochaco swooned as the last of the first years left.

“Midoriya Izuku.” Katsuki grumbled. “A good kid. But I can tell he’s gonna be a handful.”

“Picking favorites already?” Ochaco chuckled.

“As if!” Katsuki snapped.

“Let’s go get drinks! I’m pooped!”
“Pass. I’m heading home.” Katsuki said as he packed his things.

“Then how about I come with you?” Ochaco offered. “Have a beer and watch re-reruns of the Great Tokyo Race like old times!”

“Ochaco.” Katsuki bit his lip. “It’s not… like old times. We’re just colleagues here.”
“I just thought.” She shifted nervously. “Since you’re not so busy anymore. We could, pick up where we left off. New career. New start. Even for us.” She played with a necklace around her neck.

“You still have that?”

“Of course I do.” She blushed. “It’s a treasure.”
“It’s a piece of junk I won in a stupid rigged claw machine.”

“That you spent every last dollar just get for me.” She reminisced. “Who knew you had it in you to be so sweet?”

“I gotta get home. Alone.” Katsuki sighed. “These essays are gonna take all night.”
Katsuki didn’t know how his life had suddenly become a bad movie, but maybe it all started when he dumped her to focus on his career. That was what he told her anyway. The truth was, he simply wasn’t feeling what he was supposed to feel when two people date each other.
Ochaco was a great friend. She was fun, attractive and great to be around outdoors and indoors, in his bedroom. He took her to a movie on their last date. It was Valentine’s Day and there was some sappy romance she wanted to see that moved Katsuki to tears.
The characters were so in love with each other and their feelings were so intense the moment they met each other. And he realized he felt none of that with her. And if he was going to date someone, if he was going to pursue something as useless as a romantic relationship,
He wanted it to be LIKE THAT.

Katsuki was lost in thought as he walked home. He almost forgot about his current predicament until he opened the front door and saw those big red shoes.

“Izuku?” Katsuki called. The smell of gyoza wafted through the air,
And he walked into the kitchen to find the kid humming to music as he cooked.

“Yo!” Katsuki pulled his headphone.

“AHHH!” Izuku shreiked, dropping the spoon he used to stir the rice.

“It’s just me! Relax!” Katsuki tried to calm him.
“Kacchan.” Izuku swallowed the lump in his throat. “W-welcome home. I’m making gyoza and rice and veggies. I hope you enjoy it!”

“We need to talk.” Katsuki sighed.

“R-right. I suppose we do.” Izuku turned the fire off and followed him to the table.
“Look, if we want this to work, there’s a hell of a lot of ground rules we need to set!” Katsuki laid out. “First of all, I’m not your babysitter. I’m not your guardian or your body guard! Outside of school hours, I’m just a damn roommate!”

“And maybe a friend?” Deku perked up.
“Absolutely not!” Katsuki said sternly. “Second thing, we have to be completely honest with each other about everything from now on! If we’re gonna keep this secret, we gotta know who we gotta lie to, and how we gotta lie!”
“That means whether I like it or not, I gotta know who you run around with, so I can be extra careful not to let anything slip! And you should be smart enough yourself not to tell any adult anything about me!”

“O-of course!” Izuku nodded.
“Third, I’m not playing favorites, you hear? You can’t come to me for help on your homework. I’m not gonna grade you easier. I’m making everything as fair as can be!”

“Yes sir!” Izuku nodded.

“Last thing, I need your number.” Katsuki handed him his phone.
“We need to be able to communicate and coordinate everything so nothing slips up. ONLY use it to warn me when your family or driver or anything is coming by and I need to stay on campus longer! If you send me one meme, I’m packing my bags and sleeping on the street!”
“You have my word!” Izuku typed in his number and slid it back to him. “Now how about we enjoy dinner? I’m starving.”

Katsuki stared at his sweet smile and wondered if it was appropriate for him to sit across from his student and eat and talk about his day with him.
The lines between them were already blurred. It was almost impossible to go back to a strict student-teacher relationship. His stomach grumbled, distracting him from his thoughts.

“Fine… let’s eat.”

They washed the dishes together as p”like always after.

“You know…”
Izuku mused. “You’re kind of a different person in the classroom than you are at home. The same, but somehow different.”

“I’m just more professional.” Katsuki yawned. “As a teacher, you have to perform to keep everyone’s attention.”

“Everyone thinks you’re dorky.” Izuku giggled
“What?!” Katsuki dropped his plate in the soap filled sink, splashing soap on Izuku.

“You just care so much!” Izuku laughed. “I defended you! I think it’s great! A lot of teachers…” He looked haunted for a moment. “A lot of teachers seem to forget why they teach.”
“You’re kind of a weird kid, you know.” Katsuki removed the soap from his hair with his hand. “Lighten up. These three years are gonna fly by before you know it. It’s your last chance to have some fun before the real world hit you.”

“I guess for me, it already has.”
Izuku shrugged before turning and smiling up at Katsuki. “But with you here, I don’t know. I feel like I can pretend a little longer.”

Katsuki stared at him before flicking more soap at his face. “Then go wash up and do your homework!”

“You do your homework!” Izuku laughed.
He then grabbed a handful of soap and plopped it on Katsuki’s nose.

“You idiot! I’m in charge of your grades!”

“And I’m technically in charge of your housing!” Izuku ran as Katsuki sprayed him with the nozzle.

“You take that back!”

“Homework time!” Izuku shreiked.
“Bath first, dweeb!”

“I thought you weren’t my babysitter!” Izuku called back as he ran to his room.

“Whatever stinky!” Katsuki chided as he grabbed a mop to clean the mess he made.
He heard Izuku’s fit of giggles as he closed the door and couldn’t help but grin at the sound. It was endearing. He really was a good kid. He just seemed lost. Whatever happened to him, Katsuki needed to make sure it didn’t happen again.
He felt weirdly protective over him. That smile could put a chorus of angels to shame. It was beautiful. Katsuki felt his his heart squeeze when he thought of the sight. Shit… what was he thinking just now? He mopped up the soap furiously. He needed to go to bed.

"What are you doing out here all alone?"

"Just getting some air."

"Come on, it's your mom's wedding day. You should be inside. Celebrating."

"She's happy enough without me there I think."

"Then how about a dance with me out here? Izuku's your name. Right?"
"Yeah... And you are?"

"You can call me anything you want, beautiful."

Izuku woke up gasping for air as his heart raced. Goddamnit. Another nightmare. Izuku frantically checked his phone for the time. If he was late again, Kacchan would surely throw a fit.
6:15. He had 45 minutes to get to class. Izuku looked at his several missed calls and texts. Iida was already outside waiting for him. His mom asked him to call her. Again. And his ex boyfriend, Kirishima, was currently calling him.

"Hello?"

"Oh thank God you picked up!"
Eijiro sighed in relief. "How have you been? I haven't heard from you in days. Is the big city a lot nicer than over here? Shiketsu High isn't the same without you!"

"It's fine enough." Izuku answered as he frantically grabbed clothes to change into.
“Am I catching you at a bad time? I figured you’d be on campus by now. You used to always show up an hour early the first week.” Eijiro pointed out.

“Yeah well, I live closer to this school.” Izuku informed him. “I don’t have to be so early…”
“When are you gonna tell me where you ended up, huh?” Ei grumbled. “Why is it this big secret? All I know is it’s a city. Your mom looked white as a sheet when I asked her the other day.”

“I have to go!”

“Izuku! Wait!”

“What?!”

“You know I still care about you, right?”
“And everyone else. They’ve move on from the whole thing. Really. It was all so stupid. You have a place here! We’re on your-”

“I have to go, Ei!” Izuku hung up and threw his phone on the bed. Asshole. How dare he pretend to be understanding now.
Izuku put his shoes on and rushed out the door to see his driver Iida’s furious expression.

“Midoriya! Really! Any minute later and you would have been late to your classroom the second day in a row! You are starting fresh here! You can’t afford to mess up!” He scolded him.
“I’m sorry.” Izuku grumbled as he put his seatbelt on.

“Master Yagi has gone through a lot of trouble to get you as far away as possible! He had to use a lot of his connections to get you into this school so your future isn’t further jeopardized! Have more consideration!”
“I’ll try and set more alarms.” Izuku pouted. If he had it his way, he wouldn’t sleep at all. But his body betrayed him and dragged his consciousness into his never ending nightmare every night.

“Your mother wants you to call her.” Iida reminded him as they pulled up to campus.
“I know.” Izuku grabbed his bags as he opened the door.

“Are you going to this time?” Iida asked before he left.

“Probably not.”

“Midoriya…” Iida looked at him sadly. “You know she didn’t want this.”

“See you after school, Iida-San.”

“Midoriya!”
Izuku slammed the door and was happy the bell hadn’t rung yet. Other students were still filing in.

“Woah! You didn’t come across as a rich boy to me!” A boy with brown hair in a ponytail approached him. “Nice car!”

“Oh. Good morning Soul-San!”

“Please. Call me Rody.”
The boy laughed. “I’m from a country where we go by first names.”

“Another country?” Izuku perked up. “Which one?”

“Oseon! You should come visit sometime!”

“Sounds far away.” Izuku smiled. “I’d love to!”

The bell rang and Rody had an evil look on his face.
“Hey. I heard It’s Bakugou-Sensei’s first year teaching. Me and some of the other guys were gonna play a prank on him. Wanna join us?”

“I don’t think that’s a good idea!” Izuku gawked. Kacchan would absolutely move out if he assisted in some cruel prank.
"Come on! It's nothing worth getting suspended over!" Rody laughed. "We were just gonna swap names and seats for the day and see if he noticed!"

"Oh." Izuku laughed. "Then I definitely can't participate! He knows my name for sure!"

"Oh. Right! Mr. late on the 1st day!"
"That's me! Now come on! I don't wanna be late on the second!" Izuku panicked as he looked at his watch. While rushing to class, he couldn't help but feel happy that being late was the only thing he was known for. Making friends at UA was easy. Everyone was so nice.
As much as he hated Iida's lectures so early in the morning, he was right about one thing. Izuku was given a fresh start at his life. He couldn't let it go to waste!

"Good morning Bakugou-Sensei!" Izuku greeted Katsuki as he entered the classroom.
"I hope you don't mind that I place my thermos here while I tie my shoe!" He beamed and crouched down to his shoes which Katsuki noticed were already fucking tied.

"Tie it at your desk Mi-" He was about to scold when he saw a note written on the side of the thermos.
'Pay Attention to your Roster!!! >.<'

Katsuki blinked as Izuku thanked him and rushed to his seat. What the hell did that mean? After the final bell rang, the confused teacher looked up from his lesson plan and realized what. A lot of the idiots switched seats.
He may have been an inexperienced teacher, but Katsuki understood the art of pranking. As a former little shit himself, he knew the best way to counter a prank was with a better prank.

“Everyone in their seats?” He questioned the eager class.
“Yes sir!” Everyone said as the pranksters failed to keep their composure with giggles and snickers.

“Let’s see then… Kaminari.” Katsuki read the name of his roster.

“Yes, sir! That’s me!” Rody stood up with a shit eating grin on his face.

“Come with me.”
Rody followed Katsuki out of the classroom as the actual Kaminari and the pranksters cackled.

“Can you believe that?!” Denki turned to Hitoshi Shinso with tears in his eyes. “He’s a total scrub!”

“What a dumb prank.” Hitoshi sighed.

“I can’t believe he fell for it..”
Yaoyourozu Momo sulked. Suddenly Rody slammed the door open. He looked like his soul had completely left his body. He was red in the face with tears in his eyes.

“K-Kaminari… I’m sorry.” He sniffled. “Gosh.. this was dumb of us. I’m so sorry!” He sobbed.
Everyone was quiet as Denki looked around in shock. “What’s going on?”

“I had to tell Bakugo-Sensei the truth but please go see him… he has news for you!”

“Wh-what news?”

Everyone whispered, horrified at the mixup and the potential news Rody heard.
“I told him your parents got in a car crash.” Katsuki answered as he lightly smacked Rody in the back of the head with his clip board. “But the actual tragedy was they gave birth someone who thought I wouldn’t know my own class. Everyone in your fucking seats.” He yawned.
Everyone laughed at Rody and Kaminari’s faces as all the pranksters quietly went to their actual seats. Katsuki continued the class as normal, letting their humiliation be punishment enough which which earned him the class’s respect and undivided attention.
The bell rang and all the students eagerly said goodbye. And the pranksters came together to say one big apology.

“Save it.” Katsuki held his hand up. “That was the lamest prank I’ve ever seen. Next time, do something I won’t expect, got it?”

“Y-yes sir!”
The boys said excitedly, ready to take up the challenge before moving on to their next class. Izuku, trailed behind after.

“Hey.” Katsuki called him.

“Yeah?”

“Thanks for the heads up.” He sighed. “But I DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE NOTICED!”

“Sure you would have.” Izuku grinned.
“Whatever! Get to class!” Katsuki fumed. Yeah, so maybe he was up all night grading papers and would have fallen for it if not for his snitch of a roommate.

“See you later!” Izuku giggled.

Damnit. He definitely needed to take up his coffee habit again.
He worked so hard to not rely on caffeine but these kids were definitely keeping him on his toes.

Izuku smiled to himself about just how well Kacchan handled the prank. He felt bad for Rody but his challenge seemed to only invigorate him more! Everyone was raving about Kacchan.
It made Izuku feel proud of his roommate who he definitely considered a friend no matter what he said!

“Bakugo-sensei is definitely my favorite!” Kaminari smiled. “He may have scared the shit out of me, but he was so cool!”

“We’re gonna have a fun year with him!” Rody agreed.
“I’m already plotting our next prank!” Hanta Sero rubbed his hands together.

“Bakugo-Sensei is my favorite too.” Utsushimi Camie swooned. “I just love to look at him!”

“Huh?” Izuku blinked.

“Oh! You notice it too, Midoriya?” Camie wiggled her brows. “He’s so hot!”
Izuku blushed and looked away. Yes, Kacchan was very handsome. And he had seen him head to the bath a few times wearing only a towel. It was quite a sight.

“I um… think he’s really good at what he does so far!” Izuku covered his face with his notebook, feeling his nose bleed.
“Don’t let nurse Uraraka hear you say that.” Ashido Mina teased. “They’re totally a thing!”

“A goalie never stops a great player from scoring.” Camie grinned.

“What makes you think that?” Izuku asked Ashido. “That they’re a… a thing?”

“I saw them have lunch together!”
Mina giggled. “And she came into the class yesterday, and the way she looked at him? I could tell something was definitely in the air!”

“Maybe they’re just friends.” Izuku grumbled.

“I hope they are!” Denki whined. “Nurse Uraraka is an angel on earth!”
“She really is quite beautiful.” Momo mused.

“Alright everyone! Class is starting!” Their English teacher, Yamada-Sensei, announced.

Izuku tried to focus on the lesson, but he felt a weird feeling inside. Why was he so upset?
Lunch time rolled around and Izuku resisted the urge to make an excuse to go to the teachers lounge. Who Kacchan ate lunch with was none of his business. He walked into the cafeteria and went to sit with his friends when he saw them all whispering and pointing at him.
He felt his whole stomach drop. His eyes watered and he could barely breathe as he saw them looking at their cell phones in shock. No. No no no! They couldn’t find out… right? Yagi-San promised..

“Hey Izuku!” Rody called him over. “Izuku, we can’t believe you never told us!”
“H-huh?” Izuku nervously walked over, surprised by their happy looking faces.

“Yagi Toshinori is your father?! THE Yagi Toshinori?!” Kaminari asked excitedly.

“Oh…” Izuku sighed in relief. “Um, step father actually. He’s really great.” He smiled sheepishly.
“Tell us more! What’s he like? How’d him and your mom meet?!” Mina interrogated.

Katsuki walked into the school records department on a mission.

“Hey. Half and Half.” Katsuki asked the secretary who was typing onto the computer.

“Who, me?”

“Is there anyone else in here?!”
“I’m Todoroki Shoto. How can I help you?” The secretary introduced himself.

“I need to look at a student’s records.” Katsuki announced.

“Sure. What’s their last name?”

“Midoriya Izuku.”
TBC 🗃️
Beginning for those who are just joining.
Todoroki sifted through his files on his computer and stole a few glances at Katsuki while doing so.

“What? I got something on my face?” Katsuki questioned.

“No. It’s…” Shoto cleared his throat. “You’re the new 1st year teacher, right?”

“Yeah.”

“You’re very handsome.”
“Just get me the file.” Katsuki rolled his eyes. But he wasn’t going to lie. Shoto wasn’t a bad looker, himself.

“Right… anything in particular you were looking for?” Shoto leaned into his computer, perplexed.

“I guess I’ll start with his last school.”

“That’s the thing…”
Shoto scratched his head. “Midoriya’s middle school records are completely sealed. Other than his test scores and class rank, there is nothing I have access to. Not even the name of the school.”

“What the hell?” Katsuki grumbled.

“Do you mind me asking why you need them?”
“I do mind.” Katsuki clicked his tongue. “Can ya at least tell me who his parents are?!”

“Hmm… Oh.” Shoto typed before covering his mouth in surprise.

“What?!”

“His father is Yagi Toshinori. The head of Ultra Comics, and author of the first All Might comic.”
Katsuki froze in shock. When Deku referred to his step father as ‘Yagi-san’, he didn’t realize he meant THAT Yagi. No wonder the kid was loaded!!!! But Ultra Comics was located on the other side of the country. So what the hell was Izuku doing all the way over here?!
“Shit…” He rubbed his chin.

“His mother is Yagi Inko. But weirdly enough, she’s not listed as his emergency contact. Only his father and someone named Iida Tenya are.” Shoto informed him.

“Is she still alive?” Katsuki questioned.

“It appears so.” Shoto said before typing.
“And a quick google search confirms it. It says here she was recently discharged from the hospital.”

Katsuki thought back to Izuku’s sad expression when thinking about his mother. But it looked like he wasn’t going to get many answers without asking him himself.
“Alright then. See ya.” Katsuki waved his hand.

“Wait.” Shoto wrote something down on a paper. “Would you like to go for coffee sometime?”

Katsuki grabbed the paper, reading his phone number. He hadn’t really dated since Ochaco. And with his current living situation,
the possibility was difficult if not impossible. But Shoto was handsome and maybe he would be able to get more information out of him down the line. One coffee couldn’t hurt.

“Sure.” Katsuki shrugged. “I’ll text you when I’m not busy.”
Later that evening, dinner with Izuku was quiet. He was normally chatty, and warm but he barely touched his food and seemed to be lost in thought.

“Ya want me to cook something? You look like you cooked yourself some road kill.”

“Huh? Oh, no, I… I like what I made!”
Izuku blushed. “I just have a lot on my mind I guess. Busy day.”

“Anything ya wanna talk about?” Katsuki normally wouldn’t pry, but he was dying for any information about this kid.

“Are you seeing Nurse Uraraka?”

“Huh?!” Katsuki was not expecting THAT.
“Everyone was talking about it and you said we have to be transparent with each other about who we spend the most time with so we know who to be careful around, right?” Izuku said in an almost accusatory manner.

“Yeah, I guess I did tell you that.” Katsuki sighed. “She’s my ex.”
“We dated in college but I broke it off cause I wasn’t feeling it. We’re still friends though.” Katsuki hoped by opening up to Izuku, he would open up to him in return. “But I’m not seeing anyone at the moment. You kinda make that impossible.” He pointed out.
“Though I guess the secretary gave me his number today but it’s just coffee.” Katsuki grumbled.

“You like guys too?” Izuku blurted out.

“I like whoever isn’t a waste of my time! Now how about you, huh? Anyone you’re seeing I should know about?”

“No.” Izuku shrugged.
“I had a boyfriend but he broke up with me.” Izuku grimaced. “He still calls me all the time, though. He wants to be friends but I kind of think it’s more cruel that way. I wish if he was done with me, that he would just leave me alone.”

“He break up with you cause of the move?”
Izuku looked up at Katsuki and bit his lip nervously.

“Sorry. You don’t have to tell me.” Katsuki glanced at his food, embarrassed.

“UA is a fresh start for me.” Izuku changed the subject. “And I like everyone I met so far! E-especially you! I know I made your life hard, but”
“I’m grateful for your company! These dinners are my favorite part of the day. When I talk to you and everyone else, I feel like I’ve always been here. I forget that I moved in the first place.” He smiled, back to his warm self and Katsuki couldn’t help but smile back.
“You didn’t make my life too hard.” He said. “If anything, you made it easier. Other than this whole secret that could ruin my career. The rent is cheap, and I have a bed to sleep on. So right back at you kid.”

“And the dinners?” Izuku perked up.

“What about them?”
“Do you…um, like them too?” He blushed.

“They’re alright.” Katsuki said before shoveling a chopstick full of udon into Izuku’s mouth. “NOW EAT YOURS”

“Mmmry!” Izuku flailed his hands.

Katsuki hated to admit it, but he did genuine enjoy Izuku’s company.
There was a strange dichotomy in Katsuki’s brain of Midoriya the student and Izuku the roommate. He was mature for his age so the only times Katsuki would remember he was only 16 was when he saw him in his classroom. Their relationship at school was different then at home.
Especially since Katsuki began to dedicate their dinners to finding any more puzzle pieces about Izuku’s life. Every day for two weeks, he would give information and get a tiny bit in return. He found out his mom remarried only two years ago.
She caught Yagi Toshinori’s attention at a book signing. He had only managed to sign a couple when a monsoon swamped the town. Everyone had gone home and he was forced to cancel it but Inko stayed waiting in the because she desperately wanted the signature for her son.
Her umbrella had flown away with the wind and she was soaking wet but she had waited outside the shop anyway, hoping for a chance to catch Toshinori as he walked to his car. He was so touched by her dedication to Izuku, he gave her a ride home and asked her and Deku to dinner.
Izuku was thrilled at first with his new life. He adored his step father and still does. But something changed after the wedding. Something Izuku never went into detail about.

“I let everyone down. I disappointed him… so I hope out here, I can make it up to him.”
That’s all Katsuki managed to get for a month. Izuku was thriving in and out of school. He made friends but didn’t join any clubs. He said he’d prefer the extra time to study. Not that he needed it, he was smart as hell. But he was happy so Katsuki lost the motivation to pry.
Until the nightmares got worse. Katsuki never realized he was wrecked with them. He had noticed Izuku’s eye bags and had scolded him to go to bed earlier but it never seemed to interfere with his livelihood until one night, Katsuki heard him scream at the top of his lungs.
Katsuki ran down the hall urgently and burst into his room where he found him wrecked with sobs.

“Izuku?!”

“I…I’m sorry…I’m sorry…” He was shaking. “I didn’t mean to wake you. I..” He tried to frantically wipe his tears off his face. “I’m fine.”
“You’re not fine!” Katsuki tried to calm is his racing heart and rushed to his side before throwing his blanket around his shoulders. “What’s with you? A nightmare?”

“Mmhmm…” Izuku nodded. “I’m sorry… it seemed so real…”

“Well, it’s not, okay?”
Katsuki grabbed a few tissues from a box on Izuku’s desk and gently wiped his face. “You wanna talk about it?”

“No…” Izuku whimpered. “I just want them to stop. I’m so tired… And they’re getting worse.”

“You always have these dreams?” Katsuki whispered.

“Mmhmm…”
“I… I’m scared.” Izuku mumbled. “I moved out here to get away from someone. I know the likelihood of him finding me is small. Yagi-San did everything to make it almost impossible. He’s on house arrest so it’s not like he can even get on a plane and come here… but… I’m worried”
“Izuku.” Katsuki grabbed his hand. “What the hell happened to you?”

Izuku looked at him then down at their hands. “I don’t wanna disappoint you too…”

“Hey. If someone’s after you, I need to know who to look out for! I don’t care what you did, I’m gotta keep us both safe!”
“I’m sorry.” Izuku cried. “You don’t have to look out for anyone because he can’t come here. It’s fine, really… it’s just in my head.”

“Deku.”

“Kacchan, I don’t want to talk about it!” He raised his voice which startled Katsuki.

“Fine…” Katsuki sighed.
He agreed to drop it but the next three nights, he was awoken by more terrified screams. On the 4th night, he had enough. He burst the door open and wrapped Izuku in his blanket like a burrito.

“Wh-what are you doing?!”

“Come with me damnit!”
Katsuki hoisted him over his shoulder and brought him to his room before plopping him on his bed. Then he grabbed a spare futon from his closet and laid it on the ground.

“Get some rest, Deku! I’m right here, okay?! Nothing is gonna come for you, no one is getting past me!”
“Kacchan, you don’t have to-”

“Shut it! I don’t wanna hear a peep out of you other than the sound of snoring, got it?! It’s the weekend so you better sleep in!” Katsuki demanded.

Izuku felt awkward in his teachers bed and embarrassed it had to come to this, but…
He couldn’t help but feel warm inside. Kacchan was so nice. He didn’t have to do all this. But he felt so comforted that he would go this far for him. “Thank you…” He mumbled as his eyes drifted shut and for the first time in a long time, he didn’t dream of anything.
TBC 🛌
Katsuki knew that as a teacher, he was totally fucked if anyone found out about his living situation and now he was 10x more fucked if anyone found out about his sleeping situation. He meant it as a once night thing but after seeing how Izuku was after he actually got some sleep,
He encouraged him to keep sleeping in his room. Katsuki didn’t mind the futon on the floor, but Izuku felt bad and ordered himself a twin bed so Katsuki could sleep on his own mattress. It was wildly inappropriate but it didn’t feel that way in the slightest.
Izuku stayed in his own room all the way until he actually needed rest. And by then, Katsuki was usually already asleep. It worked in chasing away his nightmares. He still had them every now and then but just waking up and seeing Katsuki there, kept his mind at peace.
His grades were already good, but they tremendously improved since their new arrangement. His essays were much more clear and concise and his mood sky rocketed. Katsuki could tell from watching him that he became much more involved with his peers, smiling and laughing with them.
Everything was going smooth up until around the holidays.

“Kacchan! Kacchan!”

Katsuki woke up to Deku shaking him awake.

“Huh? Did ya have another nightmare?” Katsuki jolted up groggily.

“No. It’s 7:30! You’re usually at school by now! Did you forget your alarm?”
“SHIT!” Katsuki leapt out of bed and looked around for his clothes. “SHIT SHIT SHIT!”

“Do you need a ride?! If you walk, you’ll be late!” Izuku asked him.

“No! Fuck! Your driver already thinks I’m the door man!” Katsuki threw off his shirt and threw on another one.
“Then I can tell him you’re helping me deliver a science project! He’ll believe me!” Izuku balled his fists.

“I can’t be caught exiting your car with you! Just go get ready! I’ll call Uraraka to watch the class till I get there! Goddamn it!”

“Iida can drop us off a block away”
“I’m fine!” Katsuki furiously shoved his things in his bag and rushed out the door. “I’ll see you in class!”

Izuku pouted to himself after Katsuki left. It wasn’t right. Kacchan had done so much for him and he wanted to be able to help somehow.
He quickly got ready and walked outside where he saw Iida without his car.

“Iida-San?” Izuku blinked.

“Midoriya-kun. My apologies.” Iida cleared his throat. “I paid a visit to Yagi-Sama this weekend and just drove in this morning. I didn’t notice until it was too late…”
“Notice what?” Izuku asked nervously as Iida led him down the block, around the corner to where the car was parked behind an abandoned warehouse.

“I had a stowaway.”

Suddenly the door to the car opened and out leapt Kirishima Eijiro with a big grin on his face.

“Surprise!”
Izuku’s jaw dropped as his ex boyfriend ran to him and threw his arms around him.

“I’m so glad to see you! How have you been?” Ei asked him as he put his arm around him and led him to the back seat, opening the door for him.

“What… are you doing here?!” Izuku gawked.
“I came to see you! Check in! Explore the city!” Eijiro explained happily as he got in the car after Izuku.

“What you have done is horrendously irresponsible!” Iida chastised him as he started the car. “Say the word Midoriya, and I’ll take him straight home!”
Izuku sat in quiet shock as Eijiro ignored Iida and rambled on about his high school until the got about a block away from campus. The two got out of the car and stood just outside so they could talk until the bell rang.

“And that’s why I think you would love Shiketsu!”
“You should come back! Really! I’m here to show you why! I’m here so you know you have a place at home!”

“This is my home now, Ei. I’m happy here!” Izuku protested. “I don’t know why you went through all this trouble… what were you even thinking? Where will you stay?!”
“I was hoping I could crash with you!” Eijiro laughed nervously. “Your mom said you live by yourself! She’s worried about you, man!”

“Well I’m fine! And you can’t stay with me!” Izuku fumed. “I’m sorry, but Iida-San needs to take you home!”

“Izuku-”

“Don’t Izuku me!”
“You left me, remember?! You broke up with me! You don’t get to come here and say I have a place with you!” Izuku teared up in frustration.

“That doesn’t mean we can’t be friends! I still care so deeply about you, it’s crazy! I think about you every day!”
Katsuki ran past the stoplight, ignoring the cars honking at him as he barely made it to campus on time for the bell to ring. He was about to run into the gate but froze when he saw Izuku having a heated conversation with another kid out of uniform. He was crying.
Katsuki snuck behind a nearby vending machine and hid behind it, so he could hear what they were saying in case he needed to step in.

“I don’t want you as a friend! It just seems cruel and unfair to both of us!”

“Izuku, I forgive you, okay?” Eijiro rubbed his arms soothingly.
“I can’t be with you after what you did… it’s hard knowing you sent those kinda pictures to some else but-”

“Shhhh!” Izuku covered his mouth. “Don’t bring those up here!” He whispered harshly. “P-please. Nobody knows about them! And I’d die if they found out!”
He began to hyperventilate. “This is a fresh start for me! A new life! I have friends! Good ones! I don’t need you!”

Eijiro grabbed his hand off his mouth and pulled him into his chest. “I care about you regardless of what you did! You don’t have to pretend! Come home!”
“I have to get to class!” Izuku tried to pry himself away. “Please! I can’t be late!”

“You don’t need this school, Izuku!” Eijiro teared up. “You don’t need to run away anymore!”

“LET ME GO!”

“Hey!” Katsuki ripped Izuku from his arms. “Get your hands off my student!”
“Ka…B-Bakugo-Sensei…” Izuku cried.

“Oh.. sorry sir, I’m a friend of Izuku’s and-”

“I don’t care who you are! Class is about to start! Don’t come near campus again!” Katsuki scolded. “And don’t touch people who obviously don’t want to be touched!”
Katsuki guided Izuku inside the gate while Eijiro shouted something about seeing him after school before running across the street to where Iida had parked and waited for him.

They walked to class together in silence while Izuku tried to calm himself down.

“Um..”
“How long were you… how much of that did you hear?” Izuku asked quietly as they rounded the corner to the classroom. He was shaking all over.

“It doesn’t matter.” Katsuki ruffled his hair. “It doesn’t change what I think about you. It doesn’t change who I know you are.”
Izuku couldn’t help but break down at the confirmation that Kacchan heard about the pictures. He loathed himself. The last person he wanted to hear about what he had done was Kacchan.

“Stay out here. I’m gonna have Nurse Uraraka take you to her office!”
Katsuki walked into the classroom and Izuku sunk into the ground and buried his head in his knees, sobbing. The nurse had at some point gotten him to her office, in the bed but he didn’t register it. He felt nothing but despair as he slipped into another nightmare.
He dreamt of it all again.

“You can call me anything you want, beautiful.”

It all started with a dance. A dance with a handsome stranger. Two years ago.

“I have a boyfriend.”

“So why isn’t he here?”
Izuku smirked and grabbed his hand. He had been overwhelmed with his new life. He loved his new step father and was happy his mom was moving on with her life after his actual father left them. But he couldn’t help but feel sad that he wasn’t the center of her world anymore.
Their life was quaint before. But now he had all of these expectations to live up to. He was the son of Yagi Toshinori. Everyone would have their eyes on him.

Maybe it was the pressure that got to him, but dancing with a handsome older man was just the kind of reckless he needed
His last hurrah before he had to be a prim and proper heir to a comic book empire.

“You’re a little awkward on your feet there.”

“Maybe you’re just a bad leader.” Izuku teased making him laugh.

“You caught me. I can’t dance! Thought I would try with you though.”
Izuku blushed and let him wrap his arms around him as they swayed awkwardly in place.

“You know I’m 14, right?”

“And I’m 20. But who cares about numbers. I’m more of a picture guy. And you’re the prettiest picture I’ve seen.”

“You’re cheesy!” Izuku laughed. “What’s your name?”
The man tilted his chin and looked into his eyes with his striking gold ones. “You’ll find that out soon.” He whispered. “But lets forget names and numbers, pictures and boyfriends. I wanna know how you feel.” He leaned their faces inches apart. “I wanna know how you taste.”
“Um!” Izuku blushed furiously before backing away. “Maybe this was a bad idea.”

“Sorry sorry, I was just teasing you.” The man laughed. “You’re adorable when you’re flustered. See ya around Izuku!” He waved him off.

“I… I guess?” Izuku still had no clue who he was.
A month after the wedding, he went with Yagi-San to his business partner’s home.

“Takami is more business-savvy than I am. He handles the money side of things. His son is just as intelligent! A young man with a bright future. He’s currently studying at the top university!”
“Oh wow!” Izuku blinked before writing in his notebook. He absorbed everything Yagi-San taught him like a sponge. He wanted more than anything to make him proud.

“His name is Keigo and he is going to be your tutor starting today!”
Izuku wrote down his name and followed his step father inside the luxurious mansion. The servants led them to an office where a man greeted them warmly.

“Yagi, welcome back. And hello Izuku! My Keigo here is so glad to have you.”

“It’s nice to-”
Izuku began to say before he dropped his notebook after he recognized Takami’s son. It was him. The guy from the wedding. “I-it’s you?!”

“You guys know each other?” Yagi questioned.

“We met at your wedding, Yagi-San.” Keigo laughed nervously.
“Izuku here showed me where the bathroom was!”

“R-right!” Izuku nodded.

“Great! You get along then!” Yagi grinned. “I guess we should leave you two to get acquainted then! I’ll be back in a few hours, Izuku.” He pet his head. “Do your best!”
As soon as they were alone, Keigo bowed his head an apologized.

“I’m so sorry about how I behaved at the wedding!” He laughed. “Gosh, I was so wasted! I probably said all kinds of stupid things! Honest… but stupid to say out loud!”

“Um…” Izuku shuffled awkwardly.
“I-it’s fine!” He was sure he didn’t detect a single drop of alcohol on his breath. But he just hoped they could forget what happened and move on.

“Let’s start over! I’m Takami Keigo! But you can just call me Keigo!”

“I’m Midoriya Izuku! And you can call me whatever!”
“Alright Izuku,” He offered his hand. “Let’s dive in to the world of business together!”

Izuku nodded gratefully before grabbing it. “Thank you! I trust Yagi-San left me in very capable hands.”

Keigo grinned before pulling him forward. “You have no idea.”
TBC 📚
The first month or so with Keigo was normal. Izuku almost forgot about his behavior at the wedding as he took him under his wing. Yagi-san was right that he was extremely intelligent. He was a great tutor too.
Izuku learned a lot about the business side of comics within those first two months. It made him feel less nervous about going into what was now the family business. Yagi never thought he would have anyone to pass it on to, but he told Izuku he saw a lot of potential in him and
was proud to call him his son.

Izuku found Keigo endlessly fascinating. He found a sense of humor in even the darkest of situations. He taught Izuku that the secret to business was to treat it like a game. If you take it too seriously, you can’t possibly see things objectively.
Your own convictions will be your downfall. At the end of the day, it was all stupid people trying to make money off of earnest people’s passions.

Keigo found Izuku fascinating too. He told him that he loved to hear him ramble what was going on in his brain.
“It’s amazing to hear from someone who thinks so much. I’m kinda the opposite. I just go with the first thing that pops in my head. But you think and think and overthink! I could hear you talk all day!”

Izuku had never had his awkward habits praised like that before.
He’d never heard someone as cool as Keigo call him ‘amazing’. Even Ei would tell him he needed to shut his brain off every once in a while. It made him feel… special. Keigo would talk to him like a grown up. He had an honest way of speaking that most adults didn’t.
He would tell Izuku about his various escapades and confide in him about his insecurities and thoughts about the state of the world.

“I feel like I can tell you these things. You’re the only one I really trust for some reason. I don’t have many friends.” Keigo had told him.
“You consider us friends?” Izuku blushed.

“Oh I sure hope so or this would be embarrassing!” Keigo cackled and Izuku couldn't help but feel extremely happy. He was so nervous about this huge change in his life, and having someone in this world on his side,
guiding him through it meant everything to him. He admired and looked up to Keigo. He adored everything about him, so when things took an uncomfortable turn, he overlooked it. Over and over again.
Looking back, Keigo had jumped so far over the line, him teetering on the edge seemed normal.

“What are you wearing today, Izuku?”

“Oh sorry! I went swimming with Ei earlier and didn’t have time to change before today’s session, I hope this is okay!”
Izuku was wearing his All Might swim trunks which were extremely short, riding above his thigh.
“Oh it’s more than okay, Izuku.” Keigo smirked. “Just don’t walk in front of me too often. Or do. Up to you.”

He would make comments like that frequently.
And then the pictures started. One time Izuku was eating a banana as a snack when suddenly, his tutor snapped a photo on his phone. He told Izuku he had recently taken up photography as a hobby and he had become his muse. Izuku took it as a compliment at the time.
He would let Keigo take as many pictures as he wanted, no matter how random they seemed to be. When he was reading, when he had his pencil in his mouth, when he was eating ice cream, when he bent down to pick something up, when he got stuck in a bush,
when he got excited about something, when he fell asleep waiting for Yagi to pick him up.

Izuku never really questioned it, he was just glad Keigo found joy in something. Then things took a strange turn. Whenever Izuku would go out, he would randomly bump into Keigo.
It didn’t matter where he went, the movies, the hiking trail, the amusement park, the circus, he would bump into Keigo!

“Looks like we’re just fated to run into each other, huh?”

Izuku had an uneasy feeling about the whole thing so on his next date with Eijiro,
he left his phone at home. And sure enough, he went the whole day at the aquarium without seeing his tutor at all.

Their next session, Izuku confronted him about it and to his shock, Keigo didn’t deny that he tracked his location with his phone.

“You caught me.”
He giggled while raising his hands up. “Truthfully I’m kind of obsessed with you.”

Izuku should have shut everything down then. But he stupidly was flattered by the whole thing. To have someone as amazing as Keigo claim to be obsessed with him.
Izuku didn’t know just how literally he meant that.

“I don’t like the way he looks at you.” Eijiro had expressed concern one day.

“What do you mean?” Izuku blinked.

“He looks like he’s waiting for an opportunity, I don’t know.”

“What kind of opportunity?”
“To steal you away!”

“Ei, that’s ridiculous!” Izuku laughed him off. “Keigo-sensei is just my tutor. You have nothing to worry about.”

That night, Izuku walked home to find him in his bed.

“K-Keigo?!”

“Shhh! Shh! Not so loud!”

“What are you doing here?!”
Izuku whispered frantically.

“I thought we would have an impromptu sleepover!” Keigo grinned while holding up matching sleep masks. “Afterall, that’s what friends do, right?”

Izuku felt nervous at the prospect.
It was obvious he did not intend to use his guest futon. But, he naively believed his intentions were pure. Keigo seemed like an excited puppy and Izuku felt sorry for him. He knew how lonely he was. He woke up with his arms around him, and his head buried in his neck.
“Hmmm? You say something?”

“I think this was a bad idea. I have a b-boyfriend.”

“So you keep reminding me, and yet we always end up in these positions, huh, Izuku?”

Izuku turned to face him to protest and that’s when they had their first kiss.

“Y-you need to leave!”
Izuku shoved him out of his bed, mortified. “I can’t do this! I’m not a cheater!”

“Then dump him, what’s the problem?” Keigo laughed again like it was some big joke.

“This isn’t funny! Or a game!” Izuku blushed.

“You’re the one who’s giving me mixed signals."
You can make it stop anytime you want to. Yet you haven’t told old man Toshinori. You haven’t told your mother, or your boyfriend. You’re perfectly content letting me get away with what I can, huh?” Keigo smiled almost sweetly.
“That’s why this is so funny to me.”

Izuku didn’t know what to say to that. Was he right? Did he want this? That would make him a terrible person. “I’m sorry… I…”

“Hey.” Keigo stood up and sat next to him on the bed, grabbing his hand.
“I’ll try to back off, okay? I didn’t realize you were so uncomfortable.”

He kept his promise for a little while. Things were strictly professional. He didn’t confide in him anymore. He didn’t talk to him like a friend. He didn’t give him special attention.
He was his tutor and nothing else. Izuku wished he was content with that. But he couldn’t help but feel like he did something wrong. He couldn’t help but crave his attention. He even found himself wearing the swim trunks again despite not going swimming.
But the pictures stopped, the jokes stopped, everything stopped.

“What’s wrong?” Keigo sighed one day at Izuku’s solemn mood.

“N-nothing.” Izuku looked away, hiding the embarrassed tears that prickled in his eyes.

“You’re easy to read, Midoriya-kun."
I know when something is wrong.”

There it was. The pain in Izuku’s chest at the use of his last name. He couldn’t help but cry.

“I’m s-sorry. I just.. I really liked being your f-friend! And I know I see you all the time, but I miss you! And..”
“You’re so confusing.” Keigo laughed. “If you wanted to continue being friends, you should have just said so. I’m sorry, Izuku.” He wiped his tears. “I just don’t understand what you want.”

After that, things went back to normal. Or as normal as they could be between them.
It seemed Keigo finally figured out what his boundaries actually were and he respected them. And then he had a new business venture.

“Lingerie?!” Izuku blushed.

“I know! I know! It’s silly! But there’s a huge market in selling fantasy, you know?!”
Keigo laid out his whole business plan to him. He wanted it to be for anyone. Any gender, any body type, and any kind of fantasy you could think of. Izuku was blown away by how philanthropic he made it all sound. “Would you like to model for me?”
“H-huh?! Me?!”

“It would just be for my references! You just have that look, you know?!” Keigo made a screen with his fingers. “Everyone’s fantasy.”

“Y-you really think so?!” Izuku always thought he was plain. Eijiro would tell him he was cute, but he had never been called sexy
He didn’t think anyone would fantasize about him.

“Yeah. If you were of age, I’d have you be my star! But everyone cares about numbers out there, so I just need a few photos so I know what to look for when scouting models. Whaddya say? No one will see it but me!”
Izuku didn’t know what got into his head. How he got so caught up in Keigo’s world that he agreed without hesitation. He thought he looked ridiculous in every look he modeled but Keigo praised him constantly, telling him the more awkward the better.
And after awhile, he believed him when he told him he was beautiful. There was one piece, a white lace corset, he even asked him if he could keep.

“Go ahead. It was meant for you.”

After their photoshoot, Keigo forgot his boundaries again.
It seemed he would use any excuse he could to touch him. Izuku spoke up this time, but instead of understanding like before, Keigo got frustrated with him.

"Izuku, you're a cruel person. Do you realize that?" He had said after he freaked out when Keigo pulled him in to his lap.
"Cruel?!" Izuku tried to wiggle off of him, but it was no use. Keigo was stronger than he looked.

"You know how I feel about you, don't you?" He grabbed his face. "I tried to leave you be but that wasn't enough for you. You posed so prettily for me, and yet you push me away.."
Keigo then smashed their lips together, making Izuku panic.

"Please stop!" He shreiked. "Stop or I'll tell Yagi-san to get me a new tutor!" He threatened with tears pouring down his face.

"Izuku.." Keigo looked at him darkly. "I don't think you want to do that."
He kissed his neck sending shivers down his spine.

"Please stop..."

"I can't... now that I have you right here, you're all I want."

"Stop!" Izuku slapped him and ran. He didn't wait for his driver that time. He ran out the door an never looked back.
When he got home, he collapsed into his mothers arms and told her everything.

"Oh Izuku!" She cried and held him. "I'm so glad you came to me! You'll never go there again, okay?! You're safe here... you're safe!"

She told Yagi-san what happened and he profusely apologized.
He cut ties with his business partner without hesitation. Izuku felt guilty because he knew how long they had worked together. But Yagi-san explained to him that he thought of him as his own son and he would do anything to protect him.

Izuku thought that would be the end.
That week, he went to school and had an uneasy feeling. Everyone was staring at him and whispering as he passed by. When he got inside class, Eijiro was crying while all their classmates surrounded him.

"Ei! What's wro-" Izuku began to say when his friend, Tsu, slapped him.
"How dare you!" She cried.

"Tsu, please." Eijiro stood up and walked toward Izuku, putting his arm around him and leading him out of the class.

"Ei, what's happening?!"

"It's over..." He said under his breath. "Izuku... we're done."

"Why?! I-"
“Don’t play so innocent!” Eijiro cried angrily. “You thought I would never find out, huh?! I… I never expected this from you!” He shoved a crumpled up piece of paper in his hands. Izuku opened it and felt his stomach sink when he saw what it was.

A photo of him in ligerie
It was edited to appear like it came from a text. With a follow up text being:

‘For you, love Izuku xoxo’

“Where… did you get this?!” He began to hyperventilate.

“They were posted all over campus! I tried to tear them all down! Because despite everything, I still care!”
“Midoriya.” Their teacher, and principal rounded the corner of the hall. “My office now.”

Izuku felt his whole world crash. His parents were called. They were shown the pictures. Yagi defended him but his mom looked numb.

“Why would you do this?” She had asked him.
Everything was tense at home. Yagi and his mom got in a huge argument about what to do. His future was completely jeopardized. Some of the kids had even posted the posters on social media. But Yagi sent his team after them to force them to take them down.
Izuku learned very quickly what it meant to come from a powerful family. If Yagi wanted something to disappear, it would. His slate was wiped clean but his classmates still hated him. His mom was still disappointed in him. He was ruthlessly bullied.
And then the phone calls started.

“Hello?”

“How does it feel, Izuku? Everyone hates you now, right?”

“K-Keigo…” Izuku cried. “Why did you do that?!”

“I needed to show you… nobody understands you but me. Come back… you don’t have to go through this alone.”
Izuku hung up on him and blocked his number immediately. But he never stopped calling. He would call the house phone, Toshinori’s business phone, his mother’s cell phone. All with frequent demands to give Izuku to him or the pictures would go everywhere.
The police were called but Takami was equally as powerful as Toshinori. They couldn’t do anything to him.

Izuku was terrified every day. He didn’t have a safe place. One night, he even woke up to a baseball crashing through his window. Written on it was ‘Just give in’
The harassment didn’t stop with him. He would terrorize his mother too. Sending the pictures to her phone. The bullying at school got so bad, he had to be home schooled but his mom didn’t trust anyone after Keigo. She was absolutely miserable, it broke Izuku’s heart.
They lived every day in fear and the stress got so bad, his mother had to be hospitalized. Yagi used every resource at his disposal to finally get Keigo behind bars but that only lasted for so long. He was released on house arrest and the first thing he did was call the hospital
Izuku’s mom had a small heart attack and almost didn’t make it. Izuku was wrecked with guilt. He couldn’t sleep, eat, or even move, he was so petrified.

Yagi had enough. He did everything in his power to get Izuku as far away from Keigo and his grasp as he could.
He wanted Izuku to live freely and happily and not in fear. He knew what he needed was a fresh start. Izuku was in no place to refuse. He desperately wanted to be free. He never wanted to hear Keigo’s voice again.

“Mom… when you’re out of here, will you come with me?”
Izuku asked her at the hospital after Yagi explained his plans.

“The place is big enough for both of you. And of course I will visit often!” Yagi informed her.

“Izuku… I’ve failed you… maybe it’s best we all get a fresh start. Maybe it’s best you live away from me…”
Izuku felt his heart shatter in that moment. But he tried to be strong for her.

“I understand…”

“It’s not that I don’t want you, Izuku… Izuku!”

He couldn’t do it anymore. He was broken. He ran into the parking lot and sobbed his eyes out.
He felt a dark cloud hanging over him as he packed his life up and moved across the county. He knew it was for the best, but he felt so sad.. so lonely.. so scared… and then he met him.

“Kacchan…” Izuku mumbled in his sleep.

“Kacchan?” Uraraka blinked. “I wonder who that is.”

Back to top if you’re just catching up!
As soon as the bell rang for class to get out, Katsuki rushed to the nurses office.

“How is he?!” He said as he kicked open the door.

“Hi Bakugo-kun. I’m doing fine, thanks for asking. Oh, you’re welcome covering for your class!” Ochaco said sarcastically.
“Yeah yeah, thanks whatever, just tell me how Midoriya is.” Katsuki seethed under his breath.

“He’s fine, sleeping peacefully now.” Ochaco said as she peeked behind the curtain. “He was tossing and turning before, poor kid. Looked like he was having a nightmare.”
“What happened? I saw you grab him from someone! Was he being kidnapped?!” Ochaco gasped.

“No. It was just some brat bothering him, I don’t know.” Katsuki shrugged.

“Maybe some guy trying to steal his girlfriend.” Ochaco chuckled.

“He doesn’t have one of those.”
Katsuki rolled his eyes.

“You sure about that?” Ochaco giggled evily as she walked to Katsuki and whispered in his ear. “He was mumbling a girls name in his sleep. Seemed to be the thing to get his nightmares to stop. ‘Kacchan, Kacchan’.” She mimicked and Katsuki went red.
“I see…” He turned away so she couldn’t see his face.

“I think it’s sweet. But you should go prepare for your next class. I’ll tell you when he wakes up, okay?” Ochaco smiled. “You did a good thing by stepping in. You’re a sweetheart even if you pretend not to be!”

“Shut it!”
Katsuki snapped.

“Shh!” Ochaco put her finger to her lips. “He’s still asleep.” She whispered.

Katsuki rolled his eyes and went to his class but damnit, his heart was doing that annoying thing again. Clenching in his chest. He tried to ignore it and focus on his papers.
But he was still worried about Izuku. Whoever that kid was mentioned waiting for him after school, and Katsuki didn't want him to face him alone, but it wasn't like he could walk him to his car or anything. That annoying driver would have too many questions.
He couldn't help but be angry on his behalf. Just what kind of pictures was he holding over Izuku's head?! Regardless, it was a shitty thing to bring up outside of campus where anyone could overhear.

Izuku jolted awake in the nurses office, confused.

"Wh-where am I?!"
"Oh. You're awake!" Nurse Uraraka said chipperly as she opened the curtain surrounding his bed.

Izuku blinked at her bright shiny smile. Kaminari was right that she was really beautiful. And she was Kacchan's... Kacchan used to...

"Are you okay? Other kids can be so mean!"
"Um..." Izuku tried to remember what she was talking about. Right. Kirishima was here. He had stewed away in Iida's car. He had confronted him in front of the school. "I'm.. okay."

"Midoriya-kun, right?" Uraraka clarified his name as she sat next to him.

"Yes." Izuku nodded.
"You should know you're safe here." She said sweetly. "I legally can't tell a soul anything you say. So, why don't you tell me what happened? You were really upset." She held his hand and squeezed it. "Maybe I can help."

Great. She wasn't only pretty, she was kind too.
"I'd rather not." Izuku grumbled. "I'm sorry for all the trouble." He stood up. "I should get to class."

"Wait! You passed out suddenly. You should drink some water! Here!" She gave him a water bottle.

Izuku accepted it begrudgingly drank from it.
"You should know that Bakugo-sensei was really worried about you. He stopped by earlier and broke my door down like a goblin."

Izuku spit out his water and felt his face flush. That's when he remembered that Kirishima-kun had mentioned the pictures and Kacchan had overheard...
"Damnit!" Izuku buried his face in his hands and sunk to the bed.

"Ah! What's wrong? Do you need more tissues?!" She frantically looked around.

"No I... I'm fine. I'm just embarrassed is all." Izuku sniffled. "Bakugo-sensei didn't have to help me..."

"Midoriya,"
"Your job as a student is to learn. You can't do that if people are bothering you. It's our jobs as teachers to make your life here as easy as possible."

"Right..." Izuku said solemnly.

"But that doesn't mean we don't have our own personal feelings too."
Uraraka said while putting her hand on his shoulder. "Bakugo-kun.. I- I mean Bakugo-sensei isn't the type to go out of his way to get involved in other people's business unless he really cares about them! He must really like you!" She beamed.

"You think so?"
Izuku couldn't help but perk up.

"I know so! He got all embarrassed when I pointed it out!" She snickered. "He's really bad at hiding how he truly feels. So you must feel lucky being one of his favorites."

Izuku smiled at her observation and felt bad for not liking her.
But she was just too perfect. He couldn't help but feel jealous. Of course Kacchan spent his lunches with her. Anyone would.

"You can stay as long as you want, but if you're in a hurry to go, take this!" She handed him a solid gold All Might pen.

"Y-you like All Might?!"
"Shh!" Uraraka put her finger to her lips. "That will be out secret!" She winked. She actually didn't know a thing about the hero. But she did heavy research on all the high profile students on campus. Afterall, she didn't want to live forever as a nurse.
UA was rife with kids who had old, rich, divorced parents. Midoriya Izuku's mother was still in the picture, but based on her recent health scare, it wouldn't be for long. If things with Katsuki didn't work out, she had several back up plans.
And winning Yagi Toshinori's heart by showing how much she cared for his poor step son who was struggling with grief and a new life was one of them. She could see it now. Married into an empire. Mrs. Yagi Ochako! She could taste the money on her fingertips!
That's why she went out and bought that pen for this very situation! She could tell the kid was warming up to her too!

"Well.. um, thank you!" Izuku grabbed the pen. "I shoudl get to class!" He still didn't like her... but he was very easily bribed.
By the time Izuku left the nurses office, it was lunch time. He hoped no one noticed he was missing. But his hopes were dashed when he walked into the cafeteria and got swarmed by his friends.

"MIDORIYAAAAAA!" Kaminari cried. "What happened to you?! Who was that guy?!"
"We were gonna do something but we saw Bakugo-sensei there and left it to him!" Mina threw her arms around him. "Otherwise, he would have beat him up ourselves!"

"Seriously, though, are you alright?!" Rody asked frantically.

"I'm... fine." Izuku smiled gratefully.
He felt all sorts of warm feelings, having friends that supported him. But he also felt his stomach twist at the thought of all of them turning against him just like the ones back home once they find out what he did. It felt like he was playing pretend.
He almost felt like he was stealing their affection. And as soon as they laid one eye on those pictures, they would reject him. Just like Ei… just like his friends… just like Mom…

“I’m sorry for worrying you!” Izuku swallowed the lump in his throat.
“That was my ex boyfriend from my old school… he stewed away in my driver’s car. I think he thought he could convince me to move back home but… I like it here! I like all of you guys!” He informed them. So what if he was stealing… so what if it was pretend.. it was comforting.
The rest of the the day went by smoothly. After the last bell rang, everyone surrounded him.

“We’re gonna escort you to your car.” Mina announced.

“And get in it if you want us to come over!” Rody said eagerly.

“Oh… I can’t have guests but… thank you, really.”
Izuku nodded, feeling warm. “I just have to drop something off at Bakugo-Sensei’s classroom.”

“Then let’s go! Onward March!” Kaminari ordered.

Izuku laughed as they all clung onto each others shoulders, making a train to Kacchan’s class.
“What are you dorks doing?” Katsuki scoffed as they stopped in front of his door.

“We are forming a fortress!” Denki announced.

“Protecting the goods from invaders!” Mina added while squishing Izuku’s face.

“I-I just came by to give you this!” Izuku blushed.
He bowed and handed him a letter then everyone proceeded to say goodbye to their teacher as they helped escort Izuku off campus. Katsuki watched them from his window and felt relieved that Izuku had others in his corner who would make sure he got home safely.
He could see from how high he was that that guy was indeed waiting for him outside.

“Kirishima-kun.” Izuku greeted him nervously.

“Hey. And uh, hi?” Eijiro greeted all of his friends who surrounded him.

“So you’re the ex, huh?” Rody looked him up and down. “You made him cry.”
“Rody, it’s-” Izuku began to protest when Eijiro interrupted.

“I’m just a concerned friend! Someone who cares about him a lot and wants him home where he belongs.”

“He belongs here with us!” Mina fumed. “His lovers.”

“HUH?!” Ei and Izuku said at once.

“That’s right!”
Kaminari wrapped his arms around Izuku. “He’s our boyfriend now!”

Sero ruffled Izuku’s hair then kissed his forehead. “He doesn’t need you!”

“We made sure he’s extra welcome here.” Rody winked before grabbing Izuku’s hand and kissing it. “So buzz off!”
“Oh…. I see.” Kirishima scoffed. “Cheating on me didn’t work so you just went and did what you truly wanted the right way, huh?!”

“Ei!” Izuku warned him.

“I bet the they all have their own collections of your pictures, huh?! Or do you not know about what kind of lover he is?!”
“Stop it! Please!” Izuku cried. “They’re just my friends! They’re just trying to protect m-me! They-”

“They don’t know that you posed in lingerie for some other guy, huh?!”

“AND I BET HE LOOKED ADORABLE!” Mina screamed.

“Huh?” Izuku blinked.
“It’s not like Izuku to cheat! I bet someone tricked him!” Rody crossed his arms. “Izuku, why did you pose in lingerie for some other guy? What kind of other guy?”

“M-my tutor.. he.. he had a business and he said he just needed a model for a reference and I..”
“I fell for it but I didn’t want to cheat! I didn’t want him to touch me and he got mad and put the pictures all over school and I’m really sorry Ei, I was so stupid!” Izuku cried. “You warned me and I fell for it anyway! I’m sorry guys, I was an awful person!”
“Wait… it was Keigo?!” Eijiro blinked.

“Did you seriously never ask him why?!” Rody scoffed.

“How old was this tutor?!” Denki asked angrily.

“He’s 22 now..” Izuku grumbled. “But-”

Mina threw her arms around him and everyone else joined suit. “What a creep!”
“We don’t look at you any different!” Denki insisted.

“Yeah, we’d never hold that against you!” Rody agreed.

“Go back to where you came from!” Sero turned to Ei. “Izuku’s home is here!”

Izuku broke down sobbing. He couldn’t believed his luck.
“Is there another problem here?!” Katsuki rushed out of the gate, pretending he was out of breath and didn’t rush run down to eavesdrop the second he saw his students run into Kirishima.

“No sir…” Eijiro said dejectedly as he looked at his feet. “I was just leaving.”
After getting comfort from everyone, Izuku ordered Iida to take Kirishima straight home.

“I can walk home, it’s okay.”

“Nonsense! I’ll drop you off first!” Iida declared.

“It’s fine, Iida-San. The doorman was in the area and said he would walk me home.”
After a small argument, Iida eventually agreed as long Izuku agreed to doc his pay for not noticing this stew away in the first place.

“I’ll pass it on to Yagi-San!”

He wouldn’t but he was glad to walk home with Kacchan. It was in silence for the most part.
But about halfway through, Izuku got tired.

“How much longer do we have?” Izuku questioned.

“About 15 more minutes.” Katsuki shrugged.

“B-but we’ve been walking for 15 minutes!” Izuku gawked.

“What, a little exercise too much for you, rich boy?!”
“No it’s just… I feel bad! You walk 30 minutes to and from work each day?!”

“I like the walk.” Katsuki shrugged. “It’s a pretty scenery. The weathers fine. I got nothing to complain about.”

“I see..” Izuku sighed. “What if I buy you a car?”

“Deku, don’t start with that!”
“Really! You’ve done so much for me! You… today meant a lot to me. I’m so grateful! I want to show you my appreciation!” Izuku sniffled. “I…”

Katsuki suddenly stopped walking. “It wasn’t your fault.”

“Huh?”

“The pictures that brat was talking about.”
Izuku bit his lip and looked his feet. There was no point in avoiding the subject now. “It was… I wasn’t forced to take them… I did it because I felt pretty… I felt grown up. Special. I have no one to blame but myself.”

“Exactly. Anyone at your age would feel that way.”
“And anyone at the creep who asked you take em’s age would know that.” Katsuki growled. “You’re young and dumb and you’re allowed to be young and dumb. It’s up to grown ups to not take advantage of that!”

“I’m not that young.” Izuku pouted. “Is that what you see me as? A kid?!”
“I see you as someone who doesn’t deserved what happened to you.” Katsuki ruffled his hair. “Quit punishing yourself for someone else’s mistakes. You said you wanted a fresh start, right? You can’t really run from what happened. But you can rely on people to help.”
“And I’m one of those people!” He said as they got the gate of the apartment complex. “You don’t need to get me a freakin’ car. You’ve helped me enough! I should be thanking you!”

“Then… how about we do something this weekend! Just the two of us! We can go out of town!”
Izuku suggested.

“I’m not sure if that’s…”

“Please!!” Izuku begged with those big doe eyes that were impossible to resist. “I think it would help get my mind off things! It would make me really happy!”

Katsuki stared at him and sighed, relenting.

“You’re gonna get me fired.”
He couldn’t say no to him.

“Hakamada-Sensei… this flower was stupidly long and blue so I brought it to show you how stupid it was.” 16 year old Katsuki grumbled as he slammed it on his teacher’s desk.

“I see, Bakugou-kun.” The teacher smiled softly before crushing it and throwing it in the trash.
“HEY! YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO TOSS IT!” Katsuki fumed.

“Oh, but I did.” Hakamada did a slight bow of apology. “I am flattered you thought of me.”

“ONLY CAUSE IT WAS STUPID LIKE YOU!”

“Yes, but you see Bakugo-kun, I as your teacher have a responsibility.” He said seriously.
“I took you under my wing because I want to help you. But there is a firm line I must draw.” He drew a line on the chalkboard behind him. “You said you want to be a teacher so listen closely. Kids your age have fragile hearts.”
“They put their hopes and dreams in anything. They may seem talk like adults, they may act like adults, some may even look like adults. But they are children at the end of the day. If you give them even the slightest bit of hope that this line can be crossed,”
“you are just asking to destroy what little is left of their youth. So I apologize for hurting your feelings, but I’d rather do that than risk you mistaking my guidance as anything but the care a teacher has for their student.”

“Whatever.” Katsuki had grumbled, embarrassed.
“You’ll understand when you’re older.” Hakamada smiled at him. “This line is very easily blurred. Anyone who doesn’t bother to keep it firm has no business standing in front of a classroom.”

“Kacchan?” Izuku snapped Katsuki out of his thoughts.
They had passed a blue flower field on the way to this surprise destination he had planned for them. Izuku ordered them a taxi to take them god knows where after he woke him up suddenly Saturday morning.

“What?” Katsuki cleared his throat.

“I asked if you were hungry!”
“I packed some onigiri for us since I figured the trip will be a little long and we didn’t have time to eat breakfast!”

“Where exactly are you taking me?” Katsuki sighed, feeling conflicted. Why did he agree to this?! He was so stupid.

“I told you!” Izuku giggled excitedly.
“It’s a surprise!”

Katsuki didn’t like surprises. Especially from rich kids with way too much money to know what was logical! He could be whisking him away to Hawaii or Paris or Egypt for all he knew! The both of them likely had wildly different definitions for ‘our of town’.
“Fine.” Katsuki grumbled before grabbing the onigiri and frowning when he saw that it was made to look like him. “Deku, what the hell is this?”

“I heard a little cannibalism is healthy!” Izuku beamed making Katsuki snort.

“You’re such a dork.”

“Eat it! It’s really good!”
Katsuki shoved it in his mouth so he didn’t have to look at it and was shocked to feel the spicy after taste. “Holy shit…” He marveled after he swallowed. “What’d you put in this?!”

“I know you like spicy foods so I made the center with siracha and cream cheese!”
“Do you like it?” Izuku looked at him expectantly, with those large eyes and a wobbly smile. He thought back to Hakamada-Sensei who in his shoes would have chucked the rest out the window. That would be the right thing to do. It would be the best thing for Izuku.
But damnit, he couldn’t bring himself to crush him.

“It looks stupid, but it tastes good.” Katsuki said begrudgingly.

“I’m glad!” Izuku grinned wide. “Mine looks like me too. See?” He showed him the cucumber filled rice ball. “It might be silly,”
“But… I don’t know, I guess I’ve been in a really good mood lately! You, my friends… everyone here is so amazing. I…” He teared up. “I’m so happy. I haven’t been able to feel like this in a long time. I forgot what it feels like… to look forward to something.”
“So thank you for coming with me! I hope you have fun!”

Katsuki stared at him and felt nothing but fondness. He should feel guilty. He should work harder at unblurring the the hopelessly butchered line between them. But…

“As long as you’re not roping me into a cult!”
“How’d you know?!” Izuku teased.

“The second I see anything being sacrificed, I’m walking home!”

“Kacchan, you ARE the sacrifice!”

“I will run out of this car now!”

“Driver-San! Please lock the door!”

“I’ll break the damn window!!”
After another hour playfully bickering, the diver finally dropped them at the their destination.

Katsuki was white as a sheet when he saw where they were.

“Is this-??”

“Its the hiking trail to the Mt. Aso Volcano! I noticed you had a calendar of hiking destinations and-”
“you stared at this one in particular when October came around!” Izuku observed. “We can buy some gear at the shop here if you want to do the more difficult trail, otherwise, we can do the small scenic one in what we have!”

“Uh-“ Katsuki tried to clear the lump in his throat.
“The scenic route is fine. I doubt you could keep up with me on the difficult trail…” Katsuki grumbled as he looked away. But damnit, he was flustered as hell! How dare he be so thoughtful! Katsuki had wanted to go on this trail for years but never had the time to make the trip!
“Oh, sorry! We could do two separate trails if you want! I-”

“No, this is great.” Katsuki roughly ruffled his hair and shoved him. “Now come on! Let’s get up in time before all the tourists crowd the view!”

“O-okay!” Izuku blushed happily. He could tell, Kacchan was excited.
Which meant his plan was working!

He had been nervously planning all week for something for them to do when he noticed Mina reading one of her gossip magazines. On the front page was ad for an article ‘How to seem more mature for your man!’
“Um… Ashido-San, do you mind if I… borrow your magazine for the day? I’ll bring it back!”

“Ooo, you want the low down on the latest gossip!” She giggled. “Or are you interested in the personality quizzes or… OH MY GOD ARE YOU IN LOVE??”

“Shhh!” Izuku blushed. “Not so loud!”
“Who is it?!” She squealed. “I can help!!!”

“I-can’t say…I’m not sure it’s love exactly but it’s… I don’t know.” Izuku put his head in his hands. “He just makes me really happy..”

“A crush then?!” She swooned.

“I guess?! But he wouldn’t like that if he found out…”
“Midoriya…” She slammed the magazine down. “That’s why he won’t find out! The key is to make him have a crush on you first! Men are very easy to seduce!”

“S-seduce?!”

“Watch this!” Mina stood up and tapped a random guy on the shoulder.

“Hello?”

“Excuse me..”
She acted shy. “Is that a speed racer sticker on your water bottle?”

“Y-you like anime?” He perked up.

“Just a little.” She twirled her hair. “Thought I’d love to learn more about it!”

“GO OUT WITH ME THEN!”

“Oh, I can’t! I’m a nun in training!”

“Huh?”

“Bye now!”
She skipped to Izuku and did a dramatic curtsy before sitting next to him.

“See? Stupidly easy.” She giggled.

“Wow. That was amazing.” Izuku blinked.

“You just gotta learn what they like! Once you got that ace up your sleeve, the rest will be easy.” She handed him the magazine
Izuku studied it all week and made lots of notes. He didn’t know what he was hoping for. Kacchan was a good person and probably wouldn’t want to be with him in that way but… he wanted to be closer to him. He wanted him to think of him as more than just a kid.
He had checked off a lot of boxes that the magazine advised.

✅ Take him somewhere HE’LL enjoy. If he sees you getting to excited, he’ll picture you as a kid in a candy store! Not the image you’re going for!

✅ Plan everything. It will show him that you can take charge!
✅ Pack a lunch. You don’t want him swooning over a waitress! Have him praise your skills instead!

Now all that was left was to enjoy the trip. He hoped his efforts wouldn’t be in vain. He just had to do his best!

The trail was beautiful and Katsuki was having a great time.
He always had a way of forgetting who he was when he was hiking on a trail. The scenery, the weather, the wilderness, it made him detach from everything that stressed him out. It made him feel so small in the grand scheme of things. Izuku needed extra help on the hike,
but it was fun watching him try and keep up. He was always someone who tried harder than most. Life didn’t come easy to him. Even with all the money that fell into his lap, struggle after struggle was thrown at him. And yet he kept going. It was inspiring.
“Let’s stop and rest.” Katsuki suggested when they got to a clearing with lots of rocks to sit on.

“I could keep going!” Izuku said as he was very obviously out of breath.

“Deku, come on.” Katsuki gave him a water bottle. “10 minutes isn’t gonna hurt anyone.”
“O…okay.” Izuku blushed before grabbing the water and guzzling it. They sat in silence for awhile, enjoying the quiet breeze.

“This was a good idea.” Katsuki noted. “Thanks. I’m glad I came.”

“Me too!” Izuku beamed. “I’m glad we could do this together!”

“Yeah…”
Katsuki couldn’t lie, he did enjoy his company. He was smart, funny, dorky and not bad to look at at all. If he was a few years older, he would… shit.

“I had to blow off that coffee date with Todoroki, though. Maybe you should help me make it up to him by getting him flowers.”
“Oh…” Izuku stood up and marched forward.

“Where are you going?!”

“I’m ready to keep walking on the trail!”

“We can still rest for-”

“I don’t need anymore rest!” Izuku said frantically before he slipped on a pebble and fell. “AHHH!”
Katsuki felt his heart sink into his stomach as he heard the sound of the impact Izuku’s head made with the ground.

“DEKU!” He rushed by his side and pulled his head into his lap. “Shit! You’re bleeding!”

“Im…fine…” Izuku whimpered as tears poured out of his eyes.
“No. You’re not! We gotta get you back!” Katsuki reached into his backpack and grabbed a clean cloth and a water bottle. He poured it on and put pressure on the wound.

“I’m fine… I’m just…” Izuku sobbed. “Stupid. I’m really really stupid.”
“No you’re not! That pebble came out of nowhere!” Katsuki tried to assure him as he carried him in his arms. Truthfully, it was his own fault. He was stupid to say something to upset Izuku in the wilderness. Hiking shouldn’t be done when your emotions aren’t stable.
Which was why Katsuki tried his best to keep from looking at him as he trekked back down the volcano. His heart was filled with anxiety. He felt like he was dying seeing Izuku hurt like that. It wasn’t just the fall. It was his face before he got up. He crushed him.
He remembered how he felt when Hakamada-sensei threw his flower in the trash. He remembered the lesson he gave him. Surely he did the right thing but… it felt like shit at the time. And this was way more than just a stupid flower Izuku picked. He went all out.
Katsuki was the one who agreed to the damn trip out of town. Doing the right thing just seemed wrong.

“You know Izuku…” Katsuki held him tightly. “I meant you should help me pick him flowers to say sorry. Cause I don’t think any coffee date could ever beat this.” He whispered.
“But I ruined it…” Izuku said hazily as he barely holding onto his consciousness. “I’m sorry…”

“Stay with me, Deku.” Katsuki whispered in his ear. “Ya gotta stay awake for me, okay?”

“I’ll try…” He whimpered. “It hurts…”

“I know but you’ll get through it. I’m here.”
Katsuki squeezed his hand tight. “I’m not going anywhere.”

“Promise?”

“Promise.”

After a trip to the infirmary at the base of the volcano, Izuku was given pain medication and was observed until he was clear to walk. The sun had set by then, and he felt awful.
“I’m sorry Kacchan… you didn’t get to go to the top like you wanted.”

“It’s fine.” Katsuki yawned. “The trail was pretty enough.”

“I was stupid…”

“Stop saying that.” Katsuki rolled his eyes. “The pebble-”

“I like you! I know you don’t want to like me…”
“I know I’m your student and it would be bad for you or even for me but… I feel safe when I’m with you! I feel happy! I don’t even know why I’m saying this… please don’t hate me.” He cried. “You can pretend you never heard it but… it’s how I feel.”

“Izuku…”
Katsuki grabbed his hand led him to a nearby creek. “I could never hate you. But being with you, not being with you…Encouraging your feelings, crushing your feelings… I don’t know what’s the right thing to do. I shouldn’t even be saying what I’m saying now.”
“I met you as some guy… I saw you as a roommate, an equal. I never expected you to be in my classroom. The line that should have been there from the start never had a chance to form. I’m not gonna lie to you. I care about you a lot! But… you’re 16!”
“No… I’m… I’m Izuku! I’m Deku! And you’re Kacchan! And we have dinner together every night! And we live together a-and sleep in the same room and make each other laugh and help each other when we need it and… there is a line between us! A direct one from my heart to yours!”
Izuku put his hand on Katsuki’s chest. “You can feel it too, can’t you?”

“That doesn’t make right!” Katsuki put his hand over his.

“I didn’t ask if it was right.” Izuku peered into his eyes, into his very soul. “I asked if you felt it.”
Katsuki didn’t know what got into his head. That damn flower in the trash, the sound of Izuku’s head hitting the ground, the heart attack of thinking he could lose him as he carried him downhill, the sunset reflecting off of his eyes as he stared at him expecting an honest answer
The sound of the water slowly trickling down the creek. But his body moved before he could stop it as he tilted Izuku’s head up and kissed him with everything he had.

He thought back to the movie he watched with Ochaco. That feeling he searched for. He had found it.
So despite everything in his head screaming at him to pull away, he deepened the kiss. This was it. The spark. The magical thing people write books, songs and endless movies about. And no matter the circumstances, in that moment, he couldn’t feel anything but right.

Top for those who are just tuning in:
The school bell rang and Katsuki didn’t know what to feel beginning class that day. He should have quit. He should have started life as a shopkeeper or something. Because his boyfriend was sitting in a desk, staring at him with the utmost adoration ready to LEARN.
When they came back from the volcano, they had talked about a lot of things. Mainly how on earth they were going to work. Katsuki made it perfectly clear how he felt about Izuku. Like he was the other half of his soul that he happened to meet at the worst possible time.
But Izuku was patient and understanding and somehow put all of his worries at ease.

“Nothing is different than before. We just get to be a little closer.” He had wrapped his arms around his waist and swayed with him in the kitchen.
“A little happier. A little more open.” He laced his in Katsuki’s and tip toed to kiss him. “School Izuku and School Kacchan are still the same.” He giggled. “But at home. At home, you’re mine.”

“You’re gonna be the end of me.” Katsuki caressed his face.
He should have never entertained this. But ‘should have’ was out the window. Izuku was in his arms, Izuku had laid his head against his chest. Izuku was happier than Katsuki had ever seen him. And he didn’t want that happiness to end.

He had to be careful.
He had to take care of his heart more than anything he had ever treasured in his life. Katsuki knew he fucked up by starting their relationship so soon, but he would be damn sure there would be no more mistakes. Izuku’s happiness was his number one priority.
And that meant no one could find out about their relationship. At school, he had to be his utmost professional self. But damnit, Izuku was so damn cute, Katsuki wanted to run to his desk and gobble him up! He took a deep breath.

“Everyone in your seats?!”

“Yes, Sensei!”
Katsuki started class and tried his best not to glance at Izuku and watch the way he frantically wrote down his notes or muttered his thoughts or chewed on his solid gold All Might pen but he was extremely difficult not to look at! Too beautiful for his own good.
Class ended before he knew it and he couldn’t believe he managed to get through it without writing ‘I’m dating Midoriya Izuku! Fire me!’ on his forehead. He sighed in exhaustion when suddenly a pair of hands cover his eyes.

“Guess who?!” Ochaco swooned.

“What do you want?!”
Katsuki seethed.

“I have something that might interest you.” She teased before removing her hands and handing him an envelope.

“I sincerely doubt you’ll… what is this?!” He blinked at the two tickets inside.

“There’s a hot sauce tasting competition coming to town!”
She informed him. "I thought maybe we could go together! I'll bring my favorite milk boxes and try and tolerate the spice!"

"Take someone else." Katsuki grumbled. "I'm busy that weekend."

"Really?" Ochaco crossed her arms suspiciously. "Doing what?"
"None of your business!" Katsuki seethed.

"It's not a date, Bakugo-kun." She sighed. "It's just... two friends hanging out like they used to."

"Is that really all it is?!" Katsuki glared at her. "Cause I'm not in any position to date, Uraraka."
"Not in a position to date? Or not in a position to date me?" Ochaco grumbled. "I know about you and the secretary. People talk."

"I needed him for information but decided the coffee date isn't worth it, alright?! I found out what I needed to myself!"
"See how easy that was? Being honest with me? I'm still your friend! It's hard enough moving somewhere and not knowing anyone but you! The least you could do is humor me with a stupid hot sauce competition that I waited hours in line to get!" She cried and Katsuki felt guilty.
He looked at the tickets in his hand and wondered what the best thing to do would be. Things were still so new with Izuku. And he was so eager to please him, Katsuki feared he would say he was fine with it when he really wasn't.
“I’m sorry.” Katsuki sighed. “I really am busy. And ya can’t tell anyone why, but… I got another job.”

“Huh?” Ochaco blinked.

“I’m a doorman at the place I live on the weekends okay! It was the only way I could get my rent discounted! I’m not risking that!” Katsuki lied.
“Oh! I thought you were done overworking yourself!” She fumed. “When do you get to rest, Bakugo-kun?!”

“Probably in a couple of years when I move up in this place! Thanks for thinking of me but… take someone else!” He demanded.

“Who could I possibly take?” She grumbled.
“I don’t know. Principal Aizawa?” Katsuki joked. “You should really ask before you make plans!”

“Ugh…. Wait! I have an idea!” She perked up. “Sorry for bothering you Bakugo-kun! Maybe when you’re not so busy, we can have a drink sometime!” She nodded before rushing out the door
Katsuki watched her leave and put his head in his hands in frustration. Who knew what was going through her mind?! Whatever it was, he had a bad feeling about it.

Later at lunch, Izuku was rambling to his friends about the latest spy anime he’s been watching.
“Dude.” Rody grimaced. “You’re seriously gonna act like we don’t notice that giant bandage on your forehead?”

“What happened?!” Denki gawked.

“0h…this?” Izuku giggled nervously. “I fell down the stairs at home.”

“Who pushed you?!” Mina cried.

“No one! It was an accident!”
Izuku said, embarrassed. “I-I live alone so… no one is really there to push me.”

“We should come over!” Sero suggested.

“Yeah! Sleepover sleepover!”

“I told you guys, I can’t have guests um… my building is really strict about that!”

“So we’ll sneak in.” Denki snickered.
“Maybe one day we can go camping or something!” Izuku suggested. “Or maybe I can get us a hotel! Or a cabin for a night!”

“Right… you’re rich.” Rody sighed enviously

“Well how about this weekend?” Mina suggested.

“I’m in!” Denki grinned.

“Sleepover of the century!”
Sero cheered.

Izuku felt excited. He did want to thank them. And while he would miss Kacchan, one night away couldn’t hurt.

Later that evening, he made beef stew and as soon as the door opened he ran into Kacchan’s arms.

“You’re home!”
Katsuki grabbed his face and kissed him passionately.

“Fuck, I’ve been wanting to do that all day.” He whispered.

“Me too.” Izuku blushed before kissing him again. “It’s weird. I see you twice a day but I still miss you.”

“What did you cook, huh? It smells good.”
“Beef stew! I made it with lots of spices that I had Iida-San pick up on the way home! I hope you like it!” Izuku grabbed his hand and lead him to the kitchen.

“Speaking of spices, Uraraka invited me to some hot sauce competition.” Katsuki informed him. “But I turned her down.”
“Why?” Izuku asked him genuinely.

“Cause I’d rather spend my time with you.” Katsuki wrapped his arms around his waist and kissed his neck.

“M-me too but… I actually have plans this weekend myself. I hope that’s okay!”

“What kinda plans?” He tried not to sound disappointed.
“My friends were worried about me living alone and they really wanted a sleepover. So I thought I would get a cabin for us for a night! It’s just Saturday, Sunday I’m all yours!” Izuku looked at him for approval and Katsuki was happy he had friends.
But it made feel lame for not having his own.

“That’s cool.” He shrugged. “Have a blast!”

“I will! Um… if you wanted to go that thing with her, I wouldn’t be upset!” Izuku tried to reassure him but Katsuki could tell he was lying.
“Nah.” He ruffled his hair. “I’ll take the time to catch up on some books I was reading.”

“And you call me a nerd.” Izuku giggled.

“What did you say?!”

“Nerd-Sensei!”

“Get over here!” Katsuki chased him with a ladle making him shriek in laughter.
Eventually Katsuki caught up to him and tackled him on their couch before nibbling on his adorably chubby cheeks.

“Have fun, Izuku.” He smiled fondly. “Don’t worry about me.”

“I’ll miss you.” Izuku kissed him. “One of these days I’ll get a cabin just for us.”
“You have no concept of money at all, do you?” Katsuki sighed.

“It’s green like me!”

“I hate you.”

“No you don’t!”

They laughed. Katsuki couldn’t believe how easy it was with him.

The next day, Uraraka marched straight into the records department.

“Um.. are you Todoroki?”
“That’s me.” Shoto confirmed.

“I heard you’re the person to go to for information.” She fanned her face with envelope containing the tickets. “You like Bakugo-Sensei, right? I have a proposition for you.”
TBC 🎟️
The week felt like a fairy tale to Izuku. He couldn’t believe Kacchan actually liked him back. He couldn’t believe he wanted to be close with him too. He had no problems keeping things professional at school. Afterall, watching Kacchan teach was amazing! He was so smart.
It made him want to do his best in class! He wanted to make him proud too. And at home… at home, was a dream. Touching him, talking to him, watching movies with him, kissing him, dancing with him. It was all so perfect.

Izuku wanted more but he knew Kacchan wouldn’t want that.
Not yet anyway. The closest he could get was cuddling and kissing at the same time and if he was lucky, Kacchan would forget they were in his bed before they fell asleep. But when he remembered, he would plop Izuku in his own.
He made it very clear their first night as a couple that sex was off the table until Izuku had graduated High School. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t have a little fun teasing him. Kacchan was so easy to fluster!

“Kacchan, have you seen my All Might silver age T Shirt?”
Izuku ran out of the bathroom one night wearing only a towel loosely tied around his waist.

“HELL IF I KNOW?! GO LOOK IN YOUR ROOM!” Katsuki was tomato red and Izuku used the opportunity to look around the living room aimlessly.

“Are you sure? You cleaned around here last.”
“THEN CHECK YOUR LAUNDRY BASKET. AWAY FROM ME. BEHIND CLOSED DOORS!”

“Huh?! You don’t like my towel? It’s your favorite color, though!”

“Don’t play stupid, Deku!”

“I’m not stupid! I really want my shirt!”

Izuku thought it was the funniest thing.
One of the many things he learned about his new boyfriend was just how funny he was. He was very strict about his bed time. He hated mornings and late evenings. If it wasn’t for his 13 alarms during the school week, he would sleep until noon.
He acted rough and tough but he was sensitive. Izuku jokingly said his face looked like a monsters one day and he sulked all evening until he apologized. He was very passionate about the things he loved. And Izuku could hear him talk all day about it.
Kacchan was very mature and wise but also childlike. He enjoyed video games and comic books. Izuku loved to look at him focus on both. He could watch him just being himself all day.

“You’re going to that cabin tonight, right?” Katsuki asked him after making them breakfast.
“Yeah!” Izuku kissed him as he grabbed his plate gratefully. “I’m really nervous. It’s the first time I’ve had a sleepover, really. A-at least my first time hosting one. I hope everyone has a good time!”

“Just don’t get into too much trouble.” Katsuki smirked.
"I wish you could come." Izuku grumbled. "I'd love to throw a snowball at your face."

"Hold that thought." Katsuki said before running outside. Izuku stared anxiously at the door. He always worried when he mentioned things like not being able to be seen outside together, that
his boyfriend would panic and run for the hills. He knew Katsuki was risking a lot just by being with him. Then again, he risked a lot the second he met him. Their entire relationship was built on risk. But so far, it paid off ten fold for the both of them.
His thoughts were interrupted with a snowball to the face.

"AHH!"

"You wanted a snow fight?! Ya got one! Hurry before it melts!" Katsuki demanded after plopping a bucked filled with snow on the table.

"O-okay!" Izuku leapt up determined, before grabbing a handful of snow.
He threw it as hard as he could but it melted before merely splashing Katsuki.

"Guess it's hopeless with the heater on, huh?" Katsuki sighed as he plopped on the couch.

"I guess..."
Izuku feigned disappointment as he grabbed the bucket, tiptoed to the living room and dumped all the snow over Kacchan's head.

"HEY!" Katsuki jolted up before running after Izuku who was screaming for his life. "GET BACK HERE DAMNIT!!!"
"WE HAVE TO EAT BREAKFAST!" Izuku squealed as Katsuki grabbed him and threw him over his shoulder.

"THE ONLY THING YOU'LL BE EATING IS A FACE FULL OF MORE SNOW!" Katsuki threw him on the couch and shoved his face in what was remaining of the melted substance.

"KACCHAN STOOP!"
"You asked for it." Katsuki grumbled before finally letting him up for air.

"I asked for a snow fight, not a murder attempt!" Izuku seethed before jumping on his back and pulling his hair.

"QUIT IT!"

"YOU QUIT IT!"

Katsuki ran to his room and laid on his bed, knocking him off
Then he rolled over him, pulled his hair back and smashed their lips together, shoving his tongue down his throat.

When Izuku finally stopped squirming, Katsuki smirked and wiped the saliva off his mouth, victorious. "You done being a little shit?"

"You started it..."
Izuku blushed.

"Well now I'm finishing it. Come on, I'll throw our food back on the stove." Katsuki stood up.

"W-wait!" Izuku grabbed his arm and threw his arms around him before kissing him once more. He loved kissing Kacchan. He felt so whole, complete. Like he belonged.
It was an addiction he knew he couldn't ever give up. They spent the afternoon before the sleepover, practically sewn to each other's faces. They tried to do other activities, but it always ended up with them succumbing to the powerful electric current flowing between them.
"I really like you Kacchan." Izuku said when coming up for air. They had attempted to watch a movie together, but it went mostly ignored.

"Good. Cause I can't get enough of you." Katsuki huffed as he kissed his face then his chin then his neck.

"L-lower.."

"Deku..." He warned.
"Please. I want more..."

"I can't give you everything you want." Katsuki smiled softly at him. "There are some things you can't handle yet."

"I can handle you." Izuku pouted as he crawled further on his lap. "I know you want me too.."

"I can wait for what I want."
"You'll thank me later." Katsuki said as he caressed his face. "Trust me. It'll be worth it."

"You're too good of a person." Izuku sulked.

"Nah. I'm still going to hell for this." Katsuki sighed. "But I don't mind a little heat if it makes you happy."
Izuku stared at him and couldn't help but feel emotional. Kacchan was an amazing person...

"H-hey! What's wrong?!" Katsuki panicked as he started to cry.

"I'm just so blessed to h-have you." Izuku sniffled. "I... I had someone in my life..."
"who pushed and pushed and pushed until it felt like I was falling off a cliff. I was so scared. I was in a non-stop state of falling, and there was no river or rocks or ground to end my misery. B-but then I met you.. and it was like you caught me."
Katsuki listened intently as Izuku told him everything. All about his mom's wedding and Keigo and all the horrendous ways he tormented him. He confessed to him all the details about the photos and how they spread everywhere. He told him how heartbroken he was to come here alone.
He held him tightly and let him cry into his chest. Katsuki was absolutely disgusted with what he heard. He hated that someone as pure hearted and good as Izuku was taken advantage of in such a horrendous way. Which made him take an even harder look in the mirror.
How was he any better? Katsuki was four years older than the monster who tutored him. Izuku said he made him feel happy and safe. Katsuki had to fight the guilt inside of him and hold onto that. Because if he rejected Izuku now, it would be a disaster for the kids emotions.
"Izuku..." Katsuki kissed his head slowly. "You're fucking amazing, you know that? You're strong. But you don't let what you've gone through close you off. You get up every day, and still have hope. After everything that bastard did, that's unfathomable."
"It's because of y-"

"No!" Katsuki grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly. "You caught yourself. You picked yourself up. YOU helped ME, remember? I'm the one who's fucking lucky." He kissed his lips gently. "I'm not gonna mess it up, you hear?"
"Kacchan..." Izuku looked at him in awe. "Thank you." He kissed him making Katsuki growl. "I m-mean you're welcome." He laughed nervously. "You're so so welcome and... I'm so happy to have you in my life."

"Back at you, kid." Katsuki said softly before kissing him again.
After Izuku left for his sleepover, Katsuki figured he would start the movie over, order takeout then go to bed. It felt odd being home without him, but he was happy he was able to go out and have fun and smile. He truly was one of a kind.
Todoroki pulled up to Bakugo's apartment complex, dropping Uraraka off after their time at the hot sauce competition.

"And you're sure he'll like these?" Shoto questioned, holding up the bag of hot sauces he purchased.

"Trust me! Give them to him on Monday,"
"And you'll have him wrapped around your finger!" She beamed.

"Alright. Just don't tell him I brought you here." Shoto moped. "I could lose my job."

"Your secret is safe with me." Ochaco hummed before putting her finger to her lips. "I was just in the area."
"Alright." Shoto shrugged before pulling his car out of the driveway and then stopping. "Wait! Your jacket!"

"I'll get it later!" She stuck her tongue out.

"But it's snowing..."

"Today was fun Todoroki-kun! Bye now!" She skipped into the gate quickly as she saw someone enter.
"Alright, 7A... 7A..." She walked up the stairs and noticed the person who had entered the gate before her going the same place. It was a takeout driver. That was strange. Bakugo liked to cook and rarely ordered takeout. The only time he did was when...

"No..." She gasped.
Ochaco fought the sinking feeling in her stomach. It was bad enough Bakugo had entertained Todoroki but could he really be sleeping with someone else?! Is that why he blew her off?! She waited till the takeout driver left and worked her confidence backup.
She wrapped herself in a hug and feigned a shiver before knocking lightly on Katsuki's door.

"You better be back with those egg ro-" Katsuki swung the door open and froze. "HUH?!"

"B-Bakugo-kun?!" Ochaco feigned surprise. "You live here?!"
"Uraraka?!" Katsuki blinked. He was wearing a tank top, joggers and his hair was messy as hell. Like someone had their hands all up inside it. She shook the thought and persisted with her ruse.

"I.. gosh, this is embarrassing." She sniffled.
"I t-tried t-to have fun at the competition by taking a date I found on an app. I guess that was your neighbor over in 3C. He ended up being a real jerk!" She cried. "He kicked me out because I wouldn't sleep with him and kept my jacket!"
“What the hell?!” Katsuki stepped out but she stopped him.

“He left with some other girl for the night and locked me out! So I’ve been t-trying to ask someone if I could use their phone to call a cab but you’re the only one to ans-s-swer the door.” She whined. “C-can I come in?”
Katsuki contemplated what to do. He had 0 time to hide any evidence that Izuku lived there. But he couldn’t just be a cruel bastard and leave her out in the cold. He looked behind him and saw that the living room hardly had anything that screamed Deku’s name.
“I’ll call you a cab.” He grumbled. “You can wait in here until it gets here!”

“Oh, thank you Bakugo-kun!” She wrapped her arms around him. “I won’t overstay my welcome! I promise!”

“Just stay on the couch and don’t move from there!”

“Fine, bossy!”
Katsuki pushed play on the movie, hoping to distract but her eyes were wandering everywhere.

“What?! What is it?!” He seethed under his breath.

“Nothing… it’s just. YOUR PLACE IS HUGE?! This couch is NICE?! That chandelier…”

“The gig came with a furnished apartment, okay?!”
Katsuki grumbled. She stared at him, making him nervous as shit.

“Bakugo-kun… are you seeing someone?”

“WHAT MAKES YOU SAY THAT?!”

“Oh my god!” She stood up. “D-do you have a suga-”

Katsuki blushed and covered her mouth. “No! I don’t have something like that! Ya kidding me?”
“Oh my god, you totally do!” She backed up.

“This cab can’t come fast enough!” He fumed.

“There’s no shame in it! I was thinking about it myself and-” She accidentally bumped into the coffee table dropping something on the ground. “Oops! Sorry, I dropped your-”
She froze after she bent down and realized what it was that had fallen. A solid gold All Might pen. The very same one she gifted Izuku. She knew it was the same one because she had the shop engrave the UA logo on it.

“Um…”

“Give me that!” Katsuki snatched it from her hand.
“Th-that’s a nice pen.” She cleared her throat. “Where did you get it?”

“I don’t know. I don’t keep track of all my damn pens.” He rolled his eyes before placing it back on the coffee table.

“Oh…” She had a bad feeling in her gut. “Well, what movie are you watching?”
Katsuki began to explain to her and while his eyes moved to the tv, she put the pen in her pocket.

“I see! Sounds boring. Well… I’ve bothered you enough!” She laughed nervously. “I think I’ll wait for the cab outside!”

“You sure?! It’s cold as shit!”
“Bakugo-kun, you stay out of trouble okay?!” She put her shoes on and ran out the door and Katsuki wondered if he said something wrong to her. Women were so damn confusing.

The next morning, Izuku came home and Katsuki greeted him by tackling him into the couch.
“Kacchan!” Izuku giggled.

“Hey, nerd! How was the nerd trip!”

“It was fun! Rody got stuck on the roof!”

“What?!”

The two spent the day talking and laughing and enjoying each other’s company and Katsuki was so glad to see Izuku, he forgot about Ochaco’s brief visit.
That night was another lucky night for Izuku where Kacchan fell asleep before banishing him to his twin mattress. He gleefully wrapped his arms around him and buried his face in his back, inhaling his scent. He had missed Katsuki. Denki’s snoring was nowhere near as comforting.
Mina had pulled him aside and asked how his crush was going. Izuku told her everything that happened, but didn’t name Katsuki. He just told her he went to their school and for his career path, he needed to keep their relationship a secret.

“Are you sure you’re okay with that?”
She had asked him skeptically. “You should be with someone who is proud to be with you and show you off!”

“He wants to! One day! But right now… right now, it’s not the time. I don’t mind it. In a way, it keeps everything just between us, you know? It doesn’t jinx it.”
“As long as you’re happy.” Mina sighed before an evil smirk spread on her face. “But I bet the sex is hot, huh?!”

“N-no! We don’t… um., he’s really traditional!!”

“BORING! You’ll wear him down, Midoriya!”

“I hope so!” Izuku snorted.
The two conspired seduction techniques all night and Izuku was so happy to have friends he could talk to about everything. Even if it was just his silly fantasies. Truthfully, Kacchan was right that it was best for them to wait. He could get in a lot of trouble otherwise.
Izuku squeezed his boyfriend tightly and hummed happily. Kacchan was amazing. Getting to be this close with him was a gift in itself. It almost felt too good to be true.

The next day, Izuku overslept and was running late to class.
He ran down the hall when the door to the nurses office swiftly opened.

“Midoriya-kun! Can I have a minute with you?!”

“I-I’m sorry Sensei, I’m late!” Izuku bowed.

“Don’t worry, I’ll write you an excuse!” She smiled and Izuku really had no choice but to accept.
He walked in nervously, wondering what it was she wanted.

“I just have a quick question for you.” Uraraka pulled out the gold All Might pen from her bag and handed it to him. “I gave this out to you. As you can see, there’s a UA engraving I had them custom make.”
“Oh… I was wondering where that went!” Izuku grabbed it. “I’m sorry! I must have dropped it after class on Friday!”

“That’s not where I found it, Midoriya…” She looked at him with a serious expression.

“Where did you find it?”

“Bakugo-Sensei’s apartment.”

“Huh?”
Izuku blinked. “When were you there??”

“Saturday night. We’re close friends. But I was just wondering how he could have gotten a hold of it.”

“I don’t know! I must have dropped it in his class!” Izuku looked at the pen. “Why were you there?!”

“That’s adult business.”
Ochaco smiled at him. “But that’s not what matters! What matters is-”

“Uraraka-Sensei, I have to go. I can’t miss another minute of class over a stupid pen!” He snapped at her before storming out of the office, trying not to cry. Was Kacchan cheating on him?!
He wouldn’t do that, right?! But why wouldn’t he tell him that Uraraka-Sensei came over?! That’s a big deal! All sorts of thoughts swirled in his mind. He tried to think clearly before walking into class. Everyone’s eyes would be on him as he was so obviously upset.
He tried to hold on with what he knew about Kacchan… he tried to hold on to his loving arms and passionate kisses and sweet words but he was spiraling. Maybe he just needed someone to sleep with and he couldn’t with Izuku so he got it out of his system with her…
It was bad, but he could understand. He could forgive him… maybe… Izuku wasn’t old enough to give him what he needed after all. He opened the door and before Katsuki could scold him, he handed him the note before walking to his desk without a word.
He tried to focus on class but it was difficult. He kept imagining his arms around hers, his lips all over her, his hand around her waist… but Izuku had his affection, right? He had him every day… it was just a night.. just one…
The bell rang and he tried not to fall apart as he walked out of the classroom.

“Midoriya. Can I speak to you for a minute?” Katsuki asked before he could leave the door.

“S-sure.” Izuku said nervously.

“Should I wait for you?” Rody asked Izuku.
“No, it’s okay.” Izuku smiled gratefully at him. “I’ll see you in class.”

Katsuki shut the door and observed his boyfriend who looked like he was a second away from bursting.

“What’s wrong?” Katsuki whispered.

“N-nothing.”

“Let me rephrase that. Tell me what’s wrong.”
Izuku looked at him angrily and burst into tears. “I know Uraraka-Sensei came over!”

“Huh?!”

“I was running late to class and she pulled me into her office to ask about my pen! My pen that she took from our place! After she came over! On Saturday when I was gone!”
“Shit!” Katsuki ran his hands through his hair. “Fuck, that’s my bad, Izuku. I forgot to tell you that she did that!”

“I’m not stupid Kacchan.” He sobbed. “I know what adult business is!”

“Is that what she fucking said to you?!” Katsuki snapped angrily.
“I w-would forgive you if you just tell me the truth. I know I’m not an easy person to date and I know I can’t fulfill the needs that she can! I know I’m not as pretty as her or kind or-”

Katsuki interrupted him with a firm brief kiss. “Shut it. It’s not what you think…”
“She was there by a complete accident. She was dating some guy in 3C and he kicked her out without her jacket so she was knocking on everyone’s door and I’m the unfortunate idiot who answered.” Katsuki explained. “She was there for 5 minutes. I didn’t tell you cause I forgot.”
Izuku looked at him and felt his lip wobble. “I wanna believe you…but I don’t trust myself Kacchan.” He cried. “This is too good. And I’m an idiot who believes I could still have happiness.”

“You’re not an idiot. I am.” Katsuki grabbed his handkerchief and wiped his tears.
“I should have been more careful. I shouldn’t have let her come inside. But damnit… I would never do anything to hurt you.” Katsuki gently kissed his forehead. “I love you.”

“Huh?” Izuku looked at him in awe. “What did you just say?”

“I said I love you, Izuku.”
“You don’t have to say it back if you’re not ready. I know we’ve only known each other for-”

“I love too!” Izuku cried tears of joy. “I… I’m sorry for not believing you.”

“It’s not your fault.” Katsuki furiously rubbed his face with the handkerchief.
“You deserve happiness. And damnit, I’m gonna do everything in my power to give it to you.”

“Thank you.” Izuku swiftly pecked him on the cheek. “I… I won’t think wrong of you again!”

“Hey! If I’m an asshole, call me on it! We’ll talk it out just like this!”
“Right!” Izuku nodded. “I should get to class then.” He smiled genuinely and Katsuki sighed in relief. He didn’t break him. He didn’t hurt him irreparably. He knew everything would be alright as long as he still had that beautiful smile.
“Bye Asshole-sensei!”

“You little shit!”
TBC 🖊️
Later on in the afternoon, Katsuki peeked into the cafeteria to make sure Izuku was still in high spirits. He seemed to be hyper focused on some charades Kaminari was playing. His eyes were still sparkly and bright and he was so full of life. It relieved him.
Katsuki balled his fist and made his way to his second destination. The nurses office.

“Be careful next time, okay?” Uraraka was patching up some third years head. “You still need that brain of yours to play soccer!”

“Y-yes Sensei!” The third year blushed before bowing.
“Oh, e-excuse me!” The third year bowed at Katsuki at the door before rushing out.

“It’s rare for you to visit my office.” Ochaco said coldly. “Only when Midoriya is involved, right?”

“What the hell were you thinking?!” Katsuki seethed. “Making my student late because of a pen”
“I know when you lie, Bakugo-kun. You don’t have a lot of practice at it.” She turned to face him. “You knew exactly where that pen came from.”

“Are you really standing there jealous of a 16 year old because I borrowed his damn pen?!” Katsuki growled.

“I upset him. Right?”
Ochaco said steadily. “Don’t lie. I can read it on your face. All I did was point out where I found the pen. And he got UPSET. Mind telling me why, Bakugo-kun?”

“I don’t know! Maybe because you told him we did ‘adult business’?! Any teenager would be freaked out by that!”
“He was already upset by that point!” Ochaco crossed her arms. “He asked me why at was at your place?. Why would he care? Any other student would be-”

“Just what are you implying Uraraka?!” Katsuki snapped. “You’re crazy if you think-”

“If I think what?! Go on Bakugo,”
“Tell me just how INAPPROPRIATE, WRONG, ILLEGAL, and COMPLETELY idiotic it would be to date one of you students!” She seethed under her breath. “Tell me and listen to yourself tell me!”

Katsuki stared at her, speechless. He had to say something. He had to say something now.
“I-”

The door suddenly opened and Shoto walked in, holding Uraraka’s jacket.

“Oh. Bakugo. You’re here.” Shoto greeted.

“Now’s not a good time, Todoroki!” Uraraka snapped.

“I’m just here to return the jacket you left in my car after the competition.”
Shoto handed it to her and Katsuki looked at her incredulously.

“YOU CONNIVING BITCH!”

“Bakugo, listen-”

“No, you fucking liar! That whole story you told me was just made up, huh?! What’s the big idea?! How did you even get my address?!”
“I’m sorry…” Shoto looked down. “That was my fault. She invited me to the hot sauce festival so I could get something you would like when I asked you out next. In exchange, she wanted me to drop her off at your place since you made plans but forgot to tell her where you live.”
“You’re crazy.” Katsuki snapped at her.

“I just wanted you to have a little bit of company since you work so hard! I didn’t realize you were already entertaining Midoriya-kun!” She cried and Katsuki clamped her mouth shut.

“Will you quit it with your batshit theories?!”
Shoto observed them bicker back and forth before awkwardly dropping the jacket and walking away. He remembered the first time he met Bakugo. He was very interested in finding out any information about Midoriya.

He walked into the cafeteria and saw him laughing with his friends.
Izuku was really bad at charades. He attempted to make a dog with his hands.

“A fish.” Mina guessed.

“No. It’s obviously a bird!” Rody corrected her

“How is that a bird?!” Mina rolled her eyes.

Izuku couldn’t exactly bark so he tried to make ears?

“A BUNNY!”
“Your time is almost up!” Sero announced.

“It’s-” Mina tried to guess when a handsome man walked up to their table.

“Hello. So sorry for interrupting. I’m Todoroki. The secretary for the records department. Midoriya, would you mind if I speak with you for a moment?”
“First the nurse in the morning, then Bakugo-Sensei after class, what did you do, Midoriya?!” Denki questioned.

“I don’t know.” Izuku stood up in confusion. “I’ll see you guys later, I guess?”

He followed Todoroki as he led him to an empty classroom and couldn’t help but stare.
He was ridiculously handsome. And he was into Kacchan. He asked Kacchan out and… Kacchan chose Izuku instead. It made him feel crazy. Why would Kacchan pick him when he had a beautiful woman and a ridiculously handsome man after him?

“Please. Have a seat.” Shoto instructed.
Izuku nervously sat across from him and fidgeted with his hands. What did he want?

“I’m sorry for interrupting your lunch. It looked like you were having fun.” Shoto smiled softly.

“Yeah… um.. we were playing a game, but I wasn’t very good at it.” Izuku grumbled.
“I’ll make this quick.” Shoto grabbed a pen and paper and wrote down a number before handing it to Izuku. “Uraraka-Sensei is under the impression that you are seeing Bakugo-Sensei.”

“That’s crazy! It was just a pen!” Izuku protested.

“Midoriya. I need you to listen.”
Shoto said intensely. “I’m not here to ask if it’s true. You’re not in trouble and neither is he. For all I know, she could just be a jealous ex girlfriend who is looking way too much into something. But just in case…” He took a deep breath. “That’s my number.”
“I’ve been in your shoes before.” He said as Izuku tilted his head. “Sorry. Alleged shoes. And I remember feeling like there wasn’t anyone on my side. Any adult I could speak to would make everything come crashing down. If you ever feel stuck. Call me. I won’t tell a soul.”
“S-Sensei…” Izuku looked at the number in his hands. “It’s not what you think.”

“I know.” Shoto smiled sweetly at him. “It’s nice to meet you. Please take care.”

Izuku looked at the number solemnly as he walked to class after the bell rang.
He didn’t like the way Uraraka-Sensei looked at him this morning. He didn’t like the way Todoroki implied he would ever need to be saved from Kacchan. Like Kacchan was doing something wrong by loving him. It wasn’t wrong. It couldn’t be. Because Izuku was happier than ever.
He couldn’t wait to get home. He couldn’t wait to freely hold him and kiss him and hold his hand. But he had a few more classes to get through.

After the school bell rang indicating the day was over, he rushed to meet Iida outside and as soon as he got home, he started dinner.
Kacchan arrived home as soon as it was done and Izuku ran and jumped into his arms.

“Hey.”

“Hi.” Izuku beamed before noticing the solemn look on Katsuki’s face. “What’s wrong?”

“Rough day. That’s all.” Katsuki sighed.

“Is it because of earlier? I’m really sorry for-”
Katsuki interrupted him with a deep, passionate kiss. “You’re fine, nerd. You’re perfect. It’s my fault. I have to be more careful.” He picked him up and led him to the kitchen before plopping him down. “I’ve been too careless. Even kissing you at school today was dumb…”
“I’m sorry.” Izuku pouted. “I… I saw what Todoroki-Sensei looked like today. He’s very attractive! Uraraka-Sensei…she’s beautiful too. You wouldn’t have to be cared with them. You could be happy without feeling guilty like you do with me.”

“Izuku.” Katsuki cupped his face.
“You’re the prettiest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.” He kissed him. “Those other extras? They couldn’t make me happy at all. Hell, Uraraka already tried. No one could possibly make me feel as strongly as you do.”

“Y-you really think so?”

“I don’t say shit I don’t mean.”
Izyku gratefully threw his arms around him and buried his head in his chest. He didn’t care what anyone else thought. He was the luckiest person alive.

The time flew by as winter break rapidly approached. Izuku’s parents arranged for him to come home for Christmas but,
He unfortunately caught a cold.

“Yup.” Katsuki looked at his thermometer. “You’re sick as shit.”

“Thanks Kacchan…” Izuku grumbled. “That information is very helpful for determining whether I need a doctor.” He said sarcastically.
Katsuki rolled his eyes and showed him the thermometer which had his temperature at 38 degrees C.

“What do I do?” Izuku groaned.

“You stay home, drink water, bundle up in your covers and let me do the rest.” Katsuki instructed.

“But what about your family?”
“Aren’t you going to see them?”

“The hag can wait a year. Hell, I’ll make her wait two years.” Katsuki grinned evily. “Then when you graduate, we can see her together. At least I’ll get you to myself before she inevitably takes you for herself.”
“You think she’ll like me?” Izuku laughed nervously.

“Ya kidding? She’s gonna love you. It’s your parents worried about.” Katsuki groaned.

“I think they’ll love you too… In Yagi-San’s world… age gaps aren’t a big deal. Arranged marriages are common..”
“And mom…” Izuku sniffled. “Mom would probably be glad that you take care of me…that you keep me safe… that you make me happy.” His eyes began to drift shut as he succumbed to his fever.

Katsuki grabbed his hand and squeezed it tight. “Get some rest, Deku.”
TBC 😷🎄

(Sorry for the short update. I am sick myself. But hopefully can continue tonight!! >.<)
Katsuki opened the front door to heaps of packages. Too many to count. He felt every time he brought one inside, 3 more took its place. Every single one of them was a Christmas present to Izuku from his parents. Spoiled brat.

“One of those is my gift to you so… don’t open any”
Izuku had demanded.

“If it’s car keys, I’m moving out.” Katsuki threatened.

“It’s a surprise that you’ll get tomorrow morning!” Izuku sneezed.

“Go lay down, damnit!”

“No… I need to find it so I can wrap it!” Izuku rummaged through the packages.
Almost all of them were from “Ultra Comics” which meant they gifts from his family but he found the one he was looking for, and another with no return sender. He wondered if that was Kacchan’s present to him so he left it alone.
Izuku excitedly scurried to his room and wrapped the gift in question before smiling to himself. He hoped Kacchan liked it. As much as he would love Christmas with his mother and Yagi-San. He knew it would be filled with fear. He wouldn’t be able to sleep in that house again.
He was glad he could spend it with Kacchan. Even though he was sick, he hoped he could find a way to thank him for everything. He really did so much for him. Izuku smiled to himself as he set the present under the tree.
Kacchan was busy putting large bows on all the packages because “there’s no way I’m wrapping all this shit!”

But Izuku was sure his mother already wrapped them before putting them in the box.

“I can help if you want.” Izuku grabbed a bow and the unmarked package.
“No! You lay down, damnit!” Katsuki demanded before snatching it. “Who the hell is this from?”

“It’s not from you?” Izuku blinked.

“As if I’d be so careless to leave it where you can easily find it.” Katsuki grumbled.

Izuku grabbed it and ripped it open.

“Hey what are you-”
He opened it revealing a beautifully intricate snowflake necklace with a red gem in the center.

“You sure it’s not from you?” Izuku asked his boyfriend.

“Yeah… I got you something better than that.” Katsuki grumbled, annoyed at how expensive the thing looked.
“Alright then.” Izuku put it back in the box and ran outside tossing it down the garbage chute.

“Deku, what the hell?! That thing looked worth half my salary?!” Katsuki gawked.

“Not many people know our address…” Izuku grumbled as he held himself, shivering from the cold.
Katsuki grabbed him and carried him inside before shutting the door and locking it.

“Maybe it was your driver or something.” He said before grabbing a tissue and wiping the snot that dropped down his nose.

“If it is, I feel bad but… I don’t know. I’m scared.”
Izuku said as Katsuki carried him to the living room and wrapped him in a blanket.

“You have nothing to be scared of.” Katsuki kissed his forehead. “Here. Let me show you.” He grabbed his phone out and showed him an app. Izuku pushed it and saw live footage outside their door,
windows, hallway, and the front gate of the apartment complex.

“After you told me what happened to you, I knew I had to be prepared just in case that creep ever finds you.” Katsuki informed as he grabbed a piece of snow from his hair. “I’m not taking any chances.”
Izuku clicked on the footage outside the apartment and watched it on rewind. The delivery man who came by looked nothing like Keigo. He then looked at the front gate footage and watched it again. Nothing, or no one that looked like him passed by in the last 24 hours.
“Thank you.” Izuku looked at Katsuki. “Thank you so much for doing this!”

“I’m surprised with all the money burning a hole in your pocket, you didn’t!” Katsuki scolded.

“I guess I just…” Izuku sniffled. “Didn’t think of it. I just blindly hoped he would never find me.”
“Well he won’t. But if he does,” Katsuki kissed him. “He’ll have to go through me. And Izuku…” He looked into his eyes intensely. “I will end his miserable life.”

“Kacchan…” Izuku buried himself in his chest. “You’re the best.”

“Yeah yeah, now let’s get you some tea.”
The next day was magical. Kacchan made them an amazing breakfast, and despite Izuku’s fever he was in high spirits. All of his gifts were so special. But he was really looking forward to what Kacchan had to give him.

“Alright, nerd who has everything. I tried my hardest here!”
Izuku carefully opened the wrapping paper for the flat object Katsuki presented him. He pulled it out and smiled wide when he realized what it was.

“Is this a scrap book?”

“Open it.” Katsuki blushed and Izuku excitedly flipped through the pages.
Every one was intricately decorated, with beautiful love notes from Kacchan and photos of the two of them. Izuku couldn’t help but cry in joy.

“I know I hogged the first ten pages.” Katsuki said as he pulled him onto his lap. “But there’s plenty more for you to fill out.”
“Since there’s plenty more memories for us to make.” Katsuki kissed his face. “I don’t plan on going anywhere, kid. Even if we’re discovered and they fire me and arrest me, I don’t think there’s any rules against taking selfies in prison.”

“Kacchan!” Izuku laughed.
He playfully hit him before pecking him on the lips. “Thank you. This is wonderful. The best gift I’ve ever gotten.”

“You’re step Dad got you a robot maid.”

“SECOND best gift I’ve ever gotten.”

“Hey!”

“I’m kidding.” Izuku kissed him. “I’ll treasure this forever.”
Katsuki then opened his gifts that his parents sent him. Warm socks, towels, and a copy of ‘What to Expect when You’re Expecting’ with a watch. The card said “It’s TIME to give me grand babies!”

Izuku rolled on the floor in laughter as Katsuki used the book as a coaster.
“Damn hag!”

“She sounds fun!” Izuku giggled.

“She’s a menace.” Katsuki seethed.

“Well so am I. It’s time for your gift!” Izuku beamed before scampering to the tree and handing him a small box.

Katsuki stared at him skeptically as he opened it.
Izuku was beaming with excitement and Katsuki opened it and blinked in awe at the thoughtful sweet gift. It was a snow globe. Inside was the volcano where they had their first kiss. Instead of snow, the volcano erupts when you shake it, spewing red ‘ash’.

Katsuki smiled softly.
“Thanks.”

“Do you like it?” Izuku fiddled with his fingers nervously.

“I fucking love it!” Katsuki grabbed his face and kissed him passionately.

“Mmm! I’m still sick, Kacchan!”

“I don’t give a fuck. I love you too fucking much.”
“I’m glad you think that.” Izuku smiled before slipping a set of keys into his hand. “You better not move out.”

“DAMNIT DEKU! WHAT IS THIS?!”

“Come on! Get your coat on!!!” Izuku giggled.

“I SWEAR TO GOD!”

After they were warm, he begrudgingly followed him to the garage.
There in the previously unused parking spot was to Katsuki’s surprise, a sleek black Kia EV6 with burnt orange seats.

“How did you-”

“You never pay attention commercials when you watch TV! You tend to look at your phone to pass the time except this one time,”
“An ad for this car came on and your eyes were glued the entire time. It made me think you really liked it and then when you weren’t paying attention, I looked at your search history and noticed you looked it up!” Izuku explained. “I know you didn’t want this… but Kacchan,”
“You’re the reason I can sleep again. You’re the reason I can breathe easy. I was so scared and lost before meeting you. I know I complicated a lot of things for you… since teaching is your dream career. So let me at least make SOMETHING easier for you. Let me help!”
Katsuki looked at his earnest face. That damn face. The one he could never say no to. The one that got him in all kinds of trouble. The one that was WORTH all that trouble.

“Fine.” He sighed in defeat before pushing the unlock button on the car. “Shall we take her for a spin?”
Izuku excitedly ran to the passenger side and Katsuki couldn’t but feel excited too. He had never expected someone like Izuku to come into his life and make it worth living. He used to hate things like Christmas, and cheesy gifts and grand gestures but with Izuku?
It was like he was experiencing these things for the very first time. The large smile on his face, the shine in his eyes, the excitement in his voice… Katsuki wanted to experience it forever.

He drove to a cliff side that had a fantastic view.
The two sat with music playing in the heated car with their hands laced together as they looked at the beauty of nature. The mountains, the cliffs, the trees, the rivers. Katsuki had been on several hikes, but the world only seemed this beautiful now.

“Izuku”
“Kacchan”
They both laughed awkwardly at the others attempt to break the silence.

“You first.” Izuku smiled.

“Nuh uh. You go.”

“I was just gonna say, Merry Christmas. And… I know it’s too soon to say this… but I hope I can spend every one with you the rest of my life.”
Katsuki grinned wide before leaning down and kissing him. A long slow one at first, then multiple small pecks. He couldn’t get enough. He didn’t care how sick he was.

“I was just about to say the same thing.” He whispered.

-
Unfortunately for Katsuki, he couldn’t spend too much time driving his new car because he caught Izuku’s cold only ten fold! Izuku had healed by then and dedicated the rest of winter break to caring for him but New Years had come and gone and unfortunately,
Katsuki was too sick to go back to school when it started back up.

“Shit…” Katsuki cursed to himself as he laid in bed with a fever.

“Do you want me to stay home today?” Izuku offered. “It’s not like the substitute will teach us much of anything!”
“No…” Katsuki groaned. “You gotta go back. You have other classes…” He sniffled. “Plus I didn’t forget about my damn essay due today and I’m not gonna let you turn it into me here! Go to class, Izuku!”

“But I’m worried! I won’t be able to focus!” Izuku protested.
“I’ll be fine! I can make my own damn soup!” Katsuki scolded. “I’ll give you detention if you don’t go.”

“That’s mean!” Izuku whined.

“Go. To class.”

“Fine…” Izuku grumbled as he left to change. He knew Kacchan could care for himself but he liked doing it.
Afterall, Kacchan was strong and tough and always took on the world by himself. It was nice to see him a little vulnerable. It was nice to be able to be the one to pick him up when he was down.

“Alright, I’m leaving now. I’ll text you, okay?” Izuku peaked in his bedroom
“Yeah yeah…” Katsuki waved his hand lazily as he drifted back to sleep. “Fuck…wait. Izuku! Wait!”

“I’m right here Kacchan.” Izuku rushed to his side and squeezed his hand. “What do you need?”

“I love you.”

“I love to too!” Izuku smiled brightly.

“Good. Now go to class…”
Katsuki playfully shoved him.

“I’m going! I’m going!” Izuku laughed.

As Iida drove him to school, he couldn’t help but think how lucky he was. He had become exponentially happier since moving. He loved his friends, he loved his school, he loved Kacchan.
“Alright. We’re here.” Iida dropped him off.

“Thanks Iida-San!” Izuku beamed.

“Midoriya.” Iida grabbed his wrist. “I know I ask too often, but will you please call your mother today.”

“You do ask often.” Izuku smiled gratefully. “Thank you. I think I’ll call her today.”
“Really?!”

“Yeah… I’ve been too hard on her I think.” Izuku laughed. “But… I feel a lot stronger now. I owe her a big apology. Bye, Iida-San!”

“Take care! Don’t run to class!” Iida waved him off and Izuku giggled as he walked as briskly as he could without running.
“Hey!” Rody threw his arm around him as they walked down the hall together. “How was your winter break?”

“I was sick for most of it but it was nice.” Izuku informed him. “How about you?”

“You’re looking at…” Rody pulled his jacket out to reveal a medal “World’s best brother!”
“Oh! Did your brother and sister get you that?”

“They did!” He grinned proudly.

“Hey guys!” Denki and Mina waved from the door. “We got a substitute today! Help us plan the prank for him!”

“Come on, you guys! We have to be nice!” Izuku laughed.
Izuku’s friends spent the next 20 minutes arguing back and forth on the best prank to pull and he couldn’t help but feel incredibly blessed. Everything in his life was a dream. A beautiful wonderful dream.

“Alright. Everyone in your seats.” Principal Aizawa ordered.
“Bakugo-Sensei is out sick so you have a guest teacher today. I expect you all to behave and treat Sakurai-Sensei with the same respect.”

“Yes sir!” Everyone nodded.

Aizawa left the classroom and Rody elbowed Izuku. “Good thing we didn’t put the eraser on the door.”
“You would have deserved what was coming to you.” Izuku giggled before a voice spoke that sent chills down his spine.

“Hello everyone, I’m your substitute today. Sakurai Moshida.” There, standing in front of the classroom was him. Keigo.

Izuku stood up, knocking his chair back.
“Oh! Midoriya-kun? Weird seeing you here.” He laughed. “Looks like we’re just fated to run into each other, huh?”

Izuku couldn’t think, he couldn’t breathe, he couldn’t speak. How did he find him?! He didn’t know… all he knew was his dream was over… and his nightmare returned.
TBC ❄️💎
Top for those who are just reading:
Izuku felt the floor collapse beneath him, the air leave his body, and the only thing he could hear was the loud uncontrollable cadence of his heartbeat.

“You look sick.” Keigo smiled as he approached him. “Do you need me to take you to the nurses office?”
Izuku felt frozen in fear the closer he got. How? How did he leave? He was on arrest? He had an ankle monitor! How did he find him?! Yagi was careful, right? But Eijiro… no, Ei wouldn’t have talked to him. He hated him! So how?!

“I can take him, Sensei!” Rody offered.
“Which would you prefer, Midoriya?” Keigo put his hand on his shoulder making his whole body revolt. “Should I take you myself? Or have your friend take you while I pass out this assignment Bakugo-Sensei left for you all?” He showed him his clipboard.
On it was a pile of photos. The very first being a picture of Kacchan kissing him in the classroom.

How did he get that picture?! When did he take that picture?! Izuku didn’t have time to ask questions, he knew he had no choice at that moment. He had to do what Keigo wanted.
He looked down from the clipboard into those eyes that haunted his dreams for months.

“P-please take me, Sensei…” He stuttered out as his legs began to tremble.

“Alright. I’ll be back everyone!” Keigo announced as he put his arm around Izuku’s shoulder and guided him outside.
Every step was misery. He didn’t know how many they had taken. He wanted to scream for help but he couldn’t. He saw the nurses office and wondered if they would actually go inside. But it was just as Izuku feared. They walked right past it.

“E-excuse me!”
Uraraka-Sensei’s voice called as she walked out the door, stopping Keigo in that moment. Was this his chance? Could he ask her for help? She was Kacchan’s ex so some part of her loved him right? Some part of her would save him without getting Kacchan in trouble, right?
“Oh. Hello.” Keigo waved. “Uraraka-Sensei, was it?”

“Yeah, that’s me. Um… who are you?” She blinked nervously. “Shouldn’t Midoriya-kun be in class?”

“I’m his driver.” Keigo smiled. “He’s feeling under the weather so I’m taking him home.”

“You’re sick?” She asked Izuku.
He was about to answer. He was about to mouth ‘help’ but she interrupted him.

“Bakugo-Sensei is sick too…” She said accusingly. “How strange.”

“Must be going around.” Keigo shrugged. “The weather and all.”

“Are you his guardian right now?” Ochaco asked.
“Something like it.” Keigo laughed.

“You should keep an eye on who he spends his time with.” She crossed her arms and Izuku tried to resist from breaking down in tears. There was no way out.

“I assure you, he’s monitored sufficiently.” Keigo rolled his eyes.
“Come on Izuku, let’s go home.” Keigo pushed him forward.

“Uraraka-Sensei….” Izuku gulped. What could he say? What could he say to help himself?!

“What is it?” She asked coldly. Keigo gripped the clip board tighter and Izuku bit his lip.

“H-have a nice day…”

“Feel better…”
Ochaco grumbled before stepping back into her office. As soon as she shit the door, he knew there was no saving himself.

“Not gonna scream?” Keigo whispered. “I’m not forcing you anywhere. You can run at any moment.”

“No… I can’t.”
Izuku said robotically.

“You can. You choose not to. You’ve always been funny like that. So predictable.” Keigo laughed as they walked down the stairs to the exit. He was about to open the door when Todoroki walked in, almost hitting them.

“Oh. My bad.” Shoto apologized.
“Midoriya? What are you doing outside of class?”

“I’m his driver.” Keigo kept his story up. “Midoriya here is sick and I’m taking him home.”

“You’re not Iida Tenya.” Shoto pointed out. “Did he switch drivers?”

Izuku remembered their last conversation.
How Shoto promised he wouldn’t tell a soul about Kacchan.

“You’re familiar with my colleague?” Keigo questioned.

“I’m the secretary of the records department. As far as I know, Iida Tenya and his parents are the only ones with clearance to remove him from campus.”
“Oh I see.” Keigo laughed. “My boss must have not updated the transfer. I’m now his driver. My name is Saiko. I’ll have him call later today with the appropriate paper work. But as you see. He’s white as a sheet and needs to go home.”
Shoto glanced at Izuku and as soon as their eyes met, Izuku burst into tears and shook his head ‘no’

“H…help.”

“Mi-” Before Shoto could respond, Keigo slammed his head against the wall, and dragged Izuku outside.

“TODOROKI-SENSEI!”

“That’s your own fault, kid.”
Keigo covered his mouth with his hand and quickly manhandled him into his car that was sitting outside.

“Guys…” Rody said nervously as he looked outside the window. “Is that… is that Izuku?!”

Mina, Denki and Sero rushed to look out and panicked.
“What’s going on? That’s not his driver’s car?!” Denki cried.

“Sakurai-Sensei is getting in the driver’s seat.” Sero gulped.

“Guys, I don’t think that’s his real name!” Mina gasped. “I think that was the creep! The one who made him take those pictures!”
Everyone looked at each other before running out of the classroom much to their other classmates confusion.

“We have to let principal Aizawa know!” Mina demanded.

“How much do we tell him though! He can’t know about the pictures!” Denki wondered.
“I think he walked out of campus and forced him into his car is good enough?!” Sero stressed.

“Where are you kids going!” Uraraka opened the nurses office. “Shouldn’t you be in class?”

“Our substitute teacher just kidnapped our friend!” Rody informed her.

“Huh?!”
They all stopped and told her everything that happened and their suspicions about who their substitute really was.

“Y-you’re kidding…” Ochaco put her hand to her mouth as she thought back to their interaction. Midoriya-kun looked scared but she thought it was because-
she mentioned Bakugo and he was scared she was ratting out what she presumed was their inappropriate relationship. Listening to these kids tell her about his past made her think twice about her assumption. No wonder he was set off by something as small as a pen…
“Oh my goodness.” She began to shake when she thought of him calling for her. Was that his way of asking for help? “If what you’re saying is true, we need to call the police!” She grabbed her purse. “You remember what the car looks like?! He can’t have gone far!”
They all rushed down the stairs toward the exit and Ochaco and Mina screamed when they saw Todoroki leaning against a bloody wall trying to stand himself up.

“TODOROKI-KUN!” Ochaco screeched. “YOUR HEAD!”

“We….” Shoto struggled to breathe. “Have to help… Midoriya.”
While she tended to his injuries with some gauze in her purse, Mina noticed the clip board on the floor. She picked it up and froze when she saw the picture on the front. She grabbed her bag and shoved the clip board inside it before anyone could ask about it.
Everything Izuku told her about his boyfriend made sense now. She wasn’t one to judge whether or not it was appropriate. All she knew was that he made him really happy.

“W-we should call Bakugo-Sensei!” She suggested.

“How’s he gonna help? He doesn’t have a car!” Denki cried.
Mina remembered Izuku babbling to her at their sleepover about the idea of getting his boyfriend a car for Christmas and worrying he would reject it.

“Who knows? Maybe he got one for the holidays?!”

“Here.” Shoto tossed her his phone. “His number is on there.”
“Bakugo-kun’s sick.” Ochaco pointed out. “We should be calling the police!”

But it was too late, Mina was already dialing the number.

“Ya better have woken me up on my sick day for a good reason, information seller!” Katsuki snapped.

“BAKUGO-SENSEI!” Mina cried.
“Ashido?!” Katsuki questioned.

“Our substitute teacher was a creep who kidnapped Midoriya-kun!” She screamed.

“What?!”

“I don’t know if you know! But… but we think it’s the same creep who stalked him before he came to UA!”

“When did this happen?!”

“Just now!”
“DAMNIT! TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU KNOW! IM ON MY WAY!” Katsuki stumbled out of bed and ran into a wall. Damnit, he felt like shit but he needed to focus. He grabbed his car keys and rushed to the garage forgetting his coat but he didn’t care. Izuku… Izuku was in danger!
Keigo hummed along to the song on the radio as Izuku succumbed to his panic attack in the passenger seat of his car.

“I don’t know why you’re acting so surprised.” He said casually. “You knew I would find you. That’s why you threw out my present.”
Izuku couldn’t speak…he couldn’t breathe, he could hardly even cry. He was terrified. He had no idea where they were going but he knew he wasn’t coming back from wherever it was. He was so dumb to think he could ever escape.

“Hey. Izuku.” Keigo handed him a water bottle.
“Drink this. It will make you feel better.” He stroked his hair making him flinch. “It’s going to calm you down a lot. Let you sleep. You know there’s no point fighting me, right? I’ve already won.” He slowly kissed his forehead.
“There’s no reason for you to be scared anymore. You’re all mine. So drink it and calm yourself down.”

Izuku looked at the water bottle and knew there was no hope. He had thrown his phone out of the car as soon as they pulled out of UA.
If he ran out of car, Keigo would expose his relationship with Kacchan. And unlike Keigo, Kacchan wasn’t rich. He would be fired and worse, arrested. And Keigo’s lawyers would probably keep him free. There was nothing he could do. The agonizing dread all over was too much.
He opened the water bottle and guzzled it.

“Good boy.” Keigo grinned and Izuku wanted to hurl. But his body did feel instant relief. Everything began to spin. “Sleep for me.”

At least dreams couldn’t be worse than his reality. Maybe if he was lucky, he would see Kacchan.
Katsuki pulled up to the school in 5 minutes where he saw Uraraka, Todoroki, Principal Aizawa and the kids.

“Where are the… damn cops?!” Katsuki questioned out of breath.

“Nice new ride.” Uraraka gawked.

“Shut it! What’s going on?!”

“They’re on their way.”
Principal Aizawa informed him.

“How did this happen?! How did he get into this damn school?!”

“He had all the proper documentation.” Shoto noted. “It wasn’t even forgery.”

“He just bought it with his money, huh?!” Katsuki seethed.

“Bakugo-kun… I’m sorry.” Uraraka cried.
“I… I didn’t believe you or him about the stupid pen and… and my gut feeling that something was wrong was misdirected to you. If only I took a moment to think… I could have saved him!”

“No…” Shoto rubbed his head. “It would have been no good.”
“That guy was desperate to do anything…you would have just ended up like me or worse…”

“We can’t do anything until the police gets here.” Aizawa stated.

“Bullshit! What kind of car was it?! I’ll find him!” Katsuki cried.

“And then what?! He’s dangerous!”
Uraraka protested.

“So. Am. I!” Katsuki growled as he he marched back into his car. Mina, Rody, Denki, and Sero all ran after him. “You can’t come, squirts! Stay here and talk to the police!”

“You need one of us, right?!” Mina pointed out. “Only WE saw the car!”
Katsuki cursed to himself before looking at his worried students. “Fine. Soul. Ashido. You come with me!”

“I’ll come too.” Shoto wobbled toward him. “You’ll need all the man power you can get. And you’re sick.”

“I’m coming as well!” Ochaco followed.
“In case anyone needs medical attention!”

“I can’t authorize the students to go with you!” Aizawa protested. “You tell Bakugo-Sensei what the car looks like and you stay here! Your lives are just as important as Midoriya’s!”
Mina and Rody begrudgingly wrote down every detail they could about the car before handing the paper to Katsuki.

“Bakugo-Sensei.” Mina sniffled. “Please bring him home safe.”

“There’s no way I’ll still be alive if he’s not back.” Katsuki declared. “LETS GO!”
Katsuki got in the car and slammed the door shut followed by Ochaco and Shoto.

“How are we going to track the car down?” Ochaco questioned.

“I might have a way.” Katsuki confessed. “It’s a long shot. It might just lead us to a dump. But I have a hunch.”
“What did you do?” Shoto questioned.

“Uraraka…” Katsuki said steadily before sighing. “You’re not crazy.”

Izuku woke up in a bed in an unfamiliar room. It was pitch black, but he could tell, he was alone.

“H-hello?” He jolted up.
There was no answer. Izuku suddenly felt a searing pain in his head.

“Ah…” He put his hand on his forehead causing the blanket to fall. And that’s when he realized, he was wearing some kind of robe. It was silk.
He felt a lump in his throat grow as he dragged his hand down from his forehead to his torso. He could feel it… he remembered the sensation of trying this on the first time. Keigo had dressed him in one of the lace bodices he made him model before. Deku cried at the realization
He then dragged his hand to his neck. He could feel it. The necklace around him. The feeling of the many crystals in the shape of a snowflake. Izuku broke down in terror. Complete and utter terror. Suddenly, the lights turned on in the room as Keigo walked in.

“You’re awake.”
Izuku gasped in shock as he saw the blood covering the necklace.

“Oh… that? Some homeless person grabbed it from where you carelessly tossed it. I had to get it back from them.” Keigo informed him before walking to him and pulling on the necklace, choking him.
“Another person who I had to hurt because of you. So tell me Izuku… are we done with the games?”

“What do you want from me?” Izuku whimpered. “I’m not… I’m not worth all of this trouble.”

“Oh Izuku.” Keigo wrapped his arms around him. “You’re the biggest treasure of all.”
“And to me? You’re priceless.”

“How did you find me?! How did you…”

“You should know.” Keigo laughed. “You slept in front of me too many times to be confused by the concept of a tracker.” He rubbed his hand on the nape of his neck, pushing on a small lump. “You didn’t know?”
“You’re crazy…” Izuku cried. “You’re crazy! Why can’t you just leave me alone?! I don’t want you! I want! I want-”

“Your teacher? It’s very clear you have a type, Izuku. You ruined my life and now you’re ready to ruin his? Don’t you get it? You are just getting what you want.”
Izuku tried to fight back what he said. He was so tired. He was tired of Keigo telling him how he felt. He was tired of him twisting everything he knew until he had no choice but to fall in line with his desires.

“No.” Izuku said firmly. “I WANT to be happy.”
“And you will, darling.” Keigo kissed him roughly causing Izuku to slap him.

“Get away!”

“Ah…” Keigo rubbed his cheek. “We’re gonna have a lot of fun, Izuku. I’ll be back with your dinner.”

He left the room and Izuku knew there was no point following him.
If he left, Keigo would find him again. If he called the police, they would release him. If he asked for Kacchan’s help, his life would be ruined. If he asked for anyone else’s help, they would blame him. He had two options left. Stay put and give him what he wants or kill him.
It wasn’t fair. He didn’t want to end anybody’s life. He didn’t want to have anyone else’s blood on his hands. He never asked for this. It was one dance. One stupid dance. Izuku buried himself under the covers and savored the time he had alone.
If he could re-do his life, he wondered what he would do differently. He thought back to the wedding. It was a little overwhelming with all the people, but maybe he should have stayed by his mother’s side. Maybe he shouldn’t have gone outside for air.
Maybe he shouldn’t have taken Keigo’s hand. He definitely shouldn’t have danced with him. Maybe he should have told his parents immediately. There were so many things he should have done differently. But when he thought really hard about it, he wouldn’t.
Because all of those things led to him meeting Kacchan. All of those things led him to UA. To friends who accept him no matter what. All of those things led to far too much happiness for his heart to handle. So what if it was over now? He was just grateful it happened.
The song that haunted him for years suddenly began to play. The very song that played at the wedding for their cursed dance.

“Izuku.” Keigo turned the lights back on. “It’s time for another dance.” He walked to him and offered his hand.
Izuku sighed before grabbing it and following him to the living room area. They were in an abandoned two story home but with no windows and only one door. He may have hated every second of what was to come but at least he could close his eyes and think of Kacchan.
Keigo whispered to him as they danced to some record player he had, but Izuku couldn’t hear him. He just pretended he was back in the loft. Back with Kacchan in the kitchen, swaying to no music, he could almost hear him.

“DIE ASSHOLE!”
That’s it… he giggled to himself as a car suddenly crashed through the front door.

Katsuki didn’t need Uraraka and Todoroki to understand him. What he needed was their help. They could tell him he was a piece of shit all they wanted. As long as they helped Deku. As long as they got him back from that monster. He explained everything.
How him and Izuku met. The deal they struck up. How everything was weird but completely innocent at first. How he fell hard for him, how their relationship began. He told them everything about Keigo and how Izuku got in this position in the first place.
“Are you out of your mind?!” Uraraka scolded him. “A kid! He’s a KID! And from the sounds of it, a very traumatized one! Of course he thinks he’s in love with you!”

“He is in love with him.” Shoto stated calmly. “Just because he’s young doesn’t mean his feelings aren’t real.”
“You can’t honestly buy this bullshit, Todoroki!”

“Actually I can.” Shoto turned to her. “My boyfriend was my teacher.” He smiled fondly. “He was a very kind man. I didn’t see it as him taking advantage at all. Unfortunately, he got sick and passed away before I graduated.”
The car went quiet after that.

“Not all relationships are black and white. You do care for him, don’t you Bakugo?” Shoto questioned.

“More than anyone I’ve ever cared about.” Katsuki stated as he pushed his foot on the gas pedal harder.
“Which is why I had a suspicion over Christmas Break. Izuku got a strange gift that he threw out right away. Some necklace. I had a bad feeling so when he wasn’t looking, I swapped one of the crystals with a tracking device.” He explained.
“I had to dig threw the garbage in our trash bin to find it, but I stuck it on tossed it back in. I figured when it started moving on trash day that it was just being taken to the dump. But, looking now… it’s moving.” Katsuki said intensely.
“So? Homeless people dig through trash all the time. What makes you think we’ll find him? We could be going the opposite direction!” Ochaco pointed out.

“It’s worth a shot!” Katsuki snapped.

“I agree.” Shoto sighed. “It’s the best chance we have.”
Uraraka thought back to Izuku. She thought back to him reaching out to her… how he probably thought at that moment that she was his best chance of escaping from that creep. And she totally shut him down.

“Right… I hope we find him then. I hope this works.”
“So you’ll help?” Katsuki asked them.

“Absolutely.” Shoto declared.

“I don’t support you.” Uraraka said shakily. “I don’t support this relationship… I don’t know if I can morally keep quiet. But… I will do everything I can to bring him back unharmed.”
Katsuki looked back at her then clicked his tongue. “That’s all I’m asking you to do….”

Katsuki tossed his phone to Shoto and had him monitor the location of the necklace. After 30 minutes of him directing Katsuki to where it was heading, he paused.

“What is it?”
“It stopped moving.” Shoto informed him.

“Where at?! A dump?!” Uraraka asked nervously.

“I’m not sure where this is.” Shoto scratched his head.

“Uraraka, type in the coordinates he gives you!” Katsuki demanded.
Shoto gave them to her and she urgently looked up the location on her phone.

“It’s… at a house.” Ochaco blinked. “It’s an hour drive from here.”

“Give me that.” Katsuki snatched the phone from her hand so he could see where he was going.

“You really think it’s him?”
“Someone could have dug it out of the trash and pawned it.” She noted.

“Then they’re about to get a visit.” Katsuki growled.

When they got to the house, they noticed it was in the middle of fucking nowhere. They didn’t pass a single other residence the last half hour there.
“Maybe a homeless person really did get it.” Ochaco shivered at the foreclosure signs on the house.

“There aren’t any windows…” Shoto noted.

Katsuki took a deep breath and pulled the paper Ashido gave him with the description of the car.

“THATS IT!”
He sighed in immense relief that he found him. He found Izuku. He just hoped he wasn’t too late.

“Hang on to your seatbelts.”

“Bakugo-kun, what are you- AAAAAAH!”

Katsuki charged the car straight into the door, knocking it down.

“DIE ASSHOLE!”
As soon as the rubble cleared he saw that prick in the living room area clinging onto Izuku who was staring at him in wonder. He was wearing a robe, fishnets and a lace bodice.

“IZUKU!” Katsuki opened the front door and leapt out of the car.
“Well well well, if it isn’t my replacement.” Keigo whispered into Izuku’s ear as he choked him with the necklace in one hand and wrapped his arm around his waist with the other.

“LET GO OF HIM YOU CREEP!” Katsuki roared as Ochaco and Shoto got out of the car themselves.
“You’re one to call me a creep.” Keigo shook his head. “I know what he did with you behind those classroom doors Bakugo Katsuki.” He glared at him.

“Kacchan…” Izuku coughed out a laugh. “What a dream….”

“Deku?” Katsuki blinked as he saw his wobbly smile.
“Midoriya-kun!” Ochaco cried. “Midoriya, I’m so sorry! I didn’t save you when you were right there! I-”

“What is this?” Keigo shook his head. “Did you give yourself to all three of them, my gem?” He tightened the necklace around Izuku’s neck.

“SHUT THE HELL UP!”
Katsuki charged for him and Keigo grabbed a knife from his pocket.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” He sliced the air, narrowly missing Katsuki’s face, but chopping off some of his hair.

“Kacchan!” Izuku panicked.

“You think you’re the only one who came prepared?!”
Katsuki pulled out his own butchers knife and aimed for Keigo’s arm that was choking Izuku. Keigo parried his knife with his own before tossing Izuku to the side.

“If you think this all I have, you have another thing coming.”

“Kacchan… it’s okay, stop.” Izuku shook.
“There’s no point in fighting it… there’s no point.” He repeated as he held himself. “This is just how my life is from now on…”

“You bastard!” Katsuki seethed as he kneed Keigo in the stomach who in turn head butted him with his forehead.

“You heard him, Bakugo-San.”
Keigo laughed. “He belongs to me and he knows it.”

Izuku watched as they clashed their knives, each cutting the other in their own way. It wasn’t a dream. It was another nightmare. Keigo had some ace up his sleeve. He was sure of it. He wasn’t a sane person and Kacchan was.
Shoto tried to run to Izuku’s side but Keigo threw the knife at him, stopping him in his tracks before grabbing a fire poker from the fireplace and whacking Katsuki to the ground, making him drop his knife.

“Bakugo-kun!” Uraraka shrieked.

“Izuku…. Who should I stab first?”
Izuku watched as he pointed the poker around the room before reaching for the gun that was tucked in the back of his pants.

“Decide. Hurry.”

“YOU BASTARD! If you think you can take me down with something like that!”

“Fine. It will be you the-”
“NO!” Izuku screamed as pointed the gun at Katsuki before breaking the necklace off and jumping on Keigo’s back, wrapping tightly around his neck. “DROP IT!” He cried as he choked him.

“IZUKU!”
“MIDORIYA!”

All three screamed as Keigo began to fire his gun all over the place.
“STOP….” Izuku cried as he pulled harder.

“You…won’t kill me.” Keigo choked out before pointing the gun at Izuku’s head.

“DAMNIT!” Katsuki grabbed the knife that fell on the floor and charged at Keigo once again.

“You’re too predictable.” Keigo smirked.
He then pointed it straight at Katsuki.

BANG!

“KACCHAN!” Izuku shrieked as Katsuki stepped moving. He felt the whole world freeze in that moment. No no no no. He couldn’t lose Kacchan! This was all his fault. He screamed before Keigo dropped him and collapsed on the ground.
“Huh?” Izuku looked down to see Keigo bleeding on his side. Everyone then turned to Todoroki who was holding his own gun firmly.

“I told you.” Katsuki smirked at Keigo who was coughing up blood. “I came prepared. Nice aim, Half and Half.”
Izuku immediately grabbed Keigo’s gun from his hand.

“You….think this will be the end?” Keigo laughed as more blood spilled from his mouth. “You must not know who I am… take me to the police all you want. I’ll get out. I’ll come back for what mine! This isn’t over!”
Katsuki walked over to him and pulled him up by the collar. “Funny you think I’m merciful enough to turn you into the police.”

Uraraka rushed to Izuku’s side a pulled a blanket out of her bag, wrapping him in it while Shoto walked over with the gun.

“Where should we do this?”
“Come on, Izuku. Let’s go wait in the car.” Ochaco sweetly put his arm around her shoulder and helped him stand up. He was shaking all over.

“He alright?” Katsuki asked her as she led him to the car.

“I think he’s in shock. Make it fast, okay?”

“Izuku!” Keigo screamed.
“Stop them! You know you don’t want this! It will be all your fault! Not a day goes by where you won’t remember that it’s YOUR FAULT I’M-” Before he could say more, Katsuki slugged him in the mouth, knocking his teeth out.

“YOU WILL NEVER SAY A WORD TO HIM AGAIN!”
Uraraka put Izuku in the backseat of the car and slammed the door shut.

“I’m surprised this thing is so durable. Besides a new paint job, it hardly needs any repairs. Not even a window broke after slamming through that door!” She noted as she turned on soothing music.
Izuku still couldn’t grasp what was real… he was still unsure if he just made everything up after Keigo started the music. Maybe he’s still dreaming. Maybe Keigo never woke him from his nap and this is all wishful thinking.

“Here. You need to drink this.”
She handed him a water bottle. “It will help.”

Izuku looked at it then back at her mistrustfully. Right, the water bottle. Keigo put something inside it and he drank it and he ended up here. What if he didn’t even end up anywhere? What if he was still in Keigo’s car?
He shook his head and handed it back to her.

“Izuku, you need to-”

“Is any of this real?!” He choked out as tears streamed down his face. “Did Kacchan really save me? Did you? You don’t like me, right? Why would you save me? Did I make it up?”
“I never disliked you!” Ochaco insisted. “You’re just a kid… I just worried you and Bakugo-Sensei were doing something inappropriate. I wasn’t wrong. But… we don’t have to discuss that now, okay? All that matters is you’re safe now.”

“Am I?”
Izuku heard a loud bang and Uraraka turned the music up. It didn’t drown out the other bangs, but it made them so they were less loud. Uraraka tried to talk over it and distract him.

A song came on the radio that he recognized. Where did he recognize it from?
“What song is this?” He asked her when the door opened suddenly and Katsuki rushed to his side, wrapping his arms around him.

“Izuku…”

“Kacchan…” He suddenly felt anchored into the world. Everything crashing into him at once as Shoto started the car.
“It’s….you.” Izuku sobbed.

“It’s me.” Katsuki rubbed his arm down his back soothingly.

“You’re…here,” Izuku touched his face, kissed his lips, inhaled his scent and knew… “You’re real! This is… this is real!”

“Damn right it is. You’re safe now Izuku! You’re safe!”
The bridge of the song played on the radio and suddenly Izuku was brought right back to his home, before his mother got married, in their small kitchen, as she sang it at the top of her lungs while baking him All Might shaped cookies.

“I…” He looked up and met Katsuki’s eyes.
“I want my mom!” He broke down.

Katsuki held him as he cried and pressed his lips to his forehead.

“Then let’s call her.”

To the top if you’re just catching up:
Katsuki sat with Izuku and held his hand tight as the doctor explained his condition to him at the hospital. He was in shock from everything he experienced and his lack of grasp on reality was due to the drugs that were in his system. Even though he was physically unharmed,
they wanted to keep him overnight for observation until they were all flushed out. Afterwards, they would need to give him an anesthetic and perform a small surgery to remove the tracking device implanted in his neck.

“Overall, you will be okay.” The doctor smiled sweetly.
“When your parents get here, we have psychologists that we would love to refer them to. You’re a survivor, Midoriya-kun. Be proud of yourself.” She left the room and Izuku still couldn’t really process what she said. It was a long day. He just wanted to go home. With Kacchan.
Katsuki didn’t say much after she left the room which Izuku was grateful for. He squeezed his hand reassuringly and rubbed smooth circles on the back of it. Izuku smiled at him and noticed the unsure look on his face.

“Is something wrong?” He asked, concerned.
Katsuki grabbed his hand and kissed it multiple times before staring into his eyes. “I almost lost you…” He said shakily. “It made me think how much I took having you in my life for granted. I’m glad I ended that bastards life, I’ll do it again but… fuck, I just got you back.”
“Your parents will be here any minute and I’m prepared for whatever happens, Izuku. But if this is the last time I hold your hand then-”

“Don’t say that.” Izuku caressed his cheek gently. “You saved my life. Yagi-San will have to take that into account. Mom will love you.”
“I just wanted to say I don’t regret it.” Katsuki kissed him. “I don’t regret loving you a single second.”

“Kacchan…” Izuku’s eyes began to water.

“Midoriya-kun.” The doctor knocked on the door. “Your parents are here.”

Katsuki unlaced their hands as the door opened.
“IZUKUUUUUU!” Inko cried as she threw her arms around her son.

“MOM!” Izuku held her tight and trembled in her grasp. He missed her. He really really missed her.

“My boy!” Toshinori threw his arms around both of them and Katsuki couldn’t help but be a little star struck.
“I’m so sorry. I should have come with you! I should have never-” Inko frantically mumbled.

“Don’t…” Izuku sniffled. “Don’t apologize Mom… I’m just so glad you’re here now.”

“I’m glad YOU’RE here.” Toshinori patted his head.
“I can’t believe he got out! There is something wrong with that young man’s head!”

“WAS something wrong.” Katsuki corrected him. “He’s gone now. For good.”

The story they told the police was that Keigo kidnapped Izuku and took him to that abandoned house.
When he wasn’t looking, Izuku managed to snatch his phone and call Shoto whose number was still in his pocket. The three were able to find him and when they arrived, Keigo panicked and ended his own life.

There were holes in the story. Lots of them.

Midoriya Kazui was excited as his dam dressed him up in his best clothes. Combed his unruly spiky hair, and put the smell good stuff all over him. It was a routine he was used to and something he found fun.

"Today, I'm gonna do it!" Izuku puffed his cheeks.
"Yeah! There's lantern sharks! And Lemon sharks and Whale sharks! And Nurse sharks!" Kazui and the kid, Mahiro became fast friends. Kazui ended up following him and his family all through the aquarium.

"You should come have dinner with us!" Mahiro begged.
"Yeah! That sounds fun!" Kazui completely forgot about his class as he walked out of the aquarium with them to the parking lot.

"Where are your parents, dear?" Kazui's mother asked him. "We're happy Mahiro made a friend, but.. maybe it's time you go back with your Mama?"

CW: Self Harm, Dark themes (But major healing and love at end!)

Midoriya Izuku lived his biggest dream as the number one hero. It was a short time, but it was the best time of his life. He lost One for All at 23 years old and now he was back to being quirkless.
Izuku gratefully guzzled the water as Katsuki held his head to his heart and let him hear it beat. He always knew exactly what to do.

“Kacchan, you had a hard night last night.” Izuku reminded him. “I saw the news, you were helping those civilians evacuate for hours.”
“The last thing you need to worry about is my runny eggs!”

“Izuku!” Katsuki kissed him. “When we got married, I made an oath. In sickness and in health, damnit! Helping you and your runny eggs is my job that I take seriously!”

Izuku smiled gratefully at him.

Bakugo Katsuki was a very important businessman. No, he was more like a business tyrant. Needless to say, he was extremely busy and this annoying ass wedding planner was the last of his worries. He looked at his assistant,
“I had the wrong idea about you. Thank you for watching over my son. Please continue to allow him to be part of your success.” Inko bowed.

“It wouldn’t be success without him.” Katsuki smirked before standing up. “I’ll try and take more days off for the both of us.”

Izuku jolted awake as his alarm blared for him to get ready for work. Shit! Was he at his mom’s?! He hadn’t slept here in two years, at least. His began to pound. Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no no no!

How much did he drink last night?! What did he do?!

“Are you boys ready for your first day?” Bakugo Mitsuki excitedly asked her son and his childhood friend as they walked out of the house.

“Don’t you dare snap a picture!” Katsuki seethed.
“I am excited, thank you Auntie.” Izuku smiled at her politely and let her take a photo. He then followed Kacchan out the door nervously.

“You better walk behind me!” Katsuki roared.

“Whatever you say, Kacchan.” Izuku said dejectedly. Their relationship was bad.
Izuku could only blame himself for it. He kept his distance from the alpha. But he had to live with him, and unbeknownst to Katsuki, he had to have a future with him. Because they were married.

Izuku wished he could be blissfully unaware of this fact like Kacchan was.

Midoriya Izuku took a deep breath as he looked into the morning sunrise. He needed to do it. He needed to confess his love to Kacchan. Ever since the war, things between them were nice… but awkward. There was something unspoken. A looming tension.
“I wish it were that easy, but the other world has enchanted objects! The other me insisted the Kacchan from that world was great at tricking people with it! I know the Kacchan from our world would never hurt Kazu, but I can’t risk it not being that Kacchan!” Izuku stressed.
“I get it.” Katsuki sighed as he stared down at the journal. “It’s really ours, huh? The brat?”

Izuku paused for a moment. “Yeah… he’s a lot like you.”

They stared at each other as that thought set in. They had a child that they made together. Out of love.
