- Onto fair play:
Poland: -4

- If level, random draw

This scenario applies to any combination of results whereby both games are decided by the same two-goal scoreline.

Saudi Arabia 2-4 Mexico

If Poland lose and Saudi Arabia-Mexico is a draw, Poland and Saudi Arabia both have four points.

- If Poland lose by three goals it will be decided by group goals scored

- If records identical, e.g:
Poland 0-3 Argentina
Saudi Arabia 0-0 Mexico

= Poland second on head to head.

If Argentina draw and Mexico win:

- If Mexico win by one or two goals, Argentina second

- If Mexico win by three goals it will be decided by group goals scored; if records are identical, Argentina finish second on head to head

- If Mexico win by four goals, Mexico are second
