Labour are backtracking on opposition to compulsory photo ID at polling stations from next May. £180m over ten years to solve a problem which barely exists! Any concerns about identification could be achieved at nil or minimal cost. This is #votersupression #voterID
Lib Dem opposition to spending £180m on making everyone have the requisite photo ID for elections from next May lost by 63 to 210.@LabourLordsUK abstained. This is letting the Conservatives get away with #votersuppression @LibDemPeers opposed it. Well done @KathPinnock
