Over and over, in private conversations with delegates, from the Global South and the Global North (even including the EU), we hear that @Elysee was blocking compromises, and single-handedly preventing the #EuropeanUnion from building bridges with developing countries.
This morning, we published an ad in Le Figaro and Libération, because we thought that it was a shocking failure of leadership that @EmmanuelMacron would go watch football instead of being here. 
But the reality is even worse: the leader of the so-called High Ambition Coalition (@HACfornaturean1) is in reality a saboteur, contributing with others to make the Montreal ship sink.
We call on @Elysee and the @EU_Commission to disclose that letter and to justify the #EU position regarding financial resources, and to build bridges with developing countries.
People need to know. Our 24,198,635 members in Avaaz in the #EuropeanUnion, and our almost 70 million citizens around the world, expect from France and the EU a strong and sincere leadership. And that starts with transparency. Brussels and Paris, the world’s eyes are on you.
