1/ First off, there was this crazy high inflation that was happening in countries all around the world 💰💸. It was causing all sorts of economic problems and making life hard for a lot of people. #inflation #PCE

2/ Then, the Omicron coronavirus variant started spreading and it was a total nightmare 🤒🤮. People were getting sick left and right and it was just chaos. #COVIDIsAirborne

3/ And, the Russian army invaded Ukraine 😱😡. It was a really tense situation and we were all just holding our breath hoping it wouldn't escalate any further. #RussiaInvadedUkraine

4/ Oh, and let's not forget the US Supreme Court ruling on abortion rights 🤰🏽💔. It was a really polarizing decision and it caused a lot of tension and heated debates. #AbortionIsHealthcare

5/ Plus, there were these insane heatwaves 🔥🔥🔥 that were breaking all sorts of records. It was so hot that it was hard to even go outside. #heatwave #climate

6/ And if that wasn't enough, there were droughts happening all around the globe 🌍💦. It was really tough on farmers and it caused a lot of food shortages. #food #foodsecurity

7/ And then, there was major flooding in Pakistan 🌧🌊. It was a total disaster and it affected so many people. #flood

8/ Moving on to the world of crypto, Luna meltdown hit the cryptocurrency market hard! 📉📉📉 The crash caused ~$300b loss in value across the entire crypto space. We all know someone who loses a fortune from this. #LUNACLASSIC

9/ The Luna crash bankrupted 3AC, a crypto hedge fund that couldn't meet margin calls 💸💰 This set off a domino effect in the market, causing catastrophic impact on crypto lenders like BlockFi, Voyager, and Celsius #MarginCall

10/ Just to top it all off, the FTX fallout that still feels fresh. My friends lost their life savings either locked in the now defunct exchange or through the contagion it caused. Those who know SBF felt betrayed. It's PERSONAL 😭😭😭 #FTX #SBF_FTX

11/ Ain't it crazy? Our finances, rights, health, and lives are all at risk at one point in 2022...
