Do you believe Labour can make Brexit work?
Interesting paper here from The Rejoin Party which analyses the main opposition parties refusal to commit to rejoining or listen to the majority of millions of potential voters fed up with the status quo and relentless damage Brexit continues to inflict.

Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole...
UK's long and fraught negotiations to leave the EU; ensuing political turmoil, 5 PMs in 6 years, social and economic woes, all heavily reported on the continent as being caused at least partly by Brexit.

Watch @CSBarnard24 Prof of Employment Law and EU Law explain just how devastating Mogg's deregulation frenzy will be. Please share, your future rights are hanging by a thread @GlasgowlovesEu
Austerity was invented by libertarian economists paving the way to corporate fascism. UK post Brexit is absolutely on this path to total kleptocratic rule with laws about to be put in place that will dismantle democracy and all accountability for the 1%.
Or we could ‘Make Brexit Great Again’…
And that's just phytosanitary certificates, there's more where that came from. Wait til REUL Bill kicks in, Brexit is an unmitigated disaster and always will be.

After Sadiq Khan's 'selective amnesia on Brexit' speech, Starmer says Sunak must stand up to ‘Brexit purity cult’ in Tory party. “The time for action on the protocol is now. The time to stand up to the ERG is now” Good move!
theguardian.com/politics/2023/…
Fantastic 🧵here on the bigger picture behind Brexit, an militant infiltration from within stealthily executing a far right libertarian exit from democracy.
Win the courts, win the war. #BrexitDisaster
Excellent article on the hangover of Brexit from @Hardeep_Matharu
“If Starmer goes into an election saying he will make Brexit work – which isn't possible – he won’t have the mandate to change that position. That means the country is trapped even longer.”

Deregulation is key to Brexit, 'make our own laws, take back control'. The REUL Bill is the megatrap that will seal the fate of UK citizens lives for generations, the reconfiguration of negatively framed statist laws to laws that favour corporate hegemony.
Now, now children we must agree to share and share alike. Ease the flow of goods, services and people from UK to Europe.
theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
The tipping point is nearing, the catastrophe of Brexit damage can no longer be ignored by our political representatives. G7 countries post pandemic recovery dwarfs the UK's why? The B word.
Update. Brexit has once again flown under the radar. Given its (albeit dwindling) potency among key voting constituencies, neither Labour nor the Conservatives have been willing to face up to the true costs of this ‘once in a generation’ event. #BrexitLies
Another Brexit dividend...for US big pharma, NHS is most definitely on the table, sell your house to pay for chemo?
UK won't get the EU model, the one where insurance systems are heavily regulated and affordable, (I know as I pay every month in NL)
Why after exposure of Russian influence, dark money donors, Russia Reports findings, threats to National security is Brexit not being properly investigated and reversed? NCA turned a blind eye to evidence, political representatives keep schtum, it stinks.
bylinetimes.com/2022/08/25/on-…
The Tories are absolutely selling off the NHS at the very moment it is needed by the public the most. This is textbook disaster capitalism, profit from crisis. Obscene.

UK Govt is in an economic war with its own citizens, defending extreme capitalism by inflicting austerity as a political weapon, this enforces coercion on workers by imposing the class appropriate 'proper' order on a society it deems worthless and undeserving of decent wages.
Budget cuts on welfare includes transferring public wealth to private hands. A weak and apathetic working class is a gift to the right who will entrench at all costs their ideological commitment to creating a desperate situation by employing agency workers during strikes.
Tories learned to build the 3 pillars of austerity, fiscal, monetary and industrial to wreak havoc on citizens lives during times of crisis, they will not stop until their libertarian free market ideology actually becomes enshrined in new post Brexit laws. #REUL

You have paid a ransom in a transaction where the Govt had held you hostage to your needs.
Tories 'Goodbye public services, your taxes mean shit but we will steal them anyway and laugh and party as the welfare state finally collapses'
theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
When Govts curb the state of vital public services, understand this is about something bigger, workers must be disciplined, voices must be stifled, dissent eradicated, public must be divided, laws must be changed. This is totalitarian democracy. No say.
What do you think happens next? Mortgage rates become unmanageable, rents shoot up, food/energy bills skyrocket, etc. Imagine yourself as an unscrupulous disaster capitalist eyeing the chaos, you'll make a fortune out of other peoples suffering and pain which this Govt applauds.

Corporate greed has birthed a 21st century Gilded Age where capital accumulation on the back of crisis exerts a stranglehold on workers rights to a decent wage and right to strike #BrexitCarnage

What's happening now is a return to the old ways and the old abuses of western Imperialism. Tories ideology of social Darwinism thrives on manufacturing crisis while extorting public wealth to subsidize and sustain total corporate hegemony. REUL Bill will cement that power.
Tories thrive on economic mismanagement and anti-governance, capital accumulation exploits unemployment by off shoring their profits. As workers and unions are eviscerated, so public spending is hobbled. Disaster capitalism & the REUL Bill will sunset 4000 EU Laws on 31.12.2023

Sigh. Sunak's mentor at Stanford was Prof.Paul Romer, a libertarian megalomaniac who tried to privatise Honduras by turning it into a charter city, Supreme Court shut it down. Deregulation is key here. REUL Bill will sunset 4000 EU Laws on 31.12.2023

Brexit=Libertarian exit from democracy. I highly recommend reading Adventure Capitalism by @raycraib the first book that examines in detail the libertarian agenda of carving up countries into self governing regions with their own laws beyond Govt reach.
Corporation tax on profits arising in freeports can be reduced – although how to calculate just what those profits are is open to widespread abuse'. Reduced health and safety standards are often permitted in freeports. These put workers at risk. REUL Bill!

Tories represent a grotesque distortion of high office, warped libertarian ideology honed for decades by economists and implemented through think tanks masquerading under charity status, using public money! Could it really get any worse? Wait til REUL Bill kicks in Dec 2023
Please watch @CSBarnard24 Prof of EU and Employment Law explain why REUL Bill is an unprecedented far right attack on the rule of law, why the Tories will have nothing in place and what the ensuing chaos will bring for the entire country. #BrexitDisaster
R/w thinking behind charter cities exploits philanthropy that privately run cities will alleviate poverty, don't be fooled, they are a deregulation nightmare hatched by libertarian economists to install corporate rule beyond Govt reach. #BrexitReality

For every action, there is an opposite reaction.
As Tories increase prosperity for the rich, disaster capitalism cements austerity as policy choice which increases paycuts, strikes, foodbanks, collapse of public sector and rule of law. UK is a Kleptocracy.
theguardian.com/news/2022/dec/…
Govt announcing spending cuts matches the amount of profit that corporate hegemony has reaped, there is no lack of money, it's just unequally redistributed. All on the back of crises, you see how it works?
Deregulation goes hand in glove with wealth accumulation. City of London corporation is a charter city (est 1075) with it's own laws, offshoring gains to tax havens, private businesses dominate the electorate and have an unelected Remembrancer in HoC.
