"Given the geopolitical atmosphere in the #Pacific. We are seeing increased attention from the US. Military. While most of the attention from the US Military has positive benefits to FSM, we should also begin to expect an increase in training exercises taking place in/around FSM"
"Of paramount importance is that our Nation’s citizenry be informed in advance when US #jets fly over the State of Yap, for example, or when the US practice firing anti-aircraft #missiles from the ground. These exercises will be increasing in frequency over next several years"👀 
🇯🇵🇦🇺: "FSM will soon be receiving the 2nd Guardian-class vessel from #Australia, we’ll also be receiving four patrol boats donated to us by #Japan, one for each of our states, which should have the effect of helping our nation to defend its sovereignty and its resources."
With that the Japanese government (& #Nippon foundation) have/are providing #patrolboats / vessels to at least three #Pacific countries #Samoa, #Palau and FSM! #Japan is definitely stepping up! I'm very interested in how much coordination exists between Aus & Jpn in that space
