🧵This thread is with the detailed initial analysis of what was published so far on the (Qatari Turkish) Governance Bodies for Phase 2 in Gaza. (Side note: Have they completely lost your minds or are they betraying Israel? What the hell is going on here?!)

General structure and mandate:
1. Peace Council
2. Executive Council for Gaza Management
3. National Committee for Gaza Management - Palestinian Technocrats Council

The first list, of Peace Council members, are those who will be responsible for the overall oversight of Trump’s plan and will essentially focus on making major decisions- such as mobilizing international resources, coordinating between countries, and setting broad policies for Gaza’s rehabilitation and promoting peace.

The second list of Executive Council members is supposed to oversee the implementation of the plan and the rehabilitation of the Strip by on-the-ground entities.

They are responsible for managing services, strengthening civilian institutions, and daily coordination with local governance- that “National Committee for Gaza Management” whose Palestinian members were already announced on Wednesday, and many of them are identified with Fatah and the Palestinian Authority.

2/ ⭕️ “Peace Council” - The “Supreme Governing” Body
The body that is supposed to oversee the rehabilitation of the Gaza Strip during the two-year transition period and, according to reports in the American media, will also serve to resolve other conflicts around the world.

🔴 At the head of the Council stands Trump himself.

Additional members are:
1. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio,
2. The American mediators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner
3. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair,
4. American businessman Mark Rowan,
5. World Bank President Ajay Banga,
6. Robert Gabriel, a Trump advisor who currently serves as Deputy National Security Council Director of the U.S.

Each member of the Board of Directors will oversee a defined portfolio, essential for stabilizing Gaza and its long-term success.

Some later reports say that Trump has invited dozens of leaders from around the world to serve as members of the Peace Council, including Turkish President Erdoğan, Egyptian President Al-Sisi, Qatari Prime Minister Al Thani, Indonesian President Prabowo, as well as Argentine President Milei and the leaders of Italy, Germany, Australia, Britain, Canada, and Morocco.
