On 10/5/17, Donald Trump called a press conference with a bunch of military brass behind him to say, twice, “the calm before the storm.” Then he ended it.

The Kremlin propaganda machine went immediately into motion to take advantage of it.

The phrase became a slogan for QAnon.
By the next day, 10/6/17, pure Kremlin propaganda websites like “Rumor Mill News” had the phrase “the calm before the storm” on the front page.

Trump’s press conference was obviously called for some reason. What was it? And why has the military never explained its presence?
Within four days of starting, and less than a month after Trump’s weird press conference, the “Q” LARP (live action role play character) on 4chan had adopted the phrase “The calm before the storm.”
