⚡️ After the EP🇪🇺, also @PACE_News has unanimously demanded the setting up of an int’l special tribunal to prosecute #Russian & #Belarusian political and military leaders who “planned, prepared, initiated or executed” Russia’s war of aggression against #Ukraine. (1)
Its jurisdiction would be limited to the crime of aggression committed against #Ukraine as the International Criminal Court does not have at present jurisdiction over the crime of aggression committed against Ukraine. (2)
PACE also called for an international compensation mechanism for #Ukraine, open to all like-minded states, including as a first step an international register of damage and later a commission to adjudicate claims and compensation fund. (3)
