Because I've been involve in multiple contract negotiations, including during my role the Europe, Middle East, and Africa information security officer of one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world, I knew that what I found was real.

At the same time it was very obvious to me that if I am going to expose what I just found, it is going to haunt me professionally.
The LAST thing in the world a cybersecurity/information security professional wants is to be associated with data exposure.

I had to face the question: what am I serving? Am I serving my ego, or the truth?
Our ego has no ability to know the truth because the ego is a referencing system that gives us a sense of meaning from our own, ever changing prism of reality.

The truth is in the now, and the only way to experience it is via the surrendering of our ego, of our story, of our truth. The truth was that the contract I saw was real, and that regardless of what personal impact it would have on me, I had to share it.

Not only I've shared it, I've done everything I could to make the content as attractive and viral as possible. I've called it #PfizerLeak, I've redacted the name of the country from the contract, I've created a series of short snapshots, in one thread.

It worked. #PfizerLeak became so viral, that within less than 48 hours Twitter has restricted my account (@elonmusk - I really want to know why!).
However, it also made a mess of my professional life, as anyone googling my name saw the word Leak.

Most people, especially non-cyber professionals, such as HR and executives, had saw that and wrongfully assumed I performed an illegitimate action, while in fact I shared contracts that were available on the web.
So yes, it had a huge impact on my life.

BUT, it was only via this #courageousdiscourse that my ego had witnessed such a profound transformation and growth, beyond its wildest imagination. I've met wonderful people, I felt deep sense of purpose. Yes, it was painful, but it saved me from suffering.
