My dermatologist recently started working out of a second clinic. With GP referral in hand, I went to my usual place to be told he had no appointments before June. 👀 His new clinic can take me tomorrow. But for the Medicare rebate I have to make a new appointment with my GP /3
This requires another drag on the GP’s valuable time, further cost to the taxpayer and to me (she doesn’t bulk bill) and needless cost to both her productivity and mine just to have the address changed on the referral letter. 🤷♂️ Tell me there’s not a better way.. #auspol
