Aftershock activity is high with more than one hundred M>3 located so far. They spread along more than 200 km along the fault, suggesting a bilateral rupture from epicenter (which is also consistent with damage in N. #Syria. #deprem #TurkeyEarthquake

For comparison here is the same map after the second earthquake. One can see a second fault oriented E-W

As always after damaging earthquakes, social media are full with claims that X or Y had predicted it!
At this stage, prediction does not exist. Do not listen to people claiming they are successful at it!

and frankly speaking if someone was indeed able to predict earthquakes, he would deserve the Nobel Prize! So rather than making unverifiable claims on social media, better to demonstrate the validity of the method in a scientific paper
