This tip can not be underestimated.
Everywhere in the crypto space, there is a risk.
Risk of an asset losing its value, being hacked, being a scam/rug pull and more.
You are responsible for evaluating the assets you buy.

In 2022, I did not buy #UST or #Luna because I saw the inherent risk and flawed architecture.
I asked myself, Luna is a speculative asset. Are there mechanisms in place to make it go up in value?
No, in fact, you had to mint (inflate) Luna to back UST.

You need to value assets in the same way.
Ask yourself, what is the purpose of the token? - Is it clear with a direct tokenomic purpose?
How many extra factors and tokens are there in the ecosystem?

- You should also evaluate the credibility of the team behind.
- Evaluate if it has been battle-tested (they claim X, has it proved it can do X in the Y market conditions?)
- Is it a micro-cap coin, or does it have a huge market cap?

You go all in on a meme-coin; you are taking a gamble.
You diversify your investments across 5 big layer 1s, all with promising and developing ecosystems; you are investing smart.

📍30% Stables.
📍50% Conviction assets (longer-term, but not long-term).
📍20% Play bag. Take the risk--short-term trades.

Having stablecoins in your portfolio is crucial.
They can save your life. No-joke.
- If your investment goes down, you can rebuy.
- If your investments went to shit, you are not broke.
- You can ride the wave if new random opportunities arise.

This brings us to momentum.
Always check what the current narratives are. Cross that with your strategies and conviction, and if they aline - it is a green light for you.
Tokens with no momentum are not worth buying unless expecting momentum in the future.

Remember, the market works in cycles.
You need to take advantage of the opportunities that arise when there is fear in the market.
--Sell when everyone is full of hopium.

Do not invest long term, but invest in an attempt to catch the cycle bottom when buying and the cycle top when selling.
