Artificial Intelligence is the hottest technology in 2023. Most tech companies are making new investments in AI which has created new career opportunities not just in machine learning but in MLOps as well. This thread is on career opportunities in #MLOps. RT to spread the word.👇
What is MLOps?

As companies generate and collect vast amounts of customer data, managing these large datasets and the numerous machine-learning models they create will get increasingly complex. MLOps is sometimes referred to as #AIOps as well.
MLOps is the systematic approach to managing the entire lifecycle of ML models and their deployment in a production environment. It combines principles and practices of software engineering and #DevOps to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable management of ML models.
MLOps help organizations efficiently manage diverse ML assets, including data, #algorithms, models, and infrastructure, and ensure that these assets are aligned with business objectives and meet the desired quality standards.
What should I learn to get into MLOps?

Start by understanding the software engineering and DevOps principles and practices, including version control systems and CI/CD pipelines using tools like #GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, etc.
#Kubernetes is a must-know tool for MLOps. It is the leading platform for the management of containerized applications.

Familiarize yourself with popular machine learning algorithms, models, and libraries such as OpenAI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
MLOps deals with large amounts of data: knowing big data tools like Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Snowflake would help.

Some specialized MLOps tools that are getting popular learning about them would boost your resume - AWS Sagemaker, Apache Airflow, and #TensorFlow Serving.
Many of these tools use Python. So start your MLOps journey by learning Python.

Tips to avoid Remdesivir/Tocilizumab/Covid-19 scams: 🧵

1) Do a Twitter search and Google search on the phone number and account number provided to you. Check if there are other people complaining about the fraud. Yesterday a friend of my got frauded by 9406910131.
.....
Search this number on Twitter and you will see people complaining about it. You will also see people claiming that this is a #verified source.
2) Remdesivir needs to be kept between 2-8 Celsius at all times. Hence, even if you get the injection from the black market, it would have probably lost its efficacy due to incorrect maintenance of cold storage.

How Covid-19 Scams Works 🧵:

1) Scammers create Covid-19 resource posts and circulate them on WhatsApp with their numbers.

2) These are further legitimized when resource portals and/or influencers unknowingly post out these numbers.
3) These numbers are often marked as #verified while the only verification some did was - checked if the number rings or if there is someone at the other end who claims to provide that medicine
4) When desperate guardians of these patients are looking for medicines, they find these numbers and contact them.

5) The scammers charge the guardians based on what they think the guardian can pay. Remdesivir that's has an MRP of 2-3.5K is being sold for 10K to 50K a vial.
