Not to be a bummer, but the National Football League is a pretty horrific organization. You might not notice if you're only watching on Sundays, but if you look between the headlines, you'll find a multi-billion dollar empire built on exploitation.

Like the #MagicEye puzzles of the 90's, the underlying suffering is invisible unless seen from the right angle.

This is how American #capitalism works. The exploitation is pushed out of our sight, and as long as we don't see it we can pretend we aren't complicit.

I'm not telling you not to watch. Hell, I'll still be watching. But don't look away from the underlying business model. Demand better. From the #NFL and from every business you support.
