Anyway, it's time to #flow on about the #WaterBearer, the one we call #Aquarius
#Saturn actually rules 2 signs of the #Zodiac, like most of the other 7 planets, except the Sun & the moon.
If #Saturn describes the process of evolution in #Capricorn, then in #Aquarius, he describes mutation, dynamic innovation.
The "water" of #Aquarius is freshness and renewal based a deep and abiding connection to #Truth. It is to strive for integrity with others while appeciating a dignity for yourself.
FTR, & many don't know this, #Aquarius is NOT a water sign, but an #Air sign. They provide connection based on principle
The original idea of #Aquarius is far more terrestrial though. Many attribute its origin to the earliest waterbearer, the Nile.
1 of the lasting attributes of this fact is in the actual glyph for #Aquarius: bit.ly/W8ZSwJ w/ "N" bit.ly/W8ZZbM
The life & truth giving waters of #Aquarius bear a very deep lesson for us & for those influenced by Aquarius by moon, rising or Sun.
As the "mutation,"Aquarians symbolize original sparks that take what's outside of the norm (or center) & bring it to the center.
Several other ways to bring that idea home. #Leo represents the heart; #Aquarius represents the circulation, esp. extremities
#Aquarius also represents moment when humans must come together to form their own light & heat rather than rely on the #Sun/#Leo
#Aquarius represents the audience & the critic while #Leo signifies the actor on stage or the established artist.
#Aquarius are guerilla fighters for #Truth, Uniqueness, or Equality while #Leo signifies the establishment/natural authority
It's key to understand that #Aquarius signifies the moment of unique expression of being (one's personal sense of truth)…
& then the work of protecting that sense of truth AND making sure that others have their sense of truth safeguarded as well.
Most like to think of #Aquarians as oddballs in someway. But here's what most miss about that…
#Aquarians fundamentally question how we frame "normal," realizing that there's a deeper way to live even more authentically.
#Aquarians summon within us how to live with integrity, realizing that principles & uniqueness can't be separated from being.
As children of #Saturn, #Aquarians examine & challenge the fundamental assumptions by which we construct our realities…
...but the struggle for them is how to maintain that level of insight w/o getting attached to any one particular clique or group
#Aquarians strive most to be in-dee-vid-you-als, in the truest sense of the word--truly w/o divisions from their own vision.
Their greatest strength & their greatest weakness: the vision that they recognize as unique to them, but they want to share
...however they can be quite idealistic (& sometimes single-minded) abt how this vision should work w/ others & in the real world
This is when #Aquarius can go into flip mode & seem more like #Leos. The guerilla becomes tyrant, fixated on enforcing a vision
Fortunately, this isn't often the case. It's usually the opposite. Others attempt to force #Aquarians to adopt the "normal" vision
This is fool-hardy. #Aquarians have among the most indomitable wills in the #Zodiac when they are focused on a vision.
Like I said you can't outpace a #Capricorn, it is remarkably hard to distract #Aquarian once the vision has been set.
For instance, when I saw Will Smith's "The Pursuit of Happyness," mid-way, I realized Chris Gardner had to be an #Aquarian.
I was right. He's a double #Aquarius. Once he had it in his mind to be a stockbroker, despite all odds, he was going to be that.
For instance, Charles Lindbergh was an #Aquarian. By hook or crook, he was going to be SMASH records & convention. He did.
Although #Aquarius Rosa Parks had been trained for civil disobedience, once she sat down, she was bound for jail. #Immovable
& again, once #Aquarians embrace their "weirdness," they blaze a path for others to do the same
Aquarians look out for the people, in various forms, who they feel are not heard or seen enough.
So on one pole you have people like Angela Davis, Toni Morrison, Alice Walker, Frederick Douglass, Jordan, Edison, FDR, Oprah…
who articulate a vision for those who somehow don't have access to the center or are marginalized. Then there's another side…
I often tease about the gaggle of Am. conservatives who also feel they're looking out for those who are marginalized, like…
#Aquarians Ronald Reagan, Sarah Palin, Andrew Breitbart, Dan Quayle, Glenn Beck, Paul Ryan, Dick Cheney, Allen West…
The conservatives manifest both the iconoclastic sensibility of #Aquarius AND the traditional sensibility of #Saturn.
However, idealism is a trait that #Aquarius has in spades and it's refreshing.
That idealism is what often fuels their overtures toward turning "the status quo." People forget that Saturn/Chronos was once an idealist & rebel
That's why it's odd that people focus on Uranus as ruler of Aquarius when Uranus/Ouranos was the status quo & was overthrown in the myth!
#Aquarius symbolizes the possibilities of the future & sometimes they even seem like they're from the future. For example...
#Aquarius Yoko Ono, John Lennon's wife, was an accomplished performance artist before performance art existed.
Or it can be the way that we re-envision the past to understand our present & future like #Aquarian Charles Darwin did.
#Aquarians really believe in #Truth and believe that #Truth should and does win out.
One of the oddest sets of arguments that I got into in my late 20s/early 30s were with #Aquarians about the concept of #Truth
Let me explain. As a Sun in #Scorpio, I have a penchant toward profound cynicism.
(I'm in recovery.) Yet I dipped hard in the cynicism cider when I was younger.
One day, I said w/in earshot of an #Aquarian colleague, at 8 am (longer story), "Truth is a whore & I f--k her on occasion!
She went ballistic."How can u say that about Truth? There is such a thing as Truth...blah,blah,blah." We debated. She was hot & literally foaming at the mouth.
I thought #Truth had become a real person, and I was talking about her best friend.
Anyway, being the amateur social scientist & astrology skeptic that I was at the time, I decided to test this on other #Aquarians I knew.
I tested on my Aquarian father, friends, etc. Similar reax. I didn't get same reaction w/ a sample of other signs, including my own.
Now the answer to this…
#Aquarians may not believe in anybody's sacred cows, but do believe there are more objective measures of #Truth
& it's much deeper than "objective" truth for #Aquarius. It's also a matter of principle, based on their unique desires & vision.
This is why I cringe when I read so much bunk about #Aquarians being "detached." Here's my take on that…
First off, I don't know any detached #Aquarians and I've met a lot of them.
But here's what I would say is "detached" about them...THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR REINDEER GAMES OR YOUR RULES!
I screamed that cuz it's critical. If you are whining, again, abt how bad your cousin mistreats you & your Aquarian looks zoned out…
...this is not detachment. This is boredom.
You ain't talkin' about nothin' that's gonna change your world, his/hers or the world at large.
And let's be clear, in some capacity, #Aquarians want to change the world.
This doesn't mean that #Aquarians don't care about family or the details of life (though this is true for some). It means that…
...#Aquarians are often focused on what they think is the big picture & that includes family, etc. But they don't want to get…
...overwhelmed by the details. Nor anyone else's social expectations of what they *should* do…
They also can be very emotional. One was recently crying her heart out in my counseling chair. #Aquarius
They don't necessarily feel detached from their end. In fact, they often feel so much that they feel they don't/can't show. #Aquarius
This holding back often has nothing to do with the other person or a fear of showing weakness, per se.
#Aquarians spend a lot of time afraid of their uniqueness or weirdness. Some work against themselves from that fear.
So sometimes that aloofness/detachment is more an awkwardness abt how to show what's inside, because when…
…they've tried to show what's inside, it's not been well-received. Figures all things inside will be rejected.
Here is something else I LOVE about #Aquarians I've known or my observations. #Aquarians connect to people, not titles.
Example: I've known #Aquarians who've allowed their exes to drive their car after the relationship ends cuz they're still cool
The relationship doesn't end cuz titles have changed , nor the former amenities. This doesn't seem to be the way of the world.
People have the expectation that titles & certain boundaries matter. This is very difficult for non-#Aquarians to understand when…
...#Aquarians transgress them. You want your boyfriend to stop talking to his #Aquarian ex and best buddy.
You might be baffled when he may want to show you the door rather than them. #Aquarius
This is because #Aquarians are loyal, especially to their friends. They reflect a key aspect of their own individuality.
So when you ask an #Aquarian to choose between friends, etc., it's like asking them to cut off an arm. I'm dead serious.
Their friends or peeps reflect how they bring what's at the margins more toward the center.
I studied w/ #Aquarius Toni Morrison in college. She was so brilliant, I thought I could hear her brilliance pinging when it was quiet!
Ms. Morrison is clear why she writes, like a true #Aquarian.
She seeks to re-create full, original lives for those Blk ppl, especially women, who are marginalized in canonical Am. Literature
Take #Aquarian @KeithOlbermann. His 1st allegiance is to his sense of the #Truth w/ his own wit, not a party or #network.
In fact, the greatest challenge and "sin" for an #Aquarius is to get locked into thinking they're above it all. (You're not. )
#Librans might have a lock on #wit, but no one can sear you w/ contemptuous, righteous disgust like an #Aquarian. Nobody.
For instance, I used to love to do dramatic readings of #Aquarian Frederick Douglass' 4th of July speech: loveman.sdsu.edu/docs/1852Frede…
And I will always be grateful to #Aquarius @kiernamayo for once being the ONLY online Blk news magazine that had astrology online!
And here's a little more from Toni Morrison & her brilliance: vulture.com/2019/08/toni-m… #Aquarius
BTW, I still don't believe in #Truth, but I would never attach any expletives to Truth now. I’ve learned thanks to #Aquarius
I hope this burst of tweets about #Aquarius (or #Aquaboogies and #WinterVirgos as I nickname them) has been insightful.
Of course, all these statements depend on the dynamics of ur own personal horoscope, not just 1 sign. This is a general guide.

As the warm story-inspiring light of #Sagittarius dissipates, we feel the darkness creep around us w/ our days shortening.
At the pt. of the shortest day, where night & darkness would seem to prevail, we step into the mystery & power that is #Capricorn
From a spiritual point of view, #Capricorn symbolizes that moment when the darkness of matter SEEMS to prevail over the light.

The journey into #Scorpio will start a lil different. Let's start with the fact that I never wanted to be one.
Being born on this mythical creature called the cusp btwn Scorpio & Sagittarius (Nov. 22). It was a no brainer for me: I was a Centaur.
If I had to select one. I mean, wouldn't a sane person rather choose to be a Centaur than a bug? #Scorpio

Okay, I'm Muslim, and I understand that some Muslim women wear a niqab (face covering except for the eyes) with their hijab. But what is the point of that on a dating site? #Sigh
So far being on Muslima.com has been the most bizarre of online dating experiences. I've already fended off scammer with a very elaborate scam. She confessed to it when I busted her in straight-up lie. (She put up an obviously doctored passport.)
And more interest from folks, but bizarre set-ups, like 28 yo women looking for a man 30-80. When asked why they are interested in marrying an 80 yo, they respond, "Love has no age."

In #Virgo, we have the representation of the harvest, of the moment of separating the wheat from the chaff.
We can be content to analyze the various differences and components. We can be efficient, precise, and attentive to process.
In #Virgo, we are in preparation mode for the coldness to come.

There's a lesson here, and it's not about Cawthorn's taste in fashion or having fun. It's more related to the saying, "Don't bring a knife to a gunfight." It seems Cawthorn showed up with an envelope opener instead.
The one thing I've observed in all my years on social media is when you get dragged, it's often less about your enemies, but more about the friends who decide to stop protecting you. Or who just outright turn on you and throw you to the wolves. I believe this has happened here.
Cawthorn somehow thought he was in the position to set his GOP colleagues on fire with his own self-righteousness. Cool, if you've been squeaky clean yourself. But that's not often the case.

That's an ancient idea, advanced in "Western" culture in the Myth of Er. You can think of it as more a symbiote, guiding you. We are forgetful vessels with the Daemon to remind us of who we are and our purpose.
Just the opposite for me, though. A tree can have hundreds of thousands of leaves, never in the same place, in its lifetime but we have a Cosmos that needs to keep one individual soul over many lifetimes? That's a pretty poor Cosmos. Best to surface new buds.
We serve a Cosmos that seeks to know itself, not for us to know ourselves. At least that's what makes sense to me.
