Maha Shiv Ratri is the day that is so auspicious that even pouring little water on Shivling can give one Moksha on the same day. It is more auspicious than all other pious festivals of all religions. #महाशिवरात्रि #Mahashivratri, Shiva
It is the most auspicious day of the year.
Why is that so - Many say that Bhagwan Shiva married on this day & that is wrong.
Shiva married on Chaitra Shukl paksh triyodashi Ravivar in Purva Falguni nakshatra. This is stated in Shiva Puran. #महाशिवरात्रि #Mahashivratri, Shiva
If you have Shiva Puran book by Gita press you can see this on page no. 111 and read about auspicious results by worshipping Bhagwan Shiva on the day Bhagwan Shiva married. #महाशिवरात्रि #Mahashivratri, Shiva
Brief description.
Maha Shiva Ratri is when Bhagwan SadaShiva first appeared in form of Agnistambh (Infinite Jyotirlinga).
When Vishnu & Brahma were having an argument, Bhagwan Shiva suddenly appeared in form of Infinite Jyotirlinga. #महाशिवरात्रि #Mahashivratri, Shiva
Both were amazed. To know about beginning & end of Agnistambh, Brahma moved upwards & Vishnu downwards, but in vain as they could not find its beginning & end. They came back to where they began. They tried to know what the jyotirlinga was. #महाशिवरात्रि #Mahashivratri, Shiva
Finally they bowed to infinite Jyotirlinga. They surrendered to Bhagwan Shiva and requested Bhagwan Shiva to show them, Sakar Swaroop (divine bodily form). They bowed and prayed there for 100 deva years. #महाशिवरात्रि #Mahashivratri, Shiva
Suddenly clear sound of Om Om … appeared and Bhagwan Shiva along with Maa Uma appeared first in Sabd-brahm form and then in Sakar Swaroop (divine bodily form). #महाशिवरात्रि #Mahashivratri, Shiva
Bhagwan Shiva with five faces & three moons on each face was looking auspicious & blissful. Seeing Bhagwan Shiva with Ma Uma both became ecstatic, stood still. Then they worshipped Bhagwan Shiva & Maa Uma. Pleased, Bhagwan Maheshwara Spoke - #महाशिवरात्रि #Mahashivratri, Shiva
“Sons! This is a great day. I am pleased with the Puja done by both of you. That's why this day would be considered most auspicious and great among greatest days. This day is the most favourite day of mine and will be called Maha Shiv Ratri. #महाशिवरात्रि #Mahashivratri, Shiva
One who worships me on this day can even do the work of creation & destruction of world. One who worships me on this day, fasts day & night & controls all desires will get the same result of worshipping me for a year.”
Also because He is the destroyer of the devatas, as per a Smrti shloka quoted by Svaami Vijayeendra Teertha Shripaadagalu, in Shaiva-Sarvasva Khandanam of Nyaayamauktikamaala.

Being the destroyer who destroys Brahmaa, Indra, Rudra, Yama & Varuna, he is known as ‘Hari’.
Shukracharya: A great knowledgeable person who was respected even by Devas and Saints. He was an expert in Political Science. He founded the Shukra Niti. In his niti he has laid down the following points:
#SanatanaDharma #hinduism https://t.co/syF74bOq87twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
One should never reveal certain things in front of others.
It’s great if you are loved and respected by all, but don’t show it off in front of others- doing so will lower your respect in the eyes of others
#SanatanaDharma #hinduism https://t.co/2pRf0avyqJtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
If you have to face insult at any point in your life, it’s best to keep it to yourself; telling that to everyone you know will make you feel insulted in front of others as well.

Tantra is an abstract religion, it doesn't have a clear definition. Different seekers define it differently, many not even consistent with each other. Tantra, though, is clearly recognized as being very different from the ancient Hindu Vedic tradition. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduismtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Before trying to delve into tantrism, it is important to understand that this is not a single coherent system. It is rather a tradition that gradually evolved from an accumulation of practices and rituals, in order to attain the grace of the divine. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduismtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
The practitioner of tantra uses his own prana or divine energy in order to harness it to the universal prana, thereby attaining his goal. The goal in question could be either spiritual, material or both. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduismtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Tantra in Hinduism could be considered to be parallel to the Hindu Vedic tradition. Tantra contains written records of the Agama, which comes in four main parts, as follows: #SanatanaDharma#Hinduismtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Jnana or metaphysical knowledge
Yoga or meditative practices
Kriya or ritual practices
Charya or ethical and religious principles of conduct #SanatanaDharma#Hinduism
Most of the staunch Hindu Vedic practitioners, however, consider the Tantras to be anti-Vedic in character and hence, altogether shun both the cult and the practitioners of the same. #SanatanaDharma#Hinduismtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
The universe consists of a Mahabrahmanda, or grand Cosmos, and of numerous Brihatbrahmanda, or macrocosms evolved from it. As is said by the Nirvana Tantra, all which is in the first is in the second. #spirituality#Cosmostwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
In the latter are heavenly bodies and beings, which are microcosms reflecting on a minor scale the greater worlds which evolve them. "As above, so below." This mystical maxim of the West is stated in the Vishvasara Tantra as follows: #spirituality#Cosmostwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
