1. Gerald Parker, associate dean for Global One Health at Texas A&M, will never see his name in a story by @carlzimmer @JoelAchenbach @sciencecohen or @SmritiMallapaty b/c he uses neutral language that does not promote a #scicomm agenda. theeagle.com/news/where-did…

Some examples:
2. Parker describes "two plausible theories" although "neither proves direct and definitive evidence."

This language violates #scicomm which finds that a lab leak is "speculation" that "lacks direct evidence."

Maybe Parker doesn't have a NY Times subscription?

Here's more:
3. Parker states that we don't know how this virus jumped into humans and began transmission.

This violates #scicomm by ignoring some shabby studies published in Science by Worobey. et. al. that were lapped up by #scicomm writers at Times, Post, Science & Nature.
4. Lot to unpack here, but Parker is pointing out that photos show Chinese scientists were not wearing proper protective gear, and that it seems odd as hell that a virus found far suddenly appeared in Wuhan, where they were studying these viruses.

Coincidence of coincidences!
5. Parker also notes that this market outbreak doesn't make much sense, which totally, and forever violated sacred #scicomm on the pandemic narrative.

I'm guessing this guy sees through the @hholdenthorp who continues to mislead people about evidence of a possible lab accident
6. Finally, Parker violates #scicomm by not calling people "conspiracy theorists" and instead calling for an investigation that is independent, objective, and w/o conflicts of interest.

Those words frighten virologists and Science Magazine which has published their papers.

1. Researchers Find No Evidence (Again!) Of Mask Effectiveness, Yet Self-Styled Experts Continue Promotion disinformationchronicle.substack.com/p/researchers-…
My interview with Cochrane Review author Tom Jefferson, who says governments "don’t have the science to back up what they claim."
2. Jefferson dismisses mask promoters like @DFisman & @trishgreenhalgh as overnight experts.

"They engage in personal attacks, have all this certainty and think they can see the future. They're not scientists because uncertainty is the engine of science."
3. TOM JEFFERSON: "The WHO recently said that PCR is the gold standard for detecting if you are infectious. Anybody who works on PCR knows that's nonsense. You can detect a virus with PCR long after the infection is gone."

BBQ RIBS (IN THE OVEN)

1) Get your spice rub together. Here's the ones I used. Regardless, you must make about 1/4 of the volume salt.
2) Here's the rub in a jar, spices shaken together.
3) Put your sauce together. Basically, ketchup with some sweet and some sour. I don't use anything hot, because Europeans don't eat hot.

1. Imagine @sciencecohen, @amymaxmen or @DavidQuammen being forced to do a journalism and write something like this. Being forced to report would likely give each of these #scicomm writers an aneurysm csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2… by @christacbryant
2. @garyruskin: “In 35 years of doing this, I have never personally bumped up against a stonewalling effort as I have from the NIH regarding the origins of COVID-19”

@JsnFostr has found the same and was forced to sue the NIH to comply w/ #FOIA newsweek.com/publics-busine…

My interview w/ @silkiecarlo about British "misinformation" units spying on journalists, politics .. and YOU, then censoring them on #COVID-19 policies. disinformationchronicle.substack.com/p/secretive-br… You're not going to believe this unless you read it and see the Orwellian documents. /1
Members of Parliament have asked these units what they do, and they won't answer. They won't disclose their budgets, staffing, or what they even do.

They are a government within the government.

They have even tracked the "threat" when members of Parliament joined Parler /2
A report was made on British journalist @JuliaHB1 for merely tweeting that one of her listeners had been harmed by COVID lockdowns. So the units aren't tracking "misinformation" they track true information that is critical of government policies. /3

.@HirokoTabuchi has a new investigation into Julie Goodman, a toxicologist w/ the science for hire firm Gradient. nytimes.com/2023/01/29/cli… Goodman is paid by the gas industry to give talks supporting natural gas stoves, playing down the health dangers of natural gas. /1
You may be surprised to learn that Gradient's Goodman helped develop expert court testimony for Philip Morris, portraying Marlboro Lights cigarettes as being safer for smokers. nytimes.com/2023/01/29/cli… Yep. Gradient has worked for tobacco. /2
Last year, I reported on Gradient scientist Julie C. Lemay. Like Goodman, she has gone around the country giving talks to downplay dangers--in this case, Gradient's Lemay downplayed the dangers of artificial turf. disinformationchronicle.substack.com/p/scientists-f… Artificial turf has toxic chemicals /3

Three Cup Chicken: It's called that because the sauce is equal parts rice wine, soy sauce, and sesame oil. (And the chicken has been velveted in egg white and corn starch) /1
Fry broccoli in sesame oil, until somewhat soft.

Continue to add oil as needed throughout cooking process. /2
Add onion & ginger, cook briefly. Then add chicken & garlic. Again, drizzle in sesame oil as needed. /3
