So much wrong with this article: "The doctor asked not to be named because the hospital where they work has not given them permission to speak to the media" and said a specialist would have to do the who could do the "complicated and risky" termination. cnn.com/2023/02/08/hea…
We can't get details because the hospital won't let the doctor speak to the media, but we're supposed to believe that Beth's life was more at risk carrying her pregnancy to term rather than having a "complicated and risky" abortion at 17 or more weeks gestation?
The couple was told there was no chance for the baby to survive long after delivery, but that may not be true. And why an abortion at 21 weeks when a C-section could be done if Beth's health deteriorated? #abortion ban pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17186342/
It's also interesting that the couple did acknowledge that the abortion killed their child and they grieved deeply. They had been prepared to raise a severely disabled child, but the docts convinced them there was no hope for survival and that it would essentially be euthanasia.

Nah, the misinformation comes from the "pro-choice" side. The "abortion pill" is not safe for women, especially without being examined to be sure there is no ectopic pregnancy.
Common pro-abortion "arguments" that come up repeatedly: 1. Don't like #abortion, don't have one 2. Pro-lifers don't care about born people 3. It's just about controlling women 4. How many kids have you adopted? 5. Children in foster care justifies killing some in utero.
Dr. Alan Guttmacher, then Pres of PPFA acknowledged, "Today it is possible for almost any patient to be brought through pregnancy alive, unless she suffers from a fatal illness such as cancer or leukemia, and, if so, abortion would be unlikely to prolong, much less save, life."
Dr. Byron Calhoun, an OB/GYN at CAMC Women's & Children's Hospital specializes in helping women in high-risk pregnancies and confirms that abortion is never medically necessary. (Treatment for ectopic pregnancy is not abortion. Abortion kills a human implanted in the uterus.)
Dr. Anthony Levatino, a former abortionist who performed over 1200 abortions, acknowledges that none of them saved a woman's life. (Sometimes due to pre-eclampsia, early delivery may be necessary even though the fetus likely won't survive).
