1) There are many ways to trade the markets but almost none of them is as profitable as "catalyst trading".
Here's how you can catch insane amount of returns with a really simple strategy 🧵👇
(Tool included at the end!)
2) Catalyst trading is basically trading the markets based on project updates and releases.
I'm not talking about unannounced updates that appear out of nowhere.
I'm talking about clear roadmap updates that are announced plenty in advance.
It's not that difficult either.
3) The entire crypto market history has taught us that big events almost always caused immense price surges.
One of 2021 biggest gainers was $ADA caused by its long awaited smart contracts release.
⏩ This was public information in the projects roadmap including the timing.
4) Another example was the highly anticipated $MLT platform.
Although it was already known that the platform would be released in the final quarter of 2021, the exact date came 1 month prior to release and pumped price 10x.
5) A more recent example was the rebrand and platform release from $VELA.
Back in September 2022 the token was still called $DXP after making an announcement to rebrand and launch a new platform.
During this entire time #VELA's price pumped 100x.
6) News has always been the strongest catalyst to make prices rally to unimaginable heights.
No amount any technical indicator could predict.
⏩ The trick here however is to make an investment plenty of time in advance of the release.
7) While it's near impossible to buy the news on day 1, you will be able to make an investment along the way plenty of time before the final data.
The actual release quite often has an opposite effect unless it keeps a healthy dose of releases coming.
8) Selling very close to the release isn't a bad strategy at all and has always worked wonders for me.
Veteran investors will recognize this strategy and call it the famous "buy the rumour, sell the news" since it's so popular and works really well.
9) How do you find this information plenty of time in advance?
Luckily there's a tool for that!
While scouting crypto twitter or visiting projects roadmap works there's a far more efficient method called @CoinMarketCal.
10) It's a database with all of the upcoming releases and updates from many cryptocurrencies.
You can even filter between what's hot and trending or between specific updates like an exchange listing or product releases.
11) In all my years of trading, everytime I bought something I always asked myself what the upcoming catalyst was.
If there's nothing particularly exciting it usually isn't worth buying even if the project is great on its own.
12) Vice versa, when I discovered a new upcoming large update from a cryptocurrency I did not hold or discover yet I considered buying it.
⏩ You have to be absolutely sure however that you are not buying close to the actual release.
13) Being profits is all about buying and selling before others.
Being first is your advantage. Being well informed is your edge.
