Of that, the top 20 cryptocurrencies make up over $1.02 trillion, or just over 90% of the total. With nearly 23,000 cryptocurrencies in existence today and 100 new ones created each day🤯, it's time to examine the major cryptocurrencies that are actually driving the industry.
A great place to start is CoinMarketCap.com, a data aggregator that tracks all current cryptocurrency information. According to CoinMarketCap, over the past 24 hours, $18 billion of cryptocurrency has been traded, with 90% ($16.8 billion) of that in stablecoins.
