Alpha Todoroki Shoto had finally gotten his hero license. He had been waiting for this moment since that fateful day his first year at UA. It was finally time for him to take on the dreadful villain, and his former friend, the Dragon Dynamight.
(Sorry, will finish my other WIP soon but I just can't get this out of my head!!!!)
One of the reasons they called him the dragon was because he was a completely feral alpha. Barbaric, violent, and explosive. No hero could beat him. And several tried. He slayed so many and permanently maimed Shoto's father, the number one hero, Endeavor.
The second reason? Because he lived in a tower, and defended the qurikless omega he trapped inside all those years ago from any hero who tried to rescue him:

Midoriya Izuku. He was smart, kind, beautiful and one of Shoto's dearest friends.
Shoto failed to save him from the Dragon back then, and he worked tirelessly in school to be the one to rescue him from the alpha now. But, the Dragon wasn't always this way. Bakugo Katsuki once had sense. He once had dreams, goals, a drive to be the best hero ever.
He was strong headed, vulgar, and while he may have had a temper and too much audacity for someone so young, the entire class couldn't help but look up to his strength and admire him. Hell, about three members of the class were in love with him. So how did this happen?!
The more Shoto worked to be strong enough to take him off, the more he wondered if there was a chance he could save him too... If only he knew how.

It all began with a fence. Omegas went to a completely separate schools than alphas and betas. Society had been improving,
but the segregation of their schools was still a strict policy by the government. Only, about halfway through 1st year, Principal Nezu announced the fence between the Omega buildings and the normal campus would be removed.
Something Class A was annoyingly pessimistic about.

"Someone's bound to get in trouble!" Kaminari Denki rolled his eyes. "I mean what are they thinking?! Omegas aren't supposed to re-enter society till their mature enough for a reason!"
"I guess they don't think anyone will pounce because heroes don't typically mate with omegas anyway." Kyoka Jiro pointed out.

"They're lifestyles don't match up. And it would be too risky for the omega involved." Momo elaborated.

"Will you guys cram it?!" Katsuki snapped.
"Who cares about a stupid wall?! Fence or not, it doesn't stop us from what we need to do! If you're so threatened that maybe they'll take your place in this class, you should work harder, damnit!"

"A noble sentiment, with a vile word choice, as always." Iida Tenya sighed.
As soon as the bell rang, Katsuki stormed out of class without a word his friends and classmates as always. Because he was a goddamn hypocrite. He was so fucking excited about the destruction of that damn fence! He walked faster and faster to his destination, until-
he was fucking sprinting to the hidden spot where the fence had hole big enough for an omega to crawl out of. Big enough for his future mate, and childhood friend, Midoriya Izuku, or as he liked to call him, Deku to see him every day after school.
As soon as Katsuki saw that familiar tuft of green crawl out of the hole, he grinned entirely too wide, until he saw the bruises on his pretty face

"Kacchan! Did you hear?!" Izuku beamed at him like absolutely nothing was wrong

"Of course I heard! What the hell happened?!"
"D-don't worry about it!" Izuku giggled before pouncing on his and wrapping his legs around his waist. "Just kiss me!"

He successfully distracted the alpha with his mint white tea scent and lips that tasted like cotton candy but only for a second!
"Deku!" Katsuki seethed. "What happened?!"

"Um... I got into a fight?" Izuku laughed nervously.

"Another one?" Katsuki sulked. Deku did not have the easiest life. He was born quirkless, and he presented omega. Society was completely against his existence.
Katsuki used to be too. Because this quirkless omega was special. He was better than him in every way and it made Katsuki feel inferior. He used to bully him until one day, Izuku saved him from a villain, almost dying in the process. They got in a huge fight about it.
They poured all their feelings out in a screaming match in the rain and after that, things mended between the two. Katsuki ended up leaving him alone for the rest of their third year in Middle School, until he realized he couldn't any more. He found himself watching Izuku.
Everything he said, everything he did, just watching him made him feel something he didn't know how to describe. And then his Mom made a comment that sent him over the edge.

"You know Izuku's an omega!" She teased. "You should have him over like you used to while you can!"
"What do you mean while I can?!" Katsuki snapped.

"Don't you know? After graduation, all omegas go straight to omega campuses where they aren't allowed to interact with alphas or betas till they mature into adults! It's for their own safety!" Mitsuki reminded him.
That news shocked him to his core. He spent the entire evening having an existential crisis. What if he never saw Izuku again?! What if he remembered the way he treated him and grew to hate him? He couldn't have that! So one day after school, he insisted on walking him home.
"Oh you don't really have to do that, K-Kacchan." Izuku blushed at his offer.

"I don't have to, idiot! I want to!" Katsuki snapped.

"WHY?!"

"DOES IT MATTER?!"

"Uh... yes?!" Izuku was obviously confused but Katsuki just grabbed his hand and walked him home.
It was awkward for the first few days and then Katsuki broke the barrier and invited him over.

"Y-your house?!" Izuku blinked.

"What's wrong with that?! You've been there plenty times before!" Katsuki snapped.

"Um.. Kacchan, you know you don't have to pay me back for-"
"THIS ISN'T ABOUT REPAYMENT! I WANNA HANG OUT SO LET'S HANG OUT!" Katsuki barked.

"EEP! Okay!" Izuku jumped, but as Katsuki marched forward, he turned around and saw the sweetest smile one the omega's face. Everything was normal after that.
Katsuki found he actually liked hanging out with Izuku and Izuku was obviously happy about because he couldn't stop his annoying little purrs he tried so hard to hide. He also couldn't hide the sweet aroma of his happy scent. Made Katsuki's entire bedroom smell like Christmas.
When middle school graduation approached, Katsuki was heartbroken. He didn't want him to go. He didn't want to not spend time with him. Izuku had told him he got into UA's omega school, in their business program, but that made him feel worse. He was so close, but so far.
His anger at losing Izuku made him a little shit his first few weeks of school. He made enemies with pretty much everyone or at least he tried to. Until one day, he got a note under his door with a map and familiar All Might stationary.

'Meet me here!!!'
The first time he saw him after weeks apart, he couldn't help himself as picked him up, span him around and kissed him for the very first time.

"K-KACCHAN?!" Izuku blushed furiously.

"What, you idiot?! Did it really take you this long to realize I love you?!"
They had been together ever since. 6 months to this day exactly. Izuku's life hadn't been easy. He thought since he didn't go to a school with alphas or betas anymore, no one would pick on him, but the omegas at UA were actually worse.
Since society deemed them as lesser than, they took their aggression out at someone who was deemed even lower than them. A quirkless nerd who couldn't defend himself. But Izuku wasn't one to be a punching bag. He sent the ones with even the strongest quirks crying to their dams.
He had made one friend at the omega school. A small girl who looked like him named Uraraka. She could make things float and was surprisingly tough. She didn't know about Katsuki, but Katsuki had one acquaintance who knew about Izuku. An asshole who he beat at the sports festival.
He fought him without using his full power and it pissed Katsuki off! But he also felt bad for him. He figured it would do him good to meet someone without any power at all. Someone who deserves to be a hero much more than him but can't. He was right to do so.
Izuku and Todoroki became fast friends and Shoto completely changed as a person and even used his fire after meeting him. Katsuki was glad for him, but he wished he would stop crashing their limited time after school fence dates.
"It's not like I seek them out, Kacchan." Izuku grumbled. "It wasn't anything I couldn't handle!"

"Well when this fence goes down, no one will fucking mess with you at all, you hear?! If they do, they'll be answering straight to me!" Katsuki pointed at himself.
Izuku looked at him gratefully but he also looked nervous.

"What's wrong?"

"Um... do you really think it's fine for us to be public about well..." He blushed before kissing Katsuki on the cheek and holding him close. "...this?"
"We don't have to announce it to everyone. I'd rather keep our business our business, but just you hanging around me and Half and Half should be enough to scare anyone off!"

"Y-you're right." Izuku teared up. "I really can't believe they're doing this."
"I'm glad they are. It means I don't have to risk expulsion just do this!" Katsuki tackled him to the ground and stuck his tongue down his throat and they made out until the hour was up and Izuku had to crawl back under that cursed fence.
Katsuki couldn’t wait until it was gone for good. A wish that he would soon later regret more than anything…

“Look whose back! At exactly 4:00 on the dot!” Mina whispered to Kaminari as Katsuki stormed into Heights Alliance.

“I wonder what he gets up to…”
“Hey man!” Eijiro greeted him at the door. “Wanna play some games with us?!”

“He has band practice now, actually!” Jiro seethed.

“They’re so shameless!” Mina fumed. “Bakugo obviously isn’t looking at them!”

“He’s not looking at you either.” Denki snickered.
“You really think he thinks you’re attractive, ‘Dunce Face’?!” Mina quoted.

“Hey! That’s only when I used my quirk! At least he’s my actual friend unlike you who ha can’t even stand to be around without crinkling his nose at your empowering alpha scent!” Denki snapped.
“Just because you’re too weak to handle a strong female alpha doesn’t mean he is! I heard his mom’s one which means I have an advantage!”

“He hates his mom!” Denki pointed out.

“He just says he does!”

“Come on Bakugo, YaoMomo’s waiting.” Jiro smiled.

“Uh, wait for me!”
Denki raised his hand.

“We don’t need you today!” Jiro snapped.

“Bakugo, do you even want to have band practice without the guitar? Come play some games instead.” Eijiro grumbled.

So the four way standoff continued.
“I’m going to do my homework losers! Didn’t you forget that essay is due tomorrow?! What’s your problem?! Ants eat your brains?!” Katsuki snapped before storming into the elevator, causing everyone to swoon.

“I forgot about that essay.” Denki sighed.

“He’s so considerate.”
Eijiro smiled. “Reminding us in his own way!”

“I wonder if he would eat my brain.” Mina blushed.

“You guys are doing too much!” Jiro grumbled as she headed toward the elevator.

“As if you’re not heading to his room right now to ask for tips on the essay?!” Denki snapped.
“What?! He’s smart!” Her face turned red.

“So is Iida! YaoMomo is number one! Go ask her!” Mina stomped her foot.

“You guys are just mad you didn’t think of it first!” Jiro yelled causing all four to devolve into another weekly screaming match over the rights to Katsuki.
“Will you guys cut it out? Jeez.” Sero rubbed his head as he left the kitchen. “For all you know, once that fence comes down he’s going to pounce on the first omega he sees like almost all the alphas are!”

“N-no they aren’t!” Jiro paled.
“As an alpha, I can say yeah a lot of them are, but Bakugo?! Come on! He needs someone who can keep up with him! And none of those omegas are able to do that!” Kirishima laughed.

“I even heard there’s a quirkless one over there.” Denki giggled.

“NO WAY!” Mina gasped.
“I thought they went extinct!”

“Word is, he’s one of the business course students!” Denki grinned. “I kinda wanna see him for myself, you know? What kinda guy gets into UA quirkless?!”

“Poor thing probably needs a body guard wherever he goes.” Jiro grimaced.
“I just hope those omegas stay out of our way. All they’re gonna do is distract the alphas! Not me cause I got my eye on the prize.” Eijiro smirked. “But once everyone’s grades start slipping, and pups start popping out, they’ll definitely put the fences back up!”
“Don’t you think Bakugo would make cutest pups, though?” Mina giggled.

“Not with you!” Denki gagged causing her to squirt acid on the ends of his hair. “AAAAH! What was that for?!”

“You deserve that!” Mina snapped.

“I think he would actually…” Jiro blushed.
“I think Bakugo and I would make some pretty rockin’ kids!”

Thus caused another screaming match that made sure Sero’s headache would last for days.

Izuku was overwhelmed by all the new scents when the fences were finally removed. UA began integrating certain classes-
which made him so excited to see how future heroes worked up close. He was nervous that this would mean a new group of people would look down on him but the alpha and beta business course students were very friendly and welcoming!
They appreciated his insight into quirks and heroes and even asked him for help on their notes. Izuku had a wonderful first day with the fence down and his chest was bubbling with excitement about seeing Kacchan after class without needing to dirty his knees!
Everything was going great until the bell rang and everyone began socializing.

“Is it me… or is there a crowd forming?” Ochaco looked at the window.

“That’s weird.” One of the alpha business course student scrunched their nose. “Other classes have omegas. Why are they here?”
Izuku felt his stomach twist at all the faces gathering outside. What was the big idea? They were looking through the window like they were at a zoo!

“Hey, what are you guys-” The business alpha opened the door.

“IS IT TRUE YOU HAVE SOMEONE QUIRKLESS HERE?!”
One of the support course betas asked excitedly.

“Let me see!”

“I wanna see!”

“Is he real?!”

“No way! No way he’s real!”

Izuku felt himself shake all over with nerves.
“Hey! Go away!” Ochaco stood in front of Izuku. “We’re just trying to learn like everyone else!”

“She stepped in front of the green haired kid!”

“Look! She’s protecting him!”

“Awwww! He’s scared!”

“How cute!”

“He’s so pretty! Are those freckles?!”

“BACK THE FUCK UP!”
Kacchan detonated an explosion in his hands while Shoto froze the ground, making everyone scream.

“Are you all fucking inhumane?! These are people not zoo animals! You shitty inbreds! Get the fuck away from the door!” Katsuki demanded as Shoto melted the ice.
Everyone dissipated, grumbling to themselves except for Mina and Kaminari.

“I expected better from you, Dunce Face!” Katsuki snapped as him and Shoto stormed in the classroom.

“Did you hear that?” He whispered to Mina. “He only expected better from me!”
“Oh! Bakugo and Todoroki from Class A, right?” The business course alpha bowed. “Thanks for your help!”

“Whatever.” Katsuki said before rushing to Izuku’s side who was visibly shaken. “I got it from here, Round Face.” He addressed Uraraka.

“…Round?”

“Are you alright?”
Shoto whispered to Izuku.

“Um… yeah.” Izuku faked a smile as he tried to fight back his tears. He had such a good day until now. He shouldn’t cry but he was so embarrassed. He didn’t know why he thought things would be different somehow.
“Looks like Midoriya’s causing trouble yet again.” An omega whispered.

“At least he brought eye candy..”

“Midoriya!” A beta girl from the business course ran up to him and grabbed his hands. “It was so nice to meet you! You really helped me out today!”
Izuku could tell from her voice she was sincere and she didn’t feel an ounce of pity. He swallowed the lump in his throat and smiled at her. “It was nice to meet you too!”

“Come on. Let’s get dinner.” Katsuki and Shoto put their hands on his back and escorted him out.

“Izuku.” Katsuki nuzzled his boyfriend’s neck. He was so happy he could have him all to himself in his room. Technically he wasn’t supposed to. Omegas weren’t allowed in alpha dorms and Vice versa but they were allowed in the common areas which made sneaking around easy.
It had been a week since the fence fell and while Katsuki enjoyed his time with Izuku after school, it seemed every day weighed on the omega more and more. At least they had the weekend to recharge.

“Tell me what’s wrong.” He nibbled on his scent glad without using his teeth.
“I’m…” Izuku’s lip trembled. “Tired…”

“Rough week?” Katsuki questioned.

“More like a rough life I guess… every day I keep pushing forward, hoping things will get easier… I was so excited about the fence coming down and my new classes are great! I’ve made more friends!”
“But…” He sniffled.

“Hey.. it’s okay.” Katsuki kissed him. “You can tell me anything, you know that.”

“I just want people to like me! And every time someone new likes me.. I find three more people who hate me just for existing! It’s… hard!” He cried.
“Anyone who hates you is an idiot… I’m sorry I tried to at one point. I didn’t make your life easy either.” Katsuki sighed. “But I’m trying to make it as easy as possible now! So just tell me how and I’ll do it!”

“You already do by giving me something to look forward to…”
Izuku sobbed. “You make it as easy as you can but you can’t make all the stares stop. You can’t stop the way everyone stops talking the second I walk in the room. You can’t stop people from hating me… I just wish everyone was a little nicer…”
“Because I try and smile through it but it just hurts! What am I doing wrong?!”

“Nothing!” Katsuki wiped his tears. “There’s nothing wrong about you at all.” He kissed him. “People don’t hate you. They underestimate you. But you’re gonna outshine everyone here!”
“Make them ever regret thinking a negative thing about you!”

Izuku looked in Kacchan’s eyes and believed him. “I wish I could see myself the way you do.” He smiled.

“If you did, you would get yourself off right now.”

“K-Kacchan!” Izuku blushed.

“What?! You’re hot shit!”
Izuku laughed and felt immensely better. He was so happy he got to share a school with Kacchan. Having him so close was comforting beyond belief. As embarrassed as he felt needing his protection, he appreciated it. Kacchan kept him safe and sane. He gave him hope that maybe…
Just maybe things would be a little easier.

“Ugh, I’m so sick of these omegas!” Ashido sneezed. “I think I’m allergic! I don’t know how other alphas are so into them! They’re so weak!”

“You’re just jealous!” Denki laughed.
“What’s there to be jealous of?” Jiro pointed out. “I wouldn’t want their life for any reason. To be objectified like that, especially the quirkless one!”

The room went quiet at the subject of Izuku.

“Bakugo seems to spend a lot of time with him…”

“Todoroki too…”
“Th-that’s because they’re so manly!” Eijiro grinned. “It makes fall a little more in love with Bakugo, you know? That he would take so much time to protect that little guy!”

“He really is great.” Jiro smiled.

“That’s all it is, right?” Denki asked nervously.
“Of course.” Mina pouted. “It’s gonna take more than the helpless act to seduce Bakugo!”

“KACCHAN!” Izuku beamed after class on Monday. Katsuki was shocked at the complete change in his mood. He was practically sunshine itself. “You’ll never guess who stopped by class?!”
“Huh? A pro hero come by or something?” Katsuki smirked, but his heart swelled at the buzzing excitement from Izuku as he nodded his head furiously. It had been awhile since he’d seen him like this.

“Kamui Woods showed up to help us with an exercise! In person!”
“I got to ask him so many questions and he answered every single one! And guess what, Kacchan?! He didn’t seem annoyed at all! He really took his time and appreciated what I had to say and he signed so many of my things and Kacchan look! He gave me a pin!”
Katsuki had to resist kissing him right there in the hallway, he was so precious when he nerded out like this. It had been so long, he couldn’t believe he ever used to get annoyed by it.

“And that’s when Tatsu’s-Sensei played his documentary and he stayed the whole time!”
Every day that week was like that. Something new and exciting happened to keep Izuku’s spirits where they deserved to be. On cloud fucking nine. Katsuki was happy he had such a cute amazing omega as his boyfriend. He was proud. But he didn’t want any targets on his back.
So it was best they kept their relationship low key as they could. Which was hard. Especially since Izuku and the business course students were observing Class A that afternoon. Katsuki had one goal. Look cool as fuck in front of his boyfriend and don’t get distracted.
Which Izuku made really difficult with those excited green eyes, and adorable mannerisms. Damnit, he was so cute! Katsuki had to try not to look or listen to anything he said or he would burst and carry him away. Composure. He could keep it. He had to…
TBC when I wake up ✏️📓
“Oh my gosh, look at them…” Mina grumbled at the omegas in the business course filing in to watch their training today.

“They’re tiny. Look how excited they are. It’s kinda cute.” Jiro giggled.

“Anyone would be excited watching us!”
Eijiro grinned. “We’re the hero course afterall!”

Aizawa-Sensei explained that today’s exercise was to just keep working on their quirk while the business course students to observe.

“Treat them like you would any civilian out in the real world. Mind your surroundings!”
“Does that mean they’re actually going to come into the field instead of just sitting in the stands? That’s so dangerous!” Mina shivered. “I feel like I’m going to trip over an omega, they’re so tiny.”

“Come on, let’s just practice Ashido!”
Mina tried to focus on practicing without using her acid. Afterall, she didn’t want to hit anyone by accident so she just worked on dodging Aoyama’s lasers mid-air instead. She couldn’t help but be annoyed by all the tiny people on the field and the way the alphas looked at them.
Especially that quirkless one. She couldn’t help but notice how every time Bakugo did something cool, he stopped and looked back to see what the little guy was doing. Sometimes he would catch him staring at him and they way he smiled pissed Mina off. She bet the omega had-
a crush on Bakugo. It was bad enough Mina had to compete with Jiro, Kaminari and Kirishima, but throw omegas in there?!

Izuku jotted everything down excitedly. Class A was filled with so many amazing heroes, all who could easily be marketed.
“So, tell me…” Ochaco whispered in Izuku’s ear, startling him.

“Ah! Uraraka-San! You scared me!” Izuku laughed nervously.

“Which ones courting you? Bakugo? Or Todoroki?”

“Um…” Izuku blushed. He still hadn’t told her about Kacchan and he felt bad.
“I’ve actually been seeing Kacchan for awhile.” He whispered. “Since before the fence came down.”

“No way!” She giggled excitedly. “You have to tell me everything!”

“Now’s not really the time!” Izuku scolded her as she looked Bakugo’s way and smirked.
“I’m just gonna go observe him, don’t mind me!” Ochaco floated Kacchan’s way, making Izuku silently fume. He hoped she didn’t say anything to embarrass him.

“Look at them! Ugh!” Mina crossed her arms after taking a break. “They’re using this time to scope out alphas! Gross!”
“Maybe you should use this time to practice!” Jiro handed her a bottle of water. “Don’t worry about them, they’re keeping their distance from everyone.”

“The brow haired one was giggling with while looking at Bakugo, I saw it. And look, all the omegas are eye fucking him!”
At one point, all the omegas gathered in one area to discuss what they learned except Uraraka who would rather get a closer look.

“Definitely the one to watch if Bakugo. Despite his personality, he’s got the strength, talent and looks to be a very popular hero!”
One of them noted.

“It’s more than just talent and looks, he’s also very mindful of his surroundings!” Izuku couldn’t help but praise. “Despite having a destructive quirk, he’s kept all damage in this area to a minimum, so much so that Uraraka can get that close-”
“without having to worry about rubble or blowback!”

“Oh… you’re right about that Midoriya.” One of them nodded their head. “A lot of them in this class can work on that! I almost got hit a couple of times when I was watching Sato!”

“Kirishima is good at too, right?”
“That’s cause Kirishima is a piece of rubble.” One of them laughed.

Mina watched as they all whispered to each other and Bakugo once again glanced at Midoriya. Stupid alpha protective brain. No way he was into him!

“Aoyama! Come at me while face my acid!”
Ochaco couldn’t help but turn her attention to Ashido. While Bakugo was amazing and she couldn’t get enough of the firework show, the pink haired hero was finally using her quirk and she wanted to see how she used it. She sat on a nearby rock and jotted down the way she moved.
But she couldn’t help but notice the hero to be was a little distracted by the group of omegas huddled by the stands. Was she angry about their presence?

“Hey! Round Face! Do you wanna die?!” Katsuki approached her.

“Huh?!” Ochaco looked his direction.
“Watch where you’re fucking sitting!” He grabbed her by the arm and yanked her away just in time before Sato flew over the rock and slammed into the wall after being punched one too many times by Shoji.

“Woah! You saved me! Thanks!”

“DID YA NOT HEAR, SENSEI, IDIOTS?!”
Katsuki scolded the boys. “Ya almost whammed her!”

“Sorry!” They both went to apologize to her and she put her hands up.

“N-no it’s my fault! I should go rejoin everyone!” Ochaco giggled nervously before running toward the group.

“TAKE THAT!”
She watched as Ashido launched her acid but missed Aoyama and instead carved a large piece of rubble out of the top of the stands that began to fall straight toward the omegas.

Ochaco gasped in horror as she saw everyone use their quirks to get out of the way. Everyone except..
“DEKU-KUN!” She shouted as she tried run in time to save him. Could she stop the rubble without being crushed herself?! She didn’t have time to figure that out before explosions flew past her and Bakugo barely saved him in time.
“Stop! Bakugo! Midoriya! Are you alright?!” Aizawa blew his whistle and everyone gathered around them.

Izuku blinked his eyes open and tried to catch his breath as Katsuki held him against his chest in the hole he made in the wall. One moment he was discussing heroes, the next..
“WHO THE FUCK DID THAT?!” Katsuki raged as he picked Izuku up and walked toward his classmates. “NONE OF YOU IDIOTS ARE PAYING ATTENTION! HE COULD HAVE DIED!”

Mina refused to fess up… it’s not like she did it on purpose! It was an accident!
“Bakugo, let’s calm down and make sure Midoriya’s okay first! We can find the student who is responsible later!”

“I saw! It was Ashido!” Ochaco cried. “She missed Aoyama and hit the roof and-” she looked helplessly at her classmates. “WHY DIDN’T ANY OF YOU HELP HIM?!”
“You all saved yourselves but you know he’s not able to do that!” She fumed.

Izuku felt his face heat up as everyone argued and fretted over him. The teachers tried to calm everyone down but he just felt so embarrassed. He didn’t want to cry. He didn’t want to cry…
“I’m taking him to recovery girl! All of you, out of my way!” Katsuki stormed outside and as soon as they were away from everyone, Izuku burst into tears.

“Hey! You alright? It’s fine… it’s fine, look at me.” Katsuki sat down in the hallway and cradled him gently.
“It’s always something…” Izuku sobbed. “Why can’t I just be normal?”

“Izuku, none of this is your fault! I don’t know which idiot made the rubble fall but damnit I’ll kill them!” Katsuki seethed.

“I don’t want you to kill anyone! Kacchan has to be a hero…”
“And it’s clear I’ll just get in your way!” Izuku trembled.

“Hey!” Katsuki grabbed his face and kissed him. “Don’t you say that.” He growled.

“It’s true! I’m in everyone’s way! Maybe it would have been better if the rubble crushed me and got it over with!”

“Deku!”
Izuku crawled out of his arms and dusted himself off. “Thank you for saving me… but I don’t need to go to the nurse. I’ll be fine. I just need a nap.”

“You listen here!” Katsuki grabbed his arm and spun him him around. “This?!”
He pulled Izuku’s notebook out of his back pocket. “Is gonna save the damn world some day! Why do you think I saved it too, huh?! Look!” He opened the pages and flipped through them. “I bet every one of those idiots who didn’t save you had notes that weren’t nearly as detailed!”
“When Aizawa looks through these, you’re gonna save my classmates asses from the tips he gives. Things he would never notice that you probably did! Like this!” He stopped at a page. “Kaminari’s electricity possibly being used for medical purposes?!”
“No one but you would think of that nerd, especially him!” Katsuki pinched his nose. “You’re already a great hero, Izuku. And every damn one of them are gonna pale in comparison to the great heroes you help make with that kind of yours!”

Izuku stared at him in awe.
He hated how Kacchan had the ability to make him believe every word he said. What happened in class was just an accident… he had to keep moving forward.

“I’m sorry I said that about the rubble…. It was stupid.” He blushed. Katsuki grabbed his face and kissed his pretty smile.
He could save his boiling rage for later, right now, he just wanted to savor his very much alive boyfriend who was this close to being squashed like a bug. He realized there might have actually been two people he saved. If he didn’t save Izuku, Uraraka would have tried.
And that could have ended in disaster. Her quirk could make things float but he didn’t know how soon after she touched it, would she be able to stop it.

“Bakugo, Aizawa wanted me to… oh.” Kirishima froze. “Uh.. c-congrats?”

“Mind your business!” Katsuki snapped.
“Sorry… uh, glad you’re okay Midoriya?!” Kirishima ran away.

“I-is that gonna be a problem?” Izuku whispered to Katsuki.

“I don’t care any more, Izuku.” Katsuki kissed him again, shoving him against the wall. “Let everyone know, no one will mess with you again!”
Izuku was shocked to find Kacchan was right. Word spread fast that the two were dating. It completely overshadowed Izuku’s brush with death. The entire week, everyone treated Izuku a little differently. Suddenly the omegas who used to bully him were bombarding him-
with questions about his boyfriend. The ones who didn’t save him showered him with apologies all week and whole there was a lot of disingenuous people, there was also a lot of sincere ones. Izuku was happy because he could walk with Kacchan hand in hand. He could eat with him.
And he could occasionally steal kisses in the hallways. While it was generally frowned upon for heroes to mate with omegas, everyone at UA seemed to be supportive.

“Look! It’s Midoriya and Bakugo!”

“They’re so cute!”

“I want what they have!”

“Find me an omega like that!”
Before Izuku knew it, all those nervous feelings washed away. A couple of months passed and he was fitting in at school, he was having friends, he had an amazing boyfriend and he finally felt… normal.

“Oh come on! Be mature!” Jiro rolled her eyes as Kaminari threw-
a dart at Izuku’s picture hanging on his wall.

“It’s not fair! Why does he get to have him all to himself?! All because Ashido was stupid?!”

“That wasn’t my fault!” Ashido threw her own dart at Kaminari, “It was an accident!”
“I gave them a well but it’s already been a month…” Eijiro threw his dart at Izuku’s picture and missed. “Shouldn’t we, I don’t know, do something?”

“Like what?” Jiro questioned.

“Convince Bakugo it’s a bad idea, you know? Make them break up!”
“You lost me at ‘convince Bakugo’” Kaminari rolled his eyes.

“Yeah good luck with that.” Mina threw a dart and hit Izuku right on the forehead. “Wait… maybe we don’t have to! Maybe we can convince Midoriya!”

“Isn’t that low hanging fruit?” Kirishima grimaced.
“It would look bad if a bunch of hero course students went and bullied a quirkless omega into dumping his alpha. Plus, I would feel pretty bad about it.”

“Yeah, guys… we should just move on…” Jiro sighed. “As much as I love him, Bakugo is clearly happy.”
“You obviously don’t love him as much as I do!” Mina fumed.

“Or me! I’m not giving up!” Denki whined. “They’ll break up! They have to!”

Izuku felt excited as he looked over the ocean in the abandoned lighthouse Kacchan snuck him to.

“Wow! How’d you find this?!”
“For my internship with Jeanist, we had to find an old prison escapee who camouflaged the whole thing with their quirk.” Katsuki explained. “So for years no one knew this was here! But they made this place pretty homey if you ask me.”

“It’s really cozy!” Izuku smiled.
“Yeah, we got the villain but they left all their shit behind and no one seemed to care about getting it back!” Katsuki smirked. “So now if ya want… if you ever just wanna escape, we can come here.” He kissed him. “Just you and I. Or just you if ya need alone time.”
“Thank you for sharing this place with me.” Izuku wrapped his arms around him. “There’s something about it that makes me feel safe. Maybe it’s your scent. You’ve been here a lot, huh?”

“Guilty as charged.” Katsuki smirked. “I fixed it up a bit. Made it my own personal hideout”
Izuku was thrilled by this little date. Kacchan had obviously spent a lot of time preparing the place for it, even surrounding the room with romantic twinkle lights. After eating their meal and cleaning their plates in the full kitchen on the floor below, they-
cuddled in the cozy nest Kacchan had created.

“Did you really prepare all this for me?” Izuku blushed.

“I’ll tell you this. It doesn’t feel like a hideout when you’re here. It feels like home.” Katsuki whispered before kissing him.
Izuku chirped and purred while Kacchan scented him and kissed him and made him feel so amazing and special. He didn’t know how he got so lucky.

“I love you…” Izuku whispered.

“Right back at you nerd.” Kacchan crawled over him and stuck his tongue inside his mouth,
causing him to whimper.

“You alright?” Katsuki asked him.

“Kacchan.. tastes good.” Izuku said hazily.

“Yeah?” Katsuki made out with him and ran his hand under his shirt. “Do I feel good too?”

“Mmhmm…” Izuku nodded desperately.

“Fuck, you’re so hot like this…”
Katsuki couldn’t help himself as he ground against him causing Izuku to let out the most hushed little moan.

“There’s no reason for you to hide how you feel, baby. We’re alone.” Katsuki crooned. “Don’t be embarrassed. We’re completely and utterly-”
before he could finish, both the alarms went off on their phones, indicating they had to get back to UA before curfew ended.

“Damnit!” He cursed.

“W-we can still cuddle in your dorm room, right?” Izuku blushed.

“Yeah.” Katsuki teased before kissing his neck. “Cuddle…”

Jiro looked sadly at her phone at pictures of A-band. She grew really close with Bakugo during band practice and while she didn’t let the others see, she was totally heartbroken about the whole thing. Bakugo was special to her and she thought maybe they stood a chance.
But of course someone like him had a heart big enough to love a quirkless omega. Was it love? She wondered if maybe Midoriya just seduced him and stroked his ego with his whole hero complex and all. If that’s the case, it wasn’t fair. He had his scent and-
his omega pheromones and cute looks working for him while all Jiro had was her strong friendship with Bakugo. She wished she pretty enough or good enough for him. But she was just a beta.. she had no way to seduce him like Midoriya did.
She didn’t want to throw darts at his face or anything. She just wanted a chance with Bakugo and that was hard when she wasn’t a cute pretty Omega who needed his protection. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of an explosion outside.

“Shh! Kacchan.. you’re too loud!”
Izuku whispered frantically. He wasn’t that loud. Jiro could only here it because of her quirk. She peaked out the window and found Bakugo sneaking Midoriya into his balcony door.

“Idiot.” She grumbled. She should leave it alone. She shouldn’t wonder what they were doing.
Afterall Bakugo wouldn’t be the type to hookup in a dorm room where anyone can hear… right? Before she could stop herself she went into the elevator and pushed Bakugo’s floor.

“I can’t get enough of you, Izuku.” Katsuki whispered as he kissed him all over in his bed.
“Mmm.. Kacchan..” Izuku melted at his touch. He should stop this and go home. They had made out plenty of times before but nothing as intense as this. With Kacchan rubbing himself against him and Izuku feeling clearly just how much he wanted him. He should stop it.
But the more Kacchan kissed him, touched him, scented him, the more he didn’t want it to stop.

“What’s this, huh?” Katsuki ran hand up Izuku’s leg, collecting a trail of slick that spilled out of his shorts.

“Aah… how embarrassing!” Izuku blushed.
“Nothing embarrassing about it.” Katsuki licked his fingers and savored the taste. “Fuck… fuck I want to taste more of you.”

“H-here? N-now?” Izuku trembled.

“Only if you want me to…” Katsuki sucked on Izuku’s and neck. “And I could tell you want me to…”
“Mmm..” Izuku whined before nodding his head as Katsuki slipped off his shorts.

“I need you to promise me one thing before I do this.” Katsuki said as he squeezed his hand. “If ya want me to stop. Tell me to stop!”
“Okay…” Izuku said shakily. He couldn’t believe what he just agreed to as Kacchan grabbed his underwear. Whatever happened next didn’t matter. All that mattered was that Kacchan was his.

Jiro sobbed in her bed the entire next day. She couldn’t believe what she heard.
It was her own fault for listening with her stupid quirk. But she couldn’t get it out of her head. The sounds of slurping and moaning and groaning and ugh, and the slutty way Midoriya said that stupid nickname made her want to throw up. She hated him. She hated him so much.
Maybe Kaminari was right. They had to find a way to break them up. It was the best thing for Bakugo! He shouldn’t be distracted and have his future ruined by that…that whore!

She gathered everyone in Kaminari’s room later that evening.
“What’s up?” Mina looked around nervously after seeing her swollen cheeks and puffy eyes.

“Who died?!” Kirishima blinked.

“Midoriya… seduced Bakugo into bed with him last night and made him do gross things with him! I heard everything!”
“No way…” Denki’s face fell.

“We have to break them up! For Bakugo!” Jiro demanded. “I have an idea! I didn’t want to use it but… but this is best thing!”

“Use what?!” Mina questioned.

“My uncle… he’s kind of shade but… but last year,”
“My cousin had a problem with an omega who kept making fun of him for being a beta. So my uncle did something that he said scared him straight. He said it’s easy in his line of work to scare omegas. That omega apologized to my cousin after and never bothered him again!”
“What’s his line of work?” Kirishima asked nervously. “Nothing illegal right? He won’t hurt him?”

“Of course not! That omega was totally unharmed according to my cousin! He just needs to give him a little scare!” Jiro nodded. “And this way! None of us get in trouble!”
“I’m in.” Mina stood up.

“Me too.” Kaminari smiled. “Let’s save Bakugo!”

“C-can you just tell me what he does for work? You never answered that part.” Kirishima swallows the lump in his throat.

“Contracting! I think.. it doesn’t matter!”
“Alright then… let’s do this.” Eijiro sighed.

The bell rang for the last to get out but Izuku was excitedly babbling to his classmates about the latest update to hero tech and everyone was too enthralled to leave.

“I’m shocked that’s legal!”
One of his classmates said.

“I know but in the right hands, it can make anyone a hero!” Izuku beamed. “I heard the support course is going to get a demonstration on it!”

“I really don’t like weapons.” Ochaco mumbled. “There’s just so much that could go wrong.”
“Especially guns!”

“But the best thing about this gun is it’s non lethal! It’s just meant to destabilize!” Izuku informed her.

“I wonder what heroes could use something like that…” One of the students mused.

“Hey uh.. you guys still in class?” Mina walked in.
“No! We were just discussing hero tech!” A student informed her.

“Oh wow.. interesting.. Midoriya, can I talk to you?” Mina asked him.

“Oh, sure!” Izuku followed her out nervously. He was surprised to see Kirishima, Jiro and Kaminari waiting the hall for them.
“Hey Midoriya!” Kirishima greeted.

“H-hello!” Izuku blushed.

“Don’t be so nervous, man. We just wanna tell you about our plan!” Ei smiled at him.

“Your plan?” Izuku blinked.

“Your with Bakugo, right?” Kaminari questioned.

“Um… yeah.” Izuku blinked.
“Well we’re throwing him a little surprise party! We rented out a whole Karaoke room for him.” Mina grinned.

“We actually rented out the whole building.” Jiro informed him. “He won’t have a good time without you there so you should come!” She handed him an invitation.
“Oh… um… I’d love to but… Kacchan doesn’t like surprises.” Izuku informed them. “What’s this for? It’s not his birthday yet.”

“It’s his un-birthday!” Kaminari gave him a thumbs up. “He never told us when it was so we’re celebrating it anyway!”

“Plus!”
Kirishima threw his arm around him. “It would be a great for us to finally get to know you! Come on! It won’t be a party without you!”

“O-okay!” Izuku agreed nervously. He had never been invited to a party before and with hero course students?
He was excited. The party itself was a dumb idea as Kacchan would be sure to hate it but he probably would have been dragged there anyway so at least Izuku could make it a little more special.

“Just don’t tell Bakugo about it okay? We’ll get him there ourselves!”
“A-and don’t bring anyone! It’s totally exclusive!” Denki insisted.

“Alright… um, thank you for inviting me!”

“Of course! We can’t wait to hang out with you officially, man!” Ejiro squeezed his shoulder.

“Deku-kun?” Ochaco approached from the hall. “Everything okay?”
She had a bad feeling that she couldn’t shake.

“Everything’s fine! I should get going now. Bye you guys!” Izuku waved them off.

“See ya Midoriya!” Mina waved.

“Well that was easy.” Jiro sighed. Guess we better prepare for Bakugo’s bad mood when he dumps him after this weekend.
“What was they about?” Ochaco asked Izuku as they walked back to the omega dorms.

“Just some of Kacchan’s friends inviting me to a party for him. It’s supposed to a surprise so I can’t tell him and-”

“Deku-kun.” Ochaco stopped and grabbed his wrist. “I don’t trust them.”
“Why not?” Izuku asked, confused. “They’re hero students.”

“Ashido tried to kill you, remember?!” Ochaco fumed.

“That was an accident!” Izuku laughed nervously.

“I saw the look on her face! I don’t think it was!” Ochaco crossed her arms.
“Tell Bakugo! Or let me at least come with you!” Ochaco begged.

“Tell Bakugo what?!” Katsuki’s voice startled them.

“Uh.. um..” Izuku nervously tried to come up with a lie before Ochaco snatched the invitation out of his hand and gave it to him.
“Uraraka!” Izuku snapped.

“Your friends invited Deku-kun to a party off campus and told him not to tell you! I think it’s fishy!” She informed Katsuki.

“What the hell?! This place closed down!” Katsuki blinked. “Last year!

“See?! Something’s not right!”
“Why would they lie about that?!” Izuku rubbed his head in confusion.

“Only one way to find out!” Katsuki growled. “The night of this supposed party, I’ll show up and rip them all a new one! I bet they think they can interrogate you or some shit, not on my watch!”
“Why would they invite me to karaoke room to interrogate me?” Izuku blinked.

“Don’t you worry about it.” Katsuki sighed as he pat his head. “I’m sorry about those idiots! But when I’m done with em they won’t bother you with this stupid shit again!”

CW: THIS IS WHERE THE DARKNESS COMES IN. VERY FUCKED UP SHIT AHEAD.
The week flew by and Izuku was nervous. He secretly hoped Uraraka and Kacchan were worried about nothing. That Kacchan’s friends would make up some excuse to him why he also needed to be at the karaoke room indicating a surprise party was indeed, taking place.
But, it was the day of the party and no one said anything to Kacchan about keeping his plans free. No one asked him to hang out as a potential distraction and as much as Izuku wanted it to not be true, it seemed Kacchan’s friends really did just want to interrogate him…
“Hey.” Kacchan kissed him and suckled on his scent gland. “I’m sorry those assholes tried to lure you into something but I’ll make sure they see how great you are, alright?”

“What if it really is a party and I ruined everything and they hate me…” Izuku moped.
“Then you can blame Round Face.” Katsuki bit his cheek. “Or me. But I’m sorry to tell there’s definitely no party.” He sighed.

“Right, because who would actually want me at one?” Izuku laughed to himself.

“Hey…” Katsuki moved his hair out of his face.
“If this really is some dumb party, I’ll storm back here and bring you immediately. Because any party without you would be lame as hell.” Katsuki kissed him and Izuku chirped in happiness. Kacchan really was the best boyfriend. He didn’t deserve him.
“Or maybe we both skip it.” Izuku blushed. “You stay here and keep me warm instead!”

“Don’t you tempt me!” Katsuki tackled him and swarmed him with kisses making him shreik and laugh in glee until the omega’s phone buzzed.

“Oh.. it’s Kirishima-kun.”
Izuku opened the text and frowned.

“Let me see that!” Katsuki snatched his phone and growled while reading it.

Kirishima 🪨
‘Hey man, you’re still coming tonight right? We all can’t wait to get to know you!’

Katsuki furiously typed back.

‘Yup! It should be a great surprise!’
“Oh I can’t wait to get my hands around their nosy fucking necks!” Katsuki seethed.

“Not today, Kacchan.” Izuku tackled him and kissed him passionately. “I can’t marry a villain.”

“Ya can if you want.” Katsuki said darkly.

“I’m more into heroes. Great future number one heroes”
Izuku teased.

“You’re saying your love has limits?” Katsuki put his hand under his shirt, stroking his bare back, sending chills down his spine.

“I-I said I couldn’t marry you, not I that I couldn’t love you.” Izuku giggled. “Nothing could stop me from loving Kacchan.”
“Good.” Katsuki grinned before shoving his tongue in his mouth. “Then choking them it is.”

“Kacchan!” Izuku laughed before Katsuki switched their positions and ravaged and abused his little mouth.

When they took a break to breathe, Katsuki stared into his eyes and smiled.
“But marrying does sound good. You, that is.” He grumbled.

“Are you proposing?” Izuku teased him.

“You proposed first!” Katsuki barked.

“Ask again when we’re older, and you get down on your knees with the first edition All Might Victory Ring from his Silver Age.”
“You’re one spoiled rotten omega.” Katsuki growled.

“You only have yourself to blame for that!” Izuku caressed his face. “Kacchan only gets me the best.”

“You’re right.” Katsuki pinned his wrists about his head. “Cause that’s what you deserve.”

“Kacchan…” Izuku’s eyes shined.
“I know I can be down on myself, but I feel don’t thank you enough because..” He teared up, “When you say things like that, I actually believe it.”

“Like what? Like you’re the best fucking human ever and everyone who doesn’t see it is human trash?!”

“Something like that!”
Izuku smiled and Kacchan kissed him so tenderly, he wanted to stay under him like that forever.

“Shit… what time is it?” Katsuki sat up and looked at his clock. “Guess it’s time to teach these ducks a lesson.”

“I’ll wait here for you.” Izuku grabbed his hand.
“Good cause when I’m done with them, I’ll need to blow off steam.” Katsuki licked his lips suggestively.

“I’m kinda scared.” Izuku laughed nervously.

“No. You’re excited you little perv!” Katsuki teased.

“Go! You’re gonna be late!” Izuku blushed furiously.
“Alright alright! Love ya, nerd.” Katsuki smirked before he walked out the door

“Love you too, Kacchan.” Izuku smiled softly. As soon as Kacchan closed the door, Izuku felt the hair on his arms stand up. He had chills all over and he couldn’t explain why.
What was this sinking feeling in his gut?

Katsuki got to the closed down karaoke building and had made a mental checklist of things to yell at his friends about. What were they thinking inviting someone quirkless here so late at night?!
The invitation had a code to unlock the chain to get in the building. Why would they choose here of all places just to interrogate his boyfriend?! Were they trying to scare him?! Katsuki opened the door and walked in and the whole place smelled like mildew and chemicals.
The invitation gave a map to what room he was supposed to go to and this whole sent massive amounts of alarm bells in Katsuki’s head off. He needed to tell them all to piss off. He was too angry about this entire thing to think clearly as he kicked the door open to-
the room and found it empty, but set up like there really was gonna be a party.

“Huh?” He wondered if those idiots really got him. That they were about to jump out and yell surprise and just used Izuku and his protectiveness over him to set up the perfect bait and he fell for it
“Hello? Shitty Hair? Dunce Face?!” Katsuki walked over to the dessert table and grabbed a cookie, inspecting it. “Alright assholes!” He yelled. “You got me! Haha! Surprise, now come out!”

No one jumped out and Katsuki didn’t smell any of his friends’ scent in the room.
But damnit the smell of chemicals was way too strong in this room especially when the door closed. Wait a minute, when did he close the door? Katsuki turned back and tried to leave but the door wouldn’t open.

“Hello?!” He screamed. “IDIOTS OPEN THE DAMN DOOR!”
The smell of chemicals soon became over bearing. He looked around the room to see where it was coming from and found a diffuser was set up in the corner of the ceiling.

“Who set up this shitty… this… this shitty…” Soon the room began to spin. “The fuck..?”
He fell to ground and the world went black.

“What’s wrong, Jiro?” Mina questioned as they sat in Kaminari’s room, waiting for an update. “Did he not show up?”

“I don’t know.” Jiro sighed. “My uncle’s phone got disconnected or something!”
“Great. So now we’re just sending Midoriya to an abandoned karaoke room and instead of breaking with Bakugo, he’s just gonna tell him everything!” Kaminari sighed. “I for one am gonna use this time to think of the best lie I can muster!”
“When’s the last time you heard from your Uncle?” Kirishima questioned.

“Yesterday! I told him the plan and assured him Midoriya would be there, he said he’ll take care of everything and then… nothing!” Jiro raked her hand through her hair.
“You don’t think he’s gonna turn us in, do you?” Mina gulped. “He wouldn’t get us in trouble, right??”

“N-no, maybe he’s just late on his phone bill!” Jiro assured her.

“I don’t know about this, guys.” Eijiro sighed. “I kind of hope he did just ghost you.”
“I mean just talking about this whole thing makes me feel like a villain! Are you sure your uncle’s not just some creep?!” He asked. “I mean what kind of methods can an adult use to scare a kid into breaking up with another one?!”

“Let me call my cousin!”
Jiro dialed her phone frantically.

“Hey, Sakura, it’s me….yeah, have you heard from your dad or seen him??….huh?! No, I didn’t know that! I’m sorry… uh, don’t worry about it… I hate to ask but why?…. Oh… oh no… I gotta go!” Jiro quickly hung up the phone.
“Well?” Kaminari questioned as Jiro looked pale.

“Um… my cousin doesn’t talk to her Dad anymore. Apparently he separated from her mom because…” Jiro felt a bead of sweat drop down her face. “She found he was involved with some bad guys.”
“We gotta go!” Kirishima stormed toward the door.

“Wait! I’m sure nothing will happen! He probably just ghosted me or something? There’s no way he would care so much about some high school drama! He probably didn’t-”

“ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?! We gotta save Midoriya, now!”
Kirishima stormed out of the room and went downstairs only to see… Midoriya in the common room?

“Shit.” He saw Izuku watching TV who thankfully didn’t notice him. He quickly closed the elevator and went back up. Why was he here? Why was he alone? It didn’t matter.
What mattered was that he was safe, right? He was safe but.. where was Bakugo? It’s strange for Midoriya to be alone in the alpha and beta dorms. Was Bakugo maybe just in the bathroom? Kirishima called him to no response. He then sent him a text asking what he’s up to. Nothing.
He had a bad feeling. A really bad feeling. Where was Bakugo?!

Izuku tried to focus on the tv, but he couldn’t. That was Kirishima coming down the elevator and going back up. Which meant he was here Kacchan still wasn’t back. It had been two hours. Where was he?!
Izuku felt goosebumps all over. Kacchan needed to come home. It was too late. It was almost curfew. He called him for the 20th time. He texted him. Nothing! He needed to calm himself down. He needed to ask for help. Something was wrong! Something was very wrong!

Katsuki woke up with a pounding headache. “Ugh…” He was cold. He felt a breeze all over.. shit… was he naked?! His eyes snapped open and he found himself in a dark room tied up with no clothes on.

“What the fuck?!” His head hurt and his arm hurt like hell.
He looked down, but his vision was still fuzzy. He picked his arms up and panicked as he saw something had been carved into his arm. His vision finally cleared as he read the phrase that was still bleeding from his skin:

‘Quirkless’

“Are you idiots?!” He heard yelling.
“My niece told me it would be a quirkless omega that showed up!”

“He might be quirkless but that’s no omega!”

“He’s still handsome though! There’s a market for alphas too! And a quirkless alpha? I’m sure someone will pay a fortune to bitch him!”
“Yeah, if we could get them to behave! We could sell them to one person! But a quirkless omega we could sell over an over!”

Katsuki realized what this was and he needed to get the fuck out of here. He was about to break out of his restraints when he heard a gunshot.
“Fucking useless!” The man who was mad about it being Katsuki walked toward the door.

“Put your head down.” A small voice startled Katsuki. “He won’t hurt you if you pretend to be asleep.”

That’s when Katsuki realized he wasn’t alone, and that awful scent was omega distress.
And the ground was lumpy because.. Katsuki panicked as he backed up. He wasn’t on a pile of rags.. he was on bodies! Dead ones! His heart raced as he saw several omegas of various stages of distress around the room. Some scared. Some dropped. Too many dead.
“Hurry!” The mousy little omega pleaded.

The man kicked the door open and groaned at the stench.

“A fucking alpha. What am I supposed to do with that?! Whatever… at least this one earned me a pretty coin. Go back in!” He threw an omega bleeding down their leg on the floor.
She began to sob profusely and shake all over.

“Ah don’t you start dropping on me!” The man screamed as she wailed in distress. “Stupid bitch!” He then shot her dead. “I’ll put you out of your misery then… we got another customer, who’s next?”

Katsuki couldn’t believe this.
Was this a nightmare?! What the hell was happening?! He saw the man walk toward the mousy omega.

“I know you’re awake brat!”

Katsuki got a good look at him. He was young. Couldn’t be a day over 13. He had brown curly hair and was so damn tiny! He kept pretending to sleep.
“Awake, alive or dead, this guy will have to deal with you.”

“NO HE FUCKING WON’T!” Katsuki roared before breaking his restraints and launching an ap shot at the guy, knocking him to the ground. He then grabbed the mousy guy and ran out of the room. “Shit shit shit!”
He ran through the hallway of whatever building they were in that had no windows. The place was lit up like it was a normal fucking office building. And then he heard the screams.

“What’s that?!” Katsuki questioned.

“That’s where they t-take us to work. All those rooms…”
“Damnit!” Katsuki couldn’t just leave all the omegas here. What kind of future hero would he be if he just saved himself?! He kicked open the first room he saw and was shocked to see the number 100 hero towering over this poor girl.
“What the fuck?!”

“Huh?! Who are you?!” Atom Man asked him and Katsuki immediately knocked him out with an explosion. He went into every room and had similar experiences with every one he saved. Heroes, politicians, journalists, teachers, doctors, respected people!
He finally got to one room and kicked the door open wide, shocked to his core to find Vald-Sensei. Class B’s homeroom teacher in action with this obviously unwilling underage omega.

“Vlad…Sensei?”

“Bakugo?!” He tossed the omega to the side and tucked himself in his pants.
“What the fuck are you doing?!” Katsuki cried. “WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?! YOU’RE A HERO DAMNIT! You’re supposed to be a damn hero!”

“I am a hero! And I’m sorry you had to see me like this but I’m also a man! These are just omegas Bakugo! That’s what they’re for!”
“You’ll understand when you’re-” before he could finish, Katsuki screamed at launcher several explosions at him and he couldn’t stop. What the hell?! What the hell was wrong with the world?! By the time he realized what he was doing, Vlad King was dead.
The Omega he saved whimpered on the floor at what she saw.

“Are you okay?” Katsuki questioned.

But she couldn’t speak, she was traumatized. Katsuki grabbed a blanket and put it over her. “I’m gonna bust a hole through this wall. Then I’m gonna call the police.”
The police… three of them were in those rooms. Katsuki’s head hurt. How deep did this go? “Actually you’re better off if you find a hospital yourself.” He blew the wall up and set the mousy omega down. Katsuki looked at his surroundings and felt his stomach twist in disgust.
He was at an elementary school. A well known one for elite snobby kids. This is what they used it for on the weekends?!

“U-um.. hero-san?!” One of the small girls he saved handed him a uniform she found in a janitors closet as all of them slowly left. “Thank you for saving us.”
“I’m not a hero…” Katsuki said. “I just wanted to get out of there…”

He slowly made his way to UA, all he wanted was a damn bath.

“Midoriya?” Shoto answered to door to find Izuku crying his eyes out.

“Todoroki… Kacchan’s… Kacchan’s not back yet… it’s so late…”
Izuku sobbed. “He’s not answering his phone.. I’m so worried. You have to help me find him! Please help me find him!”

“Hold on, slow down. Where did he go?” Shoto questioned as he put his hands on his shoulder.

Izuku shook his head and whimpered but it was hard for him to-
speak, he was so distraught.

“Come on, let’s go to his room. Let’s call you down.” Shoto grabbed his blanket and walked with Izuku to the elevator. When he got to the hallway, they found Katsuki standing outside his door in a janitor’s uniform that was too big for him.
“KACCHAN!” Izuku ran to him and Katsuki looked surprised to see him.

Katsuki couldn’t fully comprehend everything that happened to him. Everything he saw. Everything he did. Nothing made sense. Everything hurt but at the same time he felt nothing.
But hearing Izuku call his name, smelling his scared scent and seeing the worry in his eyes, everything clicked into place.

The omega threw his arms around him and sobbed his eyes out.

“I was so worried! I’m so glad you’re okay! Oh Kacchan!” Izuku desperately grabbed his face.
He kissed him over and over and Katsuki looked at his beautiful face. He thought of everything he had been through, and something in him broke as he realized how this all began.

That invitation was meant for Izuku.

Izuku was supposed to enter that room.
Izuku, kind, brave, smart, nerdy, sweet, beautiful, wonderful Izuku was supposed to be brought to that awful evil place. Quirkless, vulnerable, open hearted Izuku was supposed to… all by his supposed friends. Supposed heroes. They were all wicked. All evil. All awful.
Everyone. The entire world was against his omega.

No. Not his omega. Not yet.

Omega in danger.

Omega needs him.

Omega needs to be protected.

The world wants to hurt him.

The world is against him.
He needs to save him.

He needs to save him.

Needs to-

“Bakugo..?” Shoto called in concern.

“GET AWAY!” Katsuki launched an explosion straight at him dragging Izuku in his room and locking the door.

“Kacchan!” Izuku cried. “Kacchan! Why did you-”
Izuku looked into his eyes and froze. Kacchan was scared.

“Kacchan, what’s wrong?” He traced his hand on his cheek and Katsuki tossed him on his bed and towered over him.

“Mine. Need to make you mine. Need to keep you safe!”

“Kacchan! Stop! What are you-”
Katsuki pinned his wrists to the bed and sobbed as he sunk his teeth into his mating gland.

“AAA-” Izuku saw the world go white as he claimed so forcefully. He couldn’t think, he couldn’t breathe, he shook in place as Katsuki licked the mating bite over and over.

“BAKUGO!”
Shoto pounded on the door. “What are you doing to Midoriya?! What’s going on?! Let me in!”

Katsuki growled heavily at the door and started to drip slobber. That’s when Izuku realized he wasn’t himself. He was completely feral. He could also feel it through their fresh bond.
Kacchan was terrified. Absolutely, utterly terrified.

“Kacchan…” Izuku reached for him. “It’s okay… I’m here now!” He cried. “See? We’re together. Everything’s safe.”

“Safe. Safe.” Katsuki looked like an idea dawned on him as he frantically grabbed clothes from his closet.
He threw them on Izuku and piled more and more.

“BAKUGO I’M COMING IN!” Shoto froze the door then melted it but it was too late, Katsuki grabbed the pile of closes and Izuku and leapt off the balcony.

“DAMNIT!” Shoto chased them.
He knew a giant ice wall would do no good again Katsuki’s explosions but at least it might slow him down. He put one up, making Katsuki crash into it.

“DON’T YOU DARE HURT MY OMEGA!” Katsuki grabbed the grenades he had in his bag and launched all of them at Shoto.
“Just wait!” Shoto screamed before he was knocked to the ground by the explosions. “You’re the one whose hurting him! Look at him! He’s scared! You’re scaring him!”

Bakugo looked down at Izuku who was shaking in his arms from the cold ice.
“DIE!” Katsuki blew up the ice wall and took off, too fast for Shoto to even see where he went.

Suddenly a crown formed outside as everyone woke up from the noise.

“Todoroki?!” Kirishima rubbed his eyes. “What’s going on?!”

“Call Aizawa-Sensei! Now!!!”
Izuku clung onto Kacchan, unsure of where they were going. He tried to hold back his tears but it was hard. Kacchan was in pain. He was scared. He wasn’t himself. Izuku had read about alphas going feral but he never thought Kacchan would lose himself like this.
Finally Kacchan stopped moving as he landed at the lighthouse.

“O-our hideout?” Izuku blinked.

“Safe..” Katsuki huffed as he claimed to the top and threw Izuku in the window, letting the clothes cushion his fall. He then leapt in and frantically boarded up the windows.
He grabbed Izuku plopped him in the nest before covering him in more clothes and covers and jackets. Then he grabbed soap from the cabinets and ran downstairs. Izuku waited in the quiet comfort of the room before Kacchan returned naked and wet. He must have bathed in the ocean.
He grabbed sweatpants and seemed to be a little more calm before he plopped in the nest with Izuku and cried.

“Kacchan…” Izuku said breathlessly. “What happened to you?”

“Safe…” Katsuki said before kissing Izuku. “Here… forever.”
“Y-yes… you’re safe..” Izuku tried to assure him, making Katsuki shake his head and point at him. “I’m safe?”

“Mine…” Katsuki wrapped himself around him. “Here… safe…”

Then he fell asleep.

Two Years Later

Izuku was woken up by the sound of an explosion.
He looked around his nest and noticed Kacchan wasn’t there.

“Not again.” He sighed. Why did so many supposed heroes try to save him? He told them over and over he didn’t need their help. He opened his utility chest and grabbed the gun that was in it before looking out window.
“GET AWAY!” Katsuki launched a powerful wild explosion causing the hero to dodge.

Izuku hated that they came so early. Why couldn’t they leave him alone? He aimed the gun at the hero who had a weapon he was about to throw at Kacchan and shot him.

No one touches his dragon.
TBC 🐉
Izuku watched as the hero fell into the ocean and sighed. He didn’t want to do this, but Kacchan had given up his sanity to keep him safe. He could give up a little of his too. The alpha climbed in the window and looked at him disapprovingly before ripping the gun away.
“He was going to hurt you.” Izuku explained and Kacchan grunted in response as if to say: ‘I could have taken him.’

He put the gun back in its case then threw Izuku over his shoulder and plopped him back in the bed before showering him with affection and falling asleep.
“It is early, huh?” Izuku sighed. He wondered exactly time it was. But their only clock was downstairs in the kitchen and Izuku wasn’t even sure it was accurate.

Izuku looked on the wall at the old calendar from two years ago and wondered how close he got the date.
He tried not to think about time. Afterall, his time belonged to Kacchan. All of it. It was the only thing he had to give him. Forever. He tried his best to flip over the sleeping alpha and inspected him for any injuries. He looked okay, but Izuku wanted to be sure.
He frowned when he got to his arm and caressed the scar that never healed properly.

‘Quirkless’

Whatever happened to Kacchan was meant for him. That’s all Izuku knew. He felt pathetic. He shouldn’t have had Kacchan fight his battles for him.
He should have been the one to confront those friends of his once they realized that invitation wasn’t real.

“What did they do to you?” Izuku mumbled. He missed talking to Kacchan. He missed his bad words and short way of speaking. He missed his funny analogies and-
the way he saw the world. Now he got even shorter words, grunts and growls. And while Izuku still managed to figure out what he was saying, he wasn’t himself. Not fully. It was like he was consumed by nothing but fear and his love for him.
That was one thing Izuku was glad didn’t go away. Kacchan loved him so much. He did everything to protect him and keep him safe throughout the long days. The first few months in the Lighthouse were hard. All Izuku wanted was his mate back to himself.
He tried everything. He wanted to get help. But Kacchan wouldn’t let him leave. Izuku had cried and begged him to come with him to see a hero but that somehow made the alpha angrier and more fearful. Izuku was sure a hero would help him. That everything would be okay.
But when their hideout was finally discovered, the heroes treated Kacchan like a villain and Izuku as someone who needed to be rescued.

“WAIT! STOP! HE’S JUST SCARED!” Izuku cried and begged them to leaved. “I’m fine! We’re fine!”

It was Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady.
They fought valiantly but Kacchan got more ferocious the more Izuku cried. He was also a terrible matchup for the duo who almost died that day.

Izuku treated Kacchan’s wounds after and realized things were going to get worse from there. He had to protect Kacchan.
And he had to let him protect him.

“I’m sorry.” He kissed him over and over. “I’ll stay here, okay? I’ll stay.”

Kacchan would come and go a lot. Izuku didn’t know if he was wreaking havoc out in the world, but he would always come back with food and supplies.
Sometimes, he would return with gifts that would make Izuku happy.

“You remembered.” Izuku smiled at the All Might plushie he once gave him. It was Izuku’s favorite he kept at home at his mom’s house. He didn’t dare to ask if that’s where he got it.
The heroes tried again several more times.
Best Jeanist

Endeavor
Midnight-Sensei
The Pussy Cats
Aizawa-Sensei who lost one of his eyes in the process.

Kacchan got more violent with each attempt. But he also got more injuries.
Izuku tried to encourage him to find a new hideout. But he was hell bent that they had to stay in the lighthouse. Izuku wondered if it was because he told him he felt safe there and the alpha fixated on it.

At one point Kacchan brought home a gun.
“Did you get this from UA?!” Izuku looked at it. It was one of the last things he talked about with his classmates. A gun that would paralyze its victims, not kill them.

Kacchan gave it to him to use when he went to gather them more food and supplies.
But Izuku was happy that he finally had something to help protect Kacchan. The first time he killed someone, he felt awful. They were there to save him afterall but they tried to kill Kacchan. Because the ocean surrounded the lighthouse, when Izuku shot them, they would drown.
But he had the element of surprise. The heroes usually would focus on Kacchan and Izuku would wait patiently for the sound of the explosion, then he would take his shot.

He only had to save him 3 times so far… it seemed the heroes gave up after awhile.
There had to be about 6 months where Izuku and Kacchan lived in peace. No one attempted to save him and they could just be happy and safe and carefree. Izuku even saw the alpha relaxing, going back to his old self. Slowly but surely. Izuku was hopeful.
He knew Kacchan was running on instinct and a tiny shred of humanity so he didn’t fight any of his urges. They spent their heats and ruts together naturally. He only reminded Kacchan of one thing.

“You can’t knot me, okay? If I have a pup without a hospital, I’ll die.”
Any pregnancy with a male omega was high risk. And Izuku knew if he died, Kacchan would be devastated. He had to stay alive for him. He had stay here. He owed Kacchan his life for keeping him safe, fed and taken care of all these years.
After those 6 months of peace, heroes started to appear sporadically. New ones that Izuku had never heard of. And old ones that seemed to have something to prove. Izuku theorized the hero commission stopped sanctioning any more rescue attempts and these heroes were in it-
for the glory of taking down the “dragon” and finally rescuing the poor helpless omega inside the tower.

Izuku’s thoughts were interrupted when Kacchan’s eyes snapped open.

“Oh, sorry, did that hurt?” Izuku blinked when Kacchan stood up and rushed to the window. “Another one?”
He looked around for his gun when he noticed Kacchan backing away and lowering his growl.

“What is it?” Izuku peaked out the window and sighed. It was that mousy looking omega again. Every now and then omegas would come by and leave gift baskets by the walking path.
Izuku was never clear about their intentions. He wondered if maybe Kacchan gained a fan base of sorts. He thought he should be jealous until he opened the basket and saw things clearly meant for him. Like soft sweaters, and pillows.
These baskets always contained food and treats. Clothes for Kacchan, medicine and bandages and some sort of gift for Izuku. It was always the same group of omegas. Izuku tried to call out to one once when Kacchan wasn’t there but they cowered and ran away.
After the mousy omega ran, Kacchan leapt down and grabbed the basket. He came back up and handed it to Izuku, as if to say: ‘you have nothing to worry about. I don’t know why they do this either.’

“We should really thank them one day.” Izuku kissed him.
He opened the basket and handed Kacchan a muffin from it before sifting through it.

“Oh! Look! Some ramen! We haven’t had ramen in a long time! That’s exciting! And more books! I know you don’t really read these days but I can read to you! Would you like that, Kacchan??”
Katsuki grunted in response as he ate his muffin before Izuku pulled out a magazine and froze. It was a hero magazine with a feature on the newly graduated Class A.

Izuku quickly hid the cover from Kacchan. He wondered why they would give him this…
There was a page where the corner was bent, as if it was a book mark and Izuku immediately flipped to it to see a two page spread of Todoroki Shoto standing by Izuku’s mother.

Kacchan tried to look over his shoulder but Izuku slammed the magazine face down and shoved the basket-
in his arms.

“Can you go to the kitchen and put this stuff away, Kacchan? Also, can you make breakfast, I’m starving!”

Katsuki grunted in annoyance, making Izuku laugh.

“Yes, I know it’s early but its not my fault ! Once we eat we can nap, okay?!”
The alpha stomped away in aggravation and as soon as Izuku heard him open the door to the kitchen he grabbed the magazine and ran to their nest.

‘UA’s Top Student Swears to Slay Dragon and Save Quirkless Damsel’

The entire article was about how Todoroki worked tirelessly-
to be strong enough to take down Kacchan. He detailed everything about that night and how much he regretted not being able to save Izuku then.

‘Bakugo may be strong now, but I can assure you I’m stronger. I will save Midoriya Izuku. Nothing else matters to me.’
The article also interviewed Izuku’s mother and how much she missed her son and how she really didn’t believe all the other heroes cared enough because he was quirkless. That they all gave up but she had faith in Shoto to bring Izuku home.
“I just want to hold my baby boy again!” Was the last line of the article.

Izuku couldn’t help but cry. He did miss his mom and he understood she missed him but he didn’t need to be saved. Kacchan was protecting him! Kacchan wasn’t the problem! He shook in anger as he-
turned the page and saw them all. Ashido, Jiro, Kirishima, Kaminari. Graduating with big smiling faces. They didn’t deserve to be happy! They took away Kacchan’s happiness and terrified him so bad, he went feral for two years. It was them who needed to be arrested! Not Kacchan!
Why did they get to be heroes?! Why did they get to graduate?! Did no one bother to find out the truth?! Izuku didn’t realize how badly his mood had soured until Kacchan rushed to his side and pulled him in his lap.

“Don’t look! Don’t…”
Katsuki grabbed the magazine and entire body went cold at the sight of his classmates. The hair on the back of his neck stood up, his breathing became uneven and Izuku could feel the terror that ripped through him that was replaced with anger as he began to foam at the mouth.
“K-Kacchan? It’s okay… they’re not here. They can’t hurt us. Okay?” Izuku wiped the slobber off with a blanket and scented him and tried his best to give him any kind of comfort. “I’m sorry I started crying. I just think we should leave! We should go somewhere safer!”
Katsuki shook his head violently and blew up the magazine, startling Izuku. Then he felt bad for doing so and held the omega to his chest and rocked him back and forth.

“Kacchan, you’ve done so good protecting this place. Defending it. Making it our home…”
“You’re such a good alpha, keeping me safe but… but I want to live somewhere farther away. Somewhere where it can be just us. Where we can sleep as long as we want… can’t we find somewhere like that?” Izuku knew it was hopeless reasoning with him but he had to try.
Kacchan gently placed him in the nest before towering over him and kissing him desperately. Izuku knew the alpha needed intimacy when he was upset so he didn’t resist and let him be comforted by his touch. The alpha flipped him over and suckled on his neck-
when both their stomachs growled, making Izuku laugh and Kacchan whine.

“Guess you gotta finish making that breakfast…”

“What is this?!” Shoto set the magazine in flames in his father’s office.

“Shoto! That profile on you is important for your career!”
Endeavor scolded.

“They took my words completely out of context and cut out everything me and Mrs. Midoriya said about finding out what happened to Bakugo! I spend at least half an hour explaining to that interviewer the key to saving Midoriya was saving him!”
“Slaying the dragon?! His name is Bakugo! And I don’t intend to kill him! It’s completely misleading! What will his parents think when they see this?!” Shoto seethed.

“His parents already had to move away due to the harassment.” Endeavor reminded him.
“I knew not to trust that reporter!” Shoto said angrily as stormed out. “Never send one my away again!”

“Shoto! Where are you going?!”

“To try and find out who I can really trust!” The alpha slammed the door and made his way over to Iida’s house.
For two years he tried to get to the bottom of what happened to Bakugo that night. He asked all of his classmates if they could think of anything. None of them knew where he had went to. Shoto replayed that night in his head over and over. So many things were off.
Why was Midoriya at Heights Alliance without Bakugo? Why did they find him wearing a janitors uniform?! Why did nobody here their altercation until it was too late? Kirishima was right next door. To this day, he classmate swore he was just really tired that day…
So many things didn’t add up. Then there was the disappearance of Vlad King-Sensei shortly after. Was it related at all?! There too many unanswered questions the heroes just weren’t asking! They all were content on blaming the fence.
This was UA’s fault for letting omegas go to class with alphas. For allowing an unsupervised relationship between an omega and an alpha student. This was why omegas weren’t allowed in society until they matured in the first place. They were too tempting.
Quirkless helpless Midoriya made Bakugo snap and ruined his future. UA quickly rebuilt the fence after and Shoto wasn’t allowed to talk to any of Midoriya’s omega friends and ask if they knew anything. They barely rejoined society this year.
And there one omega in particular he had been dying to talk to.

He grabbed a bottle of sake at the store and waited patiently in front of his dear friend Iida’s new home. Iida was quick to court and marry Uraraka Ochaco as soon as they graduated.
“Todoroki-San?” One of Iida’s servants greeted. “Welcome. The master is waiting for you in the living area.”

“Thank you.” Shoto bowed before taking off his shoes. Iida’s house was large and beautiful. He had done well for himself and lived up to the Ingenium name.
It was easier for him to take off right after graduating. Now he had a mate, a home, and a whole life at only 18 years old. Shoto was proud of him. He walked over to the living room and smiled when saw his friend.

“Todoroki!” Iida greeted. “Welcome!”

“Where’s your wife?”
Shoto asked bluntly.

“Apologies. I tried to encourage her to meet my friends but she’s very wary of all my former classmates after what happened to Midoriya… I tried to explain to her we’re not all like Bakugo, but she shuts down every time I bring it up.” Tenya whispered.
“That’s understandable I guess…” Shoto sighed in frustration.

“You’re still trying to get to the bottom of it?” Iida questioned.

“Don’t you think it’s strange? Bakugo may have been an angry person. And explosive. But he always had his eyes on his goal. Surpass All Might.”
“Be the number one hero. And it wasn’t like being exposed to Midoriya was anything new!” Shoto insisted. “They’ve known each other all their lives! They were seeing each other before the fence went down! Why would he go feral just to get what he already had?!”
“I admit it’s strange!” Tenya sighed. “He was one of the brightest and strongest classmates we had. But I also learned there is no rationalizing what makes an alpha turn feral. It could be anything! I didn’t know about them seeing each other before the fence went down, though.”
“Care to elaborate?”

“There was a spot by the school where the fence wasn’t sturdy. There was a tiny opening Midoriya was able to fit through and there were no cameras in that area. Bakugo introduced me to him after the sports festival so I was friends with him for a long time”
“To think…” Tenya laughed.

“What?”

“Oh nothing, I’m not one to gossip, but as class President I did pay attention to things.” He mused. “Do you remember a few of our classmates were quite enamored by Bakugo? They bickered over his attention constantly!”
“It’s quite humorous to think he was seeing someone else the entire time!”

“Oh yeah… Kirishima right? Kaminari too… Jiro and I think Ashido.” Shoto shook his head. “They used to be at each others throats. Especially Kaminari and Ashido. Crazy to think they’re a couple now.”
“What’s really crazy is they all deny Bakugo was their friend at all!” Iida shook his head. “But as class President, I could not be gaslit!”

Suddenly a sour scent filled the room and Shoto and Tenya turned the direction of the hallway where Ochaco was peeking out.
She ran back to the bedroom when they caught her and Tenya stood up.

“Apologies, I should go check on her. This subject matter is really upsetting. She was quite close with Midoriya, you know.”

“Yeah… do you mind if I wait?” Shoto questioned.
“I don’t want to keep you if this takes too long. Omegas tend to need a lot of care to calm down when they’re upset.” Tenya informed him.

“I don’t mind.” Shoto insisted.

“Alright then. I will try and make this brief!”
Tenya stepped away and Shoto tried to be patient but he had a feeling Ochaco wasn’t going to open up to him directly for understandable reasons so he took a deep breath quietly walked through the hallway before pressing his ear toward the door of Tenya’s den.
“Darling, please. Tell me what’s wrong. Let me help…” Tenya begged the crying omega.

“I-it’s them. It’s all them. It’s their fault! They did something! I know they did! Y-you said they had crushes on Bakugo-kun, don’t you see? It’s them! It’s them! It’s them!”
“Dear, I’m sorry you had to hear that. It’s just gossip. It’s unbecoming of me, I should-”

“It’s my fault too!” Ochaco sniffled. “I should have told a teacher. I should have stopped him. I shouldn’t have let him go!”

“Let Midoriya go where?” Tenya questioned.
“N-not Deku-kun… Bakugo-kun… They told Deku they were throwing a surprise party for him and invited him to a closed down karaoke bar. I had a bad feeling so I told Bakugo about it and he decided to show up instead… the night he went feral and took Deku-kun was that night!”
“I tried to tell people but they didn’t listen! They said I can’t just accuse hero course student of things! But it’s true! They did something! I know they did!” She shreiked.

“Calm down, baby, please.” Tenya said soothingly. “I’ll ask them about it, okay?”
“They’ll just deny everything! Just like Ashido claimed it was an accident when she tried to kill Deku-kun!”

“That was an accident! She would never-”

“Go away!” Ochaco demanded and Shoto could smell how sour her scent was.

“Ochaco!”

“I said go!”
“I’m really sorry, I will send my friend away and give you space!” Tenya walked through the hallway and fixed his clothes, but when he got to the living area, Shoto was already gone.

Izuku was a nervous wreck as the week passed by. Any day now Todoroki-kun could come.
If not him then another hero. Anyone could try and take Kacchan away. Hurt him or worse…

“Safe!” Katsuki knelt in front of him and tried to assure him.

“Kacchan… I don’t wanna be here anymore.” Izuku grabbed his hands. “Please let’s find somewhere else! Anywhere else!”
Katsuki growled and layed his head on his lap.

“Here.”

“I’m scared here!” Izuku cried. “I don’t want them to take you away from me! I don’t like it when you get hurt! I don’t like it when they try and hurt you! I’m not happy! Please! Please find somewhere else for us!”
Katsuki looked into his eyes and sulked before whining and standing up. He then stomped over to the utility closet and throw a bunch of things on the ground before finding what he was looking for. He came back with a globe and placed it in front of Izuku before spinning it.
“Huh?” Izuku blinked as Kacchan span it more and more and grunted. “Y-you want me to pick a spot?” He laughed before the alpha wiped his tears and pointed at him.

“Happy!”

Izuku felt his heart beat quick. Even with half his mind gone, Kacchan was still so thoughtful.
He grabbed his face and kissed him gratefully before spinning the globe and pointing at Hawaii.

“Wanna go here? I heard the mountains are beautiful. We can hide there… I can sneak us on a plane, we just need money… I can sell my hero figures if you let me talk to mom!”
“We can.. we can…” Izuku kissed him again and again and became intoxicated by Kacchan’s scent. Then the creeping sensation began to pool in his stomach.

Oh no… not now…

“Mmm…” He whimpered.

Kacchan grabbed him and carried him to their nest, understanding his needs.
“Happy…” The alpha said with the grin of a hunter who just caught his delicious prey.

“Happy…” Izuku repeated as his body melted at his alpha’s hunger. What was he worried about again?

“Hey, man! Long time no see!” Kirishima greeted Shoto at his house.
“Come in.” Shoto stepped to the side.

“I’m glad you invited me over, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen… everyone.” Eijiro blinked as he saw who had showed up so far in the living room. Ashido, Kaminari and Jiro. “Hey, guys…” He waved nervously.
“Oh, he Ei!” Mina greeted chipperly. “How funny that we’re the first to show up, right?”

“Actually, this is everyone I invited.” Shoto announced before his servants brought out tea.

“Just us? Why not everyone else?” Jiro asked nervously.
“I just want to talk to you guys. Sit.” Shoto instructed Eijiro who smiled sheepishly before sitting on the mat by the coffee table.

“Um,” Kaminari sipped the tea he was brought. “If you gathered to ask if we care about the whole slaying Bakugo thing, you have our blessing!”
“Dude.” Kirishima grunted.

“What?! He’s nuts! And all for what?! Some useless omega?! Like anyone was gonna pry him away anyway!” Denki laughed. “No need to go nuts over that!”

“Midoriya wasn’t useless!” Shoto growled.

“Sorry, I forgot you were friends.” Denki sighed.
“Jammingyay might be stupid but..” Jiro cleared her throat, “he is right about Bakugo being dangerous. If you want to saved Midoriya, then you don’t have to ask permission to do what it takes. We know it’s going to be hard for you, but we support you.”
“I’m not here to ask for your support and I won’t be slaying anyone!” Shoto slammed his fist on the table. “I’m here to find out about what happened to him! According to Iida’s wife, you four invited Midoriya to a party that Bakugo ended up going to instead! Then he went feral!”
“Huh?!” Jiro gasped as everyone looked at each other. “We never invited Midoriya to a party!”

“Don’t lie to me!” Shoto seethed.

“We’re not lying, man.” Denki scratched the back of his head. “No offense but he wasn’t someone we’d invite anywhere, much less a party…”
“What did you do to Bakugo?!” Shoto seethed.

“We didn’t do anything to him!” Mina grimaced. “We were in the dorms all night!”

“The night we fell in love.” Denki swooned.

“You attempted to break dance and almost broke your neck…” Mina giggled.

“This isn’t the time to laugh!”
“Look, it’s not funny what happened to Bakugo or Midoriya. But we have nothing to do with it. The only ‘party’ I guess we had that night was hanging out in Kaminari’s room, trying to pass the time!” Jiro elaborated. “I really did miss you Todoroki and I’m-”
“-sad you invited us here just to accuse us of something so awful!”

“If you didn’t do anything wrong, you wouldn’t be lying!” Shoto growled. “Acting like you weren’t even friends with Bakugo when we all know you four wanted him the most!”

“Bakugo wasn’t friends with anyone!”
“He was my friend!” Shoto stood up. “And I’m not going to rest until I find out what happened to him!”

“Stop it, Todoroki!” Kirishima snapped. “I get you have trust issues but just because your brother was a villain doesn’t mean everyone else is! Good luck on saving Midoriya!”
“But I hope you’re doing it for the right reasons and not just to clear your family’s name! Because I’m sorry! Saving a quirkless omega isn’t enough to do that!”

“Dude…” Kaminari winced.

“Come on, let’s get out of here!” Eijiro stormed out.
Shoto stood there, stunned as they all left his home. Was Kirishima right? Was he projecting his family’s issues on to this case? Did he let it cloud his judgement and accuse his friends? No… no that wasn’t it! Ochaco’s cries were real. Midoriya’s cries! Bakugo’s fear!
He was done waiting. He had to find out what happened and put the real people responsible away. He had to save Bakugo and Midoriya. He had to save them tonight.
TBC 🌊
Izuku was hot all over. He had been under Kacchan for what felt like hours and he couldn’t get enough. If there was one thing that was good about being isolated completely from society, it was that he had no obligations at all to worry about during his heat.
He could let Kacchan take care of him and enjoy every second of it. And he thoroughly enjoyed being completely and utterly filled with his alpha. He could be as loud as he wanted. He could shout his needs and desires without any shame because it was just him and Kacchan.
No one else. Nothing else mattered. He didn’t know where he ended and Kacchan but he didn’t need to. Because they were together. They were one. And he had never felt so complete.

“Please more..” He whimpered as Kacchan passed out on top of him in exhaustion.
“No knot!” Kacchan reminded him. “Alive!”

“I know.. I know..” Izuku panted and pouted as the alpha showered him with kisses all over his sweaty forehead. He trailed his lips down his face to his lips to his neck till he bit down once again on their mating mark, reinforcing-
their bond.

“Mine.” Kacchan demanded.

“Yes… yours… all yours..” Izuku reiterated as the alpha suckled on the mark and made him completely come undone. He loved him so much.

“Izuku…” Katsuki whispered, making him gasp. It had been so long since he heard say his name.
“Kacchan…” Izuku teared up before looking into the alphas that were filled with so much love and sorrow. “What did you just say?”

“Izuku…” Katsuki said softly as he caressed his face. “Izuku I love you…”

Izuku’s heart burst as he broke down. “Are you… are you coming back?”
“Kacchan… is it really you? All of you?” He grabbed the alphas face desperately. He missed him so much. He needed him to say it again. His name. Complete sentences. Any semblance that his sanity was returning.

“I want you to be happy…” Katsuki cried and Izuku cried with him.
He touched their foreheads together and kissed him softly, savoring how sweet and controlled it was. Kacchan. Was Kacchan really back to him? Was-

“BAKUGO! MIDORIYA!” Shoto’s voice shouted from outside, making both of them jolt. “PLEASE COME OUT! I WANT TO TALK!”
Izuku could feel Kacchan’s terror and anger reignite at full force.

“Kacchan, stay with me! Stay with me please!” Izuku begged. “Don’t go out there! Please! I need you here! I need you! Need you back! Don’t-”

But the more desperate Izuku was, the more protective Kacchan got.
Izuku was in heat, and vulnerable and scared and as his alpha he had to defend him.

Katsuki’s eyes turned animalistic once again as he roared and leapt out the window.

“KACCHAN!” Izuku desperately put sweatshirt over himself and grabbed his gun.
He walked to the window and watched as Shoto was lit up in both red and blue fire, reminiscent of Endeavor. He really had gotten strong over the years.

“Calm down, Bakugo!” Shoto pleaded. “I’m not trying to hurt you! I just want to talk!”

“FUCK OFF!”
Katsuki launched a huge explosion. Kacchan had also gotten powerful over the years defending the tower from all those pro heroes. His explosions were tsunami sized even without support items. To Izuku’s horror, Shoto coated himself in iced and launched himself through it.
“ENOUGH! JUST TALK TO ME!” Shoto pleaded. “FOR MIDORIYA’S SAKE! YOU STILL LOVE HIM RIGHT?!”

“GET AWAYYYY!” Katsuki fired explosion after explosion but Shoto managed to get around or through all of them.

Izuku realized he needed to help and pointed his gun at the hero.
“I’m sorry, Todoroki..” Izuku grumbled before firing the shot. The alpha stumbled back when it hit him and froze as fell from the sky into the ocean. “Is he…?” He wondered as he and Kacchan watched the water with baited breath.
Suddenly, the water began to boil all around the tower. Kacchan looked around the waves frantically, launching explosions into the water before a beam of fire shot out straight at the window and Shoto appeared, grabbing the gun from Izuku's hand, making him yelp.
"Midoriya!" Shoto said in concern. He looked so relieved to see him. "It's okay now! Everything's fine! I'm-"

"GO AWAY!" Izuku cried. "I DON'T NEED TO BE SAVED! I DON'T NEED A HERO! LEAVE US ALONE!" Before he could say anything else, Katsuki tackled the hero onto the ground.
"DIE!!!" He shouted as he prepared a point blank explosion to Shoto's face but Shoto grabbed his hand hand and froze it with ice before blasting him against the light house, freezing him against the wall.

"KACCHAN!" Izuku ran dowstairs as fast as he could.
But he stumbled when the whole lighthouse began to shake as he heard the sound of yet another explosion. By the time Izuku managed to get outside, the two alphas were throwing their all at each other mid-air. All Izuku could see was red as their immense firepower lit up the sky.
The two went back and forth and Izuku winced every time Kacchan screamed in pain. As much as he believed in Kacchan, he could see it. He was getting slower, he was tired. He was going to lose!

"NO!" Izuku screamed as Shoto pierced him straight in the torso with a blade of ice.
Izuku watched in horror as the alpha who protected him all these years descended from sky and to the ground before coughing up blood.

"KACCHAN!" He ran to him and held him in his arms as tears pourded down his face. "Kacchan! Kacchan!" He gently slapped his cheeks, but-
the alpha was out cold. No. No no no no no. Kacchan couldn't lose. Izuku felt his entire body go cold as Shoto began to walk toward them.

"Kacchan. Wake up! You need to wake up! Please! WAKE UP!" He shrieked. He didn't want this to end. He didn't want Kacchan to be put away.
He didn't want Todoroki to hurt him any more. No one understood. He was just scared! Yes, he did bad things! But he didn't mean it! He was just trying to protect him! It wasn't fair! It wasn't-

"Midoriya.." Shoto said hesitantly.

"GO AWAY!" Izuku cried as held Kacchan tight.
"Kacchan, wake up! SAVE ME! SAVE ME! YOU HAVE TO SAVE ME!" He begged. "YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD KEEP ME SAFE! YOU PROMISED! GET UP! FIGHT! WAKE UP!"

He didn't want the alphas protection. He just didn't want him to lose. He didn't want him to be taken away forever.
Shoto watched pitifully as the omega sobbed while rain poured from the sky. His heart broke from him. He was shaking all over, distressed and the closer he got, the more terrified he was. Shoto felt like a villain.

"Mi-"

"GET BACK!" Izuku stood up.
He bared as his fangs and lunged for him before hitting him over and over. "LEAVE HIM ALONE! I'M FINE! I'M-" Shoto grabbed his wrists and held them tight. "I KNOW ABOUT THE PARTY!" He said desperately. "I KNOW IT'S NOT HIS FAULT! I KNOW!"
Izuku stopped struggling and looked at him in shock.

"I don't want to hurt him! I want to save him too! Please let me! Those wounds need healing! I.. won't turn you in! Come with me! I'll keep you safe! Both of you! Please!" Shoto begged.
"H-how can I believe you?" Izuku hiccupped.

"You don't have to." Shoto smiled at him. "But I believe in Bakugo. I believe in you. And I'm not going to let you down again."

Izuku silently grabbed Shoto's hand and led him to Kacchan.
He then kneeled down and cradled the alpha in his lap. Shoto kneeled down to face them as Izuku flipped Katsuki's right arm over and showed him the branding.

"Not safe..." Izuku croaked as Shoto gasped in horror. He then grabbed both their hands.

"I'll make it safe."

Yaoyourozu Momo was concerned by the reason for her visit to Todoroki’s. He told her to meet him in front of his house and to leave her phone at home and not tell anyone where she was going. This was obviously a serious matter.
She took a deep breath and knocked on the door tepidly. Shortly after, Shoto opened the door slightly as she greeted him with a smile.

“Did anyone follow you?”

“No. Why? What’s-” Before she could say anything, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her in his house.
He quickly locked the door and told her to take off her shoes.

“Todoroki-san… I’m going to need you to tell me why I’m here.” Momo said sternly, feeling uneasy.

“We don’t have a lot of time.” Shoto sighed. “I’ll explain everything but in order to get the time we need,”
“I need you to make an anesthetic. A strong one.” He demanded.

“I can’t just make you one unless I know what it’s for!” Momo was hesitant.

“I need you to trust me!” Shoto pleaded. “It’s urgent! Just help me with this one thing! We can figure everything else out later.”
Momo could see what it was was gravely important to Shoto so she sighed and turned around before producing a vile from her torso. When she got what she needed, she handed to the alpha who was thankful.

“If you’re giving it to a human, it needs to be diluted in water.”
“How strong is it if it’s not diluted?” Shoto questioned.

“It would put someone out for at least 5 days! I don’t recommend-”

“Perfect! That buys us lots of time!” Shoto grabbed it and bolted toward the back door.

“Where are you going?! What are you-”

“Just wait there!”
Shoto didn’t want a big and fancy house when he graduated. He wanted something simple but his father wasn’t a simple man. He insisted on only the best for his son and bough him a home much too big for him. One of the things it included was a garden house he never used.
Shoto did his best to patch Bakugo’s wounds on his own, but he didn’t realize Midoriya was in heat until his distress calmed down. He was sure he needed privacy, and his scent was overpowering to the alpha so he needed somewhere they could hide out and the garden was perfect.
He quickly put a mask on and knocked on the door before entering. He didn’t hear anything so he gently opened it and found Midoriya asleep with his arms legs wrapped around Bakugo.

“I have to wake you, I’m sorry.” Shoto sighed. He needed to administer the anesthesia.
He couldn’t keep fighting a feral alpha into submission. Bakugo had been feral for two years. Until he could figure out a way to bring his sanity back, he needed him to stay asleep. He hoped Momo could help him set up and IV with the fluids and nutrients he needed in the meantime
But he had to figure out if he could trust her first.

Shoto kneeled down and tried to hold his breath as he shook Midoriya awake. His scent was extremely intoxicating and while Shoto had self control, he didn’t want to risk hurting him in any way.
“Huh?” Izuku blinked awake before his eyes snapped open when he realized he wasn’t in the light house. He was about to scream until Shoto put his hand over his mouth and his finger to his lips.

“It’s just me, Midoriya. It’s just me.. it’s okay. You’re safe here, remember?”
Everything came rushing back to Izuku and he nodded slowly until Shoto released his mouth.

“I need you to move so I can give Bakugo some medicine, okay?”

Izuku looked at the vile suspiciously. “What kind of medicine?”
“The kind that will let him rest until I can figure out how to bring him back.” Shoto informed him.

“How long will that be?” Izuku interrogated.

“At least 5 days…”

“That’s too long!” Izuku snapped. “If he wakes up, I’ll deal with him. I’ll keep him here!”
“It’s too risky! If he gets out, other heroes won’t be as kind as I’ve been! Don’t you want want to be sure he’s 100 percent safe? This will keep him safe.” Shoto reasoned.

Izuku couldn’t argue and stood up nervously, ensuring he was out of the way.
Shoto carefully put the serum in Katsuki’s mouth and helped him swallow it and the alpha scrunched his face and grunted before relaxing and breathing steadily.

“Alright… I’m going to go talk to someone who can help us. I won’t bring anyone near Bakugo who we can’t trust, okay?”
“We can’t trust anyone.” Izuku sulked.

“Yes we-”

“No.” Izuku knelt down and held Kacchan to his chest. “I don’t want anyone else near him!”

“You trust me, don’t you?” Shoto knelt down to meet his eyes.

“I don’t really have a choice.” The omega grumbled.
Shoto wished he could ask all the questions on his mind.

Was Midoriya okay?

What happened to him during those two years? Was he hurt at all? Did someone hurt him before Bakugo went feral? Did he know what caused it? But he didn’t want to further distress him.
Izuku was in heat. All he wanted was his alpha by his side. Shoto wasn’t going to get anything useful out of him now.

“I’ll let you rest then.” Shoto sighed before standing up. He walked out of the garden house and was shocked to find Yaoyourozu by the door.

“Uh-”
“What did you do, Todoroki-San?”

Momo sipped her tea as she contemplated all the information Shoto told her. To think, Jiro, her dearest friend and someone she thought she loved was involved in all this somehow.

“I know Iida’s wife’s word isn’t a lot to go by, but-”
“I think she’s right.” Momo buried her head in her hands.

“You do?” Shoto said, taken aback.

“The night that Bakugo-San took Midoriya… she asked to sleep in my room, she was very upset!” Momo explained. “I thought it was just because she loved him…”
“But she asked me if it was all her fault? And I asked her how it could possibly be her fault?! No one was near Bakugo-San that night. But she insisted that she was responsible and she cried in her sleep and mumbled that she was a bad person.” Momo shook her head.
“The next morning, when I asked her about it, she said she was just shaken up. But, now that I hear all this, it suddenly makes sense…”

“An invitation meant for Midoriya that Bakugo went to instead… and then to carve that on his arm… it must have been pretty bad…”
Shoto sighed.

“I’ll support you in this, Todoroki.” Momo looked at him, determined. “Jiro-San doesn’t know what I know. I’ll try and get what I can from her. As for Bakugo’s wounds and Midoriya’s care, I can help with that too!”
“Thank you.” Shoto smiled, relieved.

“But there is a case I’ll have to stop working on. It seems implausible anyway.” She shook her head.

“What case?” Shoto blinked.

“Your old elementary school.”
“I shouldn’t tell you this, it’s a very tight lipped case because it concerns a lot of high profile individuals. But someone anonymously reported the old building was used as a trafficking spot for omegas. They believe that’s why Vlad-Sensei was killed.”
“Well, if they need someone smart to work that case, I wouldn’t want you stepping away from it! If it’s too much trouble-”

“There’s other good heroes on the case! Including Hawks-San! They won’t need me to get down the truth!” Momo assured him.
“Right.” Shoto nodded.

“I’ll let Midoriya rest and come back in the morning to tend to Bakugo as much as I can. You try and get some rest as well, Todoroki.” Momo insisted.

“I’ll try.” Shoto smiled at her. “I just wish I knew how to help bring Bakugo back to himself.”
“I know someone who can help with that!” Momo leapt up. “Aizawa-Sensei has been working really hard with Shinso to be able to do this. I think Sensei took what happened with Bakugo the hardest. Even after he lost his eye, he never gave up on him.”
“Oh yeah… I didn’t even think Shinso could do something like that…” Shoto pondered.

“The problem is Shinso is an alpha. So we have to wait for Midoriya-San to be done with his heat.” Momo informed him. “You should gather their things from the lighthouse in the meantime.”
“It’s best everyone is under the impression they left town so no one suspects you of anything.”

“You’re right. I should do that now.”

“It’s raining now, Todoroki-San.” Momo reminded him.

“Yeah, I guess I’ll go in the morning.” Shoto scratched his head.
Izuku watched his alpha sleep and wondered if he really could trust Todoroki. Should he take Kacchan and escape? Kacchan was heavy. It would be hard. He felt useless. Kacchan did so much to protect him and all he could do is follow the one who hurt him helplessly.
But the garden house was warm and cozy. And the blankets Shoto gave him were soft. It had been so long since Izuku had a conversation with anyone who spoke more than two words that he forgot his own social graces. Shoto didn’t turn them in. He gave them a house.
He was kind. He was gentle with Kacchan when he patched up his wounds. Izuku thought back to when Kacchan introduced the two of them.

“Deku. Half and Half. Half and Half. Deku.”

“Waaah! Kacchan! Be careful, it’s dangerous for both of us if more people find out about this spot!”
“Half and Half won’t blab to anyone. He’s a loser who’s got no one to blab to!” Katsuki groaned.

“Kacchan! That’s mean!” Izuku scolded.

“It’s true. I don’t have friends.” Shoto said bluntly, making Izuku pause.

Todoroki was an honest person who Kacchan trusted.
That was Izuku’s first impression of him.

Kacchan didn’t trust many people.

‘I’ll make it safe!’ He remembered Shoto’s words.

Izuku watched Kacchan sleep peacefully and snuggled up to his chest.

“I’m sorry, Kacchan. But I have to trust him too.”
TBC 🔥❄️
Izuku was nervous when his heat finally passed. It had been a few days and Kacchan was still unconscious. Todoroki and Yaoyourozu kept him alive, but Izuku was unsure what would happen when he woke up. What if Kacchan got scared and attacked them and got hurt again?
There was much uncertainty about what the future held. Izuku almost missed being in the lighthouse where all he had was Kacchan. At least he had a routine and he knew what he was getting into every day. Now he had no one to protect him. And he had no idea how much he needed it.
“You should Midoriya-San!” Momo smiled sweetly at him. “I’m sure you’re very hungry.”

Izuku was, but he was also too nervous to touch his food. He grabbed his tea and sipped it. Shoto and Momo watched him expectantly. They obviously had questions on their mind.
And Izuku didn’t know if he had many answers. He supposed he had questions too. He really had no idea what the outside world was like. That magazine filled him in on some things but not all.

“Midoriya.” Shoto broke the awkward silence.
“I was cleaning out the lighthouse and bringing your things the past few days and I noticed you read that interview. No wonder you’ve been so cautious. They completely twisted my words! I never said anything about slaying Bakugo! Your mom too, we wanted both of you back safe!”
He insisted. “I don’t want to push you to tell me anything you’re not ready to talk about. But before we bring anyone else in to help, we need to know what happened to Bakugo. As much as you know.”

“I don’t know.” Izuku mumbled. He then looked at YaoMomo and looked away.
He didn’t remember much about the short time he went to school with alphas and betas. But he remembered Momo and Jiro were always together. It made it hard to trust her, but she was kind. She helped him and Kacchan the past couple of days.
“I know you don’t know me that well, but I promise I’m on your side. Todoroki-San told me what Iida-San’s wife said-”

“Iida’s wife?” Izuku blinked.

“Sorry.” Shoto cleared his throat. “You remember her as Uraraka Ochaco.”

“Uraraka-San… got married?”
“Yes.” Shoto informed him.

“Is he nice?” Izuku blinked.

“Yes, I don’t know if you remember but it was our class President, Iida-san!” Momo said chipperly. “He’s one of the kindest most thoughtful people and he loves her very much!”

Izuku felt his stomach swirl.
He didn’t know how to feel about Class A. Other than the few people who kindly greeted him when he would hang out in the dorms with Kacchan, the two interactions he had with them ended him almost being squished and Kacchan going feral.
Kacchan always spoke highly of his friends and when they invited him to a party, he was so happy to finally be apart of his life in that way. He wanted them to accept him. He wanted their approval. But now he was convinced they all hated him.
They did something awful to Kacchan. He thought to the carving on his arm.

‘Quirkless’

That was meant for him. What if it wasn’t just the four who invited him. Who else was in on it? What did they do to Kacchan? He didn’t know and he was terrified.
“Kirishima…Ashido…Kaminari… and Jiro…” Izuku said shakily. “They pulled me aside after class and invited me to a surprise party they were throwing for Kacchan. I wanted to go. I wanted to fit in with his friends. Uraraka-San got suspicious… so she told Kacchan.”
“He…” Izuku took a deep breath. “He thought it wasn’t real, the party. Because it was to an old karaoke place that closed down. He thought they wanted to interrogate me so he insisted on showing up instead of me to surprise his friends. I decided to wait for him in his room.”
“But it was getting later and alter and he wasn’t answering my phone calls. I got anxious and went to wait for him in the common area. That’s when Kirishima came down the elevator. Around 9:00. I don’t know how long he had been back from the karaoke place or if-”
“he even went at all. But he went back upstairs as soon as he realized I was the one watching TV. Another hour passed by and Kacchan still wasn’t back. I was terrified but I didn’t want to tell a teacher because I was worried I would ruin everything for the other omegas…”
“So I went to Todoroki-kun. You know the rest from there. Kacchan’s been feral ever since. The only thing I know was whatever happened scared him. He doesn’t believe I’m safe. That’s why he felt he had to lock me away. You saw what they did to his arm… that was meant for me.”
Izuku looked at his reflection in the tea. He wondered how easy Kacchan’s life would have been without him in it.

“I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful. Kacchan did all this to protect me. Because I can’t defend myself. But I tried to do what I can for him. Maybe I made it worse.”
Izuku swirled his tea.

“Midoriya, we’re going to get to the bottom of what happened to him.” Shoto reached his hand across the table. “We’re going to make it safe for both of you.”

“Isn’t it obvious what happened to him? I happened to him.” Izuku grumbled.
"If I just disappeared like everyone wanted, none of this would have happened.."

"It may not have happened but that doesn't make it right!" Shoto insisted. "If you disappeared before I met you, I would have turned out just like my brother!"
Shoto stood up. "A villain who burned on nothing but a grudge! Whoever did this did way more harm than good! You know what Principal Nezu said to the press after Bakugo took you?! He said you were the brightest example for why they tore the fence down!"
"Heroes kept trying to save you for a reason, Midoriya! There are several people who never stopped pushing for you to be brought home!"

"KACCHAN IS MY HOME!" Izuku cried. "And I ruined him! He was supposed to be a hero! Number one like he always dreamed of!"
"But he threw everything away to protect ME! And I let him! Because he may have been scared, but whatever happened to him was meant for me! And I didn't want to face it! I let him protect me! I let him throw his future away! I let him become a villain because I was terrified!"
"Bakugo-san is still a hero as far as I'm concerned." Momo spoke up. "He didn't hurt anyone who didn't try to come after you first. Even in his feral state, he did his best to save you. The ones responsible are the only ones at fault."
"He loves you." Shoto added. "We all saw the way he changed when you started seeing each other. No one could place it until the fence officially went down. But it was clear, you're the one caused his happiness. I'm sure if you were able to, you would do the same for him, right?"
"You tried to fight me even without power. You're brave, Midoriya. You still have a bright future. The world still needs people like you." He assured him.

"And Bakugo-san needs you too. We have a way to bring him back, but you have to trust us." Momo smiled.
"You can... save him?" Izuku's eyes watered. "You can bring him back to me."

"Yes. We can try." Shoto insisted. "There are others who have been fighting for him too."

Izuku felt a feeling swell in his chest he hadn't felt in a long time.

Hope.

Momo and Shoto were in good spirits after their visit to Aizawa's. He was more than relieved that Bakugo was subdued and he insisted Shinso was definitely up for the task. The problem was what would happen after. Even if Bakugo's sanity returned,
the world still thought of him as a villain. He killed people, afterall. Though Shoto was convinced the killing was done by Midoriya, he wasn't going to volunteer that information. With a good lawyer, he could have an ironclad defense of temporary insanity.
And if his classmates really were responsible, the news of what they had done could turn the public in Bakugo's favor. He could be martyr. But that all depends on what they did. Was it a harmless prank gone wrong? Shoto wished he could do more for him, but everything depended-
on Shinso now. And they had to do everything in secret. Getting the rest of the heroes on their side was going to be an uphill battle.

"Did you collect everything from the lighthouse, Todoroki-san?" Momo questioned.

"Mostly everything."
"There's one closet that has a few clothes left." He informed her.

"We might as well collect it now." Momo suggested.

Shoto was sure she was just curious about what the inside of the lighthouse looked like and how two people could survive in there for two years.
But there was no harm in humoring her. Midoriya wasn't one hundred percent comfortable with their company yet, either. So it's not like he was missing them.

When they got to the lighthouse, Momo confirmed his suspicions as she expressed her fascination with everything.
"They have a full kitchen! Look, the sink has running water!"

"I know." Shoto laughed.

"We can't leave these behind!" She took off the twinkle lights and marveled if they had water or electricity bills while Shoto collected the rest of the clothes from the closet.
Momo felt relieved at how cozy and sweet the lighthouse was. She always pictured Midoriya cowering away in a prison all these years while Bakugo slithered around him like a real dragon. But it seemed they actually lived a peaceful life when they didn't get visits from heroes.
"Todoroki-san! We can't leave these behind!" She gasped as she opened a chest filled to the brim with notebooks. When she opened the pages, she realized they were filled with journal entries from the omega of his life in the lighthouse.
"Yaoyourozu...!" Shoto's breath hitched as walked out of the closet holding something with shaking hands.

"What is it?"

Shoto looked like he had seen a ghost.

"B..Bakugo was wearing this when he returned to UA that day..."
He unfolded what looked like a janitor's uniform.

"Why would he be wearing something like that?" She questioned.

"Look..." Shoto showed her the logo on the uniform. It was the logo for his old elementary school.

Momo dropped the notebooks she was holding.
"T-Todoroki-san... I need to make a phone call."

A terrible feeling swirled in her stomach. This case just got a whole lot more complicated. It was no longer something they could keep between themselves.
TBC 🪣
Izuku nervously hid behind Todoroki as a bunch of pro heroes entered an interrogation room under UA. Everything happened quickly. When Shoto and YaoMomo returned from meeting with Aizawa, they told him what they knew. That what happened to Kacchan might be worse than they thought
Izuku recognized a few of the heroes, ones he used to fan boy over. Those days felt like ages ago. Hawks, Best Jeanist, Fatgum… but there were others he didn’t recognize. New ones. A blonde hero named Lemillion, and another one called Phantom Thief.
“You’re Midoriya, right?” Lemillion approached him excitedly and Izuku retreated further behind Shoto. “Hey it’s alright!” He suddenly appeared behind him, and the omega jolted. “We’re not gonna hurt you! We’re just glad you’re okay!”

Izuku forgot heroes were good guys.
He spent so long afraid they were going to take Kacchan away from him, that he didn’t know how to be anything but wary.

“Lemillion. Leave him alone.” Aizawa instructed.

“But don’t we have question for him? He could help us with the dra- with Bakugo, right?”
“Kacchan’s not a villain!” Izuku snapped. “Don’t hurt him!”

“No one’s gonna hurt him, Midoriya. We’re going to bring him back to himself. That’s why we’re all here. Then we’re gonna find out what happened to him.” Shoto put his hands on his shoulders reassuringly.
“I didn’t realize you were going to bring him.” Shinso said disapprovingly.

“Why wouldn’t I?” Shoto blinked. “He needs to know what happened more than anyone.”

“He’ll only get in the way. Bakugo won’t be able to remain calm if he’s here.” Shinso said bluntly.
Izuku couldn’t help but feel awful at that statement. Of course he was in the way. It was his fault this happened in the first place.

“Would it be better if I waited outside?” He asked sadly.

“Now now Shinso-kun.” Hawks patted Izuku’s head.
“You’re underestimating your alma mater! Bakugo-kun is on the other side of the glass. Midoriya’s scent won’t get to him! He won’t know anyone is watching other than Aizawa Sensei and yourself. Plus, we need leverage for him to tell us what happened when he does calm down.”
“Being able to see his omega is the best leverage we could ask for.”

“There is one thing that concerns me.” Aizawa grumbled. “If what Todoroki says is true and this is all connected somehow, it might be best Midoriya doesn’t hear what was meant to happen to him…”
“If he waits outside, we can still have the leverage we need. It will also help if I assure Bakugo that Midoriya isn’t listening. He won’t have to censor himself.”

“I want to know!” Izuku piped up. “I need to know what happened to him!”
“Kid, this is heavy stuff.” Fatgum spoke. “Some things are best-”

“You don’t understand!” Izuku snapped. “Kacchan and I are mated! I felt every ounce of terror he did the second he claimed me that day! I already know how scary it was! I don’t need protection! I need answers”
“All the more reason to keep him out.” Shinso argued. “If he gets angry or scared by what he’s hearing, Bakugo will feel it too.”

“I can help with that.” Monoma volunteered. “I copied Soroka’s quirk.”

“You predicted this, huh?” Shinso rolled his eyes.
Soroka was known as the omega hero. Her quirk released a strong fragrance that had a relaxing effect on omegas. It was extremely useful for evacuations.

“I just think if I was in his shoes, I would want to know.” Monoma smirked.
“You guys..” Momo interrupted. “He’s waking up.” She pointed to the glass, where Katsuki was stirring awake.

“Alright.” Shinso took a deep breath. “Let me just adjust this…” He fixed his persona chords while everyone waited anxiously.

“You can do this.” Aizawa assured him.
Katsuki tossed and turned as he was in the throngs of a never ending nightmare.

Everything hurt. Nothing was right. Izuku wasn’t safe. The world wasn’t able to protect him. The world actively sought to hurt him. The storm inside him raged on.
Heroes weren’t real.
Police weren’t real.
Teachers
Society
Friends
Maybe family?
Maybe everyone

Everything disgusted him. But not Izuku…

Where was he?

Izuku?
Katsuki gasped for air, but he couldn’t see. Where was he?

“Kacchan!”

“Deku!” Katsuki sat up as his blindfold fell of his face and he saw the person across the room. Who the fuck was this?! Then he was frozen. He couldn’t think.

“Stand up, Bakugo.” Shinso instructed.
Katsuki did as told.

Shinso knew he had one shot at this. He practiced for years for this moment. He could do this. He had to.

“Look at yourself.”

Katsuki stared at himself in the two way mirror in the room.

“Remember who you are. Come back to us. You’re safe. You’re here!”
Shinso kept speaking the same sentiment, seeping into his brain.

Katsuki felt the storm inside him stop momentarily. He saw a light. A small one. He walked toward it, then ran then he fell into a river “AHHH!”

“Are you okay?” A hand reached out to him. “Can you stand?”
Katsuki looked up at the beautiful angelic face that had so much love for him. Then at the hand that he rejected at one point too. Was he really better than anyone else?

"I'm sorry." Katsuki said as he grabbed his hand. "You deserve better than what the world has to give you."
"The world gave me Kacchan, didn't it?" Little Izuku smiled and giggled. "I miss him."

"I'm right here, nerd."

"But I need you out there!" Izuku demanded as pointed to a black hole. "I know it's scary... and dangerous. But it's better together, right?"
Katsuki stared at the black hole and frowned. How long has he been avoiding it?

"What have I done?" Katsuki blinked in realization.

"Kept me safe." Little Izuku was older now. Even more beautiful if that was possible. His hair was much longer and messier. He looked tired.
"Thank you." He held his hands to his heart. "But I want you to live your life too. And I want to live it beside you. So come with me?"

Katsuki saw the carving on his outstretched arm and recoiled in fear.

"I know it's scary! But it's okay! It's going to be okay!"
"I've been waiting for you! So come on!"

"Be brave, asshat!" Katsuki was suddenly staring at himself. "We fucked up! Now we gotta make it right! So come on!" He pulled himself out of the water. "Deku needs us. And those assholes need to pay!"
Katsuki suddenly remembered just how he got the carving on his arm. The invitation that was meant for Izuku was given to him by...

He looked into the black hole and saw Jiro, Kaminari, Ashido, and Kirishima laughing with their diplomas. Looking so care free, and happy.
Like they didn't try to feed Izuku to the sharks. Oh fuck no! They weren't gonna get away with this. Katsuki made large explosion in his hands, then he detonated it and charged into the black hole.

"DIE!"

Aizawa activated his quirk just in time to stop-
Katsuki's explosion from destroying the mirror.

"Kacchan..!" Izuku ran up to the glass.

"Back up, Midoriya." Shoto pulled him back.

Katsuki looked around the room and hypervenilated. Where the hell was he? One minute, he was walking home... the next...

"Where am I?!"
He looked at Shinso for answers who was taken aback.

"Bakugo... is it you?" Shinso blinked.

"OF COURSE IT'S ME! WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" Katsuki snapped.

"Um... Hitoshi Shinso... from General Studies.." Shinso took a guess at what he last remembered.
Katsuki froze. Shinso was wearing what looked like a hero costume. He was taller than he last remembered him.

"Bakugo." Aizawa's voice spoke through the speakers. "Are you alright?"

"AM I ALRIGHT?! WHY DON'T YOU START BY TELLING ME WHERE THE FUCK I AM! WHAT'S GOING ON, SENSEI?"
"We're here at UA... what's the last thing you remember, Bakugo?" Aizawa questioned.

Katsuki looked at himself in the mirror and panicked. He was taller as well. And more built. He had scarring on his torso. What the hell? He felt his stomach twist as he extrended his arms.
'Quirkless'

It wasn't just an awful nightmare. Everything he saw was real. Everything!

"Don't tell me you're part of it too, Sensei?" Katsuki's voice broke as tears streamed down his face and then a realization hit him. "D-Deku... where's Deku?! Where's Izuku?!"
"Midoriya is fine, Bakugo-kun! You kept him safe all this time. Don't worry. We'll give him back to you. But we need to talk to you first!" Hawks' voice spoke through the speakers.

"I WANNA SEE HIM! GIVE HIM TO ME!" Katsuki demanded.
"I'll show him to you, but it's best we keep his scent away from you now." Hawks informed him. "We don't want you going feral again. You haven't been yourself for about... two years now!"

Two years?! Katsuki's been feral two years?! His anxiety was getting worse.
What on earth did he do in those two years?

"I guess I should explain what happened so you're not confused!" Hawks said before turning on the light so Katsuki could see through the two way mirror. Izuku was on the other side with his hands pressed to the glass.
Tears were running down his cheeks. He looked exactly like he did in Katsuki's dream. Tired and beautiful with hair as long as Aizawa's. Katsuki pressed his hands against the glass where Izuku's were. Damnit he wanted to hold him. Izuku mouthed something he couldn't hear.
Katsuki moved his focus away from his shiny eyes and onto his perfect lips that he wanted nothing more than to kiss right now.

'It's okay' The omega mouthed. 'I'm so happy you're back.'

Katsuki pressed his forehead against the glass and he could feel it in his chest.
Izuku was here. Izuku was safe. Izuku was happy. Katsuki jolted his head up as he observed the mating bite on Izuku's neck. He put his hand to his own gland and the omega nodded, assuring him that they were in fact, mated.

"Shit." Katsuki cried. "Did I-"

'It's okay.'
Izuku smiled fondly as he put his hand to the mating mark.

'I'm happy to be Kacchan's.'

Katsuki sobbed as he trembled all over.

"What the fuck did I do?!"

"I'll explain!" Hawks spoke up. "It appears you received an invitation that was meant for Midoriya."
"Wherever you went triggered a feral response from you. You forcefully mated Midoriya when you returned to UA, then took him and kept him in an abandoned lighthouse for two years. Lots of heroes tried to save him and you defeated every one of them and even killed a few."
"But we've seen this before. Feral alphas are hardly held responsible for their actions while feral. And Midoriya seems more or less okay, suffering very little trauma. So as far as the heroes are concerned, the villain status the media granted you will be revoked!"
"The heroes who lost their lives were acting against the commissions wishes anyway, they didn't really want to save Midoriya. They just wanted the glory of killing you. So you were just acting in a manner of self defense!" Hawks explained.
"Now that that's out of the way, what we really need to know is what happened to you! All of us in here have been briefed about the invitation and who handed Midoriya the invitation. So we've all accepted the former UA students as persons of interest in this case."
Katsuki couldn't believe what he just heard. He forcefully claimed Izuku? Kidnapped him? Took years away from his life?! And heroes. He killed them. The media considered him a villain. It was a lot to take in.

"You have to give him time when you just spit it out like that!"
Aizawa scolded him.

"We don't have much time. We need to get to the bottom of what happened. If what the whistleblower said was true, there are several working heroes who are a danger to the omegas out they swore to save as we speak." Hawks said gavely.
"Bakugo-kun, the sooner you can calm down and recall what happened, the sooner you can have Midoriya-kun in your arms, okay?!"

Katsuki looked at Izuku and felt his anxiety. He didn't trust anyone on the other side of the glass after what he saw. But, damnit he had no choice.

The quirk Monoma was using was strong but it was no match against Izuku's tears. He couldn't help himself. Every work Kacchan said about what he experienced was like a knife to his chest. Every hero he named, every high profile member of society who swore to protect-
people like him, every act against humanity Kacchan was witness to tore Izuku apart. To think, if Uraraka wasn't looking out for him, Izuku wouldn't be alive. He would be another omega in that pile of bodies Kacchan woke up on top of. How awful. How evil!
Now Izuku understood all the gift baskets they received. It must have been them! The omegas he rescued that day!

"I can't believe this..." Monoma said horror. "Vlad-Sensei would never..! He wasn't that kind of person!"

"Bakugo has no reason to lie." Aizawa seethed in anger.
“This goes far deeper than we ever thought.” Hawks said gravely. “You can’t help but wonder if we can even trust the people in this room.”

“Don’t start down that road!” Fatgum scolded.

“If you can’t trust the seams to hold your jeans together, what can you trust?”
Best Jeanist questioned.

“As hard as this is all to believe, we have to see this through to the end!” Mirio declared. “There could be more people living through the hell Bakugo experienced as we speak!”
“Which brings the question, Eraser-San… how did your former students find out about this?”

“Only one way to find out.” Aizawa groaned. “We have to arrest them and quick.”

“K-Kacchan was a hero!” Izuku spoke up, interrupting the discussion.
“He saved all those omegas at that school! He kept me safe all this time! Even when he was feral! Even when he lost his mind, he still did everything to protect me! So please!” Izuku wiped his tears. “Please don’t hold his crimes against him! Let him come home!”
Aizawa stood up and knelt in front of Izuku before putting his hand on his shoulder reassuringly. “He’s going to save a lot more people than that with the information he told us. Go to him. Then we’ll release you both back to Todoroki.”

Izuku watched as Shinso opened the door.
The second he smelled his alphas scent, he bolted toward it.

“Midoriya.” Aizawa said before he could go to the other side. “I’m sorry for what my students did under my watch.”

Izuku looked back at him and nodded sadly.
Then he ran through the door and burst into tears again when he laid eyes on Kacchan.

“Izuku….” Katsuki said breathlessly.

“Kacchan!” Izuku jumped up and threw his arms around him before kissing him intensely. “I’m so sorry… I’m so sorry about what happened… I’m sorry..”
Katsuki wanted to tell him to stop apologizing. He wanted to tell him he should be the one apologizing. He exposed him to his friends. He claimed him against his will. He stole two years of his life. But right now he couldn’t speak. He was so tired and overwhelmed.
And Izuku’s scent was so damn comforting.

Katsuki grabbed his face and gently kissed him. He wiped his tears with his thumbs and pressed their foreheads together, inhaling his oxygen, savoring the strong mating bond that resonated between them. Everything would be okay now.
Izuku was here.

“Safe…” Katsuki whispered.

“Yes Kacchan…” Izuku sniffled as he nodded his head. “We’re safe, finally.”

“I’m sorry…” Katsuki whined and Izuku pressed their lips together, taking all his pain away.

“Don’t be. I’m so happy you’re back!”
TBC 🪟
“And this is our house for now! Todoroki-kun’s and Yaoyourozu-San have been taking care of us and the make really good meals or they have someone make it. I’m not quite sure! You must be starving!” Izuku led Katsuki around Shoto’s home by his hand.
There was a lot the alpha had to catch up on in the two years he missed. A lot of it was overwhelming. Even basic things, like who was married and mated, what were the hero rankings? What had society gone through? What all did he miss? It was a lot to take in.
What also shocked him was how much Izuku didn’t know. The omega had no access to internet or outside news during those two years either. He tried to catch up on it in the few days around Shoto’s house but there were too many things to read up on.
“You guys should eat now.” Momo smiled as she heard Katsuki’s stomach grumble.

“My sister is left some food for us.” Shoto informed them. “I told her to make Bakugo’s favorite.”

“You told her about Kacchan?” Izuku asked hesitantly.
“It’s only a matter of time before we announce to everyone what happened. She won’t tell anyone.” Shoto informed them. “Sit.”

Katsuki looked at the bowl of food in front of him as Momo served him. He was starving. It was mouth watering. But he couldn’t bring himself to eat.
His stomach turned as flashbacks ran through his head of everything he saw in the awful place. All those omegas were famished starving. His anxiety began to spike, and he could feel bile rising in his throat. He was about to stand up and run to the bathroom when Izuku scented him
“You wanna know something amazing, Kacchan.” His voice grounded him. “When we were in the Lighthouse, you always managed a way to get us food. But sometimes you couldn’t get a lot. But we had help!” The omega put his hands together happily.
“There was a group of omegas that would bring us gift baskets full of goodies! I was kind of jealous at first and thought they were your fans, but looking back on it, they may have been the people you saved that day!”

Katsuki looked at him in shock.
“The one that came the most often was a small boy with curly brown hair… they was a really pretty girl with long red hair too! I could feel all the gratitude and love they put in each basket.” Izuku squeezed his hand tight. “You’re their hero, Kacchan.”
Katsuki felt his eyes mist as he remembered those omegas he helped.

“Are they…”He croaked. “Did they look okay?”

“Mmhmm!” Izuku nodded. “They looked very healthy and happy.”

Katsuki grabbed Izuku’s face and kissed him. Was he happy? Was he healthy? He lost a lot of weight.
He looked tired, his face had sunken in, he was clearly living with so much anxiety for the two years Katsuki kept him away. All he wanted to do was keep him safe, and he made everything so much worse for him.

Izuku blushed and threw his arms around him before purring up a storm
“I missed you…” The omega cried. Katsuki could feel his happiness and relief buzzing through their bond. Guilt could come later. Right now, he needed to be there for him. And he needed to fucking eat.

He took a whopping spoonful of the delicious Mapo Tofu prepared by Fuyumi,
and then he cried his eyes out.

“This is where you guys can rest until we make it safe for you to return to society.” Shoto showed Katsuki around the garden house. “It’s a bit of a mess now filled with everything from the Lighthouse. But you can decorate it how you want.”
“Todoroki…” Katsuki said hesitantly.

“Hm?” Shoto looked at him.

“Thanks…” The alpha grumbled as his breath shuddered. He saved him. He saved Izuku. He believed Uraraka, he believed in him and now he was giving them a home.
He should be on his knees but he didn’t want embarrass himself in front of his omega.

“You saved me all those years ago by showing me your secret and introducing me to Midoriya.” Shoto smiled. “I’m just returning the favor.”
When he left them alone, Izuku and Katsuki moved toward each other like magnets. Katsuki felt greedy but he couldn’t help it. He needed to kiss Izuku, touch him, breathe his air. He brought him immense comfort after his harrowing last memory.
It was meant for him.

It was meant for him.

God, all of that awful shit was meant for Izuku.

Katsuki began to cry and shake as he held him close to his chest.

“I’m sorry…” The alpha sobbed.

“You have nothing to be sorry about!” Izuku insisted.
“You kept me safe. You gave me nothing but love. And after what you went through, it all makes sense… if it wasn’t for you protecting me, I would have been the one to-”

“Don’t say it…” Katsuki put his thumb over his lips. “Please don’t say it.”

“S-so-”

Katsuki kissed him.
Izuku was so small. His lips were small. His face was small, but his heart was so big. How dare the world try and snuff him out? It made Katsuki sick, thinking of Izuku in that place. He knew him. He would fight everyone if he could. He would have given his life in an instant.
Katsuki desperately deepened the kiss. He understood why he went feral. And as much as he hated his actions then, he understood them completely. Because here he was having the exact same urges. He didn’t want the world to have Izuku back. They didn’t deserve him.
They couldn’t keep him safe. Katsuki pressed the omega against the wall and gently caressed his face while looking into his imploring eyes that were filled with concern and love.

“I don’t deserve you…” Was all Katsuki could say.

“That’s not true.” Izuku said in determination.
“You’re the only one I want! I deserved what I want, right?”

Katsuki laughed incredulously before kissing him once again. “You seriously wanted me when I wasn’t even human?”

“You were still Kacchan.” Izuku smiled before caressing his cheek.
Katsuki grabbed his hand squeezed it. God, he loved him. He reached down and caressed his mating bite which made Izuku blush and squirm.

“What? That feel good or something?” Katsuki teased.

“It’s um… sensitive.” Izuku’s breath hitched. Katsuki leaned close and kissed it softly
“What I do to you without my humanity, huh?” Katsuki’s mouth began to water.

“Nothing I didn’t want.” Izuku looked into his eyes as his face flushed.

“You’re saying we-”

“Yeah…” Izuku cleared his throat. “It felt pointless fighting it. I had to do something for you.”
“So what you’re saying is you took full advantage of me in that state!” Katsuki scolded him.

“N-no! Not at all?! Did I?! Is that what happened?!!” Izuku began to feel dizzy.

“Pervy Deku always taking what he can get.” Katsuki grinned.

“I-I’m not a pervert! I-”

“Relax..”
Katsuki pinched his nose. “I’m just teasing you, nerd.” He then pressed his lips to his neck, and dragged his tongue slowly down his scent gland, sending shivers all down Izuku’s spine. “I wanna experience it myself.” He whispered.

“W-we can do that.” Izuku gulped.
Katsuki smirked as he pulled him tight against his chest and kissed his temple. He felt so lucky to have him. And the world was gonna pay for ever trying to take him away.

“Alright.” Hawks looked at the four interrogation rooms and the heroes inside them.
“Which should we listen to first, Shoto-kun?”

Todoroki looked at each room. Fatgum interviewing Kirishima, Aizawa with Kaminari, Momo with Jiro and Lemillion taking on Ashido.

“Let’s see how Aizawa is doing.”

What Shoto didn’t realize was he was followed.
After Kacchan fell asleep, Izuku had gone to the kitchen to get some water and overheard Shoto on the phone. He was leaving to watch the interrogations of the ones who started this whole mess. Izuku couldn’t miss this. He had to know what their explanation was.
He had to know if they showed any remorse for what they had put his mate through.

He snuck in Todoroki’s car when he wasn’t paying attention. It was still filled with some things from the lighthouse so it smelled like him anyway.
When they got to Hawks’ agency, Izuku waited and then followed Shoto’s scent to the interrogation center. However, he got distracted by all the cool amazing things in Hawks’ agency. He eventually ended up in a room that someone walked out of that looked interesting.
He snuck through the door and before it closed behind them and was amazed by all the things kept inside it in glass cases. But there was one in particular that caught his eye.

‘Shie Hissaikai case: Quirk Erasing Bullets’

“Huh?” Izuku blinked.
He heard someone’s voice outside the door and quickly opened the case, stashing the gun inside it in his back pocket before sneaking out of the room.

He grabbed it on impulse, maybe it would come in handy one day. After finding the interrogation rooms,
He waited until Shoto and Hawks turned around to climb in the vent, but he was no match for Hawks’ fierce wings.

“Shoto-kun, you don’t check your surroundings often, do you?” Before Izuku knew it, he was pulled from the vent with one of Hawks’s feathers.
“Midoriya, what are you doing here?!” Shoto gasped.

“Um… I…” Izuku took a deep breath and looked at all of Kacchan’s former friends in the windows. “I want to know what they have to say for themselves! I-I know you wouldn’t tell me everything! I need to hear it myself!”
“Well you’re already here.” Hawks sighed. “No use kicking you out now. Just be prepared, guilty people hardly admit to their crimes. And their lies are some times far more infuriating than the truth.”

He turned on the sound in Aizawa’s room.

“I’m telling you!” Denki gestured.
“I have no clue what they are talking about! There was never any invitation! I’ve hardly said a word to Midoriya!”

“We have witnessed that you pulled him outside of class, Kaminari!” Aizawa seethed.

“Well then they’re misremembering! It never happened!”
Hawks turned off the volume and turned on the volume in Kirishima’s room.

“Yeah, we pulled him out of class because Ashido wanted to apologize for what happened in our Hero Course! She was worried he would think it wasn’t an accident! But we didn’t say anything about a party!”
Hawks turned off Kirishima’s volume and turned up Ashido’s.

“Kaminari already told us everything, you know.” Lemillion smiled. “So just tell me your side of things.”

“If Kaminari told you everything then you know there was never any party! No invitation! It’s all fake!”
Ashido insisted.

“Why would Midoriya fake send his boyfriend to an awful place like that?” Mirio questioned.

“I don’t know! Ask him! But we had nothing to do with it!”

Hawks turned her off and turned on Jiro and Momo.

“You’re serious?” Jiro laughed.
“Yes, I am!” Momo giggled. “I think Todoroki-San is very handsome!”

“What’s she doing?” Shoto questioned.

“She already has her trust. Creati is doing her best to keep it and start a conversation without her realizing it’s an interrogation.”
Hawks explained.

“Well I’m happy for you.” Jiro smiled.

“You know, Jiro-San… I had feelings for you at one point.” Momo admitted.

“You did?” Jiro blinked.

“Yes, but you never did get over Bakugo-San, did you?” Momo said sadly.

“I-it was hard to.” Jiro grumbled.
“Every time we have band practice, I expect him to kick the door open and ask what the hell we’re doing lazing around…” She said sadly.

“I know what you mean…” Momo sighed. “Forgive me, I’m supposed to be asking you about the Music Menace!” She laughed.
“What a terrible name for a villain!” Jiro stuck her tongue out.

“You really don’t know anything about him?”

“Nothing at all!” Jiro shook her head.

“I heard his last spot was the old karaoke building. He didn’t realize it was closed!”
“Wh-what old karaoke building?” Kyoka asked nervously.

“The one we used to go to all the time first year! Before it closed down just before the winter? Don’t you remember? We have so many good memories there!” Momo grabbed her hand.
“No.” Jiro began to shut down. “I-I don’t really remember it.”

“It might take her awhile to warm her up a bit more.” Hawks switched to Fatgum and Kirishima.

“I’m telling you! We had no reason at all to want to hurt Midoriya! We were happy Bakugo was happy!”
“With a quirkless omega?” Fatgum asked exasperatedly. “That had to bother you, right? You must have been concerned.”

“He’s just riling him up so he tells the truth.” Hawks explained to Izuku.

“I mean yeah, they were a match made in purgatory, but if it’s what Bakugo wanted…”
“A match made in purgatory?” Fatgum laughed.

“Come on, you’ve seen the guy! He’s cute and everything! But for Bakugo? I always saw him as finding someone, I don’t know as great as him.”

“Like yourself? I think you two would have made a good match.” Fat Gum pried.
Shoto reached to change it but Izuku stopped him.

“You don’t need to spare my feelings!” He insisted. “Just pretend I’m not here… I can handle it.”

“You’re kind, Shoto-kun.” Hawks smiled. “But Midoriya knows what he signed up for when he followed you.”
Shoto looked at Izuku in concern as heard Kirishima’s answer.

“Honestly anyone would have been better for Bakugo than him. I mean, look what happened?!”

“Yeah, we’re still not clear on that part.” Fatgum shook his head. “Bakugo and another witness attested that invite was real”
“B-Bakugo was feral for two years! I bet Midoriya made that invitation up! He lured him to that karaoke place! Not us!”

“Kirishima…” Fatgum‘s cherry demeanor turned into a frown. “I didn’t say anything about a karaoke place.”
Hawks and Shoto were startled by Mina slamming her hands on the table and going off on Mirio. Hawks turned off Eijiro’s audio and turned on hers.

“I’M TELLING YOU! MIDORIYA WAS CREEPT AND WEIRD! I WOULD NEVER INVITE HIM ANYWHERE! STOP ASKING ME QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS!”
Hawks looked around the room and noticed everyone getting worked up so he turned the volume on on everyone.

“Of course I loved him!” Jiro cried. “I was the only one who truly did! That’s why I invited Midoriya to that bar! But it was supposed to be empty! It was just a joke!”
“I wasn’t even really friends with Bakugo! Sensei, do I really look like the kind of person who would get along with someone like him?!” Kaminari laughed exaggeratedly.

“I thought you did?! Most parties are held at karaoke rooms, okay? I just assumed!” Eijiro tried to cover.
“If Midoriya just went to the so called party then none of this would have happened! He’s the one who threw Bakugo to wolves! Whatever happened to him is Midoriya’s fault, okay?!” Mina snapped.

“Ashido, we know it was you. Kaminari-”

“Didn’t say anything you can use in court!”
Izuku began shaking at all the hate that was still filled in their hearts. They hadn’t changed any of them. None of them were remorseful for their actions.

“Look…” Jiro looked nervously around. “You wanna know what I think? I think Midoriya knew what was waiting for Bakugo…”
“Because I heard them once… being intimate and stuff … and Midoriya sounded just like the prostitutes you hear on TV. Maybe he was apart of that awful thing you said was waiting for Bakugo. Maybe he still works for them… maybe he’s leading you to a trap…”
“I mean what other use to the world does he have?!”

Izuku stood up, shaking in anger. “I think I’ve heard enough… I’m sorry Todoroki… I’ll wait for you in the car…” He ran outside and tried to catch his breath. They had no remorse. No empathy. And they were all heroes.
On the way to the car, he accidentally ran into someone.

“Oh I’m sorr-”

“Oh… hi there.” An alpha looked at him with an all too familiar hunger. Izuku felt his blood run cold and his heart race. He hadn’t really interacted with alphas that weren’t heroes since Middle School.
“Um, I’m sorry…” Izuku repeated as he kept his head down. He was frightened. He didn’t know anything about this person or their intentions or their quirk. The heroes were inside. Kacchan was home. This was the real world. The real world he had never really been a part of.
“Don’t apologize, beautiful.” The alpha tilted his head up. “Maybe it’s fate we ran into each other…”

“I’m mated!” Izuku pushed him away. “My alphas strong!” He felt pathetic saying that. He hated how scared he sounded.

“Hey, calm down… I’m not gonna hurt you…”
“But if your alpha really cared, they wouldn’t let a pretty thing like you out by yourself..” He grabbed Izuku’s wrist, making him cry.

“Calm down, sweetheart, I’m just writing down my number.” He popped open a sharpie.

“LEAVE HIM ALONE, TAKEI!”
Another alpha punched him with his stretchy arms then pulled him back.

“Sorry, Angel. I’ll keep him away from you. Gosh, you’re so pretty! What’s your name?”

Unbelievable. Wasn’t he just trying to save him from his friend doing the same thing?
Izuku felt paralyzed. Was this what the world was really like? Was it really this difficult to even cross the street?

“Go away…” Izuku pulled the gun out, making the alpha scream and hold his hands up. “GET AWAY FROM ME!”

The alphas panicked and ran as far away as possible.
Izuku sighed when the coast was clear then sat in the car and locked all the doors and covered himself with a blanket, hiding himself like he was a valuable item and not a person. He wondered if he should go back inside and continue to listen to how worthless he was…
Or if he should just wait for Shoto and risk someone breaking in and taking him somewhere awful like Kacchan experienced. He began to miss the lighthouse. Was that really the answer? Being locked away in a tower away from everyone? He held the gun to his chest.
“Please don’t take long Todoroki…”

After four more hours, Izuku fell asleep and was awoken by a loud slam on the window. He jolted awake and was relieved to see Kacchan on the other side in a hoodie and a mask.

Izuku looked around frantically. No one should see him.
He opened the door and let the alpha in.

“What are you doing here?!” Katsuki interrogated. “Do you have any idea how freaked out I was?!”

“I should be asking you that! What are you doing here?! How’d you find me?!” Izuku tucked the gun in his pants.

“Your scent, duh!”
“From that far away?!” Izuku blinked.

“You leave a damn trail wherever you go! It turns out since we’re mated, I’m really fucking sensitive to it! Why’d you leave?!” Katsuki looked scared and Izuku felt bad.

“I um.. went to get water…”
“And I heard Todoroki say he was going to listen to your friends be interviewed by the heroes! And I’m sorry but I needed to know what they had to say for themselves! I needed to know if they were really as awful as I thought!” Izuku cried.

“I’m guessing they were worse, huh?”
Izuku nodded as he buried his head in Katsuki’s chest, sobbing his eyes out.

The alpha held him close for comfort. “I’m sorry… shit, I’m sorry I ever spent time with people so shitty.”

“It’s scary, Kacchan…” Izuku hiccuped. “The world is scary…”
“I know…” Katsuki kissed him when suddenly the door opened and Izuku was ripped away from him.

“WHO ARE YOU?!” Shoto screamed before recognizing Katsuki’s eyes through his hoodie and relaxing. “Oh… it’s you… what are you doing here?!”
“I’ll tell you when you give me BACK MY FUCKING MATE!” Katsuki screamed.

“S-Sorry…” Shoto let Izuku go who scurried back in the car.

“You two need to stay here next time!” Shoto scolded Izuku and Katsuki as he walked them back to the garden house.
“Sorry…” Izuku pouted.

“I’m not staying here if my mate is suddenly missing! It’d be nice if we had phones or something to communicate with each other!” Katsuki scolded Shoto back.

“Sorry! I’ll get you some!” Shoto sighed.
“What happened to them?” Izuku questioned. “To Kacchan’s friends…”

“Ex friends!” Katsuki seethed.

“They’ll get what’s coming to them… eventually.” Shoto said angrily.

“What do you mean eventually?!” Izuku said angrily.

“We didn’t have enough to arrest them.”

“HOW?!”
“Unfortunately lying isn’t a crime… and Jiro is insisting she still has no idea what was waiting for Bakugo in the karaoke room.” Shoto shook his head.

“BULLSHIT! THAT ROOM WAS SET UP LIKE A PARTY!” Katsuki screamed. “AND ONE OF THOSE ASSHOLES SAID SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR NIECE!”
“THEY WERE EXPECTING IZUKU! HE WAS SET UP!”

“I know, but unfortunately without the body of the uncle, we can’t-”

“So they’re going to get away with it?!” Izuku cried.

“No! We have bigger guns to use against them! We just to wait!” Shoto assured him.
“This isn’t over yet! This is just the initial interrogation! You would have learned about this in second year Bakugo but this is actually useful and a good thing-”

Shoto rambled on but Izuku couldn’t hear anything else he was saying. He felt hopeless.
If there was one thing that was clear watching those interviews… it was the hatred he felt through all those windows. Even Fatgum’s strategy to get Kirishima to talk felt a little too real. Maybe the heroes didn’t care…
Maybe they all agreed with Ashido, and if he just went to the party like he was meant to… nothing would have been exposed. He would have died with that secret. All the heroes could keep smiling like nothing was wrong. Kacchan could have been a hero…
“The world doesn’t want me in it, huh?” Izuku didn’t realize he voiced out loud.

“That’s not true!” Shoto and Katsuki said at the same time.

“We’ll get them Midoriya!” The pro hero assured him.

“I’ll kill them if I have to!” Katsuki insisted.
“I already did it when feral! What’s four more damn bodies?!”

Izuku laughed before sighing. “Kacchan, you didn’t kill anyone.”

“Huh?” Katsuki blinked.

“Even as feral as you were, you showed restraint. But those so called heroes didn’t. They wanted to hurt you for the glory..”
“I couldn’t have that. You have me a gun that stuns people to protect myself… I used it to protect you and I ended those heroes lives. I shot them and let them drown. You’re still a hero, Kacchan! And I’m-”

“Shut it!” Katsuki kissed him. “Shut your damn mouth!”
“You’re more heroic than any of those assholes! You always have been! Always will be! Having power doesn’t make you a damn hero! Look at them! They were all gifted quirks and what did they use it for?? Nothing! They outsourced me to their damn uncle! Sick bastards!”
“Look at me, Izuku..” Katsuki grabbed his face. “The world is a better place with you in it! Whether they like it or not!”

“I’ll get justice for both of you!” Shoto swore. “If it’s the last thing I do!”

Later that night, Shoto set up a nice hot bath for the two of them.
Izuku felt like he needed it after the day he had. He went to remove his clothes in the closet and froze when he grabbed the gun from his pants. He almost forgot about it. He stared at it for a long moment.

‘Quirk erasing bullets’

“I wonder…”
TBC 🔫
Izuku woke up in the middle of the night and stared at his mate’s pretty face as he held him tight to his chest. Kacchan’s hand right hand was stuck in his curls, and his left hand was squeezing his waist tight. Izuku sighed as he felt bad about scaring him earlier.
He impulsively followed Shoto to Hawks’ agency and didn’t think about how Kacchan would feel waking up in an unfamiliar room without Izuku by his side. Everything must be confusing and terrifying enough for him as it is. Imagine losing two years of your life like that…
Izuku traced his cheek with him thumb and lightly kissed him on the lips. He loved him… but he couldn’t let what those old classmates of him did go. It was sickening. Izuku was used to being hated, and cast aside, and seen as useless or worthless,
but he wasn’t used to pure evil. Izuku couldn’t be a hero as much as he wanted to. So he had no experiences with villains. He didn’t know evil. Never faced it. And he faced it twice that day. Once in the interrogation room. Once outside. Evil people shouldn’t have quirks…
Maybe everyone was right, and Izuku was worthless and didn’t deserve to live, but neither did evil… evil should disappear, never to be seen again.

Izuku shoved his thoughts down as Kacchan started hyperventilating. Another nightmare. He had them often in the lighthouse.
“Kacchan…” Izuku said soothingly. “Wake up, it’s okay…”

Katsuki began to cry and Izuku quickly nibbled on his scent gland and pinched his arm, causing the alpha to jolt up.

“Izuku!!! Shit…” Katsuki looked around the room, trying to take in his surroundings.

“I’m here..”
Izuku gently wiped his tears with his thumb and kissed him slowly. “It was just a dream… whatever it was, it wasn’t real…”

Katsuki looked at him sadly and squeezed him tight, before kissing his head. “Yeah it was… it was… I saw you in that place! I saw you!”
“It might not have been real now! But places like that are real! And the thought of you ending up in one of them…” Katsuki sobbed as he cried into his hair.

“I won’t! It’s okay, you’ll protect me like you always do!” Izuku assured him. “You and Todoroki and the other heroes..”
“I don’t know which heroes we can even trust!” Katsuki screamed. “There were heroes there, Deku! Teachers! People you’re supposed to trust who don’t even consider you a person!” His voice cracked. “I can’t be with you everywhere you go! That’s not fair to you!”
Izuku felt awful that he made Kacchan’s life so hard. He was so stressed about his well being. He understood more than anyone what true evil was like.

“Don’t worry about that now.” Izuku threw his arms around his neck. “I’m here now. I’m safe now. Okay?”
“I’m awful too…” Katsuki‘s heart was beating erratically as his anxiety was worsening. “I kidnapped you… I claimed you by force… it’s my fault you killed people! Deku, I’m sorry! I’m sorry!”

“Kacchan! Stop! Please stop!” Izuku begged him. “I don’t care about all that!”
“I was happy to be there for you! I was happy to protect you! And I’m so happy you’re back now! I’m happy to finally hear your thoughts even if they’re sad. I’m happy to be yours! I always have been! You’ve done nothing but keep me happy and safe! So thank you!” Izuku kissed him.
“Thank you for coming back to me…” He whispered and Katsuki couldn’t help himself as he melted into the comfort of his omega. He grabbed his face and passionately smashed their lips together, letting his taste and scent keep him grounded. Keep him sane. Keep him alive.
Izuku was relieved when the alpha fell asleep again, this time at peace. He hated seeing like this. Kacchan was traumatized and it broke Izuku’s heart. They needed to pay. All of them. Izuku just needed to find time to get away from both Kacchan and Shoto without worrying them.

“We’re going to the aquarium.” Shoto announced that weekend before handing them disguises .

“Huh?” Izuku blinked.

“Shinso isn’t coming back from the mission they need him for for awhile. I figured I could comfortably ease you back to society in the meantime.”
Izuku looked at Katsuki who seemed less than pleased with the idea.

“Do you wanna go?” He asked Izuku, before squeezing his hand as if to say ‘I’ll do it for you.’

“Um…sure.” Izuku nodded his head. Maybe Kacchan needed to get out and see the good in the world.
Aquariums were peaceful places with families and cute creatures. It would be nice to go on an actual date. They haven’t been on one in years.

“WOW! LOOK KACCHAN! THE OTTERS ARE SO CUTE!” Izuku’s eyes sparkled in delight at the sight of the sea otters playing.
Katsuki wasn’t paying attention to the animals. He was more so focused on the sheer excitement of his mate. It was a nice feeling. Izuku began to babble on and on about how otters actually smell like shit because they are in the same family as skunks.
A bunch of useless crap that the nearby children couldn’t help but pay attention to. Katsuki couldn’t help but smile at the small crowd Izuku was completely unaware was forming around him. If only he could see that he had so much to offer the world… he was the brightest light.
And Katsuki was terrified of it burning out. His eyes scanned the parents watching and couldn’t help but notice the alphas that were watching him a little too closely. Some of them married. Katsuki put his arm around him and pulled him away.

“Let’s go see the dolphins!”
“Ah! Was I talking too much?!” Izuku nervously covered his mouth.

“No. I just can’t stop thinking about the smell of those otters!” The alpha kissed him while glaring at a married one across the room who quickly looked away and grabbed his son.
Katsuki hated this feeling of uneasiness. He always saw himself as strong. But he felt weaker than ever. Like a child who was scared of anything and everything. He took Izuku to see the dolphin show and sat him on his lap. He could tell his mate really wanted him to share his joy
So Katsuki tried. He tried to focus on only the dolphins. He tried to ignore every damn alpha in the room, even Todoroki! Shoto went to hell and back for them. He did more than enough to earn their trust but Katsuki couldn't fully trust him! Why go so far?
Why help them so much? Was he really that good of a friend? Or did he want Izuku too?

"AH! KACCHAN! IT'S GANG ORCA!" Izuku pointed at the pro hero who unexpectedly leapt out of the water with the dolphins. "I can't believe they hid him so well!"
"Do you think he is also able to hold his breath underwater as long as orcas?! How amazing! Right?" Izuku laughed and Katsuki smiled softly before kissing his cheek.

"I'm more amazing! Hmph!" He sulked.

"I know, I know! But I don't think you can hold your breath that long!"
"Wanna test me?" Katsuki grabbed his face and angrily made out with him.

"Guys, there's kids here..." Shoto pointed out.

"Mama! Why don't you kiss daddy like that!" A small girl pointed at them.

"We're not that young, dear! Now watch the dolphins!"
Izuku giggled in embarrassment while Shoto sighed.

"If I had an omega that looked like that, I'd kiss him everywhere too." The woman's teenage son whispered loudly to his friend, making Katsuki's blood boil.

"THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY?!"
"Uh..." The boy stuttered.

"I'm sorry! Please ignore him!" The mother stood between them. "It's just teenage hormones!"

"WELL LET ME TEACH HIM A TEENAGE LESSON!" Katsuki was about to let out and explosion before Shoto grabbed him by the collar and dragged him and Izuku away.
Izuku looked on sadly as the dolphins got further and further away.

Katsuki stared at the paper towel dispenser in the restroom and punched it, breaking it. Nowhere was safe. NOWHERE!

"Bakugo!" Shoto rushed in. "I'm sorry about that kid, I-"
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! GO WATCH IZUKU!" Katsuki seethed.

"He had to use the restroom too! I can't go into the omega ones!" Shoto put his hand on his shoulder. "Are you alright? Should we go home?"

"No..." Katsuki looked sadly at the floor.
Izuku was happy. He was finally smiling and laughing and mumbling like normal and Katsuki ruined it. He should have just ignored that stupid kid, but how could he?!

"Bakugo, you're crying." Shoto pointed out. "I'm sorry. This was all too soon."

"Don't apologize..."
Katsuki sniffled. "Don't you see how happy he is?! Why can't... why can't he be happy and safe?! It's not fair! It's bullshit!"

"It is!" Shoto put his hands on both his shoulders. "You're right to feel this way! You're not crazy! The world is bullshit! But it's also-"
"Bakugo?" Iida Tenya gasped as he entered the bathroom.
-
-
"D-Deku?" Ochaco cried when she saw Izuku in the restroom, washing his face.

"Uraraka?" Izuku's eyes watered. It had been so long since he had seen a friend. A friend he was sure wouldn't hurt him.
-

-
"I am an awful mate!" Iida cried as Shoto and Katsuki confirmed everything Ochaco told him was true. They all went to Tenya's house to explain the turn of events in privacy. Ochaco and Izuku went to the guest room to catch up and the alphas sat in the living room.
"I should have believed her! I should have watched our other classmates more closely! Bakugo, I'm so sorry! I had no idea what those monsters were capable of?! They are disgrace to Class A! A disgrace to heroes! They must be stripped of their careers immediately!"
"Stripped of their lives more like it..." Katsuki grumbled, expecting to be scolded by the ever uptight class president, but Tenya grabbed his hand instead.

"I have the half the mind to do it myself!" He growled.

"We have to make a stand!" Shoto insisted.
"If they get killed, they'll just become martyrs. We need the law to recognize what they've done! We need things to change! And we need everyone to see that Bakugo is no villain! They are!"

"You're right.." Tenya sighed. "We must show restraint. For the greater good!"

"Bullets that erase quirks?" Ochaco blinked after Izuku told her what he discovered.

"I'm not sure if it actually works..." Izuku grumbled. "I haven't tested it.."

"We have to try!" Ochaco grabbed his hands desprately.

"We?! I don't want to get you involved!"
Izuku gasped.

"Deku-kun, for years I've been tortured by the thought of what they could have possibly done to Bakugo... what they wanted to do to you!" She cried. "It's filled my stomach with nothing but anger and bitterness! Let me join you! Let's do this!"
“Are you sure?! If we get caught…” Izuku said shakily.

“If we get caught then the world will know.” Ochaco smirked devilishly. “Omegas are a lot more terrifying than they think…”

“Right…” Izuku smirked back. “The world should know… we’re not to be messed with anymore.”

Three Days Later

Izuku melted into the warm embrace of his mother. Todoroki figured it was time he looped her in to what was going on. Kacchan was too ashamed to face her himself, but Izuku wasn’t going to try and convince him. Afterall, this was his one opportunity.
“Shoto-kun… thank you!” Inko sobbed. “Thank you so much!”

“I hope you understand I’ll need him back tomorrow.” Shoto said sadly. “It’s best him and Bakugo stay with me until we have enough evidence to arrest the four responsible.”

“I can’t believe they would do this!”
Inko said angrily. “How could future heroes go so far to hurt my baby!!! Oh.. Katsuki-kun… Poor Katsuki… I wish he was here! I wish I could thank him for protecting my Izuku! Even when feral… I owe him my life!” She cried as she stroked Izuku’s hair over and over.
“This has all been the hardest on him…” Shoto informed her. “It’s a lot to process.”

“I couldn’t even imagine. I’m having a hard time processing this too…” She sniffled. “To think… to think what could have happened if it wasn’t for him!”

“Don’t think about it…”
Izuku whispered. “Kacchan’s the one who actually experienced the worst of it.”

His mother looked at his face and caressed his cheeks before smiling. “I haven’t heard your voice in so long… look at your hair… we should cut it!”

“If you want..” Izuku smiled at her.
“I’ll leave you two alone then.” Shoto bowed. “I’ll be back tomorrow, Midoriya.”

“Thank you, Todoroki!” Izuku waved at him. “For everything!” He should apologize for what he was about to do. But he hoped he wouldn’t get caught.

“Please give this to Katsuki!”
Inko grabbed a sweater from the closet that once belonged to Izuku’s sire.

“I want him to know he’s family now.” Inko sniffled. “He’s mated to my son after all. He’s more than welcome to call this home anytime!”

“I’ll pass the message along.” Shoto bowed.
(A/N: Since it’s been awhile since I last updated, I figured I should do this! If you haven’t joined us yet, and would like to catch up, top of thread is below!)
After Shoto left, Izuku was glad to spend the day with his mother. Afterall, he hadn’t seen her in two years. He missed her touch, her voice, her smile, he comforting scent. He had half the mind to not use this chance to sneak away from her. But he had to do this! For Kacchan!
“There! Look at you!” Inko beamed after cutting Izuku’s hair back to its former length. “All fresh!”

“Thanks mom. I feel ten pounds lighter.” Izuku giggled.

“I can’t believe you grew up so fast…” She traced his claiming bite which was far more visible now.
“When you were little, you used to run around saying you were going marry Kacchan! You two used to fight over who was going to be the alpha.” She giggled. “You two should have been able to do this the right way. You should have had a normal life…”

“Mom…” Izuku grabbed her hand
“I wasn’t born normal.”

“It doesn’t matter!” She cried. “You were born perfect! Because you were born my Izuku! And that’s enough, okay??” She wrapped her arms around him. “That’s enough…”

Izuku smiled as tears poured down his own face. “Thank you…”

Katsuki looked at the sweater Shoto gave him and brought it to his nose. It smelled like Izuku’s house. Memories flickered through his mind and he couldn’t help the tears that welled in his eyes. Damnit, happy days seemed so damn far away.

“She’s really grateful!”
Shoto assured him.

“She shouldn’t be..” Katsuki huffed. He remembered when he first saw this sweater as a little tike. He used to run around with it because he thought it was cool and it swallowed him whole. It was way too big on him and used to drag on the floor.
Auntie used to scold him because it belonged to Izuku’s sire who was working overseas. It was his favorite sweater apparently but Katsuki thought he should lose the rights to it since he was never home anyway. He couldn’t help but laugh at himself.
“Why shouldn’t she be?” Shoto pressed him. “You saved Midoriya by going to that party instead. You may have gone too far when you went feral but nobody blames you for that Bakugo! All you wanted to do was keep him safe!”

“I still want him safe!” Katsuki snapped.
“I’m a fucking nervous wreck even though he’s with his mom! I can’t stand being away from him! Damnit, I can’t stand when he’s even one room away! How is he supposed to live with that?! How is he supposed to be happy with someone like me who wants him forever by my side!”
“Is he by your side right now?!” Shoto questioned. “Did you protest him at all seeing his mother?! Did you protest him spending hours in separate room with Uraraka?! No! Because despite what you want, you’re a great alpha! You give him space when he needs it even-”
“when you need him by your side the most! He’s happy with you! He always has been! Healing isn’t going to happen overnight, Bakugo! But you’ve barely been yourself for a week and you’re giving him more than enough freedom! Give yourself a break! You deserve it!”
Katsuki clicked his tongue and looked away. “You think he’ll be fine tonight?”

“Absolutely.” Shoto smiled.

Katsuki looked at the sweater then slowly put it on. “Well?”

“It fits perfect!” Shoto pointed out. They were interrupted by the doorbell. Katsuki quickly stormed away.
“Wait!” Shoto called for him as he looked at his doorbell camera on his phone. “It’s just Iida.”

“The hell is he doing here?” Katsuki questioned.

“I don’t know.” Shoto opened the door to see his longtime friend with a pack of sodas and snacks.
“Todoroki! I hope you and Bakugo are up for some bonding activities!” Tenya greeted.

“Bonding?” Shoto blinked.

“My wife suggested we should warm Bakugo up to hanging around others again and not have everything be so heavy. I thought it was a wonderful idea!” He whispered.
“Right… yes. We should bond.” Shoto shrugged.

“I brought movies and snacks!” Tenya grinned.

“Sounds great.” Shoto turned to Bakugo. “Lets have some fun.”

Katsuki clicked his tongue in annoyance. But if it was just them two, he could tolerate a few terrible movies.
Maybe it would get his mind off of Izuku’s safety for just a little bit. He was with his mom. He was one hundred percent safe.

“Wow! You’re back to your old self!” Uraraka smiled at Izuku’s haircut.

“Not completely…” Izuku blushed.
“Do you have it?” Ochaco raised her brow.

“Right here.” Izuku pulled out the gun. “Do you have her?”

“Right in here…” Ochaco opened the closet to reveal Jiro’s body with blood seeping her out of her mouth and her limbs snapped making Izuku wince.
“I thought you were gonna poison her..” He said shakily.

“She wasn’t thirsty. Dropping her was faster.” Ochaco shrugged.

“That makes sense…” Izuku stared at her and felt awful. Because the more evidence he found of her suffering, the bigger his smile got.
“Let’s start the show then.” He shuddered in absolute glee.

“The others should be here soon.” Ochaco grabbed his hands.

“I can’t wait to see them!” Izuku giggled.

Kirishima was happy to get his mind off of that ongoing investigation of what happened to Bakugo.
Honestly, the whole thing made him a little sick. He knew something bad happened but he didn’t know the extent of it. Trafficking?! That day he really did plan to save Izuku. But when he saw him in the living room watching tv, he thought he had nothing to worry about.
When Katsuki lost his marbles, he felt awful but self preservation kicked in. It wasn’t his fault! This wasn’t his fault! He shouldn’t get in trouble for it! If it was anyone’s fault, it was Midoriya’s. If he wasn’t so weak… if he didn’t seduce Katsuki,
then none of this would have happened. Kirishima wasn’t about to lose his career over this! He wasn’t about to go to prison! He wasn’t a villain! He was a hero! He tried to save Midoriya! He did! He did everything he could. As far as Eijiro was concerned, his hands were clean.
This party Iida invited him too was more than a welcome distraction. A murder mystery! Among a bunch of heroes and classmates from Class A? It should be a lot of fun! He fixed the tie he was wearing after he parked the car in the driveway.
When he walked inside, he was surprised to only see Kaminari and Ashido.

“Hey guys! I thought I was late!” He laughed.

“Yeah, we were getting worried for Iida there that no one else wanted to come to his party!” Mina sighed. “Everyone is so busy these days!”
Kaminari chugged the sparkling grape juice juice he was given with his name on it and handed the one with Kirishima’s name to him.

“You guys… what do we do if Jiro walks through that door next?” He asked nervously.

“What do you mean?” Mina rolled her eyes.
“Well… don’t you think it’s strange? Iida’s not here… he left instructions on the card for us but.. it’s been half an hour and it’s just us 3?” Kaminari questioned. “Literally nobody else is here!”

“You’re overthinking it!” Mina whispered. “Stop talking about it!”
“It’s only natural for him to be anxious..” Kirishima whispered. “Todoroki and Iida are close! Who knows what he may have told him?”

“Iida is a straight up person!” Mina reminded them. “If he wanted to ask us, he would ask-”

They were interrupted by the sound of a gunshot.
“Ah!” Eijiro grabbed his arm.

“Ei!” Mina shrieked.

“You alright?!” Denki questioned.

“Yeah… I’m fine…” Eijiro removed his hand and braced for the worst but sighed in relief when all he saw a tiny needle. “What the hell, Iida?!” Eijiro removed it. “I guess I’m the dead guy!”
They heard another shot and then another as Kaminari and Mina both screamed in pain.

“Ow!!! That hurt Iida!!!” Mina shreiked.

“Ah…” Kaminari whined. “Guys, why is this starting now?” The room began to spin.

“Calm down sweetie, it’s just a game.” Mina sighed.

“No…”
Denki began to hyperventilate. “We’re the only ones here! Why is the game starting?”

“Relax! It’s probably because everyone else couldn’t make it!” Kirishima held out his hand when suddenly he got extremely sleepy. “What the hell?”

“Is anyone else… feeling weird?” Mina asked.
“I…” Kaminari began to say before he suddenly passed out.

“Denki!” Mina began to walk toward her boyfriend when she passed out.

“Guys!” Kirishima looked around. He was still awake. But he got shot first? Why was he still awake? He looked down at his drink and gasped.
The drink must have beef drugged! If that’s the case.. what were the bullets for?

“Iida… this is kinda…” The drugs kicked in at full force. “This is kinda…” Before he knew, he was on the floor. “Crazy…”

Eijiro woke up dizzy as hell and cold.
His arm was also in a lot of pain. It stung.. fuck, it hurt!!! He turned his head toward it and slowly drifted he eyes open to see a phrase carved out of it.

‘Quirkless’

“HUH?!” Eijiro jolted up and hyperventilated as he tried to figure out where he was.
Outside, in a pit of some sort? He was surrounded by dirt and..

“AHHHHHHHHH!” Mina shrieked.

“What is it?!” Eijiro ran to her and Kaminari’s side who were looking down at something.

“What’s- OH MY GOD!”

Jiro’s laid on the ground, dead and completely broken.

“Hi guys!”
Izuku’s voice startled them as they looked up at the omega waving from the top of the pit.

“Long time no see!” He said chipperly. “I know it’s been a couple of years but I’m finally here for that party you invited me to!” He giggled. “We’re gonna have lots of fun!”
TBC 🪦
Eijiro and the others looked down at their dead friend in shock before slowly looking up at the happy omega who was smiling so fondly at them.

“D-did you do this?” Mina gulped. “H-how? How?! You’re quirkless! She-”

“The question you should be asking isn’t how I killer her…”
Izuku said in a song songy voice. “It’s how you can stop from meeting the same fate?”

“MIDORIYA!” Mina reached up to shoot her acid at him and froze. “Huh?” Her quirk wasn’t working. “HUH?!”

“Look at your arm, Ashido-San. I was very clear.” Izuku said darkly.
Eijiro began to panic.
‘Quirkless…’

Quirkless!

The bullets!

“What did you do?!” Eijiro tried to go full unbreakable but his body wouldn’t do what it was meant to.

“Release!” A female voice said as a pile of dirt fell into the pit.

“AH!” The three screamed before coughing.
“What the hell?! What hell is going on?! Ah!” Denki pointed his fingers at Izuku. “AHHHHH!!! AAAAAH!!! Ah!” He attempted over and over and over to use his electricity until he started crying.

“Come on hero, stop crying.” Izuku insisted. “It’s kind of pathetic.”

“Release!”
Ochaco dropped another pile of dirt into the pit.

“What do you want from us?!” Mina shrieked. “We had nothing to do with-”

Suddenly Ochaco dropped another pile on just her.

“Ah!”

“Stop lying to me!” Izuku shouted. “You all hurt Kacchan!”
“The only one who hurt him is you!” Denki pointed his finger at him, still attempting to use the quirk he no longer had. “If you had just gone to that party! Then you would be dead and he would be happy!”

“That might be true!” Izuku began to cry. “But he never wanted that!”
“I may have been born wrong!” He sniffled. “I may have lost the genetic lottery! But despite all that, Kacchan still loves me! Kacchan still wanted to keep me safe! He’s amazing! And you all made him go through something awful! Something I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy!”
“Release!”

Another pile of dirt was dropped in on them.

“What the hell is this?! You’re just going to take out quirks?! Dirty our clothes?! Humiliate us??” Mina screamed. “It’s not going to make it better, Midoriya!”

“You really I want to humiliate you?” Izuku laughed.
“Look at you, so full of yourselves. So confident that everything will turn out okay in the end. All because you were born with strong quirks… the world must be so much less scary for you.” Izuku sighed. “But you’re about to find out how awful reality is…”

“Release!”
A much larger pile of dirt dropped over them, filling the pit to their ankles.

“Look.” Izuku pointed to where Jiro’s body lay, which was now covered by the dirt. “She got what she deserved by someone weaker than her. But so much smarter than her.”
“So tell me heroes, are you going to meet the same fate as her?” Izuku smirked as more dirt fell into the pit.

“What the hell?!” Denki shrieked. “Are you planning on burying us… alive?!”

“Is that a problem, Kaminari-kun?” Izuku pondered. “You don’t have your quirk anymore.”
“By your logic… and yours… and yours, Kirishima-kun!” Izuku pulled a real gun with bullets he had taken from his mom’s house and pointed at all three of them. “That means you don’t deserve a peaceful happy life.”

“Y-you deserve to live, Midoriya!” Eijiro groveled.
“I never thought you deserved to die! You remember seeing me, right?! That night! In the common area! I was on my way to stop you from going to that party! I tried to save you! These three didn’t care! But I did! I had know idea Bakugo was already there! If I did-”
“Traitor! Trying to save your own skin?!” Mina shrieked.

“Not very manly!” Denki charged at him in anger when Izuku fired off the gun in the air, making them all scream.

“You all don’t get it.” He sighed. “I don’t care what you tried to do to me.”
“I would have much gone through that then Kacchan…” Izuku said shakily. “I love him! I know I don’t deserve him like you guys think! You’re right about that! But I can’t help it! He makes me happy! So… so it makes me angry that the reason this all started…”
“Is because each and every one of you wanted him for yourself…” Izuku seethed before Uraraka dropped another pile of dirt on them. “You really thought taking me out of the picture was going to help you get your grubby hands all over him?!”
“Well it was never going to work! I may not have been born with a quirk, but I have something even better! I have his whole heart! And that’s something none of you will ever get!” Izuku proclaimed as Ochaco dropped enough dirt to cover their torso’s.
“Who is doing this?!” Mina cried. “Iida’s little wife?!”

“Why is she helping you?! We didn’t do anything to her! Ochaco-Chan! Stop this-” Denki began to yell before a rock fell on his head. “AHHH!”

“She’s here not just for me… but for all the omegas you looked down on!”
Izuku seethed. “How could you send Kacchan some place so awful and not do anything about the omegas he saved!”

“That was all Jiro!” Mina cried. “It was her! Who’s dead okay?! You got your revenge! You can keep Bakugo! You already took our quirks! Just get us out of here!”
“No.” Izuku shook his head. “I’ll tell you what, though. If you get yourselves out, without your power, I’ll let you live.”

“Release!” More dirt fell, as they desperately tried to dig themselves out.

“Good luck. Uraraka seems angry.” Izuku shrugged then walked away.
“WAIT! MIDORIYA!” Mina screamed.

“This is all your fault…” Denki shakily pointed at his girlfriend. “GET US OUT OF HERE! IT’S YOUR FAULT!”

“MY FAULT??” Mina scoffed. “YOU’RE THE ONE WHO ANGERED MIDORIYA WHEN HE’S OUR ONLY WAY OUT!”

“He’s not our only way, guys!”
Kirishima said desperately. “We can still get out of here even without our quirks! I know we can!” He began to dig his way to the edge of the pit when more dirt was dropped on them. “We just have to climb… the edges!”
“It’s can’t be that hard!” He put his hands in the dirt and tried to pull himself up but he just caused more dirt to fall in the pit. Without hardening his fingers, he had no way to get a firm grip. “Damnit!” He cried as he pulled more and more dirt down on himself.
“Stop! You’re making it worse! AHHHH!” Denki shrieked as more dirt was dropped down and enough fell into his mouth, making him choke. He coughed out as much as he could and that’s when he realized how horrifying the next few hours were about to be. He was going to suffer.
“W-we can climb on top of each other!” Mina said desperately. “You’re both tall enough! I-if you climb on Ei! And I climb on you! I can climb up and get help! I can get a hero!!!” She said hopefully. “Come on! Let’s do it! It’s our only way!”

More dirt dropped in the pit.
Denki cursed himself and dug himself over to Kirishima. “It’s will work…” He cried. “We’re definitely tall enough! This has to work!” He climbed on top of Eijiro who remained standing tall due to the dirt caking him in. Then Mina dug herself out of the dirt and climbed on Denki
“Okay… okay!” She cried as she climbed out of the pit. She then looked at her surroundings desperately. She was in Iida’s backyard. Ochaco looked her dead in the eye and dropped more dirt in the pit.

“H-he said he’d let me live if I got out, right?!” Mina sniffled.
Ochaco rolled her eyes as she touched more dirt with her hands, making it float. It was a large pile, enough to knock the other two down.

“Mina!” Denki reached his hand up. “Pull me up, babe! Please!”

Mina looked down at him and remembered all the good times they had.
“Sorry babe…” She whimpered as she clutched her hand to her chest. “But maybe now that I’m quirkless, I’ll be Katsuki’s type…” She was about to turn and run when Izuku shot her in the head.

“MINAAAAAAAA!” Denki screamed in agony and Izuku shoved her back down in the pit.
“I really…” Izuku shuddered as tears poured down his face. “I really thought maybe you would change.” He sniffled. “Maybe you all would realize how wrong you were! But you still are all so… evil! You’re all so selfish! And you’re supposed to be heroes! It’s scary!”
“Uraraka, I’ve had enough!” He shrieked as Ochaco released the large pile in the pit, filling it all the way up to Denki and Eijiro’s throats.

“AHHH!” Denki sobbed. “Please! Midoriya! This isn’t you! You’re sweet! You’re kind! Please! Please! I don’t want to die this way!”
Eijiro managed to did his head out of the dirt to get air in his lungs before coughing profusely. “Th-that’s why Bakugo loves you, right?” He cried. “Because you’re better than this! Because you’re… you’re a hero! You can be our hero! Please! Save us!”
Izuku stared at them in pity before stretching his neck on both sides. “You’re right… I’ll save you…”

“Th-thank you!” Denki smiled in relief.

“You’re truly manly!” Eijiro sobbed.

“ONE of you.” Izuku clarified. “From your awful fate of suffocating alive buried under the dirt.
Eijiro and Denki both looked at each other, realizing there was no getting out of this alive.

Izuku pointed his gun at them. “Apologize to me! Sincerely! From the bottom of your heart! Whoever I believe, I’ll end your suffering.”
“I’m sorry!” Denki sobbed. “You’re right! I was awful! And selfish! I still am! I still said horrible things even when I had nothing! Midoriya, you deserved to be happy! I can’t call myself a hero when I almost led you to such an awful place! When I led Bakugo to such a place!”
“And I’m sorry for liking Bakugo back then! The truth is I didn’t really! I mean I enjoyed him as a friend! But I just wanted to join the fun with these guys! I wanted to get under Mina’s skin cause I liked her! I never really crushed on him! I have no excuse!”
“I ruined both your lives for no reason!”

Izuku didn’t look pleased before he turned to Kirishima and waited for him to speak.

“Midoriya… I really did try to save you..” Eijiro sniffled. “I tried to do the right thing. I’m not like these guys. When I say sorry, I mean it!”
“I’m sorry for going along with their plans! I shouldn’t have gone so far! I shouldn’t have-” Eijiro pleaded before a gunshot made him scream. He shut his eyes and was expecting to be in the afterlife, but when he opened them, he was still alive. And Denki wasn’t.
“Huh?” Ei began to shiver.

“Kirishima-kun, you still don’t know how to take any responsibility for what you’ve done. You had every opportunity to save Kacchan. To go to Aizawa and clear his name. To tell everyone the truth about what had done!” Izuku emphasized.
“You had all the information for years! And you still didn’t speak up at Hawks’ agency! You still didn’t tell them the truth to save all the omegas that are still being trafficked! To get the so-called heroes and politicians removed from their positions!”
“At least Kaminari-kun knew he didn’t do enough to earn my mercy! At least he knew he was still behaving selfishly! But you’re the worst!” Izuku cried. “You know what scariest thing about being a quirkless omega is? It’s not the ones who outright hate you!”
“It’s the ones who pretend they don’t! You wanted me to suffer just as bad! You’re only apologizing to save yourself! But now you get to suffer a fate worse then Kacchan! Die Kirishima!” Izuku threw the gun in the pit.

Eijiro looked at it desperately.
He could see the giant pile of dirt floating over the pit. Enough to bury him completely. He needed to grab the gun and end his life before she dropped it or else face an unimaginable amount of suffering. He desperately wiggled and thrashed until one of his arms was free.
“Goodbye mom..,” He cried as he grabbed the gun and pointed it at his head. “I’m sorry!” He pulled the trigger and froze. There were no more bullets left.

“RELEASE!”

“You sure you’re okay?” Ochaco questioned after Izuku got out of the shower and changed.
Izuku smiled and shrugged at her. “Do you think I’m cruel?”

“Hmmm…” Ochaco pondered what to say. “I think the world has been cruel to to you. It really shouldn’t be surprised when you’ve had enough.”

“Kacchan won’t be happy I did this.” Izuku sighed exasperatedly.
“Are you gonna tell him?” Ochaco blinked in shock.

“Eventually.” Izuku smiled sadly at her. “When he feels a little better and stops blaming himself for everything. In case there is an investigation, I don’t want him to do something stupid and take the the fall for us.”
“Right… you know you’re still a good person Deku-kun.” Ochaco bumped his shoulder with her fist. “They all deserved what they got.”

“I should get home.” Izuku laughed.

“Let me walk you!” Ochaco offered.

“Isn’t that something..” Izuku mused.
“Despite ending four powerful top hero’s lives, I still need to be walked home.”

“But I think it’s a good thing!” Ochaco piped up. “The three of them together could have found a way out. If they just learned to rely on each other. If they accepted help.”
“I think it takes a really strong person to ask for help, you know? But look!” She flexed her muscles. “You have me! You have my husband! Todoroki and Bakugo! All ready to do anything for you! That’s a level of strength more than anything those three could ever hope for!”
Izuku smiled and sighed, relenting to her cheery words.

“Yeah… I really owe you all a lot!”

“You don’t owe us anything Deku-kun!” Ochaco smiled. “We’re all just happy to know you! Now come on! Before your mom asks questions!”
Izuku happily walked with her and realized there still was a long road before him and Kacchan could live in peace. They may have gotten rid of the four responsible for what happened, but they forgot to take into account how much more damage they could do dead than alive.
Izuku took a deep breath and looked up at the sky. “Look Uraraka-San! A shooting star!”

“Oh wow! Make a wish! Hurry!” Ochaco giddily closed her eyes.

Izuku clasped his hands tight and wished as hard as he could that somehow, just maybe, everything would turn out alright…

“Kacchan!” Izuku greeted his mate as he returned to Shoto’s after his weekend with his mother. Katsuki couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief that he was okay. He was safe. He survived a weekend without him.

“Yo ne-” Katsuki began to say before Izuku leapt up.
Katsuki quickly caught him by his legs before the omega kissed him excitedly.

“Mmmm… I missed you.” Izuku smiled lovingly and Katsuki couldn’t help but avert his gaze. He was so damn pretty and frustrating.

“Auntie cut your hair, huh?” The alpha laced his fingers in it.
“Yes! You noticed! I feel ten pounds lighter!” Izuku beamed. He actually felt over 400 pounds lighter but no one needed to know that.

Katsuki set him down and kissed him gently. “Well you feel like you could use a meal! Come on! I cooked lunch today!”

“Really?!”
Izuku’s eyes shined like he just won exclusive All Might napkins. “I haven’t had your cooking in ages! What did you make??”

“What do ya think?” Katsuki rolled his eyes.

“KATSUDON?!” Izuku gasped in delight. He just had his mom’s home cooked Katsudon. And now Kacchan’s?!
“Yup you spoiled brat!” Katsuki slapped his ass, making him yelp before storming back inside the house. But not too fast. He didn’t want Izuku outside by himself. God he was becoming just like society and he hated it! Izuku could handle himself but damnit.. not all the time.
He had to shove what happened down. Those monsters from the elementary school may have been real. They may have been prominent. They may have been ugly. But they weren’t everyone… there were still good people…

Half and Half for one…

And Iida was alright…
The pro heroes on the case investigated everyone seemed to genuinely care but Katsuki still couldn’t fully relax.

“Mmm… you’re wearing it!” Izuku wrapped his arms around his waist from behind and inhaled his scent after they entered the house.
The sweater may have originally belonged to Izuku’s sire, but Kacchan had worn it so much when they were kids, it now smelled like him.

“‘Course I am…” Katsuki grumbled, embarrassed. “It’s always been mine!” He huffed.

“You’re right! You’re right!” Izuku giggled, quelling him
“It just actually fits now!”

“Damn right it does!” Katsuki grabbed his hand and spun him in front of him. “How’s it look, huh?”

“Amazing!” Izuku grabbed the sweater and pulled Katsuki down before kissing him passionately. The omega couldn’t feel guilty about what he did.
He loved his alpha so much. And those four hurt him and scarred him badly. They deserved everything they got and more.

After Kacchan served him lunch and Izuku babbled away about his nice weekend with his mom, Shoto and Momo entered the house in good spirits.
“Good news!” Momo said happily. “Shinso is returning tomorrow!”

“The bastard who got in my brain?” Katsuki questioned.

“And saved you? Yes.” Shoto smiled softly. “Since he’ll be back tomorrow, we’ll be able to gather everyone involved and make them tell the truth.”
“That’s if they aren’t tipped off.” Momo sighed. “Jiro hasn’t answered my phone calls for a couple of days now, and she didn’t show up for her patrol this morning.”

Izuku played with his chopsticks nervously.

“They could be lying low in case the investigation gets leaked.”
Shoto suggested. “But if they run, it’s as good as a confession of guilt.”

“It is?” Izuku blinked.

“An innocent person has no reason to run.” Shoto informed him. “It will become an investigation of their whereabouts which will allow us to investigate other things.”
“So it’s a good thing they’re gone?” Izuku wondered allowed.

“We don’t know they ran away yet.” Momo smiled reassuringly. “We can still find them.”

“I hope they’re dead.” Katsuki slammed his fist on the table. “6 feet under where they fucking belong.”
Izuku looked at his mate and smiled sheepishly. His omega couldn’t help but preen that he fulfilled his alphas wishes without his knowledge. One day he will tell him, but not now.

“I’ll pretend I didn’t hear you say that.” Shoto sighed.

“We’ll find them.” Momo promised.
“Then we’ll get down to the bottom of all of this!”

“There’s only one bottom I wanna go down on tonight!” Katsuki exclaimed vulgarly before picking up Izuku out of his chair.

“K-KACCHAN!” Izuku blushed.
“We’ll be in the garden house. Don’t come in unless you wanna see Izuku on all f-”

“STOP!” Izuku slapped his hand over his mates mouth as Katsuki waved bye to the two before exiting the back door.

Izuku found out very quickly how serious his mate was, but he didn’t mind…
When they were done, they bathed and cuddled in their nest together.

“This house is kind of nice, don’t you think?” Izuku smiled as he traced his thumbs on Katsuki’s cheeks.

“It’s alright, I guess.” The stubborn alpha admitted. “I’m a fucking idiot…”

“Why?!” Izuku fretted.
“That fucking lighthouse, I thought was cool as shit. I spent all this time gathering things like a damn beaver to make it perfect for you and then I trapped you in it! Didn’t even get to experience it myself! I-”

Izuku kissed him fiercely. “Do you wanna sneak over there?”
“Huh?” Katsuki questioned.

“We can go tonight and sleep there if you feel like it.” Izuku giggled. “It’s not like I was traumatized by it. It still feels like home. It still feels safe to me as long you’re in there with me.”
Katsuki grabbed his hand and pulled them his lips. “Ya sure?”

“Mmhmm… I can tell you all about our time there! And we can create a new memory! Even better, no one will try and hurt you!” Izuku nodded excitedly.

Katsuki stared into his determined eyes and sighed.
“Ya really saved my ass all these years, huh?”

“I would never have left that lighthouse without you.” Izuku insisted.

“Right.” Katsuki kissed his fingers one by one. “You’re a hero through and through afterall. Let’s stay here…”
“I can check it out another time when it’s not a damn risk. It’s the least I can do for you.”

“You’ve done so much for me already!” Izuku laughed.

“We’ll go when it’s long in the past. And then you can give me a tour.” The alpha grumbled.

“That’s fair.” Izuku kissed his cheek
Katsuki ran his hands through his hair and kept him pressed to his face. He had such a good mate. It was unbelievable that he was all his. He was patient and understanding and willing to do whatever for the sake of his happiness. But Katsuki was so fucked up,
and he needed help to not be the guy he desperately wanted to become. Someone who put Izuku’s safety over his happiness. It wasn’t like Katsuki could talk to someone while this stupid investigation was going on. But he couldn’t forget, no matter how hard he tried,
the absolute horrors that were awaiting Izuku that day. Every time he closed his eyes when the omega wasn’t in his immediate grasp, he saw him in that pile of bodies. Katsuki just wanted to move on with his life already. He wanted to take Izuku on a real fucking date.
He wanted to go apartment hunting with him. He wanted to finish his studies with him. He wanted to go on a damn hike! He wanted…

“I love you…” Izuku purred as he snuggled up to his chest. “I’m really glad you’re mine…”

He wanted to feel happy again…
“Kacchan?” Izuku wiped the tears that were falling down Katsuki’s face.

“I don’t deserve you…” Katsuki sobbed in agony.

Izuku held him and let him cry, feeling the pain through their bond.

“I don’t deserve you either.” Izuku sniffled. “But aren’t you glad we have each other?”
Katsuki grabbed his face and kissed him with every ounce of joy he could muster. Damnit of course he was glad. It was the only thing he could be glad about. He needed to fix that. He knew he did. As soon as those assholes were put away, he would take Izuku to get ice cream…

Shoto, Momo, Hawks, and Fatgum sighed in frustration as they plopped down in their seats around the investigation table. It had been a whole week and it was impossible to find the four responsible for what happened to Katsuki. They just left Iida’s house and got nothing.
After gaining access to their phone logs, they discovered their last known location was his house.

“So they used his house as a meeting point?” Shoto rubbed his temples with his fingers.

“But then where did they go?!” Momo said worriedly.

“Let’s go over the facts again…”
Fatgum slammed his fist on the table.

“According to Ingenium’s wife, Earphone Jack apprehended her at a grocery store earlier that day and threatened her to do two things!” He held up two fingers. “Get Ingenium out of the house, and invite the other three over with his phone.”
“Then they went over, discussed everything at his house, left their phones behind and ran?” Hawks rubbed the back of his head.

“Why go to Ingenium’s home?” Momo questioned.

“Likely when Earphone Jack saw his wife, she saw the opportunity and took it…”
“Yeah it had to be a spur of the moment decision. Investigating all their homes? It doesn’t seem like a single clothing item was packed! No essentials! Even their support gear was just lying around!” Fatgum pointed out.

“Their bank accounts are also still full…”
Shoto said as he sifted through their financial documents. “The last thing Jiro bought were the groceries that day.”

“Their cars are missing.” Momo pointed out. “But no Highway cameras have records of their license plates.”

“They could have covered them up!”
Fatgum sighed. “I can’t believe Kirishima would run. It goes against everything I know about the guy!”

“All of this goes against what we know about them.” Shoto glared at him. “But it’s the truth. What we know? Is a lie. They wanted to do awful things to Midoriya.”
“And they did awful things to Bakugo.” Momo shook her head. “We have to redirect our search. Now that we had cause to go through Jiro’s phone records, we were able to find out more about her uncle. And look!” She pointed at his death certificate on the table.
“He died the same night Vlad Sensei did. What Bakugo thought he heard was correct!”

“Which means we have all the pieces needed to go through HIS phone and bank records.” Hawks grinned. “I’ll take this all to Tsukauchi. I know for a fact he’s not a man who would be involved.”
“What about Bakugo?” Shoto questioned. “Now that we went through everyone’s phones and found proof that all four did conspired to send Midoriya to that facility, can we announce our findings to the public?”

“We’ll have to clear it with the commission first.” Hawks shook his head
“But the fact that the four involved are in the run will make that announcement much easier to make. We’ll have everyone’s eyes looking for them.” Hawks gave him a thumbs up. “Bakugo should be cleared of any wrong doing soon!”
“Plus, once we have all the fact out there, we might have more people come forward about that facility.” Fatgum stated.

“Wouldn’t they be more hesitant about it?” Momo questioned. “Now that they know heroes are onto them?”

“The informants wouldn’t be the ones involved…”
Hawks pointed out.

“The victims then…” Shoto realized.

“The ones Bakugo saved that day.” Momo gasped. “And any survivors that managed to escape…”

“I hate to think of those four running free. But this actually helps us a lot to get things running.” Fatgum nodded.
Shoto listened intently as everyone discussed how to move things forward from here and he couldn’t help but feel hopeful that maybe, just maybe Midoriya and Bakugo could have the peaceful life they deserved.

One Month Later
“Bakugo-kun, how shocked were you when you woke up two years later discovering you went from a promising hero to a notorious villain due to your classmates crimes against you?” The reporter asked Katsuki in his first sit down interview since everything came to light.
“I was fucking devastated, what do you think?” Katsuki snapped. “Two damn years of my mates life I stole and apparently killed some pro heroes too. It’s not something I ever thought I would be capable of.”

“Obviously you weren’t yourself.”
The interviewer pointed out, “What do you have to say to the four dishonored heroes who made you this way?”

Katsuki actually took time to think about the question before looking at Izuku who was standing behind the camera.

“Fuck you all. Die.”

“That wraps up our time…”
The reporter nervously giggled. As soon as the camera stopped rolling, she sighed in relief that the interview was over. “You’re a tough interview you know? There’s only so much we can say on daytime TV! I know I’m your first one but, hey!”

Katsuki walked away toward his mate.
“I thought you were great.” Izuku giggled before tip toeing and kissing him. “The world doesn’t need a sugar coated version of how you feel.”

“Damn right they don’t. Come on.” Katsuki grabbed his hand and walked with him out of the studio where Shoto was waiting in the car.
“How was it?” Shoto questioned when they got inside.

“Annoying. How many of these do I have to do?!” Katsuki sighed in frustration.

“Just a few more to get your story out. Midoriya has his own coming up and then there’s one studio that most heroes love that wants you both.”
“Damnit.” Katsuki shook his head. “One was annoying enough.”

“At least people are listening to your story. Even the heroes you killed family’s are sympathetic to what you went through. Everyone blames them. Everyone’s anger is toward them.”
Shoto revealed. “And even better, the victims you saved came forward. We’re so close to blowing this whole thing open and taking down everyone involved.”

“Except those four bastards, right??” Katsuki growled.

“I don’t mind that as much.” Izuku sighed.
“It sucks to think about them living happily. But at least they aren’t working as heroes anymore. At least everyone knows what they did! As far as I’m concerned, they disappeared! Out of think air. They don’t have to take any more space in my mind.” He smiled.
Katsuki looked at him and narrowed his eyes.

“Alright, we’re here.” Shoto parked the car by the beach pier which had a cute ice cream shop. “Have fun.”

“Thanks Todoroki-kun!” Izuku cheered excitedly.

“Call me if anything happens!”

“Yeah yeah MOM, we will.” Katsuki teased.
Shoto waved as he watched them walk hand in hand to the pier. Then he drove to Iida’s house and met him at his smallest car garage he never really used.

“What do we do?” The emotional alpha questioned as he revealed all four cars belonging to their old friends parked inside.
Shoto looked around the cars through all the windows and zeroed in on the passenger side of Mina and Denki’s car. There were green hairs on the seat.

“We burn them.” He declared.

“And this is where we used to dry our clothes after washing them in the ocean!”
Izuku gave Katsuki a tour of the lighthouse.

“You really never got bored in here?” Katsuki sighed.

“Not really!” Izuku smiled nervously before grabbing Katsuki’s hand. “We surprisingly had fun even when you were feral. We used to swim a lot and sometimes-”
“You would go to shore and grab me some seashells and I learned how to make necklaces and jewelry! Also the omegas you saved brought us plenty of things to keep me entertained! And there was always the thing you wanted to do often…” He blushed.
“And what was that, huh?” Katsuki grabbed him by the waist and pulled him to close.

“Thing you still love to do often.” Izuku put his hands around his neck and kissed him slowly.

“Guess I should learn for myself, huh?” Katsuki slid his hand slowly down his back.
“Yeah… y-you should. I could show you the place you loved doing it the most.” Izuku led him to the closet.

“Why the closet?” Katsuki chuckled.

“There’s um… a shelf… that’s convenient…”

“Alright then, nerd, let’s test it out!” Katsuki shoved him in the closet.
After they had their fun, they layed on the closet floor and caught their breath.

“Shit, I can see a life here.” Katsuki laughed. “Must’ve been a good time.”

“Wanna move back?” Izuku questioned. “Now that everyone knows it’s not your fault. I wouldn’t mind…”
Katsuki looked at him and traced his face gently. “You really feel safe here?”

“More safe than I’ve ever felt.” Izuku kissed him. “Even when you weren’t yourself… I still felt how much loved me. And that made me very happy.”

“Ya know I can feel how much love me too, right?”
Katsuki pointed out.

“I assume so. We’re mates afterall.” Izuku laughed.

“Izuku.” Katsuki grabbed his hand. “Tell me what you did with ‘em.”

“Huh?”

“Don’t play dumb.” Katsuki whispered. “I know you better than anyone. I’ve watched you squirm about it all month.”
“What did you do with those bastards?”

Izuku looked at him guiltily before looking down. “Uraraka-San and I… made sure they got what they deserved.”

“When?!”

“When I was at my mom’s.” Izuku confessed. “I snuck away and…”

“How did you do it?! They could have-”
Katsuki panicked.

“I found a gun in Hawks’s Agency that erased quirks!” Izuku explained. “Uraraka’s quirk is also powerful and I had her help. We buried them in Iida’s backyard. Hid their cars in his unused garage and-”

Katsuki growled and smashed their lips together.
“Why didn’t ya let me watch, damnit?! Or ask for my help!”

“I didn’t want you to have to be involved! In case we got in trouble… I didn’t want you incriminated in any way! You already took the fall for what I did when we lived here! I needed to do this! For you! For me!”
“For everyone!” Izuku defended himself. “I love you so much and they hurt you! And they didn’t feel bad about it! And I just knew with the way things were that they would somehow get away with it! Or worse! A slap on the wrist!”

“Did they suffer?” Katsuki questioned.
“Do you wanna know everything?” Izuku asked shyly.

“Every damn detail you can remember!”

One Year Later

“Kacchan! I’m home!” Izuku climbed up the stairs to the lighthouse. “Kacchan?” He looked around and realized his mate must be swimming. Kacchan loved to swim.
This past year was a whirlwind. Izuku used his newfound platform and teamed up with some survivors of the trafficking ring to fight for omegas rights to live peacefully and safely. They helped several survivors get back on their feet.
It felt good to be able to make a change in the world. There weren’t many quirkless people like him. The discrimination he faced felt like it was slowly becoming a thing of the past. Kacchan was doing an independent study and had a new goal he was working toward.
Working behind the scenes to ensure every hero deserved the title they earned. To make sure there were no monsters on the street within 5 feet of omegas like Izuku.

“You’re home early!” Katsuki leapt into the window.

“Kacchan! You’re dry!”
Izuku pointed out. “Where were you?”

“With Dr. Hasana.” Katsuki informed him. “She needed help moving a piano.”

Dr. Hasana was Kacchan’s therapist who was amazing in every way. Kacchan liked her and trusted her and it was nice that she could call him for favors now and then.
“Tell her to get her own big strong alpha!” Izuku teased as Katsuki picked him up and kissed him.

“Jealous?” Katsuki licked his lips.

“Very. I’m gonna buy my own piano to have you move!”

“I also had her do me a favor.” Katsuki informed him.

“You’re asking for favors now?!”
Izuku rubbed their noses together playfully.

“Yeah she helped me pick this out.” Katsuki pulled a box out of his pocket and handed it to Izuku.

“Huh?” Izuku opened it and blinked as he saw a beautiful ring topped with a tiny seashell.
Izuku looked down and saw his mate on his knees.

“Marry me, Izuku.” Katsuki demanded.

“Ah… AH!” Izuku cried as he realized what he was doing. “Y-you really want to… to me?!”

“Duh! Why wouldn’t I wanna marry my mate?!”

“Y-yes! Yes I’ll marry you!” Izuku jumped on him.
Katsuki slyly took last week’s ring off and replaced it.

Every week they role played some elaborate proposal even though they went to the court house and tied the knot as soon as they possibly could.

“For real this time.” Katsuki kissed his hand. “Let’s have a wedding.”
“Hmm?” Izuku looked at the ring again and realized how expensive it looked compared to all the other ones. It was so pretty and shiny and the sea shell was such a nice personal touch. “A big event with a lot of people? You’re ready for something like that?”
“Look, the world is fucked up. I can’t change that. I can try. You can try, but damnit it is what it is. I’m not gonna let that get in the way of the life you deserve anymore.” Katsuki sat up and kissed his head.
“And you deserve to walk down the dam aisle with your mom’s arms around yours. All your friends and heroes watching you dedicate yourself to being mine forever, got it?” Katsuki chuffed.

“Okay…” Izuku giggled. “Kacchan, I’ll happily have a wedding with you!”
“Just like I happily have a life with you.” Izuku slowly kissed him. “My dragon. My prince. My knight.”

“My damn perfect Izuku.” Katsuki pressed their foreheads together.

“Forever.”

Midoriya Kazui was excited as his dam dressed him up in his best clothes. Combed his unruly spiky hair, and put the smell good stuff all over him. It was a routine he was used to and something he found fun.

"Today, I'm gonna do it!" Izuku puffed his cheeks.
"Yeah! There's lantern sharks! And Lemon sharks and Whale sharks! And Nurse sharks!" Kazui and the kid, Mahiro became fast friends. Kazui ended up following him and his family all through the aquarium.

"You should come have dinner with us!" Mahiro begged.
"Yeah! That sounds fun!" Kazui completely forgot about his class as he walked out of the aquarium with them to the parking lot.

"Where are your parents, dear?" Kazui's mother asked him. "We're happy Mahiro made a friend, but.. maybe it's time you go back with your Mama?"

CW: Self Harm, Dark themes (But major healing and love at end!)

Midoriya Izuku lived his biggest dream as the number one hero. It was a short time, but it was the best time of his life. He lost One for All at 23 years old and now he was back to being quirkless.
Izuku gratefully guzzled the water as Katsuki held his head to his heart and let him hear it beat. He always knew exactly what to do.

“Kacchan, you had a hard night last night.” Izuku reminded him. “I saw the news, you were helping those civilians evacuate for hours.”
“The last thing you need to worry about is my runny eggs!”

“Izuku!” Katsuki kissed him. “When we got married, I made an oath. In sickness and in health, damnit! Helping you and your runny eggs is my job that I take seriously!”

Izuku smiled gratefully at him.

Bakugo Katsuki was a very important businessman. No, he was more like a business tyrant. Needless to say, he was extremely busy and this annoying ass wedding planner was the last of his worries. He looked at his assistant,
“I had the wrong idea about you. Thank you for watching over my son. Please continue to allow him to be part of your success.” Inko bowed.

“It wouldn’t be success without him.” Katsuki smirked before standing up. “I’ll try and take more days off for the both of us.”

Izuku jolted awake as his alarm blared for him to get ready for work. Shit! Was he at his mom’s?! He hadn’t slept here in two years, at least. His began to pound. Oh no.

“Are you boys ready for your first day?” Bakugo Mitsuki excitedly asked her son and his childhood friend as they walked out of the house.

“Don’t you dare snap a picture!” Katsuki seethed.
“I am excited, thank you Auntie.” Izuku smiled at her politely and let her take a photo. He then followed Kacchan out the door nervously.

“You better walk behind me!” Katsuki roared.

“Whatever you say, Kacchan.” Izuku said dejectedly. Their relationship was bad.
Izuku could only blame himself for it. He kept his distance from the alpha. But he had to live with him, and unbeknownst to Katsuki, he had to have a future with him. Because they were married.

Izuku wished he could be blissfully unaware of this fact like Kacchan was.
