So let’s talk about this, because @billshortenmp is talking about it at the National Press Club today and Bill is nothing if not a cunning bastard (that’s a compliment, Bill). And listen hard, because this has to do with #Robodebt & #RoboNDIS.

amp.theguardian.com/australia-news…

And THIS. Text description here: (the...
2/ Your first two questions should be this: why are the architects of Robodebt, Scott Britton and Jason Ryman, still employed within fraud and compliance at the Ndia? And what did they do there?

Your second, what’s intended next? #auspol
3/ There are reasons I do conservative media (outside personal relationships) to do with echo chambers and ensuring accurate info is disseminated. And there is no way 20% of NDIS funding is lost to fraud. teamdsc.com.au/resources/have…

Sorry, Mr Phelan. Show us the evidence. #auspol
4/ This narrative is designed to win the conservative vote, push down criticism of the Budget (cunning bastard, remember?) and also, possibly, smooth the pathway for changes to come.

And I would be far more comfortable if Britton and Ryman (and bears, oh my) hadnt been in there.
5/ Now the changes are going to be imminent, because there’s a review. That’s great. Except it’s not finished. And yes, we know you said you’d fix things as you went along. But unless you codesign it with us, there is a real possibility that you’re going to fuck up our funding.
6/ @PWDAustralia @AfdoOffice @kurtfearnley @drgeorgethecrip @EveryAustralian please read this thread, because it’s important. @TeamDSCAus. Because in order to understand impending changes, we have to understand impetus.

Remember this?

Now, I don’t doubt Shorten cares about us. Image
7/ But Shorten, and Labor, are all about the workers. Not the bloated plutocrats, like the LNP, but the unions. And you can guarantee that is who has his ear.

Shorten isn’t wearing the same vest we do, we folk who have skin in the game. No politician is - unless disabled.
8/ @SenatorJordon is the politician I’ve worked most closely with the past and that’s not because I vote Green. I vote below the line and with whoever makes sense, often Labor, often Greens, sometimes others. It’s because Jordon is from my community & he’s wearing that last vest.
9/ What do I think they’re going to do? I think they’re going to implement something they’ve been planning for a long time, under the guise of fraud detection. Something like #robodebt. And this worries me a lot, as it should you. @JeremyPoxon @maximumwelfare @mariehjohnson
10/ Mark Toomey has sent questions about this to reporters at the National Press Club today, and I encourage you to follow Mark, who is leading a legal community response to NDIS shitfuckery.

#nationalpressclub

Because this is BIG. And I’m not sure Shorten knows how big.
11/ Let’s not forget that many of the bureaucrats who still work within those systems are the same people, with the same connections, the same agendas. The same vested interests.

Let’s not forget that these are people wearing a different kind of vest altogether.
12/ I want bad providers to go to jail. But I also want bad workers to go to jail and to be held accountable for abuse and exploitation, and for the voices of people with disability to be at the centre of EVERYTHING in the ndis. This is about choice and control,
13/ That’s what the fabric of our vests is made of, choice & control. And every time it is eroded, every time power is taken from us, that vest becomes a little less likely to save our lives. This is about our support. And the NDIS shouldn’t be a war zone or like a sinking ship.
14/ @billshortenmp, now is the time for full transparency about this. And if you don’t know, you should be finding out in a hurry. Because a lot of disabled people, families & workers believe in you. Thats one very good personal reason to remember who voted y’all in. @AlboMP too.
15/ I drew this image in 2014. A lot has changed, but this hasn’t.

@jamesmassola @lukehgomes @AmberMaySchultz @anneconnollyabc please read the thread above. You too, @robodebtRC and @DRC_AU. It’s important.

No more opacity in OUR NDIS. @jackiesoftly @CraigWtweets @feegle12 Same image as above
16/ Breaking ** Scott Britton is on extended leave from the NDIA. But still employed and unknown damage done to the scheme.

I really, really hope that @ACNC_gov_au are having a mother's look at Hillsong's affairs.

Last year's whistle-blower action talked about their 'independent' consultant.

Here's a list of entities that THAT guy's involved in. Including Horizon.

Links in next tweet. ImageImage
2/ You might want to have a look at how independent Mr Kirkland is. And what is going on in NZ. abc.net.au/news/2022-08-1…

webworm.co/p/graemekirkwo…

And you might also note Louise Markus, who is still head of AIHW, is now on the Hillsong Board. aihw.gov.au
3/ These people are the reason Jesus's middle name is Fucking.

Honestly. You could not make it up.

The Board structure is very, very different now. But the internet doesn't go away and neither do company records. Have a look at the number of overseas charity websites they had.

From a friend who has achondroplasia.

‘These are the feet of a person with achondroplasia. They are swollen, blistered and a little bruised.

They are this way following a day spent away from their custom designed office chair and footstool. Away from their modified desk.
2/ A day where no one offered their seat on the bus (but did for an ageing person). A day where they attended many meetings and sat on ‘normal chairs’ causing their legs to dangle unsupported in mid-air - causing swelling and back pain.
3/ A day where they spent a lot of time discussing & considering the access & support needs of others. Which I love. Just like my job and the people I work with.
.
Sometimes being strong, stoic, silent, convenient and complicit is a little rough.

Because I am funny as fuck, I asked #chatgpt to decode @elonmusk's Twitter code as recently published on Github.

Do others concur with ChatGPTs view that part of the script's purpose is to gauge ongoing sentiment about the upcoming US election?

github.com/twitter/the-al…
2/ What do you think the context of the word 'candidate' is in the above script?

In the context of the above script, the word "candidate" most likely refers to a political candidate running for office.
3/ What do the strings that talk about candidates say? Please decode them and indicate the intent of each command.
Here are some of the strings in the script that talk about candidates and their intent:

I’m seeing TERFs calling up the word ‘autism’ to justify making transgender folk less safe.

So let’s talk about how autism, neurodivergent and queerness overlaps - and how we aren’t the same as you, and how we are.

Let’s talk about cupboard doors.

And who fucking opened them.
2/ Firstly, the stats. About half of all autistics are queer. We are 12x more likely to be transgender.

That’s why you hear the word ‘autism’ coming out of the TERFs thin mouths. They think we need PROTECTION. That we don’t know our own minds.

Nothing further from the truth.
3/ What people don’t understand is that we do actually think and behave differently. That’s a problem for allistic (non autistic) and neurotypical people.

If I roll into a kitchen, I can often tell if there’s a neurodivergent person living in the house, just by looking.
